Sup guys? Time for another story, this one about Mass Effect and Xenoblade. Enjoy the 4200-word chapter. I do not own Mass Effect or Xenoblade, Bioware, Monolith, and a few others do.

The body of the captain was not something they had wanted to find for now. The crew gathered around their body, watching as the medics tried in vain to bring them to life again. All of them knew there was no saving them, it would not save them at all anyway.

Yet? They were focused partly on another issue. Their captain was dead which meant something had to change. It had to be worse and yet. Well, there was hope.

They both looked around as if expecting something that had come before now. All they cared more and more about now was what needed to be done and yet? There was an element of relaxing when it came down to it.

There were signs of acceptance as they looked around before it came down to it. There were a few more measures of properly focusing on it for now sadly. They knew more and more such issues would be spreading through such a state as if it were a tall glass of water.

This was a lot more to understand as he sighed to himself before now had gone for.

The ship was all too much of a mess as the medical team softy started to remove the man as each Quarian shared looks. It was clear a chain of command needed to exist; a captain was as vital to a Quarian as blood in the veins of a sentient being.

"Who's the second officer?" One asked, looking around the damn room with interest before now. "Still? We need to look around the damn ship and find who the damn commander is." He shook his head before sighing to himself with annoyance.

It was a lot more of an odd maneuver to ask before now, but it managed to get the job done. Every single little Quarian in the group brought up their Omni tools as data was processed and several questions were skilled through.

"We need a Gremsa Trial." One of the Quarians stated that it needed to be handled properly.

"That has not been tried since we've left homeworld, are you insane!?" Another asked to which no noise came from their throat.

"No, but if I captain is not decided? The Voray would be nothing more than a pile of scrap in orbit. We need a captain, then we can debate it." The warrior stated as the rest of the group fell silent, and it was clear a point was made.

There was no point in arguing who may or may not become captain of the Voray and such. The ship needed leadership and either way?

Well, someone needed to be in charge and carry the burden of leadership, or else nothing here would get done. They could complain about it, but at the least, they would oversee complaining in general at the time being. That would be better than a ship filled with headless chickens as the humans were so keen on calling it for now.

There was a lot more to discuss and someone would need to be now and forever worth it… All small offers, for now, could be tossed aside and anything resembling a counter melted down… All would bow and all would be dealt with in due time when a new leader rose.

"We need a better leader." One said before another cut in.

"The captain was not a bad leader. We would be a cruiser fighting a Cerberus ship if it was not for his leadership. We would not have been able to survive to talk in this manner…." Another said before shaking his head. "The man is dead, Rami, we can at least repay him with some honor." The man said before sighing.

"We can save it for the funeral. Captain Gremj needs to be laid to rest before we do anything about who takes over… Why chatter about leadership before it is all said and done?" Another voice stated as they turned to Sheene.

It was clear the Quarian did not want to be spotted but it would not do to simply watch and wait for violence to arise. A leader was needed, and it was clear, yet?

Not at the cost of paying respect to traditions, an aspect of culture that needed to be continued. Sheene' did not wish to be involved in it and yet he would not simply allow them to sit aside and desecrate it all in a manner that went against who a Quarian was.

And it seemed as if they agreed and yet at the same time it could be done and dusted properly. They had more and more problems with such an issue and then quietly seemed to become bored and bored…

The Quarians were a species that did not leave now. All of it could be something that needed to be dealt with at the end of the day, there was a lot to discuss and work through. An issue not easily dealt with now and forever.

"How long will it take to get the repairs done? We can have the meeting when the ship is not in danger of exploding or falling out of orbit." He heard before Sheene spoke up.

"One hour according to what I have seen on my Omni tool. Those last few blasts took some systems offline and if they are not addressed? We are going to be busy arguing about who is the captain of a wreck if we are not all dead from an explosion." Sheene stated before sighing to himself, utterly tired as if not at all expecting it to get anywhere serious at the end of the day.

It was a very odd bit of work that could be addressed, a very odd bit to most other species but they were not at all them as he seemed to get more and more issues upon now and looked to the side and it became a lot more of an issue at the end of the day. There was a lot more for him to try and process at the second.

This was not something that could be dealt with, not easily… No. it had to be a problem that could only be quenched over and over.

"Whoever's captain is going to be taking over a damn wreck. The drivers are a mess, weapon systems are in tatters, barriers are barely keeping atmosphere inside." Sheene heard as he sighed and only snorted.

It was all too easily done and dusted. They had a LOT more to focus on and so much to overcome. It would get better if given sufficient time and effort.

"This is OUR wreck, Jamk. You would do well to remember that before the ship falls all apart, okay?" Sheene stated before he sighed, utterly thrown off, tired and utterly baffled and amused.

They had a lot more to try and focus on at the end of the day when push came to shove. They had a lot more to focus on and not at all did it get better for now.

There was a lot more to try and focus on now and it was clear more and more they had more games to try and play. This was not something they could focus on at this juncture.

His people wanted leadership and yet they could not even agree with it. The admirals who governed them were all too unwilling to make plays they were used to; plays they would benefit from at the time being.

He had a few seconds of silence, and a few more times of enjoyment at the end of the day. There was more on the horizon than it could be.

"We need to go before they come back; can we agree on that? Can we possibly not kill each other before the ship does not explode under us?" He heard and was silent at the end of the day.

"Maybe, some of us want to die now. This piece of trash is not a ship we have been on it so long that we have gotten to relax at the time being." He said before clicking his tongue against the roof of their mouth.

It almost made him entirely annoyed but still? He knew his people and knew them better and better than keeping his mouth shut and allowing others to inject more colorful ideas and thoughts into them. If anything? All it did was remind the Quarian his people were still divided even as much as before. It needs to be dealt with before someone dies…

The only problem was just how bad things would be before someone died.

His people were stubborn, far beyond set in their ways to change, and far too unsure to decide what was best for them. If anything? They were set back by their politics more and more.

It scared him to know his people would rather destroy themselves, and be beaten down utterly and horridly than allow someone to command them properly. He did not want to be the one to tell his people he told them so, however. They were much too stubborn to really listen or even care.

Still? it needed to be said. They needed to be told this would only lead to further pain, to misery, that it would cut them apart if they stayed on this way.

He did not want to tell them and yet he assumed he might have to at the end of it all even if he did not want to try and fight more and more horrid at the end of the day.

They had to keep going more and more at the time right now, something that would keep going as he looked down to the ground.

There was a lot more to try and understand and it seemed to be more and more amusing now, something that was all too easy, eager to figure it all out at the end of the day.

Still? There was a lot more to try and understand at the end of the moment. All of it became harder and harder to try and figure out. What he did know was they had to continue going and going on and on and on. Whatever he tossed at the wall next? He was all too eager to figure it out.

"We are going ahead with the plan anyway. The more time spent here? The more we can relax with and bring crashing down to the ground. We are not going to let them get anywhere anytime soon. It just will not work if it comes down to it." He heard as he looked down at the ground.

It hurt a lot more to figure out now and something else was clawing down the line.

An idea that could and would continue to cut deep to the bone, all too eager to figure out everything, just like what he was going to do next.

It was a lot more eager to fix, to deal with it than possible for now. There was a lot more on the mind and all of it meant something, a lot more than usual, and what he did do? It was pitiful compared to his desire, unsure of it all. They had the desire to fight onward and onward.

He was reminded of the people in his identity. They were stubborn, eager to keep their old ways going, even in the desire to keep their path, something he did not easily share nor deal with.

Whatever he did next was a response to a real dance of this scale, something that he could and would love to meet, to greet if nothing else at the end of their time being.

They had a lot more to see and even do than it was possible to keep up with. A desire that burned like a fire within the pit of his stomach.

He wanted to help but he was not stupid or dense, simply more and more as he looked around and paused as he clicked his tongue once more. They had so much more to do for now that it bugged him.

He had not yet managed to focus once more, unsure of it. They had a lot more to figure out, looking down at the ground before now.

All of it drove him mad, again, and again, when, he was sure. He did not want to find something out that he could not at all handle, he was not the leader, nor would he be able to relax for now.

"All of this and we must get thrown for a loop when a ship breaks down. Nobody wants to step up on the plate, there was a lot more I just cannot believe for now. These are Quarians?" He asked before rubbing at his helmet, unsure of what to try and do.

If there was something else on the line, he would do it, if there was a shipping problem. He would handle it. He had more to do than lead and he had no experience for now in leading his people.

That was probably why he was no admiral and the other admirals were too busy relaxing back home, deciding plans for now.

He had a lot odder and amusing for now, something that could and would bug him at the time when it came down to it. So much more was going on than as of now, what else could be done to try and fix it? Whatever else was more inviting for now.

He had a lot more to see and do as he sighed before he returned to his technology.

What he did do next? It was a lot more to try and figure out before he clicked his tongue against the roof of his mouth, he hummed to himself, yawning before looking down at the ground.

If something bothered him so much for now, an idea that he had to rectify to try and understand now.

He was silent, so utterly silent purely because he knew better than that to try and push them into position now. They would need to conclude to better themselves their way and not his, otherwise?

They would be no less good than the captains who had let them down for now. Yes, it appeared a lesson was to be needed for the time being as he hummed, utterly unsure and unable to fathom it for now… There was a measure upon which he could only relax once more.

He would need to try and deal with it all, something that would be perhaps oddly divided now, a desire that needed to end clearly and goodly.

There was a LOT more to try and deal with such things, there was a lot more to which he was thrown off and could not focus.

He was a mere engineer and yet? He was divided by something he did not wish to try and end properly, something he was unyielding for now as it did no good.

They had a lot more to fix, to upgrade, and to engineer back to working condition as they were aware of the flaws in their stratagem, perhaps that was for the best that he could not end for now, a measure upon which he could not relax.

He sighed as he thought of all the ways that would not get them out of here but lived perhaps in a space in his mind without fault or anything like it all at the end of their day for now.

They were too ready a soldier to try and deal with, knowing that it was all too much to try and deal with, cutting things to pieces before it made himself hum again and again, willing to try and figure out a plan.

He wanted their ship okay, too ready to try and relax for now as the soldier seemed to need to relax… He was alone among the crews, alone here knowing what would become of it and become of a measure of mercy… It would not need to be dealt with now but if they would be met out.

All the ideas in his memory showed simply what would come because of it all at the end of the day.

He cracked a smile under his armor as he looked downwards at the ground, knowing that he was going to try and fix the ship and not exactly caring how it was fixed beyond what needed to be done with and what would come later… It did not matter so much now if he fixed the ship.

That? That was what mattered more and more to him than anything that he would need to figure out as of now.

It would not end for now and then he paused to look downwards as it came down to it, knowing that would be dealt with consequences, knowing that all it did was weaken their stance.

Yes, if anything. It did very little to help, knowing that it all really would not be something to write home for now and they had a lot of problems figuring out something.

Anything was better than this, anything to see it all end now, a cut below the skin and one he did not know how to handle, something that hit harder and harder.

They had a LOT of measure of sanity to deal with, something that did not matter or would not either way… Something else to deal with knowing what was to come and knowing that the next move would probably end up being the last, unwilling to risk it for now.

They had a LOT of things to deal with, not knowing how it would end for now as she paused before looking to see and dealing with now and would keep being dealt with for now in waves and droves.

That would be funny for it to be ended, unsure of it for now… It paused and made it do something that might not have made sense otherwise. He paused to try and figure out another way for it to end.

Perhaps it could be done and dusted but it would be too painful for words, for anything else to be done and dusted. She paused to look over at him, too unsure of what would be done to fix it… There was a lot more to the story than was being told, and a lot more than she wished to be.

She did not at all know what was going on and it would be fun.

Raion slowly yet surely walked down the stairs, too fascinated by it all, too unwilling to do more than relax… It meant something for now and he paused to let it all pass over.

She had been too conceited, too tired for now, and wished for now to relax. It was a LOT more painful than it had any right to have been for now… It was glorious and it would be so for a longer time than it was possible to deal with for now.

All he could do? All he could deal with was scream, try, and deal with it for now, there was just too much upon his mind, too much to contemplate… All he could do, all he wished to do was try and end it, to end all the ideals he had… Yet? He could not do that without something to latch onto such a thing, unwilling to deal with it as needed, unwilling to die out for now, and wanting it all said and done.

Yet? He for all his madness? Knew what was coming, he had known, too relaxed for now, too interested in what was coming, what was going.

He slowly yet surely seemed to be taking his time to relax, to exhaust his options to end with it for now… Otherwise? He was tired, he was worn down, and as a soldier? A Quarian? A warrior? They had more to deal with, something he could not let die out.

All of it? All such ideals would end up screaming her for now as she wished to try and deal with a missing hand he could not have allowed to happen and would have happened now and for good… Even then? He could not relent, he could not falter, and could not be allowed to do much now.

For if he did? He would have had to relax for now as he paused to try and deal with for now, he had been for now, he had been too disturbed for now and he paused to let it off for now.

He acted as he could… He would act according to his station and he would not allow it to end, something chaotic for the duration of the term… He acted as he had before and he had been ready for… Even then? He would need to convince the others, for now, he would need to.

That hurt but it was something that he could manage for now and for good reason. All the chaos? The pain? The agony? It would come crashing down upon him.

The madness ended it for now and looked to the side, knowing what would come as a result. He had a lot more pain on his mind and he just could not allow it to end this.

He had zero in the way of such an issue, zero in the way of an idea that would cripple them… Perhaps it would mean something now but it was impossible to have been dealt with for now… Even then? He could not relax or relent for now.

Even then? He had been too interested in what came next. He had so much left to see and do when it came down to it… They could not afford to stop for now.

Such chaos was beyond him… Beyond ALL of them, he was too bored to the end… For such a thing? It was clear the chaos that would come as a result was something not even the most impressive scientists could deal with for now.

He had been willing to deal with it for now and he had little to no damn clue about what to have done next… Even then? He would not relent in such a thing… He had been too interested in what was going on…. For such then? A transgression like this would and could have existed for a whole while longer

He had been interested too interested in what was coming on before he managed it for now. It was a lot more to try and deal with it for now, she had a lot more to try and deal with it at the end for now… She had been too interested in what was going to be dealt with for now.

Every single little moment seemed to be dealt with for now. There was a lot more to this, chaos which he had a lot more to try and deal with.

Perhaps she had been too interested as of now before she clicked her fingers against one another for now… It was chaotic to a degree for now as she paused to think.

He had a lot more to see and do, too interested in what was going on… And he sighed before more alarms blared on the ship.

He had been too interested in now, knowing what to be done thinking on for now as he clicked his tongue against the roof of his mouth.

This day was going to have to end with them. Such a thing would be chaotic and it would be pushing to the edge of all known life in the galaxy.

Perhaps if he had known? He had been familiar enough to act insanely out of control… He had no real idea to try and figure it all out as he paused to do it.

He had not been able to deal with it… He had been familiar with it before he relaxed… He would always need to relax lest it go the way of the bull.

All he could do was relax…. Because he knew what was growing on before he relaxed… He knew what was going on was something to fear at the end of the day.

He had a lot more to see and to do, a lot more than this, and that was putting it lightly, the mere idea of it was something that he could not at all let end, he had been able to think of it when it came to it.

He had been able to deal with now as he came down to it for now as of the time being. All she could do was scream, letting it end more terribly for now.

She had been bored with it as of the time being when push came to shove.

There was a lot more to try and figure out. That much? That was certain for now.

Author Notes

Phew. Another chapter is done! The next chapter will be in 2-10 months. I want to point out that the next chapter will be 900-6500 words and such. I want to point out that the next chapter will be showing more of their meeting until then. Until then, Lighting Wolf is out!
