Breathing the fresh air of the outside world, The Tarnished walked a few steps forward and placed his hand near the Site of Grace, feeling the warmth flood through his body and invigorate his flesh.
"Hey Dude," The Tarnished spoke up, looking at the white-masked man, "I need your help for something,"
The man, who stood silently watching The Tarnished, spoke up after being addressed.
"Help you seek? Why I see no fault in listening to your woes, we are Tarnished after all." The man said, not moving from his spot as he stared at The Tarnished sitting by the site of grace.
"Really? That's great man-" The Tarnished was interrupted from what he planned to say.
"However, as it seems, you are Maidenless. Your journey has already come to a close. Without a Maiden to guide you, you will never be able to claim the Elden Ring," The White-Masked man told him.
"Listen, dude, I don't care about whatever it is you're talking about, I just need your help to bury someone." The Tarnished told him from his spot on the ground, and the soft chuckle of the White-Masked man stopped.
"Bury someone?" He asked confused, "While that is not the weirdest thing I have heard since arriving at The Lands Between, May I still ask you why?"
"Yeah, You said I was Maidenless, right?" The Tarnished asked, getting a nod from the masked man, "That's it, My Maiden is dead, And I want to give her a proper burial." He said.
"A Burial for a Maiden..." The man whispered, his eyes staring intently at the mostly nude figure sitting before him.
"Yeah, So if you know a way to get shovels or anything, I'd be grateful," The Tarnished said.
"...I can help you, yes..." The man said before turning around and pointing at a ruined building behind him, "That there is the Church of Elleh, I will be waiting for you there in a week's time,"
The Tarnished stood up from the site of Grace and turned to look at the Church, "In a week, huh?"
"Indeed," The White-Masked man said, "By then I will have gathered what is needed to offer your maiden a proper burial,"
The Tarnished looked into the masked man's eyes and smiled widely. Pulling him into a hug and slapping him on the back.
"Thank you so much, Bro!" The Tarnished yelled, "If you need anything after this just give me a call or something!" He said happily before leaping off the short cliff and landing in a roll, his feet moving quickly to carry him in the direction of the Church of Elleh.
"...What a naive little lamb," The man whispered as soon as the Tarnished was too far away to hear before a singular drop of blood left his finger and landed on the ground, magically growing into a puddle large enough for him to stand inside.
And as the man slowly sank into the puddle of blood, his eyes never left the back of the new Tarnished he met.
Church Of Elleh
"Really Rustic, this place," The Tarnish whispered as he sat down at the Site of Grace, "Hey, What are you doing here?" He asked the red-clothed man sitting nearby.
"I am simply selling my wares," The man answered, his hands lowering the instrument he was playing so he could focus on The Tarnished.
"You selling stuff? You got anything to eat? I'm starving!" The Tarnished loudly said before moving to take a spot sitting in front of the Merchant.
"Haha, Sadly no. I do however recommend you get yourself a Crafting Kit, it is needed should anybody wish to survive in these lands." The Merchant showed him his stock.
After looking over his wares and checking with himself how many of the 'Runes' he had to spend, The Tarnished picked up a Crafting Kit, a Telescope, and the three available cookbooks.
"Pleasure doing business with you," The Merchant told him with a smile.
"Nah, Pleasure's all mind, Bro. Now I gotta go catch something to eat, see-ya!" The Tarnished said before running off.
"Ah... I was going to warn you to stay away from the Land Octopus..." Merchant Kalé said.
"Oh Well."
