Chapter 2: Labor and a Movie

The next day, we all met up at the office in Seven Fields Township to have a discussion group on labor and then watch A Goofy Movie afterwards. "Hi, guys!" I greeted my friends. "Hi, Angel!" Sarah greeted back. We jammed out to NSYNC and 98 Degrees prior to the meeting. "When I was only 13 years old and moved to Pittsburgh, I was hoping that I could find a real job that was fun and made a lot of money at the same time," Carly stated. "Pittsburgh's Perfect Parties seems to be the perfect fit for me!" "It seems to be the perfect fit for all of us," Mr. Benson stated. "I have not seen A Goofy Movie in a long time," Spencer happily stated. "I can't wait to see it again!" "I could play some of the games, but I need to watch my broken arm," Carly stated. "And, I need to watch my broken ankle," Alex agreed. "I enjoyed playing in the marching band at a football game the same night I fundraised for the band trip. I have been trying to get a job as a professional flute player in a local concert band or orchestra, but I just do not know how to audition." "I am not exactly sure how the audition works, either, Alex," Justin added. "Neither am I," Max agreed. "I am just grateful that I work at Pittsburgh's Perfect Parties for now!" Once the discussion group was over, we jammed out to Kate Bush and Lizzo while playing games like Frozen T-shirts, Do Not Say It, iSeek, Sleeping Beauty, Burglar Alarm, Junk Food Dishes, Blink, Sleepover Ball Game, Limbo Contest, and I Am Going Shopping. We remade the pizzas from our last activity in Allison Park for dinner prior to watching the movie. "I learned my lesson when I broke my ankle at the end of the summer," I stated. "I was holding on so tightly to summer and then I panicked when I saw the lantern flies in the Waterfront that I ran so hard and did not see the curb at the end. Therefore, I fell down and broke my ankle." "I hated having another car accident last week," James glumly stated. "This is why I am taking a break from driving for a while." "You can always count on us, James," Henri happily stated. "I especially know that I can count on you, Sarah," I happily told my female friend. "I will be doing everything I can to make sure that you girls are as good as new during the next few weeks," Sarah happily told us. "It was fun to meet you guys for the first time at your parents' wedding at Natrona Heights Presbyterian Church," I happily remembered. "It was also fun seeing you guys get honored at your honors banquet at the exact same church. I don't suppose it would hurt that we use the Sixth Presbyterian Church for the Taylor Allderdice and Colfax School academic honors banquets next spring." "We'll see, Angel," Sarah stated. Then, we watched A Goofy Movie and headed back to bed once the movie was over. "Thanks for a great day, everyone!" I thanked my friends. "You're welcome, Angel," Sarah replied. "Good night, guys!" "Good night!"
