Hey People,
last chapter of the final. Beware the triggerwarnings! It concerns what goes on in the bar, we got two more scenes and yes, there is a sentence that starts bad, but ends well. So, if you read it all I'd say it's a PG18 chapter. If you leave them out PG16. I decided to put concrete triggerwarnings above each scene. Cause of the urgency of the situation and flow of the story it's important. But I do totally understand if someone doesn't want to read such things. BE AWARE the FIRST SCENE is a triggerwarning scene.
Scenes are tagged through:
It starts with
-***- Trigerwarning: xyz
And it ends with
It is possible to understand the chapter without the bar scenes. PLEASE, take care of your mental health and only read when you are in the mood for such things. No story is worth triggering something in you. And of course, Blade will be saved today but it will get dicey. All the best to you all!

The redhead drooled a bit, the drugs were starting to truly kick in. It still was a few steps to go and Shirely searched for the finest angles with some sneak peaks under the embordered lingerie.
"Enough," Clayton hissed jealously, "I'm first to enjoy her fully." A bit rough he pushed Shirely to the side.
"Uuuuhh, touchy," The woman kept moderating the stream as she giggled amused, "Seems like we finally gonna see the bitch truly moan for us. Aaaaahh, what a man, does that bitch even deserve such a prime example of a true man at her bedside?" Shirley cheekily added for the viewers.
"Yes," the girl answered like a robot even if it wasn't a question directed at her, while Clayton grabbed her by the hair and pulled her to the top of the stairs.
"SIT, you stupid bitch!" Clayton released her head and nearly smacked her to the ground as he did. The Witch followed suit somehow although her body didn't quite listen to her attempts. "Open your mouth," he took the doughnut candy sachet out again and stuffed her mouth full, "Chew." He ordered and turned around to the others. "Give me the booze," he grabbed the fresh vodka bottle from Shane's hand who had just entered the room with some others behind him.
"Careful, she needs to last..." The Paladin reminded him dryly.
"She killed four people with her bare hands. She'll last, trust me," Clayton forced her mouth open and chucked the clear liquid down her throat. "I mean, we haven't even started yet." He kept pouring the Witches mouth was already overflowing and she coughed up here and there. "No, no, no, you still got some magic in you, you gonna drink up." Clayton wouldn't stop and his eyes burned in rage, finally, he could vent that frustration of three months on her.
Aithlin had ordered the TMD to forward the vitals via chat to his console. He was sure the operative was wearing one of their hidden bracelets. "Councillor," Aithlin addressed Nerrocen anxious as he gazed at the vitals. Stable yet, this last shot would surely create an overdose.
'Ninety-six' Amal trembled and ground his teeth so hard that he started to tear up. He wished so badly that he could be there, like the other guys. But he was stuck behind the screen. He did his part in sending the teams to the locations of the viewers but it simply didn't feel enough. 'What am I doing here?!'
"Turn it off!" Several People in the room called out. Others gaged or looked away shocked to the core. It felt a bit unreal to watch those masked people drag and pull around a girl that young through the room to chain her hands to a bed even if they only saw a white glowing stand-in the TMD had created as a censor.
Griffin like the rest of the Dark magic users was flaring up in their magic, if they were cleared to use magic in the building. They were pissed, normally most people didn't care. But now they had to look truth in the eye, like the Dark magic users always had to all their lives long, and these people had the audacity to ask to turn it off.
Faragonda was pale, "This could have been Blade if she, if…without Red Fountain training…" Every one of the Professors gulped deeply at this revelation.
"Turn it off? WHY? Looks like fun! I mean, she's not saying no, now, is she? I mean, that's not truly happening to her, that's just a story she spun, it's just an elaborate Fairy tale," Nerrocean roared through the hall, "She deserves it after all! She most surely seduced them all, all fifty Officers in that bar. In reality, SHE WANTS IT." He quoted more people he had heard when Blade's hearing statement had been played.
"Stop them!" A bigger faction rose from their chairs in total disbelief that no one jumped in to save the agent, that the operation wasn't called off, this was more than enough proof for any hearing after all. They had understood the point Nerrocean was trying to make.
"What's wrong with you!?" Another one screamed enraged. "She's your agent!"
"So, what? She's a Witch. Expendable. Why would Magix ever help such a useless waste of space? I mean, over half the room rather wants Cloud Tower gone, so what's one cold body in the streets, while we get rid of them completely?" Nerrocean crossed his arms unmoved by the words of the people. He wanted them FOR ONCE in their lifetime to feel like all the Witches in his Order. While most Dark Paladins and Wizards had been more or less welcomed, their female counters had been hit with wrath and hate times and times again. Some people started to stand up trying to leave. They didn't want to watch this but the guards let no one out, they couldn't let their targets inside vanish in the crowd and bolt. "Running again!?" Nerrocean addressed the assembly. "You kept ignoring it all your life! Have the decency to see it through to the end just once!" He was merciless with all of them. 'Ninety-eight…'

The redhead still choked a bit on the candies and booze, the heavy chains from the bed led to Blade's wrists and clanked as they flopped around. She couldn't even hold her head up she was so drunk. Her cheeks flushed as her eyes rolled around, she was completely wasted and her magic flow dried up. She had reached her limit.
Nevertheless, Clayton seized her by the hair again and pulled her head back. "Time to work, you bitch." He ripped away the fine lingerie top, to completely reveal that tasteless harness beneath. In one swift move took his shirt off and pinned her face forward on the bed.
Amal stared at the feed and the number, 'No, no, no, no, we have to catch them all…. fuck!' Clayton already pulled Blade in and into a position of his liking.
'Ninty-nine,' Nerrocean amassed his magic for the swap rune, "Come on, people! Don't be shy you always said someone should fuck with the Witches, your wishes came true! REJOICE!"
"NERROCEAN!" Aithlin himself got pissed because he saw the vitals starting to plummet with the fading magic.
Nerrocean gave a nod over his shoulder towards him to ensure he knew everything was still under control. "Let's play a quiz, shall we? Then I let you all go your mary way. Promise. Here's the question will CLAYTON let the girl go because A, it's past his bedtime; B, it's all a misunderstanding, surely he mistook her for his girlfriend; Maybe C, it's all, of course, consensual, I mean, what else does one need drugs and booze in masses for; Or, oh, yes, how about D, when Clayton figures out that SHE is a minor he is raping in front of a bunch of Officers and FIVE THOUSAND seven hundred and eighty-three live viewers, you all excluded, throughout Magix and in some of your precious Kingdoms. He will immediately stop because that's the right thing to do." Nerrocean was so sarcastic it poured out of his every pore, pissed and somewhat pleased that finally, he could see the proper reaction in all those Councillors to this injustice. They won't forget this lesson.
"SAVE HER!"; "DO SOMETHING!"; "WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR!"
"HUNDRED!" Amal screamed out as he freaked. Clayton was about to reach for his trouser zipper. "WE GOT THEM ALL!"
"Grandmaster!" From Master Nerrocean an immense wave of Dark magic erupted in a geyser water shot up from beneath him and he vanished in the soupy dark water masses that reached its high point nearly touching the ceiling of the hall.
"GO; GO; GO!"
Clayton could already taste this sweetness. He reached out for the harness to pull the Witch closer, "I'll fuck you so har-" As instantaneously the redhead disappeared and he held only that harness outfit. His breath got stuck. He couldn't utter a word. Where the helpless bitch had lied before him for the taking now a ginormous flaming shadow towered over him. He nearly pissed himself. A dark ominous figure with bright red glowing lines that pulsated flickered through. A magic shockwave broke the bed Clayton was sitting on to shreds and dust. As the deepest darkest voice echoed from that thing before him. He utterly froze in fear.
"You've been DENIED."
The moment Iolas shouted, the barriers they had hidden so far came down and everyone rushed the bar. Never in their lifetime, the kids had been so fast, still, they were slower than all the Council guards and Division Hunters. Their hearts pounded like crazy.
Shane summoned his elemental sword and jumped at that creature, "CALL THE HUTNERS!" he ordered everyone around as Shane mustered all his Light magic, "DIE YOU BLACK MAGIC MONSTER!" His sword lit up in a white light ready to slay the darkness before him.
The windows in the upper floor broke and Mercury rolled off the ground. He was brimming in his Light magic and stopped Shane's blade with his bare hand, it slightly cut his skin before he truly had it, "TCH. WEAK" He grasped the sword in his rage, his burning anger sent his magic along the weapon and it shattered to pieces.
Shane behind his monster mask stared wide-eyed at the young boy, "But how?!"
"Veil!" Nebula cast hurriedly.
Kitty charged through another window and went into a flying spin kick and hammered that asshole Shane into the ground, "FUCK YOU!"
"Solid fog!" Nebula's haze hardened and blocked a gunshot meant for Mercury. The shooter was grabbed by the stone wall behind him and drawn into the wall.
Iolas had taken care of all the others in the upper room, his staff ablaze with his Light stone magic, "No HUNTER will come and save any of you." He grabbed Kitty by the back of her shirt and held her back before she would thrash Shane out of pure spite and looked to Mercury.
Mercury wobbled on the spot. Somehow, he had used all of his magic at once and his body didn't take the hard drop in power all too well.
Ararel now sure that they had got everyone pressed his hand against the boy's back, "Virgo dividet. Careful, don't overdo it." Amazed he stared at the shattered sword. 'Iolas, you didn't joke when you said he can be the powerhouse of a team…'
Nerrocean's magic subsided and his true form was revealed as he grabbed Clayton by his leg before the guy could even utter a word, "WE ARE THE HUNTERS." Nerrocean glared at Shane, now unmasked by Kitty. Shane got forced into the wall as well, stuck.
"Sound scythe!" Sienna cast and the door burst under the pressure of magic hitting it.
"Willow's grasp!" from the back door ominous dark vines shot into the main room.
"YOU'RE UNDER ARREST IN THE COUNCIL'S NAME!" Julius roared with the rest of the specialists downstairs as they marched in.
Snow stormed inside after Zhoron, "Freezing heart!" She hammered her hands down on the floor and with lightning speed it covered and trapped Officers wherever they were standing, sitting or lying.
Off guard, everyone in the bar was pinned down in the blink of an eye and anyone with a weapon got taken care of by the Council guards and knocked unconscious before they could even draw their gun or knife. The Officers had watched on their nice wide-screen downstairs what the first batch of Officers did to their little doll upstairs, waiting for their turn.
Every one of the kids upstairs was fine and there was no big commotion from downstairs after the initial encounter. So, Nerrocean drew a rune in the air, "Be right back, be a dear and wrap this up." He ordered Iolas.
As soon as the soupy dark water masses hit the high point it plunged down as quickly as it had shot up. Votzaak jumped over his console and raced to the front his eyes searching the black water masses crashing down. 'There!' he opened his hand drew magic in and sure as an arrow shot a beam into the water. The water puddled on the ground before it vanished into smoke, but the disguised agent floated up in the air fully clothed in a Black magic Hunter's tunic. There was no way that Votzaak or Nerrocean would let anybody see the naked body of a kid even if it was just a disguise. Slowly and gently Votzaak sat her down.
The agent wobbled in her stance. Her feet found hold but it didn't last. She fell to her knees staring at the seated people with an empty gaze, before her body dropped to the side.
In an instant Aithlin was at her side, before even his guards could reach her a gust of wind blew as he stopped. He caught the agent's head and upper body, "Quick!" He looked back at Votzaak, who already drew a magic circle.
The people in the Council hall stared at the big screen, once the water had fallen watching as Council guards and Hunter Division arrested all those Officers in the blink of an eye and now got unmasked one by one. The TMD had mixed in the feeds from their bracelets and all those cameras installed throughout the bar. Yet what baffled the officials wasn't the swift entry or outcome. It was the fact that students were running around in the frontline and weren't just bystanders. Not to mention that they were THERE.
Grandmaster Votzaak hurriedly kneeled down next to Aithlin. The Elf held up her head brushed away her hair and breathed out deeply, "That was way too close… what in Magix was Nerrocean thinking!?" Aithlin was tense the shock still in his bones and many in the hall didn't fare any better.
"He knows what he is doing, Nerrocean would never let any of our Hunters get hurt. He'd rather die," Votzaak commented and pressed his hand down on the Hunter's stomach. She was still under the effects of the drugs that already had been absorbed by the body. Votzaak concentrated sensed the stomach walls, pictured them in his mind pinpointed the alcohol and the drugs that hadn't dissolved yet. Once he knew what was what he set the content ablaze with a dark glow from his hand, carefully yet with a good amount of force. With the rune circle, he scanned the body. His magic spread throughout the agent and unexpectedly he got a feedback back from something with his own magic, "What in Magix…?" he mumbled to himself. He could feel a magic item between the collarbones. "Don't tell me…Aithlin, collar bones…"
Aithlin frowned and placed a hand above the chest to check as well, "Oh, by the… It's truly…" He didn't even dare turn around to the Professors. Yet his gaze wandered away from Blade up to the screen where he now saw the students take part in the arrest in the bar. "Definitely her…"
"Master Aithlin," Hurridly a Council guard healer gave a nod as he kneeled down next to them, "They made her curse herself," He showed Votzaak and Aithlin the screenshots. "And that red stone is magical and most likely some way to mind control or subdue her consciousness. Might be coated with something... so better not touch it." He updated them both and used his magic to get a read on the girl as well.
"One curse has a faint Black magic presence… Give me twenty seconds alone with all of those bastards - and I'll castrate all for free," Votzaak growled as he analysed the runes. "What bullshit constellations are…" He tried to make any sense of what Blade had created in her drunkenness to unravel it in the best way possible without any backfire. "I could just force through…"
"Let's not," Aithlin sighed and looked up over his shoulder to the seating rows, most people still stared at the screen, some just felt sick and looked anywhere else, the other Order Masters searched his gaze with a 'Is the agent okay?' And once he gave a slight impression of 'it's handled' they moved to watch the demasking and a few people rudely started at them unable to avert their gaze. Finally, his eyes met with Musa's, he gave a quick wave.
"I don't need a Fairy to…" Votzaak growled but the Guardian Fairy was already on her way down. Annoyed he swapped his attention to the stone embedded in Blade's skin. Votzaak sparked it with some magic, 'You'll follow Police commands without question. And answer every question asked with a -yes- …' It resounded in his head. "Oh, how original…" He rolled his eyes. 'Didn't Police and Council guard have a case where… that would mean…' He inspected the crystal surface indeed there was something smeared on it. "Don't touch that or you become a brainless doll." He warned Aithlin and the healers around Blade.
Musa had reached them and squatted down, "How can I help?" She asked directly. "What did they give her exactly?" Blade was heavily breathing and still squirmy and drooling.
"Your Fairy dust would be great, best weapon against Witch curses, so we can move on to healing without triggering anything…" Aithlin explained shortly. He held Blade's head gently to the side as the rest carefully turned her on her side.
"No problem," Musa grinned she pressed her hands together and a soothing quiet tune hummed. Musa pulled the hands apart and her pink and blue lampion flask appeared.
"The curses-" Aithlin was about to start pointing them out, but Musa already dusted away at the right spots. "Of course, you'd know. That's the Winx Club for you." Aithlin was somewhat impressed, selfcurses were even hard to spot for experienced healers.
"It's easy the curses disrupt her magic flow rhythm, I easily can hear that," Musa smiled as she broke them one by one and relieved watched the dark magic dissipate in smoke. "Wait, that one…Black magic? What could they have asked that it would gain…" She infused her dust with more Fairy magic to make it more effective.
"It's an assassin curse. They ordered her to kill William next time she sees him. He is safe. We have a team at his house," the Council guard healer answered.
Votzaak's gaze was that of a killer, "Aithlin, I beg you, give me just ten seconds, you'll never see those bastards ever again, no proof either."
"I don't doubt that, so NO," Aithlin dryly declined the request. Blade was still squirming in their hold. "She has alcohol poisoning and a drug overdose. We need to move her now."
"Eques Pallagis is already standing by on Yaggdrasor," The Council healer relayed the info.
"Pallagis?" Aithlin frowned, "Palladium's twin brother?"
"Professor Palladium has a twin?!" Musa done with her job was surprised. "All good on the curses side." She bottled up her flask again.
Votzaak seized Blade's arm with a tight hold left and right next to the memory ruby. "Wait, I'll block that and pause the drug's effects."
"But how? Even with Fairy dust, I wouldn't be," Musa watched in awe as the Councillor of Zenith lit up his Red Jade tattoos and they crawled along his skin and formed a seal first around the embedded ruby and then created some runes along the agent's skin.
The runes glowed up once more before with a big breath Blade blinked at first slightly disorientated. She felt the tight grip and Dark magic rushing through her system. Her sight went in and out of focus for a few seconds before she gasped and set up right straight away. She looked around. 'Those…' It was all clear in her head now. She had seen herself move answer the orders follow the commands. It was as if she had watched a video of herself, like a movie or a game. But she hadn't had the controls. "WHERE are they!?" Blade bared her teeth, "I'll…"
Relieved to see her currently up and awake as if nothing was wrong Aithlin addressed the young Fairy, "Blade, the only place you are going is the infirmary. You are in no condition to-"
"Blade?!" Musa squeaked and promptly quieted down, "You are… the real one!? But, but, I thought…why would Councillor Nerrocean; why would you...?" Musa was so shocked. This was the first time she saw and met the girl in person. 'Stella's right she is a hazard walking! Yet brave…' Musa had to smirk there. The Winx had done crazy shit in their school days as well and now she of all people wanted to scold her?
"Because enough is enough. No more double standards," Blade hit Musa with a fiery gaze. "…And that stupid Shane could tell me apart from other Sorceresses. I wasn't keen on going in, but no way in Magix would I let them get away with it. I had to risk it, besides, I wasn't alone. I was safe, always…" She said the last part more to herself as she squinted her eyes and tried to shake that numb feeling still lingering.
Votzaak inspected Blade a bit longer until he was satisfied and reacted to the rune Nerrocean had contacted him with. A shrill whistle as the Leprechaun stood up and gathered even more magic, "HEY! SIT DOWN!" He roared and commanded the crowds and with a few runes a portal opened. One could also see on the big screen in the hall that next to Nerrocean inside the bar the same kind of portal appeared.
Nerrocean dragged Clayton by his leg just in his trousers through the portal with him and reentered the assembly hall. Most people sat down or moved to take their place again. Nerrocean pulled Clayton towards the front rows in the middle seating wing where the Chiefs and Chieftain of the Police were seated. "NOW. Chieftain Conner," Nerrocean stared him down to some degree, "Do your job. Unless you don't want that seat, then get out of my sight." This was an ultimatum.
Chieftain Conner rose, "You, you want me to stay the head of the Police?" He was a bit baffled.
Nerrocean rolled his eyes annoyed, but of course, that was the first question on everyone's mind. And the people who had tried to leave now one by one were getting back to their seats after all. 'Politics. Tch.' Nerrocean clicked his tongue. "As I said, we checked everyone, thoroughly. The students liked your track record. Besides you don't stand in the way of progress, you supported it from the start. And with your forces diminished the next Chieftain would simply go under in the work up ahead. YOU are A PERSON. Not your FORCE. The Kids said they want you, so you got a second chance to make it up to them."
"WHAT!?" An uproar went through the rows never had such cruelty and sadism been revealed - at least not in such a way and in a live assembly to keep Conner was utter nonsense. They jumped off their seats once again.
"You are insane!"; "HE has no right!"; "That is not solely your decision!"; "You are rewarding him for letting something like THAT happen!" Angry roars and complaints rose from everywhere.
Nerrocean pinpointed the last guy, some noble in a Councillor's seat, "SHUT IT, ALL OF YOU!" A Dark magic shockwave erupted from him and shot through the room. "I'VE HAD IT! It's either ALL of US, since WE let this happen, just like ME, or the Professors, the Orders, the Sorceresses themselves! EVERYONE! Or ONLY the CRIMINALS!" He paused shortly, "WE let this happen. WE DID!" The most tragic realisation Nerrocean had had these past two months. Some were about to speak up again, but with one glare of Nerrocean's, they didn't dare to. "The ONLY reason that!" Councillor Nerrocean pointed to the screen, "Didn't become reality is, because the kids, the next generation got their asses up and said, ENOUGH IS ENOUGH! And they worked hard for it! More than most of you here ever did." Nerrocean growled pissed, "If the kids want Chieftain Conner they get him. He has the knowledge, the know-how, wisdom, attitude and most importantly CHIEFTAIN Conner has THEIR TRUST and his west was clean, I trust him, you elected me to LEAD Magix, SO you'll trust him." Nerrocean wouldn't debate this any further, that was more than clear and he was not out of bounce. The Councillor of Magix's position worked like an elected King, he had the last word. He even had the right to rule like one on this planet, but historically the Councillors in that position had acted upon what was decided by the majority of the Council since it was a joined planet of countless Kingdoms. "Chieftain Conner, if you please." Nerrocean glared down at Clayton, who was still as pale as a ghost, the man's wandering eyes still couldn't believe what was going on; where he was.
Chieftain Conner moved on as the last people were reaching their seats, "Of course." He nodded firmly and made his way downstairs being at the front it only was a few steps, 'So, the real Lucia…what she said on the stance…she said the truth and I… and yet all those Witches decided they want me?' He couldn't quite grasp it, even if Nerrocean might get overruled in the days to come Connor was more than eager and willing to at least do this, rectify his mistake.
"YOU!" an outcry of rage suddenly came from the middle of the stage in front of the auditorium. Blade with no warning whatsoever had jumped up and charged straight forward as she had spotted the guy. She crossed the stage in seconds.
"Blade…" Aihtlin tried to stop her quietly but Votzaak held him back.
"Let her…" Votzaak grinned amused and satisfied, "Let them hear it from her. Five more minutes won't make much of a difference, I paused the effects of the drugs."
Clayton watched as that stupid redhead, charged him again, "Got something to say you bitch! Come on, I dare you!" He hissed at her as finally his body decided to move again and he got up to his feet. 'If she makes a threat does just one mistake…'
But Blade straight out stampeded past him up the stairs, "WHO the fuck cares about you anymore? You're DONE." She dismissed Clayton and left him standing like a wet dog in the rain.
"I HAD YOU! YOU WERE MI-" A pain shot through Clayton's shoulder as Nerrocean pinched down on his shoulder nerve and brought him to his knees again.
'What is she doing?!' Nerrocean let his gaze wander she was long past the Chieftain or other targets of their observations. Then he saw it further up the stairs, 'We missed one!? But we…uuurgh,' Nerrocean couldn't believe it.
All eyes were on Blade, or rather 'the agent'. "YOU! You KNEW! You own that bar! CHIEF SIMON! WHY?! WHAT HAVE WE EVER DONE TO YOU!?" Blade was infuriated, livid, sick, and ferocious… she wanted to strangle that guy.
Chief Simon hadn't gotten to his seat yet, he still was a few steps above his row, yet stayed cool as he got approached by the Witch in disguise, "Calm yourself, agent. Maybe you should lie down…"
"And what bark? Give a paw, wiggle my ass for YOUR entertainment!?" Blade bared her teeth. She ground them, her skin was tingling from all her muscles tensing up.
Some Council guards already made their way to them. Slowly not to frighten the crowd or escalate things, but ready to dash if need be.
"I might own the bar, but what people do in there after they rent it out... How was I supposed to know that?" Simon deflected the question.
"OH?" Blade glared at him, "Then why don't you move? Make just ONE step, and I'll apologise," she dared him. She was ready to punch the guy only hate in her eyes.
The Chief's eyebrow twitched, Simone hadn't been able to move for some reason. That was the only reason why he was still standing there in basically the middle of the stairs with no crowd around. 'That bitch. But… an agent would never behave like this…wait a second, she is… she is the REAL one. That's not an agent! HA! AHAHAHA!' He smirked. 'Nerrocean you idiot. That will cost you your title, Councillor.'
But Blade smirked back, "You can't, right?"
"The Councillor's shockwave must have damaged a faulty rune," Simon chilled answered back and countered. "Ms Lucia, don't you think that was a bit too close for a sixteen-year-old student to handle? YOU are the REAL one, are YOU not? No Council agent would behave so – direct." He phrased it with such certainty. Then Simon looked past her, "Councillor Nerrocean is that how you unearthed that injustice by endangering the students you vowed to protect?"
Half the Professors of all schools jumped from their chairs. Avalon activated his aura reading, 'No way…'
Palladium slapped him against the shoulder, "Is that true… is that…" But he could already read his friend's expression of surprise. 'Is she stupid!? Why!? BLADE… you…'
"B-Lucia…" Griffin wide-eyed stared at Nerrocean. They all had thought that Blade had kept away from that stuff, even if the other students of theirs, were running around on the big screen making arrests. They thought Blade had been too scared and the Councillor wouldn't dare to – plus his choice of words. A silly notion on second thought. 'Blade…why?'
"I was NEVER in DANGER," Blade snorted at the half-assed attempt to squander Nerrocean's good name, "I had a TEAM at my side. I volunteered. The only reason why I WENT MYSELF was because that Officer Shane as a Paladin had analysed my magic presence for a month so intensely that the other agent was spotted straight away as a fake." Blade crossed her arms unimpressed. "You all spent a lot of TIME on getting that system up and running." She clawed into her tunic. There was no chance that that was their first try. There had to be others. Others who had been alone without backup. 'Those older Sorceresses!' She wanted to puke just from the thought of it. Yet her hate was greater, "Shall I tell you all here WHY our esteemed Chief can't move?" Blade asked into the hall. "Because he got hit by the spell of OUR TECHNO-MAGIC VIRUS. AMAL!" She called out to him.
And the boy with the help of the TMD put on screen the other raid sides all over Magix where viewers got arrested in their homes. 'Get him Blade! Make him pay…' Amal chuckled pleased. It was eye candy to finally see Blade have her moment. She was fearsome, strong, a warrior Queen on the battlefield. His heart pounded so fast for her. He watched proudly as everyone stared at the screens where more teams with and without students arrested Officers and citizens. The streams showed their computers or televisions glowed with runes with the Council symbol integrated somewhere along the rune lines.
Blade took a breath before she stared into the Chief's eyes, "We got you all, YOU'RE DONE," Blade had a wide smile on her face. "ALL of you."
"No…" Simon was shocked he looked at the little gadget he had dropped somewhere in the crowd as all had theatrically tried to leave in the prior uproar. A magic circle around it. The rune circle with the wave of one of the Council guards lid up and, on Simon's hand was the complementary one, as well, "YOU…DISPICABLE PEST! SCOURGE ON OUR HOLY LANDS! YOU ARE NOTHING!" Without warning the Chief lost it or rather didn't care any longer. "WE'LL NEVER BE DONE UNTIL YOU ARE BURNED FROM THE FACE OF THIS PLANET! OF ALL THE PLANETS!"
"That's enough!" The guards released the freeze and took him into the hold to escort him out but Simon struggled.
Blade signed them to wait, "Oh, no, I want to hear this. COME ON; tell me, why am I a scourge!?" Her rage itself was so strong that it was pounding inside her head. She grabbed him by his uniform.
"Yeah, please enlighten us," Nerrocean added and ordered the guards to stand by. He on the other hand was all calm and collected to the outside, 'Come on, dig your grave.'
Yet the guy didn't answer straight away. Blade tensed up she let go of his uniform and balled her fists, she trembled so hard, "Two months of this SHIT and I still can't understand why. What did we ever do to YOU? TO DESERVE THIS!" Blade butted heads with Simon in front of everyone. 'Fuck Court. I want an answer!' The guards were ready to stop them from going at each other's throats but so far didn't intervene on Nerrocean's order.
"What you did? You got to ask?! You attack, steal, thieve, LIE! DOMINO. DYAMOND! And those are only the last occasions where your presence, your scourge, ran rampage! Should I quote all the WARS for you!? All the times someone got killed, cursed? Lifes destroyed!? NOTHING GOOD WILL EVER COME OF WITCHES!" In Simon's eyes, Blade's hate reflected. As much as she hated him, he hated her.
Blade stared at him in disbelief, "Are you kidding me!? And what has that to do with ME!? I wasn't EVEN BORN back then!" Blade screamed into his face, she was so sick of all that bullshit talk. "We worked with William we proved to you that we CAN follow the LAW. That we make A POSITIVE IMPACT! YOUR ARGUMENT is already DISPROVEN!" She hissed at him.
"HA! As if that was the first con YOUR KIND pulled!" Chief Simon growled back at her and addressed everyone sitting in the hall, "WE ALL KNOW IT! This CHANGE WON'T LAST. It's nothing more than a DECOY. WITCHES DON'T CHANGE THEIR SCALES! They'll always BETRAY YOU. THEY CAN'T BE TRUSTED! They are EGOTISTICAL; HATEFUL; REVENGE LOVING; POWER HUNGRY MONSTERS!" He glared back at Lucia with utter disgust and spit in her face, "You want an example, where you lived!? DESERTIA! Not even half a year ago!"
'Gotcha,' Blade thought to herself as she wiped the spit of her face, the guards already a clawing grip on the Chief's shoulders after that unexpected stunt. "And I WASN'T ON DESRERTIA EITHER! COME ON, you are just full of CRAP. You can't even make a case for just one Witch?! PATHETIC! Tell me, WHAT did I DO to DESERVE to get RAPED!? Tell the TRUTH! - FOR ONCE BE A MAN!"
Squirming in the hold of the guards Simon faced the girl and roared into her face, "YOU EXIST!"
…
…
…
Silence. Everywhere.
'I exist?' Blade chuckled quietly, this was… 'That's his problem with Sorceresses?' It was like a knife to the heart. She had thought, hoped, that somehow, someday… But there were no bridges to be mended here, just an abyss of pure hate. "I exist?" Blade repeated, her mind still tried to make sense of it of two simple words. Shocked Blade stared at him, she still couldn't believe it. She wanted to hurl. There truly was no doubt in that man's mind. He was sure of himself, of his righteousness. He didn't say it because he was spitting insults or being boxed into a corner. He meant it. Full heartedly. It sent a shiver down Blade's spine. "That's my crime? I exist…" She giggled hurt in disbelief. "It's that simple, huh? Because I BREATHE?!" Blade's surprise vanished to pure rage. 'Time to shatter your damn world of righteousness and justice. You think you're oh-so-smart, don't ya…' Suddenly she hissed into his face, fletched her teeth and became as menacingly as possible. "Well, if that's the case then building bridges indeed is impossible! IF IT'S ALL ABOUT EXISTINCE…Then the one to last, hold out, AND COME OUT ON TOP will determine WHO has the RIGHT TO EXIST! AND IT WON'T BE YOU!"
The whole assembly was alarmed by her words. This most certainly would mean street wars.
Simon jumped the gun, 'Ha! Stupid girl!' Just for a second, he managed to step forward under the guards' grip if only an inch. "SEE THERE! You HEARD it! That's the TRUE FACE of all you BLACK MAGIC WITCHES! Just like YOUR HEADMISTRESS! BLACK MAGIC SCOURGE!" Simon was ready to attack her, and become a marter, but got held back by the guards forcefully. Still, he ripped forward as he got dragged backwards since this was getting out of hand in more than one way. "YOU! YOU ALL will regret that we didn't just FUCK that bitch to DEATH, then there still had been a chance! MARK MY WORDS!" Simon felt oh-so-high and might, 'Your kind never will change. So easy to trigger… so it'll be war after all. Fine. By. Me.' He grinned at her, "We don't need WITCHES! We got FAIRIES! You'll NEVER EVER hold a candle to THEIR PURE INNOCENT LIGHT! Your kind is OBSOLETE! And once I'm out, I'll fuck you up so hard you'd wish you had DIED TODAY - YOU WITCH!" He stemmed himself forward to hold his ground against the guards.
However, Blade's prior aggressiveness vanished on the spot, her face relaxed, her shoulders loosened, and her chest slowed down. A grin flitted over her lips. "Witch?" She smirked amused and breathed in deeply, calmed down. Took focus. And loudly yet calmly voiced, "For one, it's SORCERESS. And secondly, I AM A FAIRY!" Her emotions under control her focus found, Blade flared up her Light magic in full force. The security runes reacted. "Fairyedge!" She summoned her sword.
"Shit," Votzaak down below at the end of the stairs on the stage quickly counter-casted so the magic lightning from the security runes didn't hit her and instead got drawn into the ground around her. Not a second later he deactivated Blade's charm from a distance. 'That girl! Truly - smart move.'
The redhead vanished and the golden Dreadlocks came out. Blade stood there in the Hunter's tunic and victoriously grinned at Simon as she swiped the magic Fairy sword towards the floor, "Fairy of Blades, Charmix." She forced the transformation besides her low magic levels with a tiny burnout and her white wings spread, her outfit changed to her blue one. She hovered higher so she was eye to eye with Simon a few stairs higher. And in a trembling voice, she addressed Simon, "Did you REALLY THINK, any of us would let LUCIA GET HURT EVER AGAIN? There is more than one way to use Dark magic even as a Light magic user," She growled at him. "You're not SUPIRIOR… You're not RIGHTOUS… and most certainly not JUSTIFIED! YOU can't even tell a SORCERESS APART from a FAIRY!" Blade shouted pissed at him from up in the air. Her pure white wings humming. A tide grip around her Fairy sword.
Simon couldn't believe his eyes. He was utterly pale, speechless, "You-"
Blade raised her sword pointing at him. The guards just got a tiny bit twitchy, there. With the tip aming at the Chief she declared, "In the name of the Council you are under arrest. The only one obsolete in his position here is you, EX-CHIEF Simon." Blade disperced the sword, to ease the situation for the guards and dropped out of her transformation. A soft landing on her feet, she immediately turned around and walked down the stairs. She could feel her body was hit by the backlash and not used to that Red Jade stuff on her skin, plus she felt dizzy she had pushed a bit too far, by pure will she walked straight on as if this was nothing. "Oh, and treat him well guards. He is HUMAN after all, even if DISGUSTING." She added a bit forced but she still believed in it. 'Not that he has earned it.'
Chieftain Conner stared at Blade as she walked past him down the stairs. He followed close behind. 'Blade… and Lucia… Could it be? Griffin joked at the hearing, but maybe…Are they the same person? Wait, she said she had to go because of the magic presence… was that part of their roose right now or? ...How long did she pretend to be Lucia?'
"You - you…" Clayton stared at Blade horrified, "You are a F-f-fairy?" He stared at her as if he had done some sacrilege.
Never ever had Blade seen that facial expression from him. 'Is that regret in his eyes?!' Blade wasn't sure if she should feel more insulted now. Expectantly she looked to Chieftain Conner as she took her place next to Nerrocean, who placed a hand on her back and flodded her with some more Dark magic. He had already sensed she had overdone it. The magic flowing throughout her body was a warm comforting sensation and calmed her raging thoughts.
Conner had reached them and now towered over Clayton, "And I defended you. Believed you." The Chieftain still couldn't grasp it. "OFFICER CLAYTON, you are hereby demoted and expelled from the Police force, You are not allowed to return, EVER AGAIN. I place you under arrest in the name of the Council. TAKE HIM OUT OF MY SIGHT." He addressed the Council guards who stood by and now finally could take him away.
Clayton spoke not another word, he kept staring at his hands as if he was horrified by what he had done, "A Fairy…" He whispered to himself.
Connor couldn't care less, "I am profoundly sorry Councillor Nerrocean," he bowed deeply before him. "I'll make it up to you and all the students. Thanks for finding-"
The whole room was still tense. Assemblies normally were so boring, so much emotion got everyone riled up and anxious even if they hid behind their porcelain faces. Nerrocean laughed out loud, "HA! But dear Chieftain Conner, if it had just been those few amongst your ranks. Surely, you'd found them yourself. You ARE a capable man that's why I want you," Nerrocean grinned, "Please, students take THE REST of the dump out." He ordered pleased. 'You didn't think we were done now, did you?' He already had his sight set on the row of chiefs.
From all around the room more Council guards with students, who had snuck in in the commotion from all teams decloaked.
Dusk stepped up first, "Chief Michelle, in the name of the Council you are under arrest for indictment of crime and smuggling of banned magic items."
"WHAT?!" Chief Michelle rose from her chair. "Where is the proof?!..." She could only watch as the screen changed and a bunch of photos and documents were displayed by Amal.
Birdy smirked, "Why so surprised? We did check ALL of you, thoroughly. Chief CARTER in the name of the Council you are hereby under arrest for embessalment of Council funds and bribery."
"Oh, yeah," Tessa giggled amused, "You should join them as well Chief Albert. You are under arrest in the name of the Council for incitement of the people and cooperation with criminals. Please stand up," She grinned happily at him and watched his eyebrow twitch. Yet they were smart and stayed silent, unlike Simon.
Tasu was more in the back of the assembly hall, "Councillor of Espero, you are under arrest in the name of the Council for incitement of a crime. Please, if you'd be so kind to follow the guards."
"What no, I'd never…" The Councillor of Espero shut up as the video started to play.
On the big screen, an Officer approached the Councillor super nervously, "I, it was an accident and that stupid bitch just ran. And I know it was my fault but the car is shit now, that can't be fixed if I… please, you got to help, we are Cousins. Can't you do anything…?"
The Councillor of Espero went pale, "You. You spied on me in my own office?! OUTRAGES!"
Serina stepped in, "Oh really? That 'bitch' was a Sorceress and we didn't spy on you, but your dear Cousin. You should have said no." She glared at him. "In the name of the Council, Official Marius, you are guilty of altering official papers." She continued the arrests.
Next up was Polarissa, "Offical Bruno, in the name of the Council…" Followed by a couple more callouts inside the assembly hall. The Council could only watch and whisper as several members of officials and Councillors got arrested.
As Nerrocean watched proudly and pleased with the arrests of the kids he leaned slightly over to Blade and whispered, "You got to go for Yaggdrasor, Blade, that Red Jade won't hold off the effects of the drugs and ruby forever. The rest is just boring statistics, you saw them already…"
"Right…" Blade felt that her body wasn't all too happy even with the infusion of magic through Nerrocean. "Can I say one more thing though? ...To them?" She asked quietly.
"That won't get you - sure, go and try…maybe I'm wrong," Nerrocean cleared his throat once more loudly as everyone in question in the hall had been called out and gotten arrested. Everyone else stared back at the Councillor. He gestured Blade to go ahead and her voice got projected through the magic runes.
Blade's heart was pounding but she just had to get it off her chest, "I know Sorceresses can be a pain in the ass, alright? Working together is not easy. - But it never is, we are people with faults, no one is perfect. Your predecessors managed to create a Council; end wars between Kingdoms; secure peace… and I am grateful for that. I am grateful that you keep the peace. But quite frankly, WHAT THE HECK DO YOU THINK THEY TRIED TO ACHIEVE?! Was it all so you can sit in comfy chairs now and just be happy with what you have?! Decide if the next park flowers are purple or pink!? Seriously! That!" She pointed behind her at the screen where all their proof had been displayed tonight. "That- is so fucked up. WE have PEACE! Times are stable! This is NOT the TIME to sit on YOUR HANDS! This is the TIME when you GO OUT THERE and CHANGE things! Where YOU make PROGRESS! In war… or whenever the next Black magic threat or whatever is knocking at OUR doors, you won't have time for THIS BULLSHIT! You BUILD the bases OUR GENERATION has to work within the FUTURE! The Kingdom WARS ARE OVER! How can you just SIT here and smile, discrimination, witchisim is NOT new! You had years, decades, CENTURIES! And all you have to show for is a bunch of students who finally had enough?! WHAT IS YOUR VISION?! If you are already satisfied then vacant your seats and make way for the NEXT SUCSESSOR!" Blade's gaze wandered the rows and while some actually took it to heart most looked at her, like she was a child. Many gazes hit her with all kinds of attitudes.
Wishful thinking; rude kid; with the 'it isn't so easy' look; A lot felt for her, she had just been through something horrible after all even if with backup; the nothing will change attitude; I tried, but failed; it's not my fault; Witches don't want change… It was all there written on their faces.
Blade's vigour vanished not even a third here looked like they were ready for action or ready to jump into the discussion of how to better things at least. After all their work, and all the proof this reaction felt so lukewarm. Blade closed her eyes so hard and trembled in anger. "REALLY?!" She thundered, "All you have is PITTY AND SILENCE!?" No one answered her directly. She trembled so hard her body was shivering.
Councillor Nerrocean laid a hand on her shoulder, he had expected as much and nodded to the healers who were to escort her to Yaggdrasor, 'I'm sorry Blade. I'll do my best. Indeed, things have to change and now is the time.'
Blade brushed his hand off as wrath boiled up inside her, 'No! This is not- Where is our lasting victory!?'
Her aura changed the colour of the pattern, Avalon knew this one all too well, "Not good…" He swung over his desk in the first row in the right wing and rushed towards Blade, he knew unchecked that would destroy everything she had accomplished today. "BLADE…" He addressed her to draw her focus and stop her rampage before it would get any more out of hand. 'Come on, Blade, be smart…' he searched for her eyes.
"WHAT?!" Blade pinned Professor Avalon down as their eyes met, "WE did everything, RIGHT! We have PROOF! We WON! We gave it OUR BEST!" Distraught she looked at him.
"I know…" Avalon slowed down as he was close enough now, he was loud enough yet his voice was gentle. "You did well, all of you."
"Then WHY!? They should be up on their seats, shouting INJUSTICE!" Blade didn't understand and quite frankly many of the students didn't either, especially the Sorceresses amongst them. But their team leaders kept them in check.
"Politics are complicated, Blade. In a system change needs time there are many more things to consider than what you can think of at the top of your head." Professor Avalon took her seriously and yet was picture-perfect in manners towards the Council.
"TIME?! Seriously?! What's there to consider? That SHIT is wrong! It needs to be STOPPED! THEY have the power to stop this!" Blade growled annoyed her voice like a dragon roar trembled in her chest. She had it. All those gazes, lukewarm reactions when it actually concerned proper change, lasting change. Enough was enough. Furiously she turned to face the Council yet again, "How dare you call Headmistress Griffin a BLACK MAGIC WITCH?! The only Black magic I see here is your fucking SPELL OF IGNORANCE!" She properly lost it as she addressed all those seated before her Avalon stepped up to her and held her back with one arm. She was like a bloodhound ready to pounce. 'Fucking Court, shit, my ass! I'll…' Her thoughts darkened her aura turned blackish. Ready to give all these important shitheads another piece of her mind.
Nerrocean was already considering how to resolve this quickly, 'Crap, I should have-'
When a serene voice echoed out from above her Professors who were too riled up to help out Avalon, "You have my sympathies, Blade Ashfallow, all of you students in fact," Grandmaster Parcival spoke up to help his subordinate out and rose from his seat. A strong man big and muscles, clean short-cut blond hair. A mighty Paladin to behold indeed in White Jade robes. He had read her aura as well and understood why Avalon had jumped to the rescue. A faint aura spread out from him as he had undetected by nearly all cast his spell. 'The girl is right what a shame to see the Councillors all silent like that unwilling to reply. Yet it would be foolish to do so right now, not like this. Politics are complicated after all.' Grandmaster Parcival was calm and collected and in no way aggressive or looking down on Blade, "If it were so easy to stop, we already would have stopped it, young Lady. The past is not so easily forgotten."
"I don't need them to forget the past! We need to mend bridges! Forgive! Forgiveness doesn't mean to forget!" She still pulled forward. Yet Avalon's arm slightly slung around her chest prevented it. "It means to move on and not be stuck in the past!" Blade hissed, yet also calmed down just a bit as she rephrased her Professor from their past talks. Something about that Grandmaster's words was very soothing, she couldn't stay as angry as she had been. There was a faint magic presense from him it was hard to pick up on though. Yet Blade felt her heart slow, her thoughts clear up even her posture relaxed.
Parcival chuckled once, "I see you study diligently from your Professor. Let me expand on that thought. Here's the problem with forgiveness. It has to be GIVEN. And people have a really hard time with that. They hold on to their pain. People drink their anger and pain like poison and they do it because they hope their enemies die from it." The White Jade Grandmaster paused. His aura spell took its full effect. No uncontrollable rage, a calm demeanour sprouted in the Fairy. "Thing is. Only the one drinking the poison will die from it." He waited for the girl's answer.
"…So, then they should just stop being stupid and stop drinking the poison," Blade countered a bit confused. "It will get us nowhere." She gestured a tad widely now that Avalon had let go of her.
Parcival smiled amused, "Indeed, one should. But tell me, Young Blade, can you forgive the traitors that are responsible for the death of Queen Jewels?" He wasn't aggressive it wasn't to hurt her. He simply wanted her to reflect on herself.
"WHAT!?" Blade responded pissed as well as ALL the students in the hall.
'It's not always so easy if the hurt runs deep…Not at all.' Parcival breathed in deeply closed his eyes shortly and then answered, "You should address this assembly once more when you have been able to forgive them," Parcival interlaced his fingers as he focused his spell unnoticed on the Fairy. "They'll not just listen to you then, but also hear you." He looked kindly upon the young Fairy and her friends. 'Good, my aura spell is taking its effect even on them. And her - Blade shouldn't stress her body any more than this…' Parcival set down again.
'Forgive them?!' Blade had worked so hard on it. She had forgiven herself. The students had forgiven each other. Yet just the thought that still traitors were running around freely…it made her skin crawl. "But…" Blade countered, stopped, her brain was racing, "Just because I am stupid, doesn't mean you have to be, Grandmaster. That's just a bullshit reasoning, you're the elder one, here."
"HA!" Parcival laughed that was an unexpected answer, "Wisdom doesn't come through age. It comes through learning from mistakes and applying the knowledge. As much as I can teach you, you can teach US ALL something valid. Be assured there are those who HEAR you already. The victory is yours. I assure you none of your efforts are wasted." He brought the little philosophy lesson to a close since Blade had calmed down because of his aura spell. The crisis was averted and he vaded the spell.
"Tch. As if, we could EVER LEARN something from Black magic users like Witches!" An Official in the middle rows stood up. All stared at the guy perplexed as he walked to the front. "You can do in your Orders whatever you want. But you want to work with Witches within the Council? I quit, Councillor Nerrocean," He announced firmly and pressed his official badge against Avalon's chest as he was closer. "You only teach her how to find a quick death, TRUSTING WITCHES, what BULLSHIT." He warned the Professor and turned towards Blade. "That Simon was wrong in his deeds, it was heinous what he did, no debate about that. That doesn't mean that he was wrong. A Black magic scourge, as HE put it, will never become a sun. The CHANGE you are wishing for will only bring calamity. Get well soon, Blade Ashfallow," He bowed and rose again and a grin flitted over his lips.
Blade stared wide-eyed as she watched him grin. Her breath got stuck. 'How could anyone after all this? How?! We proved! We…why!? It's as clear as…' Her mind raced. All those pictures from the bar. The cell. The stakeouts. She teared up, how could anyone agree only to disagree? Her heart pounded in her head, her hands felt sticky from the sweat. 'Is hate so much stronger than… I thought we… foolish. Was it for nothing? All we wanted were safe streets…' She made a step towards that Official to address him, yet everything got a bit blurry before her eyes and she halted.
Avalon had ignored the guy even as he pressed his badge against his chest. He was worried for Blade. They had 'fixed' the body temporarily but the mind, the soul...There was no spell to save her from this realisation that this fight might never end, there always was the next guy. With a lightning step, Avalon was at her side again pressed his hand against her back as he feared she might topple over and turned her around to leave through one of the doors downstairs. He pushed her along, "Let's go…you need to rest, enough fighting – for today…" He looked to Votzaak expectantly.
Votzaak stared at the guy, 'Fuck… of course one of that faction would…uuurgh, now everyone knows who to contact if they want to find like-minded… just great… and now that he isn't in the Council anymore and he hasn't done anything we can't even surveillance him. He is a private person and to quit his job because of personal beliefs is not enough reason. Not to mention some asshead will give him an even better-paid job.' His eyes met with the Professor's. "Excuse us…" Votzaak simply stated and followed the two a watchful eye on the rows once more. 'She, they, made allies today and even bigger enemies…'
The two had already made it out and the door closed behind them. "But why…" Blade couldn't keep it together anymore. Out of range of Parcival's spell - She still wasn't enraged any longer, but… Tears streamed down her face as they stopped right outside the door in the hallway. "We did…we… why?" Her mind couldn't comprehend what just had happened. It felt as if her victory was never achieved, besides what Parcival had just stated.
"Blade, breathe," Avalon tried his best to help her. The guards outside already stepped closer to see how they could help as well. "You won the battle, don't sell yourself short." He tried to encourage her.
"The battle!?" Blade's breath shortened. "We - that was supposed to be the end of the war!" She was distraught. Her arms flailed around and ended up clawing into her professor's suit. She simply was overwhelmed by her feelings.
Votzaak slipped through the door from the assembly hall, "IT was the end of the war with the Police on Magix. I can assure you that. Chieftain Conner will extinguish any lingering sparks with Master Nerrocean, saw his eyes?" He already flared up magic for the portal, worried for his king's subject and little spitfire that had grown on him. "We're going Yaggdrasor to the herb gardens of the Yaggdronus Order…" He updated Avalon. Saddened Votzaak watched Blade having a hard time as her Professor held her steady at her shoulders and slightly kneeled before her. The Kids inside didn't fare much better, their team leaders had led them on with their escorted arresties, quickly. 'For the kids, this has been the world. Understandable. And yet it was just another step in the right direction. A big one, but in the face of such hate it feels like nothing...it's always the same. It's never enough.' The Leprechaun sighed deeply. He had lived through millennia and yet with all the improvement, there was always something to do. Something missed. He balled his hands, 'How did I? …Shit.' He refocused on his portal spell and finished it.
The swirly dark portal opened and runes glimmed around it. The first guard already stepped through. "Come on…" Professor Avalon proudly smiled at Blade. But the girl couldn't let go, she simply stood there and balled her eyes out as the pressure of the mission and carrying all this finally subsided. He gave her a moment longer before he freed his attire from her grasp and gently guided her towards the vortex. 'Those…kids…truly. Amazing…'
"BLADE!" It suddenly echoed loudly through the hallway. Full of worry and so much pride.
Blade looked over her shoulder. Mercury. Her heart sped up. He was panting heavily sweat dripping in streams from his skin. 'He must have dashed the whole way here…' Blade stopped and couldn't help but smile brightly under her tears.
'She's alright. Safe.' Mercury breathed out in a tremble, 'Why is she crying though? We won, we did it!' Yet all that didn't matter. Not now. Nothing could make him happier, all his worries, his aching pain was gone with just one smile of hers. "Blade, I-" He started off yet paused. "I…" Mercury's heart pounded. There she was, he had run off, he just had to see her, to know she was alright. His feelings were clearer than ever before to him. He knew what he wanted, the words at the tip of his tongue, yet he couldn't. He knew she was interested in Amal and they were dating. And after all this work another war was the last thing she needed. That was clear to him as he saw her red eyes. "No." He chuckled, "We did it…We got Shane and the others." He smiled back at her with a bright white grin.
Votzaak rolled his eyes slightly unseen, 'He needs a backbone as well…' He addressed Avalon and Blade, "We go to go. That spell of mine won't hold much longer." He concerned pointed out.
Amal's fingers flew over his keyboard. He had zoomed in on his task. His mission wasn't finished yet. While the others had arrested people in the hall. He had coordinated all those teams to pick up those online viewers. Like a mantra, he muttered to himself yet again, 'Not one of you will hurt her ever again! I promised her. I'll make sure of that. I'm no good in the field, but no one beats me at the console… how dare you use my turf against her!' Amal knew the plan. He knew Blade was safe he had seen her stand up. Listen to her speech with one ear. Rallied by her words nothing could stop him now, not even the Council guard who had offered to take his place. Give him time to rest and see her off.
The guard stood beside the little intern baffled by his strategic thinking and effectiveness. Not to mention that he kept scanning the common magicWeb pages AND the more hidden ones where one would distribute the videos from the bar. TMD and he himself indeed had caught some forwarded streamings and simply had faked numbers and blocked access for real viewers and tried to locate the streamers as well and that hunt only continued. Amal was like a bloodhound. He found them faster than anyone else. 'He indeed is an analytical mastermind and computer genius.' The guard just got an update via Psi. "Last chance to see her before she leaves for Yaggdrasor. Really, I can take over and…"
"I am where Blade needs me to be. I promised her I wouldn't let anyone see her like that or escape justice. She knows I have her back. Blade counts on me," Amal simply stated as he typed in the next command. "Team Rho next one is at Downtown Alley sixty-nine." He relayed the information over the intercom. 'You won't hurt my Warrior Queen, NONE of you!'
