Update time!

There will be a break for a couple weeks after this because I will have my exam retakes but for now, here's the chapter.

Pyrrha was shaking.

Her strongest familiar, Athenas, had just been defeated by a human.

It should have been impossible. The power Athenas wielded was said to be strong enough to endanger entire worlds, if used incorrectly. She had seen Athenas sink entire islands back on Graidya, and the only reason he was even her familiar was because of an ancient artefact which helped her tame him.

Yet, the emptiness and subtle drain she felt from the rune-stone meant to house Athenas, clearly told her that her strongest familiar had been defeated, and was now rebuilding its body.

She sighed a little.

At least he wasn't gone completely.

He body suddenly tensed in panic as she heard her team leader, and the person she came here to kill, shout at someone.

Was she found out?

She didn't dare to move from her hiding location, and have a look at what was happening there.

It would have certainly ended with her death.

Thankfully, the shouts didn't seem to be directed at her, as the voice she heard, despite clearly trying to talk to someone far away, wasn't coming any closer to her.

She tensed once again.

Did it mean there was yet another hero there?

She gulped as quietly as she could. There might have been entire streets between her and the two other heroes, but she didn't dare to test their hearing sense on her reactions.

Maybe it wasn't all lost, though.

If Jaune were to start fighting against the newly arrived hero, she would have the perfect opportunity to run away. At the very least, she should be able to change her hiding spot to something further away again, if a battle were to break out.

With a really shaky body and barely any confidence in her survival, she slowly started sneaking away from conflict behind her.

Every single step she took right now actively increased her chance at living past this night. The moment the fight started, and she would have to run, whether she lived or not would be decided solely by luck and her not getting hit by any stray attack.

She did everything she could to not scoff in anger at her own fragility.

Why Graidya couldn't have any decent way to increase her own strength?

She was her own weakness, while every other hero seemed to be a monster. The fact that there was another hero currently talking with Jaune behind her like that guy didn't just kill a legendary Guardian only made her fears even more real.

"Those two really are terrifying little monsters, aren't they?" A somewhat hoarse voice remarked from her left out of nowhere.

It took all of her will power, and more, not to jump and scream in fear for her life.

How did this person sneak up on her without neither her nor any of her familiars noticing?

They had to be another hero like her, as any ordinary person would have surely evacuated from Vale by now, if they were to witness the scuffle between her and Jaune from so close.

Why didn't he attack her, though?

She didn't waste any time contemplating those questions. Instead, she immediately reached for one of her rune-stones and summoned one of her familiars.

In an instant, a relatively small, at least when compared to her other familiars, canine with brightly burning fur appeared in front of her.

She gritted her teeth slightly. Gruwhund, might not have been one of her stronger familiars, but they should still be powerful enough to keep whoever the other hero was busy for a few seconds, and allow her to escape.

In the worst case scenario, she could just summon all of her familiars and try to take the newly arrived hero down. After having a closer look at him, she could tell that the other didn't seem quite as monstrous as the two heroes behind them, either.

Who knew, maybe she would even win a fight in this stupid war for once?

"Calm down a little, girl." The man said, while raising his hands a little to show he didn't have any weapons on him. "Neither of us wants to fight against anyone, right now."

She raised one of her eyebrows at the man, while still keeping herself behind Gruwhund.

The man sighed, turned his head slightly to the side, and pointed at the two other heroes, she was worried about, with his thumb.

"The moment our fight starts, and we make too much noise, those two would notice and get rid of us before starting their fight." The man looked her directly in the eyes. "I have no idea about you, but I probably wouldn't stand a chance against those two powerhouses in an open battle."

She shifted a little in place.

It was great to know that she wasn't the only one who considered those other heroes as monsters. Perhaps her chances at winning weren't as low as she thought they were.

None of that made her any less wary of the man before her, however.

"What do you want from me?" She asked with a frown.

The man smiled lightly.

"Talk." The man shrugged. "Pass some time. Try to get some information about my competition. Maybe even propose an alliance if you are willing to work with other heroes."

"An alliance?" She asked. "There can be only one winner in this war, and I doubt you, or anyone else, would be willing to doom the world they spent years saving. Besides, I don't even know who you are."

The man didn't seem concerned about her arguments.

"If these are all issues you have about forming an alliance with me, then I don't think working together will be too hard." The man said with a chuckle before extending his hand forward as if he was greeting her. "My name's Qrow Branwen, Ruby Rose's and Yang Xiao Long's cool uncle. You can ask them about me, if you want."

She looked at the man, Qrow, a little warily before taking a step back.

Just because he was willing to share his name with her didn't mean that Qrow was friendly. For all she knew, he had an ability to kill anyone as long as they knew his name and shook his hand.

After seeing how different Jaune's powers were to hers, she couldn't dismiss any possibility.

Besides, the man's name didn't answer the more pressing issue about forming an alliance with him.

"I see, just introducing myself is not enough." Qrow smiled slightly. "If you are worried about conflicting interests, then don't worry. Frankly, I would rather the world I've been sent to was destroyed. It wasn't a nice place to live."

Her eyes widened in surprise at Qrow's words.

"Wha-?" She started to ask before being interrupted by a loud explosion coming from the other two heroes currently in Vale's centre.

Qrow looked at the commotion behind them and hummed to himself.

"It looks like the time for our conversation's up." Qrow said as he opened a portal next to himself. "I would recommend running right now. If you want to talk more about an alliance between us, then tell my nieces you want to talk to me, both of them should be at Beacon by now."

She looked at Qrow as he entered the weird rift, that hurt to be near it.

"Oh, and don't worry about Yang!" Qrow shouted as the rift was closing. "I've made sure she was alright during your fight against the knight! She might be a bit shaken by all of that, though."

The rift closed and Pyrrha could no longer hear Qrow say anything.

She quietly sighed before shaking her head.

"Would you be so kind and let me ride you to safety, Gruwhund?" She asked her familiar.

Gruwhund nodded excitedly in response before barking once, and making the fire on their fur quickly become weaker and weaker, up until the point it was gone completely.

"Thank you." She said, as she sat on their back and let them carry her away from the fight.

No matter what was going to happen in that fight behind her, she wasn't going to risk her life to learn it.

(...)

Jaune warily observed the floating woman above him.

It was obvious she was another hero, level 89 simply didn't happen naturally on Remnant. Neither did the ability to fly with magical powers or real life magical girls capable of sneaking up on him for that matter.

He tightened his grip on his sword.

Was she here to battle him, or for something else?

"Are you here to fight or not!?" He shouted.

Whatever the reason for that magical girl to be here was, he would rather learn it quick, since his level is already falling back to 99. If he could get an answer quickly, he would be able to get one, maybe two, hits with raised level, at most.

"I'm certainly here to fight someone." The magical girl, Raven Branwen if his system was reading her name correctly, answered with a sneer.

At least he had got a confirmation that she wasn't here to help Ozpin. If she were, he would have been her only target here.

He pointed his sword at her.

"Give straight answer!" He shouted a bit louder than before. "Are you going to fight me or not!?"

The only answer he received was a scoff, and a barrage of magical projectiles flying at him after his now opponent twirled her magical staff a little.

"Alright, I see how it is." He murmured to himself before dashing backwards.

Not a second after he had moved away, the projectiles that had been fired at him, hit the ground causing a massive explosion of rubble, dust, and weirdly colourful magical energy.

The effects from this attack looked as if they were from some children cartoon.

He didn't waste any time admiring them, though.

Instead, he instantly lit up his sword with his own magical power, moved it down a little, and swung it upwards towards the sky to launch his own attack back.

{SKILL ACTIVATION: BLESSED SLASH}

A wide arc of white light soared through the air at speeds that would make bullets look slow.

Sadly, it was still too slow to hit Raven, who simply flew out of the way of his attack before launching another volley of her projectiles at him.

He clicked his tongue in annoyance at his missed attack, before quickly glancing back at his level. He was already back at his standard level 99, and his opponent seemed to be out of his reach.

With a swift movement, he dashed to the side, just as the projectiles closed in on him.

If there was any benefit to the current situation, it was certainly that dodging his enemy's projectiles currently appeared to be as easy for him as it was for her to dodge his.

Of course, it could change at any second if Raven had any other way of fighting at a distance. Despite his higher level and powerful Skills, he was still a close ranged fighter, and his opponent seemed to have the perfect range advantage on him.

A groan escaped him as he saw another wave of projectiles being thrown at him.

He wasn't going to get anywhere by simply dodging.

After a quick dash forward to dodge the flying projectiles, he charged his sword with magical power, raised it a little, and swung it down to launch himself closer to his flying opponent.

With his target being way smaller than the previous one, and him having to cross a bigger distance, moving like this was quite a risky strategy.

It was a pity that he couldn't really do anything else to get to his opponent.

As he rapidly approached his enemy, he managed to notice a small smirk forming its way onto her face. Seeing this, his mind immediately began to wonder about the reason behind this change in expression.

Did he run into some form of trap?

Was she amused from the futility of his attempt at an attack?

Did she simply find enjoyment in the fight?

Sadly, by the time he could think of any decent reason for that smile, he was already close enough to start attacking, and he couldn't miss that chance.

With a slight grunt, he quickly swung his sword, launching a Blessed Slash at Raven. Although, the previous one, was clearly ineffective at a distance, this one was launched so close to his foe, it would have to hit.

Despite him being right about his attack being too close to be dodged, his opponent still found a way to mitigate the damage it would cause to her by forming a magical barrier.

The barrier was thin, weak, and broke not two seconds after his attack made contact with it.

It was still enough for Raven to move away from it, though.

"I see we are getting up close and personal." Raven said, before pointing her wand forward and making a magic circle appear on its end.

Jaune instantly became tense, and moved his sword to block the attack.

A moment later, the giant beam of pink light was fired at him from the magic circle at the end of Raven's wand.

"Ghh-" He grunted in pain as he was sent flying to the ground by the powerful laser.

"That's not all!" Raven shouted as she came flying down with a rain of projectiles.

Seeing an attack coming his way, and not having the time to recover, he instantly slashed his sword towards it to retaliate at least a little.

When the two attacks met, they didn't collide with each other like one might expect, instead they merely passed each other by. His Blessed Slash wasn't wide enough to stop every falling projectile, and all the Raven's projectiles which met his attack weren't strong enough to stop it.

As a result, both he and his foe suffered some damage from this exchange.

He was bombarded by a multitude of projectiles, shaking him and making quite a few bruises on his body, while Raven was sent flying backwards after getting hit by the brunt of his Blessed Slash.

In the end, he would say he came out the better of both of them, however.

"Annoying." He heard Raven huff in pain above him. "It looks like I would really have to use that."

Wary of another attack, he quickly looked up to check what his enemy was doing.

To a small surprise of his, Raven, instead of launching another barrage of attacks at him, began slowly flying further away from him.

He gripped his sword a bit tighter, before preparing another Blessed Slash to be launched. Considering how most of Raven's attacks appeared to be long range, bigger distance would only work to his disadvantage here.

{SKILL ACTIVATION: BLESSED SLASH}

With a simple swing, he let his Skill activate and fire an arc of white light at his opponent.

It might not be the most effective at higher ranges, especially when his enemy was adept at dodging his attacks, but it should still prevent Raven from simply floating away from him, if only for a moment.

Predictably, he saw his attack being swiftly wove around by Raven, who didn't want to get hit head on by it.

Seeing this brief moment when his opponent was getting away from him, he decided to make use of it, and try launching himself at his enemy, the same way he had before.

Although Raven didn't try stopping him from hurling himself into the air, while he was in the air he did notice an intense bright light suddenly coming out of her as he was coming closer.

Not wanting to give his opponent a chance to finish whatever she was doing, he hastily swung his sword to interrupt her.

By the time his attack connected, however, it was already too late.

His sword, behind which was his nearly entire strength, was blocked by a small, toy-like, magical wand in the hands of Raven.

[RAVEN BRANWEN]

[LV 131]

He looked in bewilderment as his opponent's new for revealed itself to him.

The magical dress Raven was wearing changed to something longer, more regal. Her previously straight wild hair turned into more childish twin tails. On top of all of that, she also had become visibly younger, now looking barely a little older than him.

He gulped as he once more looked at his enemy's level.

She had also become way stronger.

"Hm, so this form is enough to match your power." Raven remarked before lifting one of her hands from her wand and pointing it at him. "Let's see how does it compare against your defence."

A small magic circle appeared at the tips of Raven's fingers, and the very next instant a spiral of magical energy was fired at him from point-blank range.

Suffice to say, he didn't come out of it as unscathed as he did from the previous one.

He was sent flying through the air, the magical power slowly drilling at his armour, making him hope with all his might that all the enchantments he put on it were strong enough to keep it together.

Before he could do something about this, and try to move out of the continuous attack's way, he saw Raven fly up to his right, and point her wand at him.

"Just Angel's Punishment Wave!" He heard Raven grumble in embarrassment as a surge of magical rings was launch at him from the side.

When the rings hit him, and met another magical attack drilling at him from the side, they caused a huge explosion of dust and bright flashing lights in the middle of the air.

Of course, he was right in the middle of it, and, as a result, he was sent plummeting down to the ground.

He was starting to feel all the damage on him from both the fight against Athenas and this. In spite of that, he could still confidently say that Raven's attack weren't yet powerful enough for his life to be in immediate danger.

Out of the corner of his eye, he saw Raven already arriving below him, and preparing another attack.

His sword lit up with his magical power. Well, just because his life wasn't currently at risk of being lost, didn't mean that he should just let his opponent wail on him without any resistance.

Just before he reached the perfect distance for his opponent to launch another attack at him, he quickly spun around and fired his own Blessed Slash at her.

He had no idea how effective it would be, now that Raven was in a different form, but it should still make her stagger a little. It would also put some distance between him and the attack she would launch at him.

Surprisingly, his Blessed Slash was strong enough for Raven to discard her attack and focus on defending against it, instead.

Seeing a magical barrier of multiple magic circle being formed solely to block one of his attacks made Jaune blink a little in confusion. It wasn't the first Blessed Slash that had managed to hit Raven, so why was she so focused on stopping it from hitting her?

Was the previous one so harmful to her that she was wary of them now?

Suddenly, a moment of realisation came over Jaune, and a wide grin appeared on his face.

"So, you aren't as pure and just as I thought you were, magical girl." He murmured to himself before lighting his sword again with a smile.

What sort of adversaries he had in this war if a literal magical girl was less heroic than a monster he had just slew, though?

He hit the ground with a loud thump sound and, just as Raven dealt with one of his Blessed Slashes, he launched another one at her.

Raven grumbled something to herself before gracefully jumping over his attack with her ability to fly. The damage he dealt to her aside, he still had to hit the damned woman to accomplish anything.

While she was in the air, he noticed Raven widely waving her wand at him, likely to fire some sort of projectiles at him.

Knowing that he didn't want to increase the distance between them, he quickly dashed to the side, not away, to avoid the majority of the shots. Taking a couple hits was worth it if he had another chance to hit her with his own attack.

Rubble and dust flew into the air as the magical projectiles hit the ground.

As the few projectiles he didn't dodge hit him, he was forced to take a couple steps back, as well, because of the strength they had carried.

He didn't bother to wait until the dust and the rubble fell down for better visibility, and as his sword glowed with magical power, he swung it roughly in the direction he knew Raven was.

As luck would have it, his aim was correct, and not a moment later Raven found herself facing his Blessed Slash head on.

There wasn't enough time for it to be dodged, so he knew his opponent would have to try blocking it.

A smirk appeared on his face as he saw a glowing magical barrier appear in front of the arc of light he fired.

Not wanting to waste any time and give Raven a chance to put some distance between them, he immediately shot off towards her with all his speed. If an attack from this distance was enough to stop Raven in place for a second, then one delivered from closer should do some actual damage.

It didn't even take a single second for him to arrive next to Raven, and by the time he had done it, his original slash had already dissipated.

This didn't change the fact that he was now in a perfect position to unleash his power upon her.

With a swift movement, he quickly reached for two of the rings he had hanging on his neck. After using them he would only have nine of them left, but his current opponent was a strong one, and an occasion like this was perfect to finish the fight.

He crushed both the rings he took out without any hesitation.

{LEVEL UP!}
{LEVEL UP!}
{LEVEL UP!}
{...}

"Crud!" Raven cursed as she noticed him preparing for a stronger attack.

She instantly started to fly away from him with all the speed she could muster.

It didn't matter.

With his level jumping from 99 directly to 134, it was only natural that the speed and range of his attack would increase as well.

He raised his sword above his head.

It shined with blinding white light, any fool would be able to see the power behind it.

"No, no, no." Raven began frantically creating multiple magical barriers in front of her.

A single layer of barrier became two.

Then five.

Then a dozen.

By the time he had concentrated all of his newfound power into his sword, there were more than twenty-eight layers of different barriers between him and his target.

It all didn't even took a single second. There was no telling what sort of impenetrable shield Raven would have been able to put up to defend herself, if given more than a single moment to do so.

His sword exploded with blinding white light.

He didn't care.

With a simple movement of his leg, he shot himself forwards at the speed so high, the sound itself seemed to be standing in place compared to him.

He saw Raven gulp quietly in worry as he appeared in front of the outmost layer of her barrier in an instant.

With the determination to break through all the defences in front of him and finally eliminate the first hero of this insane war, he swung his sword down with the power of 134 levels being channelled through it.

{SKILL ACTIVATION: BLESSED SLASH}

The first layer of the magical barrier broke before the Skill even left his sword.

Another six fell just the same.

"Crud!" Raven shouted in panic as she saw her defences fall in an instant.

The next dozen or so layers were fractured in less than an instant.

Only the last couple of defences put up any resistance, at all, but even with all of them combined the attack he had just launched wasn't impeded for more than a single second.

"NO!" He heard Raven scream as the Blessed Slash collided with her.

The next moment, an enormous explosion of blinding white light erupted in the place of the collision, lighting up the entire remains of Vale's centre and making this night brighter than any day in history.

This explosion was so grand and powerful that even he was pushed back a good couple dozens of meters away.

He was pretty sure, he could feel the power of that attack in his bones.

Yet, as he observed the effects his Blessed Slash had on Raven, and saw the light continue to flare up further and further instead of dying out, he couldn't help but frown a little.

It wasn't how this Skill was supposed to work.

He widened his eyes in realisation.

"Damn it!" He cursed before lighting his sword up with power once more and launching another Blessed Slash at his foe.

That could end up being very bad for him.

His second Blessed Slash moved through the air almost laughably slowly when compared to the previous one. Its power wasn't anything comparable to that previous attack, either, as it was launched hurriedly and with the intention to interrupt rather than hurt.

As if helped by some divine intervention, it somehow managed to reach its target without any issues.

The moment it hit that target, however, he learned that it was simply because it didn't matter.

[RAVEN BRANWEN, THE NASCENT MAGICAL GODDESS]

[LV 213]

Raven was already transformed.

Her magical dress was longer than she was tall now, it was so long in fact that despite floating good couple meters above the ground, a good part of it was still laying on the ground. Her hair was in a similar situation, being so long it almost touched the ground and stylised to look as if belonging to some fairy tale princess

A magical fairy tale princess was actually a good way to describe Raven as a whole now, as even her apparent age seemed to reflect that tittle, with her looking like a barely teenager as well.

The only thing breaking that image was the ancient looking staff in her hand that seemed to have replaced the toy-like magical wand, she had been using before.

"I despise this form." Raven said with a tone that sounded both childlike and noble, before sighing. "Sadly, it appears that it is my only way to acquire victory against you, valiant knight."

She lazily raised her staff, before pointing it at him.

A small pink magic circle appeared on its end.

The next moment, an infinitely thin beam of light was launch from it.

It didn't take an instant for this beam to reach him, and the moment it did, his shoulder was pierced through as it wasn't even there.

"W-What?" He grunted at the stinging pain he felt from the wound.

Raven hummed a little as she looked at him with interest.

"I see, even the most basic of my projectiles are enough to finish you off, right now." Raven said softly as nearly a hundred tiny magical circles appeared around her. "It's a pity that I am not surprised by it."

Jaune looked at the attack Raven prepared with fear in his eyes.

The moment she launched it, he was going to die.

There was no doubt about it. Each of those lasers was too fast for him to dodge, and too powerful for him to tank through them. With so many of them aimed at him, he would end up with so many holes in him, he would die.

He quickly shifted his feet a little, and gritted his teeth.

One of his hands moved directly towards his neck, and reached for all the rings he had hanging on it left.

There were only nine of those rings left, and he had no idea what level would he reach if he crushed all of them at the same time.

If he didn't use them, he would certainly end up dead, however.

With a decided movement, and no hesitation, he immediately crushed all the rings in his hand.

{LEVEL UP!}
{LEVEL UP!}
{LEVEL UP!}
{...}

At once, level ups began piling onto him, as his level continued to rise.

He had no idea when it would stop, or if it would be enough to have a higher level than his opponent, but he had no intention of waiting in place to find out.

Raven raised one of her eyebrows at his sudden boost in power before firing the first couple beams at him.

He shot off towards her.

Despite the continuously increasing levels, the lasers were still too fast for him to avoid.

The damage dealt by them did become far more bearable, though.

As he ran towards Raven, his body was constantly being pierced and assaulted by a multitude of lasers.

One of them pierced through his leg.

Another one hit his stomach.

Yet another one clipped his ear.

By the time he reached her, he had more than a dozen of new holes and wounds all over his body. The fantasy armour he was wearing nearly turned red from all the blood he was spilling on it.

"You cannot be serious." Raven said with a hollow laugh as she noticed him jumping towards her with his sword glowing with power.

A beautiful crystal-like barrier of magic quickly formed itself between them as Raven hurriedly brought up some protection for herself. Despite how hastily it was created, the barrier looked as if it wouldn't budge even if a meteor were to smash into it.

"Arghhh!" He shouted as he put all the strength he had into his weapon.

The light around his sword shined so brightly, people would go blind if they tried to look at it without any eye protection, and the magical power inside it was strong enough to cause a missive hurricane by simply existing.

With a twist of his entire body, and at the last possible moment, he finally delivered his slash.

{SKILL ACTIVATION: TRUE DIVINE SLASH}

The moment his sword touched the barrier in front of him, the entire Vale lit up in an explosion of multicoloured light.

Reality itself appeared to collapse as the unstoppable force of his slash met the immovable object that was Raven's crystal barrier.

Time and space began distorting themselves, turning a momentary collision into an eternal struggle between his and his opponent's magical powers. Each and every instant felt like decades of battle.

Throughout the struggle, Jaune couldn't help but grin, as the first cracks started to appear on the crystal barrier.

He was so close to breaking through, literal millimetres!

Yet, as his levels began to stabilise, and the power behind his swing started to die out, he came to a sorrowful realisation.

He wasn't strong enough.

After finally absorbing all the divinity he had stored in his rings, his level had stopped at 191, and with his power not raising any more, there was no way for him to get through the wall before him.

A sad sigh escaped him as his power began to die out.

This was his end.

He would have chuckled and reminisced about everything that led him to this moment, but he could already see hundreds, if not thousands, magic circles forming all around him.

"Good night, valiant knight." He heard his final opponent say with a sigh. "It was a great battle."

Before he could even blink, all of them had fired, ending his life in an instant.

At least his life ended in a bang.

(...)

Raven was heaving.

The knight boy, she had just defeated, was way stronger than any Monstrosity she had ever fought back on Magia.

She would dare to say, the boy would have been strong enough to save that damned world himself if she wasn't chosen as its hero.

It was a pity, he ended up being her first enemy. If anything, a grand battle like that would have fitted more for the final fight of this damned war, and she certainly wouldn't have minded fighting some other worse heroes first.

A sigh left her.

Well, it wasn't like she could choose her opponents any more.

Considering how noticeable and destructive her fight was, she was probably going to be the main target for every hero coming to Vale, and all the ones who were here already, as well, knowing her.

It might actually be a good idea to go into hiding now.

"I suppose, I-" She started to say to herself when a giant rift to a place mortal minds couldn't comprehend opened below her. "I can't believe you are doing this to me, my dear brother."

Countless tentacles with eyes and teeth on them came out of that rift and instantly started dragging her into it.

She might have struggled or tried to defend herself, but she didn't bother.

She was spent after the fight she had against the knight, and if Qrow could simply create such a rift right under her, then he would surely be capable of creating another one in a place she dodged to.

In the end, the best thing she could do was to allow herself to get dragged there and simply deal with all the horrors her brother wanted to throw at her at once.

It didn't mean she wasn't annoyed by it, however.

She didn't know how long would it take her to leave whatever dimension she was being dragged was, but the moment she left, she was going to enjoy getting her revenge on her stupid younger brother.

(...)

All over Remnant people were watching their scrolls and televisions with fear, anger, and pity in their gazes.

The terrible incident that destroyed nearly half of Vale, one of the biggest cities in the world, wasn't a secret and practically all news outlets on Remnant were currently trying to cover what had happened there.

"...currently the exact number of casualties is unknown, but the experts estimate tens of thousands of deaths and even more people injured." The forcefully calm tone of the news presenter echoed throughout many households around the world. "An uncountable amount of people found themselves with no homes, and the Valean authorities are already setting up refugee camps all around the city."

To say the people of Vale had been terrified would have been a understatement, even the tragedy at Mountain Glenn wasn't considered as big tragedy as whatever had just happened was.

Nobody knew what was happening, and the witnesses' statements ranged from fantasy stories becoming real, to the prophesied end times approaching and the Brother Gods returning.

In reality, across the entire world there were only eleven people left who knew what had really happened, and all of them were already preparing themselves for another one of such events.

"The Atlesian General, James Ironwood, claims the tragedy of central Vale was caused by a dispute in an eleven-person secret terrorist organisation called 'Other World'." The reporter read from a newly received paper. "He also heavily recommends leaving Vale for the foreseeable future, and asks that anyone who witnessed someone display any unnatural or fantastical abilities reports them to Atlas."

Countless people watched the news with fear for their futures as the news reporter began talking about Atlas forces arriving in Vale.

Whatever was happening, it looked like Vale was going to be in a terrible danger.

And cut.

Jaune is dead. Raven is trapped who knows where. And Vale about to become the centre of all the action.

Have to say, I really enjoyed writing Jaune's fights with the whole level ups and gamer-lite system, maybe sometime later I will try to write some Gamer fic, as well.

Who knows?

Anyway that's it for now, I will also give a file for Raven's world.

See ya!
