Chapter 3
Death Boy meets Death Girl
-Nico-
He stabbed the hellhound just in time. And it crumbled to dust and right behind. It was a young girl around the age of nine. She had black hair and green eyes and a black jacket on. And she looked like she'd been living on the streets for years. She had a large cut on the side of her face. and she looked in pain but she didn't look scared. Which surprised me. Usually, kids are scared of me I guess I have this aura.
"Thx for saving me," she said "No problem What's your name??" he asked. Will and Hazel caught up to him right as he asked the question
"Raven," she said he just noticed that she had black mist swirling around her. Then Hazel stepped forward and got down on one knee
"Hi Raven. I'm Hazel and that's Will and Nico" Hazel said in a calm tone
Raven made it to where she was facing the fields of the park if she needed to run
-Will-
We're here to help you and take you back to camp. He said in a calm tone. "I'm perfectly fine on my own," she said. Before Will could answer Nico said "You almost just got demolished by a hell hound" The black mist around her feet started to become darker " I should get going" she said quickly. I stepped towards her, and before I could say anything she ran off.
-Raven-
She was not going back to her parents she would never go back. She started running, but she was exhausted. She has been running from monsters all day and barely escaped most of them. She hoped That the three teenagers she saw. Wouldn't follow her but of course, they did. While she was running, she thought. She did not like dogs She already didn't like dogs back when she lived in the castle but now she really doesn't like dogs. She decided when she made it far enough away from the teenagers. When they couldn't see her, she would climb up a tree and hide. She was good at climbing in fact, most nights she slept in trees. She looked behind her, and all three of them were catching up to her.
-Nico-
He started to run after the girl she was fast, but he knew she would tire out eventually so he started chasing her down the hill. She was heading towards the woods. He tried to get her arm but couldn't reach her he looked at Will and Hazel beside him
Hazel tried grabbing her, but she couldn't get a good grip on her hand. Then Will tried he leaped towards her and managed to grab her, and they both fell to the ground
The girl yelped in pain and then screamed "LET ME GO!!" The girl was trying to get out of Will's grip but she was exhausted "Stop fighting me you're going to hurt yourself" Will said in a very calm voice the girl didn't stop. "I'M NOT GOING BACK I WILL NEVER GO BACK!" The girl screamed and started crying "We're not gonna take you back" Hazel said in a very calming voice by this time they were all sitting on the ground, trying to calm the girl she stopped fighting and just curled up into a ball in Will's Arm's and started crying. Nico came a little closer. And said "We're not here to hurt you we want to help you. Your Father told me to find you. He said you're a strong demigod and we need to help you. The girl stopped crying but kept her head in her hands. Hazel and Nico exchanged looks. "You'll be safe with us you just have to trust us," Hazel said. The girl looked up but didn't make eye contact "I'm not good at trusting people" She said quietly "That's OK we can help you" Will said "And my dad is dead I don't know what you're talking about" she said "Why don't you come with us and we'll explain"
