For those that might have read my Four Guardians Seasons, I have mentioned that I had a completely different idea for my Danny Phantom/Mega Man Zero crossover. Well, ladies and gentlemen, I decided to write do my original Four Guardians idea. For those that may not read it, or have forgotten, my original idea was to have Danny's World be in the Mega Man Timeline. A battle causes him to place in a healing capsule, this takes place after Phantom Planet, until a malfunctioning seal Danny away for 200 years. And before any of you ask why Danny wasn't released earlier, the cause of the malfunction was never found. Anyways, he was awakened 300 years later by Sage Harpuia. And the title for this story was the best I could think of.
Outlands, 22XX
Things have been quiet since Zero destroy Master X...No, Copy X. Harpauia stood in a ruin from a town that exist 200 years ago.
'Even since learning we were following the orders of a copy, things have been different. Countless of innocent reploids were slain by that fake. And we went along with it. As much as I hate to admit it, I am grateful Zero destroyed him. Phantom gave his life for someone that wasn't who we thought he was.' He thought.
Many people had chosen him to become the next ruler of Neo Arcadia, but Harpuia was unsure about the job. Yes, he was built from the real X's DNA, but after following that fake for so long, was it really the best choice?
"Master! Over here!"
Harpuia turns and saw his student, rebuilt after Zero destroyed him, pushing away a broken wall. To Harpauia shock, there was another capsule, but this was clearly different. It looks really old, older than what most capsules are today. He walks up to it and wipes the fog from the glass. To his shock, he saw a human inside. But he was young, he had snow-white hair and had a face mask over his mouth, clearly in some kind of liquid.
'Who would place their child in a capsule like this?' Harpuia thought.
He then heard a screen turn on and face it. He walks over and sees a red hair girl, looking sad and tired.
"To anyone that is watching this, my name is Jasmine Fenton or Jazz for short. I belong to a family that was known to hunt ghosts. I know it sounds strange, but please listen. If you have found the capsule then you have found someone I care for very much. My brother, Daniel Fenton or Danny for short. 20 years ago, my parents built a portal to another world that they called the Ghost Zone. However, when it fail, my brother was convinced to go inside to portal and somehow turned it on. I wasn't there when it happen but I did learn that it turn my brother into a Halfa, A half-human/half-ghost hybrid. For a time he try to find a way to change back to a full human until he started to use his power to save others. But it wasn't easy. The people strongly believe my parent's beliefs that Ghosts were evil and dangerous. But Danny kept saving the day and slowly won the people's trust. Then one day, he saved the Earth from an asteroid that was going to destroy the Earth. And since then, he was hail as a hero. Sadly, it didn't last long. A Ghost we never heard of appear and challenge my brother. Danny was able to beat him, but he was badly hurt. So hurt that not even his ghost-half could be able to heal him completely. However, my parents built the capsule you see before you. It took all their knowledge to make it work as they hope. Danny was placed inside, hoping the capsule would help heal him in a short few hours. Sadly, something when wrong. The capsule malfunction, trapping Danny inside. We have tried to open it but there's nothing we could do. My parents search the capsule, but there was nothing wrong with it. It was like it seal Danny inside. I have searched for a way to open myself but come to a shocking surprise. Somehow, the capsule timelimit changed. Instead of a few hours, it would be open until 200 years from now. I don't know how that happen, but I know I wouldn't be alive to see my brother awaken. If you find it, please, take care of him. Don't let him fall down the wrong path. He's my brother. Please..."
The message stopped there, and Harpuia turns to the capsule. Inside was something that wasn't human anymore. But the girl was begging for someone to help her brother. Harpuia close his eye and thought about it.
"Master?"
"We're taking it back. Copy that message as well. Then destroy everything." He said.
He didn't want to, but he didn't want to risk someone else finding out about this and try to take the boy away. As a guardian, it was his duty to protect humans. While this boy might not be a human, he couldn't bring himself to ignore the girl's cry for help.
'Maybe, we can make things right by helping him.' He thought.
Later, Neo Arcadia,
Harpuia look over the capsule and started to look for a way to open it. He was soon joined by his fellow Guardians, Fighting Fefnir, and Fairy Leviathan.
"So, Harpuia, what did you bring back today?" Leviathan asked.
"I hope it's fun to fight!" Fefnir added, smirking.
"Watch the disk." He said, pointing at it.
Confused, Levithan played the disk and heard the message. When it was done, they were shocked.
"You're kidding?!" Fefnir shouted, looking back at Harpuia.
"The message was a clear sign that she wanted someone to watch over her brother. While he may not be fully human, she still saw him as family. Besides, we can relate." Harpuia said.
Fefnir and Leviathan both looked down. The fourth and last member of their group, Hidden Phantom, gave his life trying to destroy Zero. As much as they wanted to be mad at Zero, they knew the fault was on that copy of Master X. Though they left the room as ordered, they did stay behind to watch the fight. They were even shocked to hear that copy admitted he was a fake and Zero's words clearly made them see he was right. What they have been doing was not what the real Master X wanted.
"So, what are you planning on doing?" Leviathan asked.
"First I'm going to free the boy. Then help him overcome the age he's in. If it wasn't for the message, I would think age would catch up to him and might turn him into dust." Harpuia said.
"I don't think it'll work like that," Leviathan said.
"Even so, I'm going to carry out the girl's wishes. And I want you both to treat him like a guest." Harpuia said.
"What? You're making us play babysitter?!" Fefnir shouted.
Harpuia heard a beep and heard the liquid start draining. He stood up and steps back. The liquid drains completely before the locks undid themselves. There was the sound of steam before the capsule opened. The mask fell off before the boy groans. They could see he was wearing a black and white jumpsuit with the letter D on his chest. He opens his eyes to show they were glowing bright green. He climbs out of the capsule before falling to the ground. Harpuia was about to walk up to him when a bright light appear and a ring started to change him. His hair turns black and his jumpsuit changes into a pair of ruined clothes.
Harpuia walks up and knees to the boy. He check over him and could feel a heartbeat.
"He's alive." He said, making the other two relax.
"So, what now?" Fefnir asked.
"We must get him a new pair of clothes and make sure nothing is wrong with him. Who knows what 200 years did to him." Harpuia said.
Leviathan carefully picks the boy up, hearing him moan.
"We might as well get some food for him too," Leviathan said.
Fefnir groans but made no argument. With that, the three headed off, not noticing a small camera watching them.
Later,
He groans and opened his eyes. His vision started off as blurry at first, but his eyes started to clear up. He looks around the room and felt he was in a bed. He sat up and groans again. His head started to hurt, and lay back down.
"What happened? Where am I?" He asked, his voice dry.
He spotted a cup of water on the table and grabs it. He drinks it, feeling it wash out the dryness. He then pulls the cup away, and notices how different it was. But try as he might, he couldn't think of why it looked different.
'Augh, my head. Where am I? Wait, who am I?' He thought.
Try as he might, he couldn't remember anything. Nothing came to him. Well, one thing did come to him. A name.
Before he try to see whatever he could remember, the door opens showing three strangely dress people entering.
"So, you're awake." The Green One said.
"How are you feeling?" The Blue One said.
"I..." He started before hearing his stomach growl.
"That's answers that." The Red One said as the Blue One hand him some food.
"Please eat." The person said.
Now that the person was closer, he could see that the person was a female. She was really pretty too.
"Thanks," he said, taking the tray.
There wasn't much, but he was too hungry to care. He started eating, not knowing the three were watching him. Harpuia then steps up, putting a pair of clean clothes next to him.
"Once you're done, change and meet us outside the room." He said.
"Okay." The boy said, a little lost.
"Who are you?" He asked, a bit scared.
The three stops and face him.
"In due time. Please, get your bearings first." Harpuia said.
The boy blinks before returning to eating. Once he was done, he saw the clothes and reached for them. He stops as he could have sworn he's done this before. He shook his head and started to change. He put on the black jumpsuit before putting on his new boots. He puts the purple vest over his chest and slips on some shorts.
'Huh, cozy.' He thought.
He stood up and wobble a bit. But he was able to stand and headed for the door. He was shocked to see it open on its own before stepping out.
"Where am I?" He asked.
"Good, I see you're doing better."
He turns and saw the three people from earlier.
"Tell me, what do you remember?" Harpuia asked him.
"I...don't know. I can't remember anything." He said, holding his head.
The three looked at each other. Leviathan then steps up.
"Are you sure?" She asked.
"Well, a name keeps popping in my head. Phantom. I could have sworn I heard that name from somewhere." He said.
Harpuia looks at him and understood. The capsule had given him amnesia. But unlike most, he even forgot his own name.
And here's the start of my oringal idea. So, Danny has sealed away and was found by the Four Guardians. Sadly, Danny couldn't remember everything. Other than how to eat, change, and the name he said. Now, why doesn't Harpuia show him the message from Jazz? The answer was in the chapter. If he doesn't remember anything, do you think he's going to remember his sister? Also, no pairings for this one. This takes place between Mega Man Zero 1 and 2. So what will the Guardians do with a human that has amnesia? Find out in the next chapter.
