Later that night Bruce Wayne was sitting in his living room at stately Wayne Manor, Max was waiting in his car outside when suddenly a black van pulled up in front. Bruce was still sitting on the couch when three KAOS agents come in through the terrace doors, they hit him over the head knocking him unconscious. Then they carry him out and put him in the back of the van, Max was watching this from his car as the van pulls off and Max starts to follow
"99, everything is going according to plan "said Max talking to her through the ear piece
"Be careful Max." said 99
"Don't worry 99, once I get to KAOS's headquarters I will rescue Mister Wayne and Doctor Feldon and bring them both back
"Max I still think that we should've let Batman in on this." Said 99 trying to reason with him
"I told you 99 that we don't need Batman's help, we are more than capable of handling this." Said Max
"Max, you don't have prove anything you're a great agent. So, stop this silly jealousy of yours and let Batman in." 99 pleaded
"Sorry 99, I can't. I contact you once I get to KAOS's headquarters." Said Max taking out his earpiece offended
Max continued to follow the van until arrived at a warehouse, the KAOS agents get out of the van and carries Bruce inside. Max gets out of his car and follows the men inside. The men grab a chair and sits Bruce in the chair, he slowly wakes up feeling a little woozy
"Hello Mister Wayne." Said one of the KAOS agents
"Who are you? And where am I?" Bruce asked
"We are from an organization known as KAOS." Said the man
"What do you want with me?" Bruce asked
"Believe it or not Mister Wayne you're just a pawn in our plan. You see you're a very important person. So important that this country would use any and resources to find you. So, while they're looking for you, we'll have Doctor Feldon out of country." The man explained
"Very clever." Said Bruce
Max comes barging in the room with his gun drawn
"All right gentlemen it's over!" said Max
"Hold on Mister Smart, one step closer and I'll kill Mister Wayne." said the man holding a gun to Bruce's head
Max had no choice but to surrender, he drops his gun and put his hands up
"Gentlemen I must warn you, in about 5 seconds the dynamic duo Batman and Robin will be here." Said Max trying a desperate bluff
"I find that hard to believe." Said the man
"What about an army of CONTROL agents?" Max asked
"Sorry I don't think so." Said the man
"How about Lassie?" Max asked
The men grabbed another chair and sat Max next to Bruce and tied them both up.
"Now Mister Smart, you and Mister Wayne here will be our guests until we get further instructions on what to do with you." Said the Man as he and the other KAOS agents walk out.
A couple hours later at Wayne Manor, Dick and 99 were waiting on word from Max.
"It's been two hours and we haven't heard anything." Said Dick
"I'm afraid something went wrong Dick." Said 99
"What are you going do?" Dick asked
"I have to call Commissioner Gordon and tell him to contact Batman." Said 99 as she walks over to the phone. Commissioner Gordon's phone rings and he answers it
"Commissioner, this is agent 99." She spoke
"99 what can I do for you?" Gordon asked
"Bruce Wayne has been kidnapped and now Max is missing too. So, I need you to call Batman and tell him to meet me downtown Gotham I think I know where they are." Said 99
"Right away!" said Gordon
"I have to go Dick; I promise I will bring Bruce home." Said 99 as she rushes out
Dick then rushes to the study as the Bat Phone lights up beeping, he answers it.
"Yes Commissioner?" Dick answered
"Boy wonder, where's Batman?" Gordon asked
"I'm afraid Batman isn't available right now he's working on a lead." Said Dick coming up with a story
"Bruce Wayne has been kidnapped, and 99 might knows where he is and she needs to meet Batman downtown." Said Gordon
"I'll give him the message Commissioner." Said Dick hanging up
"What are you going to do?" Alfred asked overhearing the conversation
"99 is waiting for Batman." Said Dick.
"I can go dressed in the Bat costume I've done it a couple times before." Alfred suggested
"No Alfred, it won't work this time. 99 is a trained secret agent she'll easily figure out that you're not the real Batman. No, I'll have to go instead." Said Dick
"You're not old enough to drive the Batmobile." Said Alfred reminding him
"No, but you can drive me, but we have to hurry." Said Dick as he pushes the button on the Shakespeare statue moving the bookcase revealing the Bat poles, he runs and slides down.
