Good evening,
I forgot to mention what each color of Alucard and Sebastian's aura means in the last chapter.
Alucard - minimal red (physically grounded), maximal yellow (high self esteem), minimal green (in love with someone who balances him out), minimal blue (protects others), maximal purple (intuitive), maximal black (grief), minimal grey (depression).
Sebastian - minimal red (physically grounded), maximal yellow (high self esteem), minimal green (in love with someone who balances him out), minimal blue (protect others), maximal indigo (see past deceit), minimal purple (intuitive), maximal brown (self absorbed), maximal black (evil).
Here's what Seras' aura would look like: maximal orange (cares about family and friends), maximal yellow (playful spirit), minimal green (loving heart), maximal blue (protect others), minimal pink (gentle), maximal black (anger and grief), maximal deep red (inner warrior and physically grounded), maximal dull red (anger), maximal grey (low self esteem and depression), maximal lemon yellow (afraid to lose a loved one).
The reason why some colors are more minimal than others is because of how strong the meanings of the others are. Example: Seras has minimal green (loving heart) but a maximal black (anger and grief). I'm not saying that Seras doesn't have a loving heart, she does. But her anger and grief are showing more; it's overcoming the green, which is why there's minimal of that color. As for Alucard and Sebastian, they have minimal red (physically grounded) because some people (like Seras) are a little more grounded than they are. Alucard and Sebastian have an air about them that they don't really care, especially for human trivial things, while Seras is all too aware of the horrors (not that Alucard/Sebastian aren't aware but don't care) of the world because she's still traumatized by her past. She's a little more grounded than them (in my opinion), especially since Alucard is a little psychotic.
Here is where I got my source for the colors: Color Meanings "22 Aura Colors & Their Meanings: How To Interpret Your Aura" by Jacob Olesen.
I don't know a lot about auras or the meanings of their colors. I'm not saying Jacob's meanings are accurate, but I followed his interpretation on it.
Anyway, I hope you enjoy.

Ghosts from the Past
Part Two
"Oh, God! Seras!" The voice of a crying mother haunted Alucard. He could still hear the ghostly woman sobbing as she stood over her dying daughter. He could still see her blue eyes filled with tears and the raspy sounds of her breath as it kept getting hitched in her throat. "Please, save her! Save my daughter, please! Please! Please! Please!" The woman begged him. Would that voice forever haunt him?
"You shot her!" An angry male interrupted the sobbing woman, the father of the dying girl. "You didn't have to…Why did you shoot her?! Why?! You fucking bastard! You god damn, fucking monster! How could you have shot her?!" The entire time Alucard and Sebastian refused to acknowledge the panicked couple; they never paid any mind to ghosts. All the dark haired males could focus on was their dying mate.
"Save her! Please, save her!" The woman proceeded to beg through her heavy sobs.
"Don't you fucking touch her! You've done enough! Just leave her be!" The father screamed at them.
"Jonathan, she's dying!" Morgan hollered, furious with her husband for trying to dissuade the monster from saving Seras.
"Maybe that's for the best!" The father retorted. "You know what he is! You know what she'll become if he saves her! What kind of life is that for our daughter?! It'll be a living hell! How could you possibly want that for her?!" Alucard had ignored the bickering couple. With his mind already made up long before he ever shot her, he acted and saved the girl from the clutches of death.
"God, thank you. Thank you. Thank you so much." The grateful woman thanked him repeatedly as the father stared on in horror.
"You killed her." Jonathan whispered. "You've…corrupted her soul. You killed her." The man shook his head as he watched the vampire feed from his daughter's veins. "No. No. What she'll become…That thing…It'll look like my daughter, my Seras, but…it won't be her. You killed her. You killed her. That's not my daughter."
What that man said had stuck with Alucard ever since that night. And here Seras was, trying desperately to find her mother and father to find closure. But Alucard knew Sebastian was right. If the fledgling ever found what she was looking for, if she ever saw the disgust or disappointment in her father's eyes, it may just kill her. She will not reach closure; she will only find pain and anger. There is also the issue of her blaming herself when realizing her parents never found peace and weren't in heaven. The demon had promised Seras' mother that they would help their mate find closure without her ever meeting with her parents.
After not finding her parents anywhere in the manor, Alucard and Sebastian found her crying in her room. The fledgling looked so confused and wounded that she wasn't able to find them. It broke their hearts seeing how upset she looked. Entering the room, the mentors slowly approached the fragile girl who sat at her table.
"Seras," Sebastian whispered as he knelt down in front of her. Placing one hand on her knee, his other hand swept up to cup the side of her face. His thumbs moved over her soft flesh, hoping to soothe her some.
"I don't understand why they're not here." Seras muttered while she stared intently at her table, deep in her own thoughts. "I know it sounds foolish, but…I thought that they would be…here with me."
"It's not foolish." The demon whispered. The Draculina finally shifted her head to glance down at him.
"Maybe I'm looking in the wrong spots. Maybe…they're elsewhere." She considered while hope shone in her eyes.
"Seras, I don't think it's a good idea to continue looking for them." Sebastian whispered with a frown. "I just don't want you to be disappointed in the end if you can't find them."
"But what if I do find them, Sebastian?" Seras asked as she gave him a small smile. The happy girl leaned forward to cup his face in her soft hands. Lovingly, she ran her thumbs over his cheeks. "There is a chance I will find them."
"I just don't want you to end up disappointed." The demon repeated softly as his frown deepened.
"Thank you for being concerned, but I will be fine." Seras promised before she leaned in the rest of the way to place a kiss on his forehead. Sebastian automatically closed his eyes while he instinctively leaned further up into that small, tender kiss.
"Seras," He breathed her name.
"Sebastian, I have a place in mind but…I'm afraid to go alone." The Draculina admitted to him. The demon pulled his head back to look up at her once more.
"What are you talking about?" He asked.
"What place, Draculina?" Alucard questioned. The little vampire nervously bit her bottom lip as more tears formed in her stunning eyes.
"The place they died." She was barely able to get the answer out. Afterwards, she glanced down at her lap. "I…want to go back. I think their souls might be trapped there."
"Seras," Sebastian spoke but was at a loss of words. He was only capable of shaking his head at her for a short few seconds. He then dropped his head and sighed deeply. "I really don't think that's a good idea. It could only cause you more pain being in the place that is the heart of your trauma."
"I will be facing my trauma head on." Seras corrected him as she looked back at the disappointed demon. "It could help bring me closure…going back to that place." Sebastian glanced back up at his determined mate. She looked so confident in her little theory, but he had his doubts. He was positive that it would cause more pain and even a panic attack. However, he knew how stubborn his mate was. If Alucard and him told her no, she would just go all by herself, which could lead to disaster. But if they take her themselves, they'll at least be able to support her and help calm her down if a panic attack happens. There was also a chance, a very small chance, that Seras is right and it might help her find closure. Utterly defeated, Sebastian once more dropped his head.
"Alright," He whispered reluctantly. "Alucard and I will take you, but please don't get your hopes up, Seras. Your parents are probably not there." He knew for a fact they weren't there, but he couldn't tell her that. He promised her mother that he would lie to spare her feelings and memories of them.
Minutes later, Seras' heart began to race when she was standing on a very familiar street in front of a very familiar house. There was a 'For Sale' sign in the overgrown yard, making it abundantly clear that nobody has lived there in quite some time. Seras had to wonder if it was because of what happened ten years ago. Who would want to live in a murder house? Her eyes trailed over the sad, white house that hadn't been properly taken care of. There was a broken window on the first floor. If she wasn't mistaken, that window belonged to the room that was once known as her parents' bedroom. Before approaching the worn down house, the Draculina cautiously looked around her. Her eyes scanned the other dark houses, waiting to see if one of the residents would notice her and her mentors. She definitely didn't want the Police getting called while she was trying to explore her first childhood home. When not seeing a soul in sight, Seras glanced up at her mentors who stood off to the side a few feet from her. From the corner of his eye Sebastian noticed the movement. Instinctively, the demon shifted his head to glance down at her.
"Are you ready?" He asked softly. There was an unfamiliar look in his eyes, but Seras was able to identify it as sympathy. Unable to find her voice she gave him a simple nod of her head. "Come on," He whispered. The demon then took the lead and made his way to the house. The two vampires proceeded to stand there; one too afraid to move while the other waited patiently. Alucard stared at her in consideration for a short moment. He watched as she kept her eyes glued to the ground and took a few deep breaths. Finally, when she was actually ready to face her trauma, she moved towards the old house. Her master followed close behind. Using only a fraction of his strength, Sebastian broke the front door's lock by twisting the knob. He then pushed the door open, revealing a spacious, but dark and dirty foyer. Taking a step off to the side, the demon glanced back at his mate. Once more the males waited patiently for the fledgling to move and take her first step into the house after so many years. For a brief moment, Seras was frozen on the porch. Her eyes were wide and her face was pale. She already looked like she was off in a distant memory, lost in pain, misery, and anger. Sebastian frowned while he reconsidered their situation.
"Seras," The demon whispered before he placed a hand on her shoulder. "You don't have to go in. We can leave right now." He hoped his words would coax her, even though he knew how stubborn his bride was. Seras blinked several times as she emerged from those dark memories and returned to the present. When his words reached her, she instantly glanced up at him in bewilderment. "Seras, I don't think this is a good idea. Let's go home. If you want, we can talk thoroughly about…what happened and you can have a good cry. But going into this house…I don't think it'll help."
"Sebastian, I have to do this." Seras whispered. "I'm…tired of letting this haunt me. I want to face it and just…get through it. Please." The little vampire slipped a hand over his as she pleaded with him with her eyes. "Please stay and…help me through it. I really, really need you both right now. Please." The demon sighed through his nose and frowned in disapproval.
"Of course we'll stay," Sebastian responded. "But if it becomes too much for you, please tell us."
"Okay," Seras whispered. She then glanced back at the foyer. Finding her courage, she stepped into the house. Roughly ten to fifteen feet from the front door was the stairs. Just past the stairs was the dining room, kitchen and small bathroom. To Seras' left were two different doors that were at least fifteen to twenty feet apart. The first door led to the living room where they normally sat and watched the telly or play board games. The second door led to what used to be her dad's office. To Seras' right was a single door that led to what was once known as the family room. In her family, it also used to be known as the 'quiet room'. Whenever someone needed quiet or space, they would go to the family room to read a book or listen to music.
Funnily enough, her parents never used it. Her dad had his office when he wanted to be alone and her mum would read in her bedroom when she needed quiet. The only time it was known as the 'quiet room' was when Seras was throwing a tantrum. One of her parents would carry her into the room, sit her down in a big, brown recliner, and try different ways to get her to calm down. She would be instructed to stare out the window and count the number of cars or birds she saw go by. Or she would have to sit with her eyes closed and listen to music. Or she would be given a picture book to look at to help soothe her. Eventually, Seras was trained to go into the room on her own when she was feeling angry or annoyed and work on calming herself down.
Unfortunately, all those tactics her parents taught her didn't stick. After their death, Seras was angry all the time. Nothing could calm her in the slightest. And whenever she tried, she was always bothered or bullied by someone. Once she had tried reading a book after getting made fun of by other kids. But, while she was trying to calm down and read, an older boy had snatched the book from her hands and tore the pages out of it. Seras responded by getting into a physical fight with the kid, which resulted in her getting her ass kicked for the very first time.
"Seras?" Sebastian interrupted those memories. The Draculina shifted her head, but didn't bother looking over her shoulder at him.
"It…happened in here." Seras whispered and pointed at the door on her right. She slowly looked back at the door. "My dad was…getting something from the kitchen. And my…mum and I were in here. She…was reading to me because I was…upset."
"Why were you upset?" Alucard asked.
"Because…my mum and dad got into a fight. They rarely ever fought, and…hearing them yell at each other…It scared me so badly that I started to cry." The Draculina answered softly.
"Do you recall what they were fighting about?" Sebastian asked.
"A little," Seras whispered and licked over her lips. "Mum was scared. She wanted to leave the house but Dad…" She struggled to remember the argument from so long ago. "Dad said we had to wait one more day."
"Why did he want to wait? What scared your mother?" Alucard asked.
"Dad went undercover and got involved with something or someone. Mum was terrified that people were going to come after us. We were supposed to be relocated, but…" The fledgling trailed off.
"But it was a day too late." Sebastian finished for her. "The day of their argument is when they were killed, weren't they?" Instead of answering, Seras finally turned to face the door that led to the family room. Hesitantly, she reached out to grab the knob and she slowly turned it. The door squeaked as it was pushed open all the way. Moonlight was pouring into the room from the window on the right. It lit up the room that still appeared in her nightmares. On the far end, on the left side of the room, was the closet she had hid in while her parents were murdered. She couldn't take her eyes off of the closet; the place where her claustrophobia was born.
"When Dad told her he wanted to wait one more day, Mum threatened to leave the house with me. I think that's when I started to cry. I couldn't understand why Mum was so angry at Dad. I couldn't understand why she wanted to take me away from my father. At the time, it felt like a punishment. I thought…she was being mean and overreacting. But…now I understand why. She was just scared for her child. Dad…should've listened to her. He should have agreed with her. Unfortunately, my crying sealed their fucking fate. Instead of being able to talk it through and sort it out, before either of them could convince the other of what should be done, I bawled and their argument was put on hold so they could calm me down. Mum carried me in here and started to read to me while my dad went to get me a glass of water."
"Seras, by what you're telling us, there's no possible way your parents would have had time to sort it out." Sebastian explained to her. Seras glanced back at him. "The person or people who killed your parents came shortly after you started crying. Rather your parents did come to a conclusion in their argument or not, it would have been too late. The killers were already here. Your bawling didn't seal their fate. You're in no way at fault for what happened. If anything, what you did was good because it bought you some time with your mother before her untimely death."
The Draculina gave him a small smile, grateful to him for making her see it in a different perspective. Looking back at the room, she finally decided to enter it. Every step she took she heard footsteps behind her. Her eyes searched the room, looking for the familiar faces of her parents. But the room was completely empty and the house was quiet. Were they not here? The smile on her face shifted into a deep frown.
"What happened next?" Alucard asked. Seras' eyes immediately flickered to the right where a big recliner used to be. It's where her mum and her were sitting when it all started.
"My dad ran into the room looking so scared. He said that he saw someone with a gun in the backyard. Mum wanted to run out the front door, go to the neighbors, and call the police. But Dad didn't want her to because he didn't know if anyone was waiting for them out in the front yard. So, he told her to hide me. While Dad went to go get his gun, Mum hid me in the closet." Seras pointed towards the closet to her left. "I don't know all of what happened. I know that my mum wanted to call the police, but the landline was in the kitchen. Dad had her stay in here while he tried to sort out the mess. But…one of the men…they must have heard her sobbing because…they kicked in this door."
"I remember hearing my mum scream in terror and my dad yelled her name. The man…then threatened to shoot my mum…if my dad didn't throw down his gun. While the second guy pushed my dad into this room, the other guy…He threw my mum against the wall and told her to shut her mouth. I remember hearing the loud thuds and my mum crying. I had to cover my mouth tightly just to keep from whimpering. I was so terrified. Those men then took turns punching and kicking my dad, calling him horrible names and telling him that he got exactly what he deserved. And then…they shot him."
Slowly, Seras turned to look behind her at the wall by the door. All she could picture was her father slumped against the wall, an absolute bloody mess. The Draculina shuddered as hot tears pricked at her eyes. Trembling, Seras turned to look back at the closet as she remembered hearing the noises that were to come after her father's death. "They then slapped around my mum. They fisted her hair and slammed her head against the wall…and they would laugh. She cried and begged, but they laughed. And then they shot her. They put a bullet in her head." The Draculina paused for a moment to get her emotions back under control while she eyed the spot where her mum died.
"After hearing those gunshots…something…shattered inside of me. Even though I wasn't sure of what happened, a part of me knew. I was so scared but somehow I found the will to move. I took a step out of the closet and saw it all. The room was a mess. Furniture was knocked over. Family pictures were covered in blood. My parents were dead. And the murderers were just…standing there, laughing and joking. In that moment, I was filled with rage. I…I don't think I had ever felt so angry in my life." Seras then paused her story once again to shift her head. She stared at the wall next to the closet. Alucard and Sebastian also glanced at the wall when their mate pointed at it.
"There used to be a floating shelf on this wall. It had boxes and books on top of it. My mum had her fancy silverware in one of those boxes. She only ever used it for holidays or guests. When those men kept slamming my mum up against the wall, all the stuff on the shelf came crashing down on the floor. Her silverware set was nearly all out of the box." Seras' eyes flickered back to the closet. "When I stepped out of the closet and saw everything. When I was overcome by such anger…all I could think about was…revenge. All I wanted in that blur of a moment was to kill the men who killed my parents. What happened next…it happened so fast. I remember it, but I don't remember…forcing myself to act. Before I really knew it, I was picking a fork up off the floor and…I was running at one of the men."
Alucard and Sebastian watched her as they waited for her to finish telling them what happened. Currently, their mate was frozen. She was holding one of her hands out partially. Her fingers were curled, acting as if she was holding an object. Perhaps a fork? Sebastian considered as he studied her behavior. He raised a brow while his eyes took her all in. She stared at the wooden floorboards. He could only assume that it was the original flooring too since, where her father and mother supposedly died, the flooring was warped and discolored. It made him wonder how long it was before Seras and her parents were discovered. It was apparent that someone at some point had tried scrubbing the blood out of the floor, most likely having used bleach, but alas, the floors had already been damaged by the pools of blood. The demon's attention was drawn back to his mate when she slowly lowered her hand.
"I plunged the fork into his eye." Seras whispered, her voice cracking. "I heard him scream. I saw the blood and knew the pain I inflicted…but it wasn't enough. It didn't…calm or satisfy me at all. I only grew angrier." As tears dripped down her face, her stomach churned. She felt sick, like at any moment she would double over and heave.
"And then?" Alucard asked. But his mate didn't answer. Seras' weak knees trembled as she tried blocking out the rest of those memories. "You plunged the fork in one of the murderer's eyes. You were defenseless and angry. Did you run?"
"No," Seras barely got the word out. The fledgling started shaking her head as she sobbed.
"Did you pull the fork out and try stabbing him again?" Her master asked another question, wanting to hear the rest. Unable to find her voice, his sobbing mate closed her eyes and shook her head.
"I hesitated," She answered after a moment. "And I got shot."
"Seras," Sebastian whispered, thinking it was best to stop before the memories could further upset her. But she proceeded on as if he hadn't said anything.
"After I stabbed him, he retaliated by violating my mum's corpse!" Seras cried hard and uncontrollably. Those hot tears burned her eyes and made her vision blurry. But she was in far too much pain to wipe them away. With her shaking hands balled into fists, she kept them glued to her sides. Closing her eyes, she could see and hear it all so clearly. "God, I feel so fucking sick!" She heard footsteps behind her.
"Seras," Sebastian whispered. He reached out a hand, but she stepped away before he could touch her.
"Where are they, Sebastian?!" The Draculina exclaimed as she spun around the room, looking for the spirits of her parents. When not seeing them, the girl raced out of the room. "They have to be here!"
"Seras," The demon called for his upset mate as she started searching the house for the spirits. "I knew that this was a bad idea." He muttered to Alucard as he passed the tall vampire. The dark haired males left the room to follow their mate through the house. "You need to stop, darling. You're only getting yourself more worked up." He watched as the anxious fledgling went room to room. Each time she didn't see who she was looking for she would only grow angrier. When checking the last room on the ground floor, Seras gritted her teeth and slammed her hand against the doorframe.
"No! I refuse to believe that they're not here! They have to be here! Where else would they be?!" The little vampire raised her voice as her blue eyes shifted to a dark red. Planning to run upstairs, Seras turned but was immediately stopped when one of her mates grabbed her by the shoulders.
"Seras, stop!" The demon demanded, sounding harsher than he would have liked. "This is not helping you!"
"Michaelis is right. You can't keep chasing spirits. It will drive you mad and bring more pain." Alucard agreed.
"Be honest. Did coming here help or hinder you?" Sebastian asked as he kept a firm grip on her shoulders. "To me it seemed like being here only reopened old wounds. You don't look better and I'm positive you don't feel better either. The only thing this place is doing is hurting you and causing you to lose your temper." As if what he said offended her, she grimaced and glowered at the floor. "I don't want you to be hurt or angry. Please, let's leave."
"But…what about my parents?" Seras asked in a whisper. "All I wanted was to say goodbye to them." Her voice cracked once again while fresh tears trailed down her pale cheeks.
"I know, darling." Sebastian whispered with a small frown of sorrow. To help soothe his mate, he cupped her cheek and used his thumb to brush her tears away. "I know," He then leaned in and kissed her forehead to further ease her. "I'm sorry, but they're not here." When he told her this, the little vampire closed her eyes and cried a little harder.
"What if…they're ashamed of me?" The fledgling cried. "What if they're angry that I'm a monster and…they don't love me anymore? Maybe that's why I can't find them, because they don't want to be with me."
"Seras," The demon whispered as his hand smoothed across her face to cup the back of her head. As he gently pulled on her head, Seras didn't hesitate lunging forward the rest of the way to hug him tightly. Deeply upset by the thoughts and memories that haunted her, the Draculina cried heavily in his chest. "Darling," Sebastian carefully wrapped his arms around her and let her cry it out. He yearned to tell her the truth; to recite what her mother told him a little more than two hours ago. It was true, her father was disappointed and said hurtful things about her while Alucard was transforming her. But her mother was only hiding from Seras to keep her safe. The mother was afraid her daughter would only come to blame herself for them not being at peace. Not to mention, she was afraid Seras would learn of her father's true feelings to her being a vampire. All she wanted was for her daughter to find closure without having to talk to them. Sighing, the demon decided to lie as her mother requested of him.
"Have you considered that you haven't been able to find them because they're in heaven? I told you earlier that those who are at rest and are in heaven are unable to return to earth as a spirit. Perhaps your parents are one of the few lucky souls who found peace?" Sebastian gave his mate something he hoped she would consider and accept. Hopefully she'll never learn the truth and discover that he had tried deceiving her.
"I don't know," Seras whispered. "I hope that they did find peace, but…"
"But what?" He asked when she didn't finish.
"But there's a pit in my stomach. I just…have this…strong feeling that…they're still here…somewhere. I just…can't find them." The fledgling answered, though she struggled to explain how she was feeling. "I know it sounds ridiculous. But after they died, I…had this feeling, this sensation of a familiar presence, and believed it was my parents; that they were with me. I still feel it. But…" Again, their mate trailed off as she gathered her thoughts and feelings. "Maybe…I was just trying to make myself feel better. Maybe my grief tricked me into believing that I still felt their presence here with me." The demon wondered how accurate that feeling actually was. Was her grief too heavy and in order to comfort and heal herself, she deceived herself into believing their souls were still with her? Or had she actually sensed their souls with her? Was she still able to feel them?
"Is there any other way for you to find closure, darling?" Sebastian asked, changing the subject in hope she doesn't figure out the truth. He needed to help her find closure; to put this nightmare behind her. Perhaps he will do extensive research to see how humans normally find closure. He felt her anger. The little monster in his arms fisted his shirt as she growled softly, sounding so beastly. All over again, he knew she started crying again when he smelled her salty tears. Damn! He unintentionally upset her all over again! "I'm sorry," He whispered and planted his chin on top of her head, hoping to calm her back down.
"I want those bastards to die!" Seras sobbed in his chest.
"If it's their heads you want, we'll gladly give them to you." Her master promised her. "Whatever happened to them?" In that moment, he felt so helpless not being able to comfort his mate that he was unbelievably angry with himself and the people who hurt his mate all those years ago. He didn't know what to say or do to help dry her tears, but to offer his services and slaughter those vulgar murderers. Despite him hugging her, even the demon looked completely lost on what to do.
"I don't know!" His mate cried, her voice was muffled from her face being buried in the demon's chest. "They were never caught or brought to justice!"
"Do you know their names?" Sebastian asked, knowing that it was a long shot. Seras shook her head with a negative hum. The demon's frown deepened. How can they track those males without having their names? He wanted to ask how else they can help bring her closure, but he already felt terrible not being able to fulfill her first two requests. What can he and Alucard do? "Is there anything else we can do to help bring you closure?" The demon asked, feeling utterly useless.
"I don't know about finding closure, but your hug is helping by making me feel better." Seras whispered. Pleased to hear this, Sebastian gave a soft smile. He also noticed that she had stopped crying, which made him feel the slightest bit better.
"I'll hold you for as long as you want." The demon promised softly as his arms tightened around her.
"Just for a little while longer." His mate muttered. Alucard stared at her hands that rested along the demon's lower back. Cautiously, he reached out a hand to gingerly brush his fingers over the back of one of her hands. When feeling his tender touch, Seras immediately latched on and interlaced her fingers with his.
"I'm sorry you weren't able to find your parents." Alucard whispered while he stared at their hands.
"Do you ever see anyone from your past, Master?" His curious Draculina asked.
"Occasionally," The elder vampire muttered. Seras' fingers slipped out of his hand as she pulled out Sebastian's warm hug. Wiping away her tears, she glanced up at her master and gave him a small smile.
"Really? Who?" She asked. Alucard seemed hesitant answering her question. Frowning at the floor, he took a few seconds to consider if he wanted to be open and personal with her. Eventually, he came to the conclusion that he wanted a meaningful relationship with Seras; he wanted her, the only person he truly cared about, to understand and know him better than anyone. Glancing back at his beautiful mate, he gave her a warm smile.
"My mother and older brother," Alucard answered. A look of surprise shot across Seras' face. Her master had a brother? Suddenly, a smile cracked her face and she couldn't help but giggle at a thought. She couldn't imagine her master being an annoying little brother. In fact, she considered that he was a spoiled only child. With him sharing this information with her, she realized she didn't really know much about him. But, instead of being sad or disappointed having failed to learn anything about him, it only made her eager to have all these discussions with him. She had about a million questions and she hoped that he was just as eager to answer them all.
"That's sweet that after all these centuries your mother and brother still come to see you. They must have loved you deeply." Seras whispered, feeling a little envious.
"There are some good things when it comes to being able to interact with the dead. But there is also some bad." Alucard warned her.
"Like what?" The Draculina asked with furrowed brows.
"Well, for one, not being able to find the ones you love." Sebastian responded before the elder vampire could.
"But also being haunted by people you've killed or pissed off." The elder vampire added. "I don't care who I've killed or pissed off. I hardly take notice of spirits anymore. However, I don't want you getting upset over it or continuously provoking a spirit just because you detest him." Seras frowned when realizing where this was going.
"You're talking about the Professor, aren't you?" She asked, earning a nod from both males.
"I know he's an extremely frustrating man and you hate what he did to us, but you need to stop provoking him, Draculina." Alucard told her. "There is nothing you can do to him. But there is plenty he can do to you."
"What do you mean?" Seras asked as a bit of concern appeared in her eyes.
"He can make your life a living hell and continue to haunt you for the rest of eternity." The elder vampire proceeded. What he said hardly sounded threatening to her. She's dealt with plenty of arseholes at the Orphanage. What was one more? "If he has enough energy, he is capable of physically hurting you."
"What?" The fledgling whispered in disbelief.
"He can hit you, scratch or bruise you, pull your hair, push you, etc cetera. I know that you're a vampire and can heal, but even so, I don't want anyone abusing you, especially for an eternity." Alucard whispered while he stared deep into her stunning blue eyes. She saw nothing but anguish in his eyes. "Please, stop provoking the Professor. I'm hoping that overtime he'll lose all interest in you and leave us alone entirely."
"Ignore him to the best of your abilities. Don't let him get a rise out of you." Sebastian added. The Draculina lowered her gaze and sighed.
"Okay," She whispered. "I'll…do my best to control my temper. But, if either of you see that I'm about to explode, please intervene." Alucard and Sebastian ended up snickering.
"We tried before, but you hardly took notice of us." The demon laughed with a handsome smile on his face.
"Drag me away if you have to. Do whatever you need to keep me from making things worse." Seras permitted them.
