Once again at stately Wayne Manor home of millionaire Bruce Wayne and his youthful ward Dick Grayson Aunt Harriet was getting ready to leave for her cruise, Bruce and Dick were waiting by the door as Alfred brings her luggage
"This cruise is going to be so much fun, it's a shame that you two can't come along." Said Aunt Harriet
"We would love to Aunt Harriet, but I have a lot of work to do and Dick has studying to catch up on." Said Bruce
"I hope you have a lot of fun Aunt Harriet." Said Dick
Suddenly they hear a car horn honking.
"There's my cab." Said Aunt Harriet as Alfred grabs her bags and escorts her out the door. Bruce and Dick go into living room
"Well Aunt Harriet is gone." Said Dick
"Which is good because she'll be out of harm's way with the impending danger coming, speaking of which Max and 99 will be here shortly. They only met us as Batman and Robin not as Bruce Wayne and Dick Grayson.
"Right Bruce." Said Dick
Alfred comes into living room
"Sir, A Maxwell Smart is here to see you." Said Alfred escorting him and 99 in
"Mister Wayne, my name is Maxwell Smart I am top secret government agent working for CONTROL. This my partner agent 99." Said Max making the introduction
"Nice to meet you Mister Smart and 99." Said Bruce
"Gosh Bruce secret agents just like in the James Bond movies." Said Dick
"Yes, young man, we are real secret agents. And I must say I am much better looking than Sean Connery." Max joked
"What can we do for you Mister Smart?" Bruce asked
"I am here to warn you Mister Wayne that you are in danger. The organization of evil known as KAOS is out to kidnap you." Said Max
"Oh no Bruce!" said Dick
"Don't worry Max and I have a plan don't we Max?
"Yes 99 we do, but I have a question first. I noticed Mister Wayne that a wealthy man like you don't have security, I didn't see one guard on the grounds when we came up any reason for that?" Max asked
"Well, I don't want to turn my home into a fortress, and besides we're miles away from Gotham City. There's nothing out here but woods and mountains." Said Bruce
"Well if don't mind I would like to do a security check around the property just to be on the safe side." Max offered
"Of course, Alfred will give you both the tour." Said Bruce
Max and 99 followed Alfred as they start their tour around Wayne Manor. Alfred was showing them all the rooms. Suddenly they came upon Bruce's study
"What's in this room?" Max asked
"This Mister Wayne's private study." Said Alfred
"I think I better take a look inside." Said Max
"I sorry sir, but I can't allow you to go in." said Alfred blocking the door
Bruce and Dick walks over to them
"Is there a problem Alfred?" Bruce asked
"They want to go into your private study sir." Alfred responded
"I'm afraid you can't go in there." Said Bruce
"Why not? What are you hiding? Max asked getting suspicious
"It's just that I keep important business files that I don't want being made public." Said Bruce coming up with a cover story
"Don't worry you can trust us." Said Max
"I am sorry, but I still can't let you go in. Now if you insist searching my study, I suggest you get a warrant unless I'm under a criminal investigation?" Bruce asked
"He's right Max, we have no grounds to search the study." Said 99
"Very well, how about we go back down to the living room and discuss our plan." Said Max reluctantly agreeing with 99
Alfred escorts them back to the living room.
"Gosh Bruce, that was close. If they would've went in the study, they would've found the Bat Phone and the Bat poles." Said Dick
"Yes Dick, which is why we have to be careful of we say or do around Maxwell Smart." Said Bruce
Bruce and Dick went into the living room with Max and 99
"Now 99 and I have come up with a plan to trap KAOS and find Doctor Feldon." Said Max
"How?" Bruce asked
"By using you as bait." Max responded
"What!" Dick shouted
"KAOS is planning to kidnap you. So, we let them and Max can follow them to their hideout." Said 99
"Gosh that sounds so dangerous." Said Dick
"Don't worry I will put a tracking device on you. So, I will be able to quickly locate you and rescue you." Said Max
"I know that we will be putting you in a dangerous position, but it's the only way." Said 99
"Despite the danger I think it's a brilliant plan so I'm in.," said Bruce
"That's very brave of you Mister Wayne." Said Max complimenting him
"Well, I am certainly no Batman, but I am a patriotic American and I will do my part to protect my country." Said Bruce
99 takes Max aside to talk to him
"Max what about Batman? Shouldn't we keep him the loop?" 99 asked
"Come on 99, we don't need Batman we're highly trained agents." Said Max offended
"Max you're not Jealous of Batman, are you?" she asked
"Of course, not 99, I am just as capable of a crime fighter as he is." Said Max
"Okay, I just hope this plan works." Said 99
"Of course, it will what can go wrong?" said Max
