An alternate ending to the buried alive match with a different outcome and some minor changes to what occurred in the match

"Stone cold, tonight is the night where you will face the Undertaker in a match where the objective is to bury your opponent alive. Your thoughts-"

"I know what the damn match is about, Cole! It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out how to win in a buried alive match! All I gotta do is lace up these boots, walk down that ramp, stomp a mudhole in the Undertaker's ass, and drag and toss his sorry ass in the grave."

As Austin continued talking trash in his interview with Michael Cole, less than an hour away before his upcoming match, Taker and Paul were listening and looking on at a TV monitor backstage.

"Still talking trash, as usual." Paul said. "I just can't wait to see that no good son of a bitch gets what's coming to him."

Paul might not have seen it but I did.

'I can see the look of fear in your eyes, boy.'

On the outside, Austin acted all tough, but I could see into his soul and see that he was feeling nervous. Nervous for what fate had in store for him tonight.

'Last Monday I claimed my dominance over your mind, body, and soul. Now all that is left is to bury you alive.'

1 hour later

"Let's go Paul."

Me and Paul made our way down the ramp, when I would stop and take a moment to glance over at the gravesite where I plan to make Austin's final resting place.

We would proceed to continue to walk towards the ring and wait for Austin to show. Sure enough, his music would play and out he came for his final performance in front of the world.

I prepared myself for Austin's arrival, expecting him to make a run to the ring, but instead he would stop and walk towards the gravesite. Stepping onto the pile of dirt and looking down inside the grave, his grave to be precise.

'That's right boy, take a good hard look. What you're seeing is your final resting place.'

I couldn't wait so I left the ring to make my way to Austin who made a quick dash towards me along the ramp.

Trading blows back and forth, our battle had gone underway. Fighting around the gravesite. At one point Austin even attempted to choke me out with his vest and followed it up with bashing my head against the steel barricade.

After talking a little trash Austin raised the steel barricade, attempting to bash me with it, but I was ready and kicked it back. Causing Austin to fall where I took advantage by squeezing the steel down on his neck.

'You better get used to having trouble breathing, boy.' Seeing Austin in a helpless state was a sight I enjoyed seeing very much.

After brawling around the gravesite for a good while we would make our way back to the ring where I would continue to inflict more punishment on Austin until it was time to bury him.

However, Austin seemed more content with fighting outside the ring as he would waste no time dragging me out whenever he would gain the underhand.

It wouldn't last too long once I had landed a boot to his face and he came crashing down onto the floor before I picked him up and tossed him onto the Spanish announce table.

Austin would of course fight back and attempt to piledriver me, but alas he would fail when I countered him and he would be the one coming down on the concrete floor. Landing hard on his back and groaning in pain.

'This is only the beginning of your suffering, Austin.' Lifting him back up from the floor and tossing him against the ring steps to inflict more pain to him.

'Your final moments in this world will be a miserable experience for you, Austin.' Tossing Austin back into the ring, him crawling to the ring post. Possibly to catch his breath, but I would give him no time to recover as I unleashed a few kicks to the rib and choked him for a bit with my boot up against his neck.

'Your no match for me and my Ministry, boy.' I continued punishing Austin against the ring post until I felt it was time to put Austin to rest.

"I believe it's time to put you away." Bringing Austin back outside the ring. Holding him in a headlock as I guided him up the ramp before delivering a punch to his face where he would wobble up towards the direction of the gravesite.

'The end is near for you, Austin.' Once more I delivered a punch to his face and helped guide him to his resting place. Moving him up against the mountain of dirt where I would spot a can of gasoline on the side.

'That may come in handy later.' Just as I was fixing to deliver the final blow that would send Austin tumbling into the grave, the boy had regained his strength and fought back.

'You are simply delaying the enviable.' To say I was pissed would be an understatement and even more pissed I would be when he had knocked me down the hill and bashed with me the guard rail. Next thing I knew we both were staring down inside the grave where I would be the first to experience the coldness of the grave as I stumbled inside it.

However, I would not be the only one for soon Austin would join me as I had managed to bash him with a funeral reef. Falling into the grave and clear as day it would appear he was beginning to lose steam.

Delivering to him a solid headbutt he would lie against the dirt. Looking quite exhausted and worn out from the punishment he had endured thus far.

'Don't worry, boy. You'll be able to rest soon enough.' I was savoring this moment very much as I grabbed Austin by his throat when he had turned to face me. Groaning in agony as I choked him. My head close to his chest as I could hear his heartbeat was beating extremely fast the longer I choked him.

"Goodnight Austin." I would say as he groaned. Falling down as I released him from my grasp. I turned around, grabbing a shovel in hand with the intended to finish him off, but no. He was a stubborn one as he foolishly fought back and even pulled me back into the grave when I had managed to crawl out, but his back was turned when he stood and wouldn't see me till it was too late when I attacked his knee.

Falling forward and lying on top of the mountain of dirt as I crawled out. Catching my breath and looking down at Austin. Tired, worn out, and out of breath. Indeed, his time was drawing near. I could taste it.

I helped Austin back to feet. Only to deliver a hard right hand to his face that caused him to fall on his back on the mountain of dirt.

Before he could have a chance to catch his breath I would deliver more kicks till he stumbled down the dirt I intended to bury him with before this night was through.

Our brawl would continue on the outside where Austin would regain the upper hand when he blocked my attempt to ram his head against the steel barricade and send me against it instead.

It wasn't until we made our way back to the ring I managed to land a strong right hand to Austins face that caused him to stumble away against the ring apron where once more he tried to recover, but alas I wasn't about to allow that to occur as I delivered another strong punch to his face.

Knowing how durable Austin was I had no choice, but to resort to grabbing a steel chair. Waiting for Austin to make his way up to his feet before swinging it as hard as I could right in Austin's face that nearly knocked him out for the count.

'A resilient one, aren't you?' The chair shot was meant to render Austin unconscious, but somehow he managed to avoid that fate.

No matter. All he's done is delay his inevitable demise just as he's done in the past couple of weeks.

After tossing him back into the ring Austin would stand back up. Still not willing to give up as he manages to clothesline me out of the ring and again when I attempt to get back in the ring, but his luck would run out when he attempted to jump off the apron to land an attack. Only to get caught in my grasp where I held him tight and ran his back against the ring post with great force.

With Austin lying almost emotionless on the floor, I would take a moment to catch my breath before slowly making my way to Austin.

'Have no fear Austin. You'll have all the time in the world to rest.' I picked him back up to land more shots to him before ramming him face first into the ring post.

From there I would toss Austin back into the ring where I planned to finish him for good, but of course, he wasn't through just yet as he continued to fight on. Landing more punches, more hits, trying to send me to the ropes before I reversed his move. Rebounding him towards me where I grabbed him by the throat.

Squeezing Austin's neck tight with my grip as I hoisted him up high for the biggest chokeslam I could muster to send him crashing down hard onto the mat in the center of the ring.

From there I would use the time while Austin was out to catch my breath and strength needed to drag him up the gravesite.

'The end is finally near for you, Austin.' I would crawl towards Austin who remained emotionless in the center of the ring. Clearly too worn out to fight back and just as I was about to roll him out of the ring, next thing I knew I would see Paul tossing in a steel chair.

"That's not enough! You gotta spike him! He's still not out!" I glanced over at Paul and gave him a nod because I knew he was right. Austin was still conscious and could very easily crawl out of the grave before I could finish burying him.

And so I picked Austin up from the floor. Looking him in the eyes before I hoisted him for the tombstone piledriver.

Possibly by instinct and realizing he was in trouble, Austin attempted to use what little strength he had left to try to break loose from my hold on him, but it was a futile effort as I spiked him hard onto the steel chair.

Rendering Austin unconscious in the center of the ring with his bald head bleeding a little from the impact.

"It's like I told you before, Austin. You were no match for my Ministry and now all that's left to do now is to bury you alive." I would say to Austin in hopes he could somehow still hear me as I began rolling his unconscious body out of the ring.

Flashbacks of our journey down this highway to hell courses through my mind as I hoisted him up over my shoulder and made my way to the gravesite. All our past battles. All the suffering I had put Austin through these past couple of months. All leading up to this very moment where he will be sacrificed in the name of my Ministry.

I tossed him onto the pile of dirt. Dragging his unconscious body up the mountain of dirt to the grave and leaving him right next to it as I kneeled down.

"This is truly the end for you, Austin." Resting my hand on his head as I spoke.

"I've taken your mind, body, and now? I claim your very soul. Your very existence, boy." No more beer drinking. No more foul mouth language. It all comes to an end as I rolled Austin's unconscious beaten body into the grave and began the slow process of burying him alive, but not before instructing Paul to come over with the gas can and begin pouring the gasoline into the grave onto Austin as I focused on burying him alive.

"I guess you weren't so tough after all, Mr.Stone Cold Steve Austin!" Paul would say out loud. Mocking Austin by shaking his head as Austin's body was slowly becoming less and less visible with gasoline being poured into the grave by Paul.

'You fought well, Austin, I'll give you that much, but in the end you were no match for my Ministry.'

Eventually the referee would ring the bell and declare me as the winner as Austin's body was no longer visible to be seen in the grave and my music played all across the building.

"Ohhhh yes! He's finally buried!" Paul would rejoice in the fact Austin was no more. The so-called toughest SOB had finally met his match and was now taking a dirt nap six feet under.

'How I wish I could see Austin suffocating underneath all that dirt. It would truly be a magnificent sight to see him struggling to breath before his soul left his body.' Me and Paul would look down at the filled grave, Austin's grave to be precise, as Paul just couldn't help, but keep smiling and laughing. If anything I believe Paul enjoyed this moment even more than me.

"You were a worthy rival, Austin. Which also made you a worthy sacrifice for my Ministry." With a match in hand I lit it up and tossed it onto the grave as flames engulfed the entire gravesite.

"Burn in hell you beer drinking son of a bitch!" Paul shouts with a middle finger towards the burning gravesite while shaking his head just like how Austin used to do.

Before me and Paul would take our leave, I would open up a can of beer, Austin's favorite beer to be precise, and look on at the burning grave as I drank the can of beer just as he did with my eyes rolled back inside my head.

"Goodbye Austin. May you never rest in peace, but instead live on inside me as your soul belongs to me now for all time."
