DIFFERENCES BEWTEEN SCREENPLAY / NOVELIZATION

The screenplay version of season 2, will play out the novelization of series 1. It still has Fifteen Episodes, although a new episode is added 'Honeymoon.' The episode 'The Search,' is now a 2 hour series finale.

In the Novelization, this season was known as the first season of the series. It also consisted of fifteen episodes. However, the episode 'Honeymoon,' didn't exist and the season finale episode 'The Search,' was a double header episode.

There is also an episode name change for in the Screenplay.

Screenplay: S2. Eps. 13. House Warming Calamity.

Novelization: S1. Eps. 3. Hostage.

CAST / CHARACTER DIFFERENCES

In the Screenplay version of the Second Season and throughout the remainder of the ENTIRE Series, Lola will be played by Barbra Streisand. Her mother, who is briefly seen in the Second Season, is played Kathy Bates.

In the Novelization, from the First Season to the Sixth Season and Series Finale Double Header (season 8), Lola is portrayed by Kathy Bates. In the First Season Novelization, Lola's mother Rose, is played by Barbra Streisand.

So, basically a direct switch of Actresses playing their parts

In the screenplay of the Second Season season, Norman Labelle will be played by Robert Redford.

In the Novelization First Season, Norman Labelle is portrayed by Jack Nicholson.

(Jack Nicholson played Albert Kray in the First Season, Screenplay).

In the Novelization, Eighth and Final Season, Deloris King is play by Allison Mack, while Laura Vandervoort played Felicity Mason during the Flashback scenes.

In the Screenplay, Laura Vandervoort portray's Deloris this Season, briefly third season, all of Nineth and Tenth (Final Season).

(The reason I chose Laura Vandervoort, is because she resembles a young Shelley Long).

SPOILERS:

There will be a few changes in plots and added on characters, compared to the Novelization. Although the Screenplay in Season 2, will still have plots carrying on from the First Season Novelization.

Example: Bethany, Carla, Dominic, Charlotte, Deloris and James are added to the cast. Although their characters are not living in New York City, rather Syracuse.

Note: The Cast playing there roles from the previous screenplay of season 1, will remain the same.

Only the role of Lola Sheldon is changed in the Screenplay, from the Novelization.
