Oh, a new writer? Heh, well tbh I'm not really much of one. Heck I don't even know if I'm doing things right or wrong. So do forgive me for my newbieness and typos if there's any lol.

This Story actually came into play while a friend of my discovered this site called (Character . AI) Where we could talk to any sort of character and have a fake conversation with them. I started doing one with Octavia, and I somehow manage to make somewhat a fun romance/drama story out of it. So I figured I write about it in a proper format. Some of the scenarios you'll see as we progress are based on some of my interactions with the AI site, so it'll be interesting to write them out! I don't have a plan for how many chapters they'll be and when the next ones will release, so you'll have to bare with me folks!

So without further ado, here it is. My first fanfic I've ever written.

An Unusual Relationship: Octavia x OC FanFic - Prologue

You know for a place called Hell, you'd figure that there wouldn't be a thing called love. Sure, there's the love for greed, sex, or murder down here. But I've never figured you would have the love for a being down here in the Rings of Hell.

But there's one person that has changed that view for me.

Henry's POV:

Loo Loo Land. Pretty much what you expected in the Greed Ring. Just some run down place that should've been demolished that only wants to scam you for money. Rides that are on the verge of breaking, con artist rigging games, and novelty cups that no one would use after buying it.

Worse part of it all, that creepy version of Fizzarolli, Robo Fizz. I could never stand his performances, it feels like at any moment, it could just grab and eat you alive. I don't know why my parents decided to take me here for my 5th Birthday in the first place. I wanted to get the hell out of here.

RoboFizz: Well ladies and gen- gentlemen. That is it for our afterno-noon performance. Come see us again real so-soon- soon-

I walked out of the tent, to take a breather after witnessing that horrible freak of a show.

"*sighs* Who in the right mind thought that was a good idea?" I said as I kicked over an empty soda can.

Suddenly, my ears then hear sobbing coming from somewhere. I walk around the tent trying to find the source of the crying. I then see some crate boxes and right behind it, I found the source of the sound.

It's a little owl girl with a pink star patterned dress. I slowly approach her and nervously ask her "Hey. Are you ok?"

The girl then lifts her face and looks at me in silence. I got a good look at her, and her face was covered in dark tears with her hot pink and white eyes. She then scoots away from me as if she's afraid.

"It's ok…" I put my hands up to show I'm not gonna hurt her. "I'm not gonna hurt you. I… heard your crying."

We both stare at each other, while she's still forming tears in her eyes. I begin to wonder what happened to her. Knowing that she's right by the same tent RoboFizz, I asked her "Let me guess. Was it RoboFizz that scared ya?"

She nods at me, looking down at the ground. I then sit on the ground next to her.

"Hey I don't blame you. Honestly, a thing like that shouldn't exist. I'm gonna have nightmares for weeks."

Owl: sniff "That makes two of us."

I finally hear her speak. Her voice is a little weak from crying, but she had a real sweet voice.

"So, what's your name? My name is Henry." I hold out my hand to her to give her a hand shake.

She stares at it for a second, and slowly reaches her out to grab it and we both shake it.

"My name is… Octavia."

"Well Octavia. Don't worry about that robot. It's just some piece of junk that's just only made to make money." I reassured her.

"I know, but it's just… scary to even look and think about it…" She said.

I try to think of something to help get her mind off the robot. I then look over at one of the carnival game booths, looking at all of the displays of various prizes.

"I got an idea that can help take your mind off of him. Let's go try out one of those games!" I said to get her excited.

"Why bother? This whole place is rigged." She said, still trying to wipe her tears.

"True, but what if it wasn't?" I said

"Huh?"

"Come on!" I hold out my hand to her. She hesitantly grabs it, and I pull her up and guide her to one of the booths.

We come to the first booth we see, which is a classic game of throwing the ball at bottles. Before we go to it, I tell Octavia my plan while handing her cash.

"Here. Go and play a game." She looks at me with a puzzled expression. "Trust me." I give a wink. She then walks up to the booth and greets the Carny.

Octavia's POV:

"One game p-please." I nervously said while holding out the money.

The Carny looks at me, takes the money, and gives me three balls. "Good luck, little one." He laughs, feeling confident that I won't be able to knock down the bottles.

I grabbed the first ball and threw it, but I missed. The balls were a lot heavier than a regular ball. The Carny snickers at me. I feel embarrassed at getting laughed at, but I try to focus on my next throw. When I grab and throw the second ball, it actually hits the bottles but it doesn't knock over.

"It's just not your day, isn't it?" The Carny says. He then proceeds to grab his newspaper and hold it up, no longer interested in watching me.

I start feeling less confident. Nobody ever wins these games, because they're all rigged to lose. I decided to give it one last try, even though I won't win at all. I pick up the third ball, and I throw it like last time. But in a quick flash, I see Henry open a hatch underneath the table that the bottles are sitting on, and as the ball hits the bottles, he quickly knocks them over with his hands, and hides back down. How did he get back there I wondered?

The sound of the bottles knocking over catches the attention of The Carny. His eyes widen at the sight of me managing to knock them over.

"You… you won?" The Carny says with a shocked impression.

"Um I-" I was about to tell him what happened but I get interrupt from behind.

"You did it, Via! You won!" Henry grabbed me by the shoulders, shaking them to congratulate me. My eyes dart back and forth. How did he get from here to there and back that quick?!

"Ugh…. Ok. What prize do you want?" The Carny asks me but is not pleased.

I look back at Henry and he gives me a smile and a wink. I smile at him, for being sneaky and thoughtful for helping me win. I proceed to look at the prizes and pick one out.

Henry's POV:

I wait for Octavia to claim her prize. When the Carny hands her a plush that looks like an imp, she comes over and shows it to me.

"Look! It's so adorable!" She hugs the plush tightly.

"Heh. It sure is. Congrats Octavia!" I say with happiness for her. She now seems to be feeling better than earlier.

She looks at me, and gives a lovely smile no one could ever forget. She then proceeds to give me a hug. This left me shocked, but I soon melted into the embrace.

"Thank you, Henry." She said with so much joy.

"Your Welcome, Via."

"Octavia?!" A voice shouts in the distance. We broke from our hug, and we see a large owl walk toward us.

"Dad?" Octavia says.

The owl walks up to us and Octavia goes to give him a hug.

"Oh my sweet owlet! I got so worried! I've been looking everywhere for you!" Octavia's father says.

"It's OK daddy! I was hanging out with my friend!" She looks at me and the owl makes eye contact with me. "He helped me win a game too!" She shows him her stuffed toy to him.

"So I see… What's your name, little one?" The owl asks in a calm voice.

"I- I'm- I'm Henry, sir." I said nervously hoping he won't get mad at me for hanging with Octavia.

The owl then walks up to me and kneels down to me to get a closer look. He then smiles and holds out his hand.

"Hello Henry. I'm Octavia's father, Stolas Goetia. Pleasure to meet you."

Goetia? As in the Ars Goetia?! Wait, so this whole time… Octavia is a princess and part of the Goetia family?!

My mind starts panicking, so scared that I might end up in trouble for being around a royal Nobel. I quickly then bow to Stolas.

"I'm so sorry your highness! I did not know she was your daughter! I promise you I was just trying to cheer her up! Please forgive me!" I quickly say.

Stolas at first is shocked at my sudden change in politeness, but he chuckles at it before speaking. "Oh please. No need to be all formal, Henry." He said as he put his hand on my shoulder.

"I… I had no intention of hurting her! I was just helping her cheer up after the RoboFizz show." I said.

"It's the truth, daddy. Henry is really kind!" Octavia said to confirm my statement.

"I trust your words, both of you." Stolas said. "Now, my owlet. I believe it's time for us to return home. Your mother wants us back before your other relatives visit for dinner."

"OK, daddy." She said, but sounding a bit sad.

"It was nice meeting you, Henry." Stolas said to me, before nodding at me.

"You too, your highness." I then bow before turning back to Octavia. "I hope to see you again, Via." I smile.

"Me too, Henry." She quickly gives me another hug. She and Stolas then proceed to the wall towards the exit of the park.

I still can't believe I've got to hang out with a royal family member. But it's weird, Octavia seemed so different then all of the other royal novels I've heard about from school or family. Majority of them weren't the friendliest kind of demons in Hell. But her and her father are… different.

"Henry! Honey! It's time to go home!" I heard the sound of my mother calling out to me and I ran towards the direction it came from.

Location: Henry's Home

What a birthday this turned out to be. My family's idea of a good time certainly wasn't the best, but in the end, I did manage to make a friend. Even though I doubt I would see her again. Given she's a Geotia princess and I'm just an imp.

I sit in my room, bored out of my mind not knowing what to do for the rest of the night for my birthday. A knock comes from my door and my mother walks in and asks "Hey Sweetie. You ok?"

"I'm fine."

"Honey. I know when you're sad about something. So what is it?"

"I- made a friend at the park." I told her.

"Oh you did?! Aww, that's really sweet! What are they like?"

"Um… we met each other after the RoboFizz show. She was scared by the robot, and I wanted to help cheer her up."

"Oh? So she's a girl? Is she pretty?" She said with a smirk.

My face starts to blush red, even though my skin is the same color.

"Um, she's really sweet. But it's just- she's way out of my league. And I don't think I'll be able to see her again." I said with a sad tone.

"I'm sure you will, honey. With all of the rings of Hell that exist, you'd be surprised to find someone you've seen before again."

"Yeah. But it's just-" before I can finish my sentence, our doorbell rings.

"Who could that be?" My mother gets up and walks to open the front door. To her surprise, a well dressed imp with a limousine is at the door.

"Good evening mam. Is this the home of Henry?" The imp says in a calm manner.

"Um, yes. What do you want with him?" My mom says with a confused expression.

I walk behind her and ask what's going on. The fancy imp sees me and then addresses me.

"I am Boxley. Royal servant of the Geotia family. My lord, Stolas Goetia has requested your presence, Sir Henry."

My mom looks back at me with wide eyes. I'm also shocked that Stolas requested me.

"Henry?! What did you do?!" My mother is now angry at me.

"I didn't do anything! I swear!" I said, now scared that I'm in trouble.

"Miss Henry's Mother. I'll reassure you, he is not in trouble. He wishes to talk to him and to you too as well." Boxley said to calm our nerves. We both look at each other, unsure now what is going to happen.

Location: Stolas's Mansion

We arrive at a large mansion, that certainly no imp would dare enter unless you plan on death greeting you. Boxley leads me and mom inside, and we walk down a large hallway, showcasing various family portraits. Including some of Stolas, Octavia, and another member I've not seen but I assume is Octavia's mother.

We then enter a room with a fireplace and a few chairs all round. We are then greeted by Stolas, who is in more comfy clothes rather than professional attire.

"Ah! Henry. Lovely to see you again." He says with a warm smile.

"You know my son, your highness?" My mother asks Stolas in a polite manner.

"I do. And you must be the boy's mother. Miss?" Stolas holds out his hand to my mother.

"Um… Dori. Dori Hale, your highness." She said as she politely shakes his hand and bows.

"The pleasure is all mine! Now I know you two must be wondering I summoned you, Henry."

"Um… Yes sir. I hope my son has not caused you any trouble. If he did, I will be the one to take any punishment-"

"Dori, your son is no trouble. *chuckles* In fact, I have a request for him."

"Wh- what is it?" I asked, now nervous.

"My daughter Octavia, is currently in a bad mood after our relatives have come over. Her cousins have been teasing her all night, and it breaks my heart to see her not have many friends to just talk to her or be friendly to her. When I tried talking to her earlier, she said she'll never have another friend just like Henry."

My mind starts thinking back to my time with Octavia today. Was I… her only good friend she had in a while?

"So forgive me for summoning you this late, but if you could do me this favor. Would you be willing to go talk to her? I'm sure if she sees you, it'll lift her spirits."

I look back at my mother, who looks at me with a calm smile.

"Go ahead, Sweetie." My mom says.

"Ok. Where is she?" I ask Stolas.

"Oh, Boxley will show you to her room! In the meantime, I'd like to have a chat with you, Miss Hale."

Boxley then leads me out of the room, while my mother and Stolas stay behind to talk. As we progress through the mansion, I admire how big the place is. It must get lonely with so much space in this place that seems only good for party's. We reach Octavia's room and Boxley bows to me as I proceed to open the door.

I look around her room. It's full of pink colors and various star patterns on the ceiling. Sobbing sounds then hit my ears, and I look at the bed and see Octavia curled up in a ball. I walk over to her to help her cheer up.

"Hey, Via." I said in a calm sweet voice.

Octavia gets up and looks at me. Her eyes widened at the sight of me.

"H- Henry?"

"You ok?" I asked.

She quickly then gets up and gives me the biggest hug I've ever gotten. She sobs into my shoulder and I try to soothe her.

"I- I've missed you Henry." She cries out. My heart aches after hearing that.

We still hugged each other for a few minutes. After she calms down, we sit down and talk about what happened. Her cousins have teased and called her weak and that she was going to be like her dad who many of the Goetia family calls a disgrace to the name.

"Wow. What a bunch of jerks." I said. If I ever see these demons, I'm gonna beat them to a pulp.

"I don't know why they think that of me… So what if I'm not like all the other family members. Shouldn't they just love me for who I am?!" She says, with tears forming again.

"Well, if it makes you feel better, I don't think you're weak. You're really a sweet person. In fact you're sweeter than any other demon I've met in my life other than my mother." I said to her.

"You- you think so?" She said with the sad eyes that stare at me.

"Of course. But I'm still shocked that you actually were thinking about me. I'm just some imp." I said with a sad expression.

"Why does that matter?" Octavia asks.

"Because we… live in two different class systems. I'm the lowest of the low, and you're in the higher ranks. We wouldn't make sense to anyone."

"Well to me, we do! I first thought you'd be another imp just making trouble. But you went out of your way to cheer me up and help me win this prize!" She said, as she grabbed the imp plush she won earlier today. "So that tells me that you're different from everyone else in this world."

I look at her, shocked that she's saying all of these kinds words that I'd never thought I would hear from any royal novel.

"So… Do you… want to stay friends?" I asked nervously.

"Of course I do, silly!" She said, as she hugged me.

I melt into the hug, and tears start forming in my eyes. I had a friend, something I never expected to get in this world. "This is the best birthday ever…" I whisper quietly.

"Huh? It's your birthday?!" Octavia pulls away from the hug and looks at me with shocked eyes.

"Yeah it is. That's why I was at Loo Loo Land in the first place." I said, but in a disappointing tone.

Octavia then quickly gets off the bed and grabs me by the hand. "Then we should celebrate it! My dad has some leftover vanilla cake from our dinner early. Come on!" She leads me out of the room, as we head to the kitchen.

While this birthday was not what I was expecting, it's one that I will cherish for the rest of my life. Cause it's the day I've met the love of my life, Octavia Goetia.
