Chapter 14: Melancholy

Izuku's pov

"Alright, due to the previous years this is more spread out then it usually is" aizawa said before clicking on her phone and a screen showed up and i looked at it and i was shocked because i was the highest offered one here

"Then after you choose a internship to go, you need to pick a hero name" aizawa said and i nodded and looked at the screen again

Izuku midoirya- 10,000

And so on i believe that kacchan was below me and i looked down to see all of the agency's and noticed one 'miruko? Thats interesting'i thought and continued looking through the list

Miniskip

Ive decided to go with miruko since she will most likely train me in my legs to do more powerful kicks and properly punches as well and i turned in my list to aizawa and vald queen came in with midnight

"Hero names everyone!! Pick wisely or you'll regret it !" midnight said

Most of the names everyone picked were great honestly but Iida and shoko where having trouble kacchan's hero name was ground zero, i kinda clapped at hero name and she blushed and sat down next up was shoko who went with frost flames and i smiled at her and then next was Iida who just put her normal name

"Are you okay with that name?" midnight said "i…..dont know" Iida said and i frowned when she was about to walk to her seat "Iida! How about hermes!" i shouted at her and she looked at me and then looked at midnight "hmm hermes is the god of speed, alright Iida do you want to use that?" midnight said and Iida nodded

"Alright izuku, its your turn" midnight said and i came up to the board and write down my hero name 'deku' and midnight looked at me with a confused face and i couldn't blame her "the reason why i picked this is that this name used to insult me, but now i want it to have a new meaning, the inspiring hero: deku" I said with a smile on my face and looked at kacchan who smiled back shyly at me

"Alright izuku im going to walk you home for today" kacchan said and I beamed happily "okay just like the old times huh?" I said and she blushed and looked away "hmph yeah like the old times" kacchan said as we walked towards the gate and I turned around to see ayaoma staring at us with a depressing look and walked away with tears in her eyes I was about to say something when kacchan tugged my shirt "come on nerd we need to go home" kacchan said and I sighed sadly "okay kacchan" I said and she looked at me for a second and continued walking

After an hour of walking we reached my house and I grasped the door handle with my hand and pulled it and the door opened letting us inside and we see my mom sitting crossing her arms "ah izuku and katsumi welcome home" mom said and I happily waved at her

Katsumi's pov

I stopped walking and stared at the nerd mother and suddenly my death come into mind and I swallowed a lump in my throat 'what is this ? W-why d-do I feel so terrified right now ?!' I thought in my mind while looking at auntie inko and she stood up slowly

"I'm terribly sorry izuku I didn't mean to keep this secret from you for such a long time but you weren't ready for it but since you got all mights quirk I couldn't do it I thought you would reject me completely" inko said as she said that she stepped forward and I grabbed the nerds hand and backed up holding my breath

"Ah I see that your afraid of me katsumi, but you aren't supposed to be here so sorry but I need him to be with me at the moment" inko said

Sweat poured down my face and I spoke "like hell if I would l-leave him you old hag" as I said that her face turned into sheer disappointment "katsumi I'm disappointed in you I thought you would know better" inko said

"M-mom d-don't tell me y-you're" izuku couldn't finish his sentence as his voice stopped "I assume all might told you didn't she ?" Inko said as izuku's face turned into pure shock "I am the villain for one and izuku, you shall be the one who will have my quirk……my child"inko said

When she said that I immediately turned on my quirk "I won't let you get pass me ! You fucking villain!!" I said angrily and flew towards her and shot my hands forward as a explosion rang out and I smiled and suddenly I was grabbed and thrown into a wall and the wind was knocked out of me and I slumped forward trying to breathe again

"Kacchan!" I heard izuku say "izuku stop!" I said and saw that villain was going to aim at izuku and blasted forward with my quirk and some black tendrils penetrated me and blood came out of my mouth

I looked at izuku "I'm sorry" i said as izuku's eyes widen in shock " I believe In you izuku, I always had and I'm sorry for all the shit I've done" as I said this my vision went black

Izuku's pov

My body couldn't move as I see kacchan's body went limp and I looked at my mom "that was meant to scare her off im sorry that she died son but sorry for this as well" mom said as she brought forward her hands and grasping my head and I felt tired and closed my eyes "w-why?…." I said before my vision darkened

No one's pov

Inko sighed and looked at katsumi's dead body that was on the floor and picked her up and brought her over her shoulder and a portal opened up and she looked over the room and went inside the portal
