zachycards: Hello fellow reader and/or author, and welcome to the next chapter and the next installment of my fanfic "Going In Almost Completely Blind". Here is the disclaimer, I do not own the anime CardCaptors, in any sort of possible or conceivable way, in any sort of possible or conceivable shape, or in any sort of possible or conceivable form. I also do not own any of the other anime associated with it, in any sort of possible and conceivable way, in any sort of possible and conceivable shape, or in any sort of possible and conceivable form. I do not own anything in this story, in any sort of possible and conceivable way, in any sort of possible and conceivable shape, or in any sort of possible and conceivable form, except me, myself, and I. I am not making money off of this, in any sort of possible and conceivable way, in any sort of possible and conceivable shape, or in any sort of possible and conceivable form. I also do not own the rights to the anime CardCaptors, in any sort of possible and conceivable way, in any sort of possible and conceivable shape, or in any sort of possible and conceivable form. Or any of the other anime associated with it, in any sort of possible and conceivable way, in any sort of possible and conceivable shape, or in any sort of possible and conceivable form. The anime CardCaptors does belong to, and it will always belong to Clamp, in every sort of possible and conceivable way, in every sort of possible and conceivable shape, and in every sort of possible and conceivable form. So, now that the disclaimer is out of the way, let us now move on to the 7th chapter. But, however, before I do, let me just go and reiterate once again to all the readers who are reading this fanfic. That, I am typing out all of the chapters in all of my in progress fanfics. That are a tad bit below, or are indeed very much below at least one thousand overall words in the chapter length. The reason that I am doing this is largely due to the fact, and largely because I was very unhappy with how those chapters looked. It was because I felt that I did not put in enough effort with regards to writing each of them. I am also going to do my absolute and complete diligence to try and write every single episode of these anime into an actual chapter of at least one thousand words in length. The only chapters that I am going to try and skip, are chapters that I do not feel are at all or very practical for me to try and, or even attempt to write in the first place. And one more thing, please look and hear me out for a moment. I know and I also understand, that you may or may not have a busy schedule outside of reading fanfics, but for once, can you at least take some time out of your life to at least leave a review on any one of my fanfics? I will happily take your criticism. I do not bite, at least, the last time that I had checked, I am very much sure that I do not. And any sort of correction you would like me to make, and I will do my absolute best to make it happen, within some sort of reason of course. But anyways, now that I am done rambling on, I think it is now time to move on to the 7th chapter. I just really hope that all of you that are reading this, along with all of my other fanfics, can all appreciate the time I have put into this. I am doing all that I can to make sure that all of these chapters have a good amount of effort put into each of them. But because of my current busy schedule, I am now finding it more and more difficult to get these chapters all done in an effective and timely manner. But I digress, I thin it is now finally time after all of this rambling to finally move on with the 7th chapter.

Chapter 7: The Mysterious Painting

They say that a picture is worth a thousand words. Well, they were right. And I was finding it somewhat awe inspiring, as Sakura continued drawing a portrait of Kero, who was having a rough time staying still for it.

"Can you hurry it up!" Kero said.

"Almost done" Sakura said.

"Hang tight Kero, I'm sure Sakura will be done shortly" I said, in an attempt to reassure the guardian beast of the seal. Who I was pretty sure was starting to cramp up from keeping still for this long a time.

Okay, so things really hadn't gone according to plan with regards to the capturing of our latest Clow Card.

After running into a girl. Well a girl who had been hiding her hair under a hat to hide the fact that she was a girl, claimed that one of the pictures at the towns museum had had something done to it. Kero then told us that it was in fact the work of a Clow Card. Which was the Silent Card. This was made a little more embarassing by the fact that Sakura and I, were once again dressed up in another one of Madison's ridiculous battle outifts. Sakura was dressed in a green, purple and black outfit, with a purple checker design on both of her stockings. And bat wings on her back. (A/N: Her episode 7 battle outfit).

While I was dressed in something similar, except instead of it being green, purple and black, the colors were dark blue, dark purple, and black. And bat wings also adorned my back.

However, like I said, things had gone completely off script, any time that any of us tried to get close to the painting, and any of us made any sort of noise when we were that close.

This would wind up with the Silent Card spirit opening her eyes, and then transporting us back outside of the museum again. And to tell you the truth, after about the fourth time, I was starting to get really sick of it.

And it wasn't until I had suggested, that instead of us going to the Silent Card, and risk getting transported outside again if we once again made any noise once we had gotten close to it. That we should instead use the Shadow Card to extend our shadows through the window, and up to the painting that the Silent Card inhabited. That way neither Sakura or I or Madison and the girl who was with us, had any sort of risk of being transported outside again.

And so, without wanting to waste another second, I pulled out the Shadow Card from my pocket, and Sakura and I then raised our respective staffs. "Shadow Card, come to our aid, Shadow, Release and Dispel!" Sakura and I chanted in unison, as we hit the Shadow Card at the same time with the tips of our respective staffs.

However, despite the Shadow Card extending both of our shadows, they still weren't long enough to get inside the window, and up to the painting that the Silent Card spirit inhabited.

But, Madison was quick to solve this problem for us. By shining a flashlight that she had brought with her on our respective shadows, which gave them the extension that they needed to get into the window, and right up to the painting that was being inhabited by the Silent Card spirit.

And so, without wanting to waste another minute, Sakura and I then raised our respective staffs, whilst facing our shadows that had been extended by the Shadow Card, towards the painting that the Silent Card inhabited.

"We command you to return to you power confined, Silent Card!" Sakura and I chanted in unison, as we swung our respective staffs down at the same time.

And once the silent card spirit was sucked into our respective card halves, that had materialized on the tips of our respective staffs, and both card halves had combined together into a complete clow card, the Silent Card was sealed.

"Well, I guess it is true what they say, a picture is worth a thousand words, or in this case, a painting" I said, which I followed up with a kind halfhearted chuckle, which wound up earning one from Sakura as well.
