"Stratosphere set course for Outpost Horus" Mia said as she walked back. A section had been cordoned off so Iz and Mami could have some privacy
"We're heading back to base?" Vast asked
"Yeah, Sakamoto's orders" Mia said
"Why?" Kuromu asked
"Not sure, but probably has to do with Mrs Amaha there" Mia said
"Well she just showed up in the middle of Egypt for no reason"
"EGYPT! I was in Egypt?" Mami asked.
"Yep, about 20 minutes drive away from the great sphinx" Iz said applying a gel to her sunburn
"Has there been any talk about searcher?" Mami asked
"That team that found Vector Sigma?" Kuromu asked "Someone thinks they can find something called the Wreckers"
"What is that?" Mami asked
"we're not sure, but they are needed to face something dubbed Terrorcons" Mia said
"Good, because they needed to be taken down" Mami said bitterly
"You know them?" Chisato asked
"They killed 11 of my husband's siblings" Mami scowled
"Oh wow" Chisato said.
"Ruby was in New York, but how, why?" Yang asked
"Yang calm down" Shiro told her
"So Ruby was in New York during the 2010's?" Edward frowned
"Looks like it" Inori said
"So where is she now?" Nagisa asked before the gauntlet notified him about a phone call he was getting, "Excuse me" he said walking off to answer it "Nagisa Amaha here"
"Hey Nagisa, I was hoping to get in touch with you" Rio said
"What's up?" Nagisa asked
"Just found something you should see, I'll send it by email" Rio said
"Alright" Nagisa acknowledged and receive an image. Opening it up he saw a pair of soldiers "Who are they?" Nagisa asked
"Hawk and Draco, but look in the background, isn't that your sister?" Rio asked as Nagisa zoomed in behind Draco "Yeah it is, when was this taken?"
"Five minutes before the event" Rio told him
"Shit!" Nagisa cursed.
Ruby woke up and held her held, that blast of light had come out of nowhere. The last thing she saw was the battlefield. But right now she was laying on a comfy bed, was she back at the base in the infirmary, but this didn't look like the one at home
"So you're awake" a voice said, one Ruby was familiar with, she snapped the door, for standing there was the last person she expected to see
'Dad!' Ruby mentally thought as her father Taiyang Xiao Long was standing there in a military uniform, she knew he worked with some military group just not sure which one. "Where are we?"
"You're on board the USS Flagg, the pride and joy of the Global Infantry Justice Operational Elite or G.I.J.O.E." Taiyang said
"I think General Infantry Joint Operational Enforcement Service would be a better title" Ruby said
"Yeah it would" Taiyang laughed "You remind me of my wife and my daughter"
"Do I?" Ruby asked
"Yeah, especially the eyes, are you a relative?" Taiyang asked
"Something like that" Ruby smiled
"Oh I see" Taiyang replied.
"Can I ask what the date is?" Ruby asked
"Sure" Taiyang said before telling the date making Ruby go wide eyed
"Hey Draco, Hawk wants you topside" a solider said
"You got it" Taiyang said "You want some fresh air?"
"Yeah" Ruby nodded.
Ruby looked out at the water frowning as she was waiting for the attack. She had somehow gone back to the day of the Event, something she didn't think she would have gone through a second time. But this time she was 16 years old and was near her dad who was talking to his boss. What she wasn't expecting was that he was a member of the G.I. JOES! She knew it could change the history of the world, but she felt like she needed to warn her father
"You okay kiddo?" Taiyang asked walking over to her
"I am, just worried" Ruby smiled
"About what?" Taiyang asked it's a beautiful day" he smiled
"Because soon the world will be reduced by 10%" Ruby told him
"And how do you know that?" Taiyang asked
"Because I'm from ten years in the future, and the reason I look like your wife and daughter is becau" Ruby said before
"DRACO HEAD'S UP!"A radar tech said as he jogged over "We got bogies on the way, look to be an hour out sir"
"Understood" Taiyang said before he looked to Ruby "Who are you?"
"I'm Ruby Rose" she said mournfully "I'm your daughter"
"So tell me Ultra Magnus, why are you concerned by the phase Time is Twisted?" Masane asked
"It just seems like nonsense" Kusanagi said
"I wish it was, but in our history annuals Time is Twisted is a warning and a prophecy. For when Time is twisted the Arisen shall fall and the Fallen will arise" Ultra Magnus told them a frown evident on his face
"And the Fallen is?" Masane asked, making Ultra Magnus nod to Ratchet who brought up the mural of the primes, highlighting the Fallen
"The Fallen was one of the original primes, Megatronus was his name, but it is scarcely heard in the halls of Cybertron. He was created with the other 12 primes to defeat the Chaosbringer Unicron! Only what was failed to take in consideration was Unicron's ability to corrupt Transformers. And so as his final act he decided to corrupt the Fallen. He decided to continue Unicron's mission of spreading chaos, and along the way his lover Solus Prime with the very weapon she made for her: the Requiem Blaster"
"The same weapon Megatron based he's own weapon" Kusanagi said
"How did they defeat him?" Masane asked
"we didn't the 13th Primes sealed him away, but it used up the rest of his life force. He was given a new life force, now what I am about to say is highly classified on Cybertron. But the 13th Prime was reformatted into Orion Pax" Ultra Magnus informed them
"Wait, are you saying that is Optimus up there on that mural?" Masane asked
"Indeed it is, but now we have to worry about the Fallen since Optimus is gone" Ultra Magnus said
Back 10 years in the past Ruby was worried looking out over the horizon. Her dad went off to look at something
"Everything alright Kid?" Hawk asked
"Yeah it is sir, thank you for helping me" Ruby said
"No worries kid" Hawk said as Taiyang raced over and saluted "What is it Draco?" he asked
"We got enemies, and they match those from the time that Nocturne was active" Taiyang said making Ruby's heart sink
'Decepticons' she mentally panicked
"You mean these Decepticons or whatever they're called?" Hawk asked
"Yes sir" Taiyang said
"Okay, I'll let the others know" Hawk said leaving the two
"You were right" Taiyang said "So what happens?"
"I can't tell you" Ruby said "Because who knows what will happen"
"I see" Taiyang frowned. "I Understand, and I'm sorry"
"What do you mean?" Ruby asked
"Because I think I might know what happens" Taiyang said
"You do?" Ruby asked as she was hugged
"Yeah and I'm sorry kiddo" Taiyang said softly before Ruby started to cry in his arms.
Back in the present Yang was trying to use software to digital age Ruby ten years
"Think your contacts at GI JOES can find Ruby?" Rin asked
"I think so, she was on the Flagg when it was attacked" Nagisa told them
"I see" Rin said
"Ten years, she's been alive for ten years, so why didn't she come back" Yang asked as tears started to pool
"We'll ask her when we find her" Weiss said
"Could also be the paradox" Henry said
"Good point" Shiro nodded
"Still she could give us a more of a heads up" Inori muttered, Nagisa frowned before he noticed something "Nagisa?"
"I think we got another sibling located, this one older then Setsuna" Nagisa informed them
"Who and when?" Rin asked
"I found the phrase the white knight of the sleeping dragon" Nagsia told them
"Sleeping Dragon, you don't think?" Rin asked
"Tatsumi" Edward said "he's name in English means Sleeping Dragon"
"When?" Yang asked
"The battle of Knight's Hollow, the one in the middle ages" Nagsia said
"What!" the sibling said shocked
"The throne room!" Nagisa shouted "RATCHET!" he then dashed off
"Forget it!" Ratchet said as the Amaha sibling told them their discovery
"You're kidding" Blake said
"I'm afraid so" Ratchet said "Your mother has told me not to let you anywhere"
"But it's our brother!" Edward snapped
"And who know what he has regarding to this?" Weiss said
"Look, I'm sorry but you are not travelling to England to chase a possible lead" Ratchet said
"Doctor, what is going on here?" Ultra Magnus asked
"Oh great, the New guy is here" Yang snorted
"Yang" Rin warned
"Greetings, I know I may not be making things the easiest they can be, but I would like to help" Ultra Magnus said
"We might know the location of another one of our brothers" Rin said
"And you require a gate to get there?" Ultra Magnus asked
"Yeah" They all said
"I see, Doctor have a NEST Team put together and search that location" Ultra Magnus ordered
"Yes sir, I'll send in Section 9" Ratchet said
"Well guys, let's go. We got nothing to do otherwise" Yang said as she lead the team off, Nagsia looked back before following them
"I know that was hard" Ultra Magnus said
"You have no idea; but until we can find a way to stop their plans to bring the Fallen back" Ratchet said
"It's what's best for them" Ultra Magnus nodded.
"Yes' Ratchet sighed.
Back in the past Ruby was dodging explosions as the Decepticons attacked the carrier, she was behind some crates and fired at them. She was not happy since her dad was somewhere.
"INCOMING!" a Joe cried as several f them was caught in the explosion
"Shit" Ruby shouted before picking up a rifle and opening fire at the humans that were attacking "Something tells me these guys aren't MECH" she frowned
"They're not, these guys are COBRA!" a Joe shouted as he fired back
"These guys don't sound low level crooks" Ruby said before another Decepticon attacked destroyed more of the ship "Where is an Autobot when you need one?" she asked before an A10 Thunderbolt flew over head and opened fire at the airborne Decepticons. "Spoke too soon" she smiled as before firing at COBRA again. After an hour the attack was complete and the Joes were moving the bodies into one pile. Ruby looked around the ship until she found her father. "Dad" she said softly, kneeling down next to him and take his hand.
"Hey Ruby" Taiyang coughed off a bit of blood. "oh damn, looks like I caught one too many pieces of shrapnel" he revealed showing a large piece of metal in his side. Ruby gasped and went to touch it, only for her father's cooling hand "maybe don't do that" he said looking up into his daughter's eyes, he knew that currently his little girl was with her mother in Japan "Looks like I'm not meeting up with you, Yang and your mother...who knows maybe I'll see her in the afterlife and I'll tell her what I saw here today. Forgive me Ruby and know I love you" Taiyang said kissing her forehead before he passed away.
"I love you too daddy" Ruby said putting his hands on his chest
"I'm sorry Miss Rose" Hawk said, putting his coat over her shoulders.
"Thank you General" Ruby said as she started to cry.
In the present Nagisa was watching as a small team of NEST forces were preparing to go through a ground bridge,
"So which one will he pick?" Yang asked
"I'm not sure what you mean" Edward said
"They're checking the back of the trucks" Yang said watching as Inori, Nagisa and Shiro got in one
"Why?" Henry asked
"Us" the two older siblings said as Itami got into the truck where their siblings hid
"They're going to get busted" Blake said
"By who?" Weiss asked
"Who cares, as long as we get another one of us back" Rin said
"Good luck guys" Henry smiled.
"AUTOBOTS!" Ultra Magnus shouted "Transform and roll out" he ordered as he joined the team going as he drove through the space bridge.
G'day Guys Grizz here, and wow you thought Chapter 4 was a gut punch. I knew from the start of this fic I knew I had to do the event again from an angle that was not covered before. So why not have it be Ruby and have her see what happened to her dad, so this chapter was focused on that while giving the location to the next sibling, which is Tatsumi and yes we're going to see Artoria from Fate next chapter which is kind of cool since I enjoyed writing that part of the Age of the king. Nwo don't worry some of these will be kind of sad and dark, but I am planning one goofy recovery which will be fun
