(Gert bursts into Nico's room at night, carrying a laptop)
Gert: Nico, you've gotta see this!
Nico: Whatever it is, shove off. Its only been three days since we got Victor back from Ultron. I'm craving some good old tedium, not excitment or drama (Nico working on some sewing)
Gert: Believe me, you'll want to see this!
(Nico looks at the laptop, drops her sewing needle and clothes she was wroking on)

Nico: (excited) Majesdaneans are starting a colony near Los Angeles! And the news photos show Karolina is with them!
Gert: Yeah, she's been working as a liason between the Majesdaneans and California's leaders. The media is praising this as an inter-species diplomatic breakthrough. They all love taking in refugees. So Nico, should we ditch Mexico City and hop on back to L.A.?
(glances up and sees Nico smiling and giddy)
Gert: Did I even need to ask?

Victor: So we're all leaving in the middle of the night just so Nico can go on a booty call? Why couldn't this wait until morning?
Chase: Can it, you cyborg sissy! If you can live without a body then you can survive staying up one night.
Molly: And how could you be so callous Victor? Karolina is a part of out family. Xavin's there too.
Victor: Yeah...how exactly did that jerk Xavin become general of their security force? I thought the Majesdaneans hated Skrulls?
Molly: It'll be fun to find out when we see them!

Chase: No Klara, we aren't taking any plants, just your clothes and belongings.
Klara: In that case, the flowers will just have to keep Louisa and Abuella company.
Gib: I travel lightly.
Chase: Yeah, its the only thing you do lightly Gib, and I'm grateful for that.
Gert: I'm going to check on Nico, see whats taking her so long.
(Gert sees Nico in the bathroom putting in contact lenses) Gert: Come on Nico, lets get going!
Nico: I'm just switching back to contacts, I have to look my best for my big reunion with Karolina.

Nico: Okay, we probably shouldn't just barge into the Majesdanean settlement. That would just lead to another fight with the Light Brigade.
Chase: And then that could draw unwanted attention from the feds.
Klara: Just as an FYI, I am not going back to the foster care system.
Nico: And we won't let them take you, Klara. So Gert, whats the situation?
(Gert checks her phone)

Gert: Right now there's a big ceremony where the mayor is officially welocoming the Majesdanean settlement. There'll be big crowds and lots of media attention that we'll want to avoid. What's more, Doc Alex and his J Team will be stepping in as security.
Victor: Yet another obstacle to bypass.
Nico: As much as I want to be back in Karolina's bright loving embrace, we should wait until the crowds die down.
Chase: And no offense, but us normal looking people should go, so as to not draw attention.
Doombot: Hmmmph!
Gib: That is acceptable.

(Its near sunset, Nico, Chase, Gert, Molly, Victor and Klara sneak into the Majesdanean settlement, lots of Majesdaneans are around, some lit up, some not, they take no notice of the kids)
Victor: So what's the deal with Nico? We're just going to wander about until we see Karolina?
Nico: Um, yeah, thats about it.

(Xavin and Victor begin fighting)

Klara: What is the matter with you two!? This is the first time you've seen each other in years and all you can do is fight?
Xavin: Oh, hello Klara.

(Klara comes back down and the vines release Xavin and VIctor)
Majesdanean 1: Humans invading our settlement already, and we just got here.
Majesdanean 2: More outsiders coming in from over there.
Majesdanean 3: Why oh why haven't the perimeter defenses been constructed yet?
Klara: I'm so sorry about this!
Chase: Its okay Klara, its not the end of the world.
Xavin: Members of the J-Team are coming along. Go hide in my office over yonder, its the least I can do for old friends.

(The kids go to Xavin's small office building, Xavin walks to the opposite direction)

Xavin: (speakes to the Majesdaneans) Everyone calm down, that was just a little misunderstanding with some special guests. Please let me handle this. (Marikit and Automarda come up) Welcome, members of the honorable J Team. How can I help you?
Automarda: Aye, General Xavin, we come o'er 'ere ta see what all the ruckus was aboot.
Xavin: What ruckus? There is nothing out of place in this settlement.
(Marikit points to the large vines)

Xavin: Oh the vines? These are just a cherished Majesdanean traditional aesthetic choice.
Marikit: (unconvinced) Really?
Xavin: Yes really, do you dare to question the culture and heritage of legal alien immigrants? People around here might call you bigoted for that.
Marikit: (puts on a forced smile) Oh, a thousand pardons, General Xavin. Automarda and I shall depart since we are not needed here. But don't forget, the higher ups agreed that this settlement would get protection from L.A. superheroes when need be.
Xavin: Yes, I know. I was there when the negotiations were being made.
(Marikit and Automarda walk off)
Automarda: Ye be lousy at niceties, Marikit.
Marikit: Oh, you're suddenly an expert on the nuances of human behavior, you walking armory?

(Xavin finds the kids arguing with the Majesdanean soldiers)
Nico: See, this was a trap all along! Why else would these Majesdanean soldiers be here?
De Halle: The despicable humans are already plotting genocide on the glorious Majesdaneans. They've started by infiltrating our security offic eto cripple it!
Victor: Are you always angry and shouty?
Va Rikk: She is, I'm sorry.
Va Drann: De Halle, control your temper. We have to learn to live alongside the humans. There aren't any other suitable planets for the Majesdaneans to settle, and I for one was tired of drifitng on that asteroid.
Xavin: Be cool everyone, I'm back.
Va Drann: General! (salutes)

Xavin: Stand down, De Halle. My friends, I'm sorry about this rough start. I'll take you to Karolina.
(They start to walk out)
Molly: So, about you being called a general?
Xavin: Ah yes, as you know the Majesdanean home planet got destroyed along with the skrull outpost I had once called home. (They all walk through the Majesdanean settlement) The surviving skrulls simply retreated to other areas of the empire. But the Majesdaneans only had a few space stations and ships left to them. They were reduced to huddling down on an asteroid. But I was able to achieve an acquital for Karolina and myself because I offered to them an alternative.
Gert: Colonizing earth, which you finally got around to doing just now.
Xavin: Correct, Gert. My past experience on earth, and fighting the skrull invasion in Newyork is what sold it. My valuable experience as a warrior prince helped me become the general of the security force.

Chase: Well, this place is pretty expansive for being built only recently.
Gert: And I read that there was only about 50,000 Majesdaneans in here.
Xavin: Yes, they have technology that makes construction take less time that with human construction crews, the Majesdaneans like to be spread out and detest crowds or tall buildings.
Nico: So, um, avin...You and Karolina aren't still together as a couple are you?
Xavin: Nope, I knew that kind of relationship was over for us when I saw that Karoilna had found new love.
Nico: Oh thank god!
(They come up to a house)
Xavin: Here's the one Karolina resides at.

(Marikit and Automarda come in)
Alex: Marikit, Automarda, you're supposed to be on patrol for another hour.
Marikit: Your old friends are at the Majesdanean settlement lord Alex, and General Xavin is hiding them.
Alex: Ah, I knew that would happen sooner or later. I believe I shall give my old town a plainsclothes visit...

Klara: Yeah, its kind of a long story. First lets hear what you've been up to Karolina.

Karolina: Well, after the Majesdanean healers fixed me up good and proper, I got to learn about the culture and history of my people. A lot more than my first trip to space. And in turn, I've been teaching them all baout earth and even shared my vegan recepies which they've really taken to. Oh, I've been so fulfilled from my work these past few months.
Nico: I'm so glad for you Karrie.
