Disclaimer: Another day, another season of Paw Patrol X! F.M. and her friends are back for their fourth time bringing you exciting times! I think you can tell what this season is going to revolve around with the name of the arc alone, but just as a warning for those who are uncomfortable by this, this season will have transphobia in it. And yes, the pups will point out how wrong that is. It won't be in this chapter, but it will be in the season. But anyway, without further ado, let us begin the Land and Sea arc!

Also, I don't own Paw Patrol.

Paw Patrol X

Land and Sea arc Episode one: Clashing Waves Part One

In some kind of water surrounded city, a battle was going on between Charm and a dark entity. Charm was wearing a wizard's cloak, and kicked back the dark entity before backflipping out of the path of its dark laser. The entity then started taunting Charm while staring him down. "Foolish puppy! Your death only grows near!"

"Do not underestimate me Demon Blood;" Charm called back, and then he spoke proudly of who he was now. "For I am the reformed canine Charm, warrior of peace!" After waiting for a couple seconds, Charm backflipped in place and pulled out some kind of laser cannon that he aimed at the demon blood. "NOW EAT THIS SUCKA!"

Charm shot the demon blood with the laser cannon, causing him to be engulfed by the light. As soon as he was hit, he screamed out his final words, which were in pain and agony. "NO! MY ONLY WEAKNESS! DETERMINATION!" Thankfully, he exploded before he could start crying like a little girl.

In the present, a familiar Dalmatian pup was revealed to be holding two figurines; one of Charm in a wizard cloak, and one of a dark entity. She spoke in her regular voice after she was done. "And that's the end."

F.M. set the figurines down with Charm, Ryder, and Richie revealed to be watching as Richie asked F.M. to elaborate. "The end of what?"

"Charm's turnaround." F.M. answered, being quite confident in how well things would go for Charm. Her optimism shined through once again as she stated her thoughts on the story. "I think I made a strong prediction."

Ryder didn't want to shoot F.M. down, but pointed to Charm's bracelet to remind her of something else. "Charm's turnaround is why we brought him with us."

"First of all, Charm WANTS to attend Marshall's birthday party, so it's not an inconvenience to him." F.M. reminded Ryder, assuring him that mandatory arrangements weren't a drawback. "Second of all, I talked to Charm about it right before we got on the ferry. He shouldn't have any issues with trying to change, as long as we allow him to do so."

"And after seeing that display, I'm adding that I don't have to say anything as dorky as that if I DO fight my demon blood." Charm stated, and F.M. could tell he was feeling despondent.

F.M. saw Charm looking at his bracelet and decided to fill him with some more hope. "I know these past couple months have been hard on you Charm. They've been hard for all of us." Charm looked at F.M., who continued to comfort him the best she could. "You haven't given into your demon blood urges once since you've lived in Adventure Bay. If that doesn't show me you're making progress, then I don't know what will. And, if you keep up the good work, we might be able to take that bracelet off of you soon."

Charm looked at the bracelet again with a more insightful look than despondent. Ryder also let F.M. know of one thing he wanted her to do during the trip. "Just keep an eye on him, okay?"

"I won't let you down!" F.M. assured Ryder, and then she got up and took Charm's paw with excitement in her eyes as she made him an offer. "Cmon Charm; let's get you a good view of Twin Flame Island before we arrive at the dock."

"I suppose the scenery would be more pleasant than Chase's posterior." Charm accepted jokingly, and then he and F.M. headed off with Ryder and Richie nodding to each other before leaving the room themselves. F.M. was right about Charm making progress, but they knew his very presence could cause tension on the ferry, whether he asked for it or not.

F.M. and Charm rejoined the others at the front of the ferry, where they were all doing things to pass the time. Chase and Zuma were arm wrestling at one table with Rocky cheering Zuma on with Melody while holding her, and Skye and Rubble cheering Chase on. Snow was drawing something with Everest watching her at work while Claw was eating like a pig, much to Sweetie's disgust as he burped loudly. This also annoyed Snow and made Everest laugh a bit. Marshall was thinking about the fact that he was now a teenager while leaning on the fence of the ferry.

F.M. put a paw on Charm's shoulder to get his attention as she gave him some advice on how to pass the time. "I'm gonna go see if Snow's finished with that drawing. Maybe you can use this to get a view of Twin Flame Island."

That sounded like a good idea to Charm. He'd never been to Twin Flame Island before. Regardless of distance, a first view was always helpful. "I suppose that would be nice. At least to know how big a town of others kept away from the real world is like."

"You'll love it. Oh. I also have a surprise for you once we get there." F.M. informed Charm, allowing him to head over to the fence as she went over to Snow to check on her drawing.

Marshall continued leaning on the fence, leading to him and Charm noticing each other when he did the same. They were a couple feet away, but they were more than close enough to hear each other. The two looked away as they tried to think of how to start a conversation. They hadn't interacted much, and Marshall's head scratch proved that him not knowing how to talk to Charm was a part of that. Despite wanting to try and forgive Charm, he wasn't sure how to do so. "Pretty ocean."

"Yes." Charm responded. And then it was clear that one of his own quirks also played a part in that. "Many have drowned in it before."

Marshall flinched at the mention of death, and Charm got the sense that he messed up before Marshall spoke up again. "Interesting..."

Claw saw the conversation full circle and groaned at the sight of Marshall and Charm trying to be friends. "Consider yourself lucky you don't live with us Sweetie."

F.M. sighed in response to Claw's thoughts on Charm. He still wasn't open to the idea of him changing. She decided to distract herself by looking at Snow's drawing again. She was just about done, and the other four sitting at the table were more than impressed. F.M. even kissed Snow as part of her praise. "Once again Snowflake, you've outdone yourself!"

The photo was shown to be of F.M. and everyone else standing together as friends with Snow pointing out one detail. "Thanks. I wasn't sure who to pair Charm with."

"At least you didn't have him and Claw shouting at each other again." Everest joked, leading to Snow giggling a bit at how lucky that was indeed.

Claw chimed in upon that joke, admitting that if there was one thing he felt bad about with him and Charm hating each other, it was how uncomfortable it made the others. "About that. I'm sorry, again, about when we blew up yesterday." F.M., Snow, and Everest looked at Claw as he opened up about his thoughts on the situation. "I just can't help thinking about how he used me whenever I look at him. I hate what Slash did to him; obviously. But whether or not he IS changing for the better, which I still find hard to believe, that doesn't change what he did to me."

F.M. decided to chime in on that and front flipped off the table into a chair next to Claw. He was surprised by her sudden move before she asked him something. "Do you think it's possible you'll open up to forgiving him one day?"

Claw was about to answer, but then he thought about it for a few seconds. He then figured that the concept of forgiving Charm wasn't... impossible. Slim, but not impossible. He begrudgingly admitted this to F.M. "Perhaps. He did help us stop Slash. Although, I'm not exactly up for becoming best friends right now."

F.M. smiled after Claw said that, taking his paw to remind him that his feelings were valid too. "And no one's forcing you to. Just give it some thought, okay?"

"I'll try." Claw answered, and F.M. hugged him before going back to sitting next to Snow. Claw still found it hard to see that Charm was trying to be a better canine. Even though he admitted to the possibility of forgiving Charm, he still didn't want anything to do with him.

F.M. and the others were now in the town of Twin Flame Island with F.M. showing Charm the Munroe family house, which was pretty close to the docks. She was more than excited to show him where it all started for her and Marshall. "Charm, welcome to the Munroe family home!"

Charm got a good look at the house, which seemed rather cozy. It had two stories, which was less than what Charm had, but it felt... warm, when he looked at it. He could sense that F.M. and Marshall really loved living here. "It's beautiful. I can see why you liked it here."

"Just wait until you see the inside!" F.M. replied, and then she looked to Marshall as she walked over to him. "I'm gonna show Charm around our house so he knows where to go for everything. And as soon as I'm done with that, we'll get started on preparing for when you get your big dog bark!"

Marshall gave his younger sister a thumbs up to show he was okay with that. "Sounds great sis. Just don't take too long." F.M. gave him a birthday hug before running ahead, grabbing Charm's paw and bringing him inside to show Charm around. After greeting his mom and sister inside of course. As everyone else went inside, Marshall put a paw on Chase's shoulder to stop him. "Chase?" Chase looked at Marshall and gave him his full attention. "You're Charm's parole officer. What's he like when you talk to him?"

Chase quickly caught onto what Marshall was trying to do. Wanting to help, he told him what he could. "He still has some things in common with his old self. He's still impatient, and he still has a sense of crazy in him when it comes to stuff he finds fun." Marshall started to get worried, but Chase then reassured him of his desires being possible with what he said next. "However, he's also lost. He feels alone, even with the support F.M. and Rocky always give him. Ever since he learned he was used as a puppet by Slash and Trickery for so long... he's changed a lot."

Chase also opened up a bit about how he related to Charm in that sense. "I can actually relate to him now. Even after I found my therapist last month, I'm still struggling a lot with the doubt I've been facing since I was abandoned." Chase shook his head to get those memories out of his head. Now wasn't the time to get overwhelmed. "Charm wants to be a good canine, but even with his efforts to better himself... he's scared that it'll all end up being pointless."

Marshall had more he wanted to ask, hoping Chase would be able to share it with him. "So he really means it when he says he's trying to change?" Chase nodded his head yes, which made Marshall more confident about his next question. "In that case, do you think you can help me forgive him?"

"Of course!" Chase exclaimed with a smile, always being more than happy to help his buddy. "It might require a different method for you, since the reason I was able to forgive him was because our weekly meetings led to me seeing how serious he was about this." Marshall took note of that, as well as what Chase said next. "Just find moments to spend time with him that you're both comfortable with."

Marshall felt that would be easy to pull off. Once he learned how to talk to Charm anyway. "If we both want to be friends, that shouldn't be too hard. Thanks Chase." Chase and Marshall did their signature pawshake before heading into the house. Marshall hugged his mom and sister after seeing both of them in the kitchen. "Mom! Margareth!"

"Marshy!" Wave and Margareth hugged Marshall warmly, leaving Wave to express how big Marshall's gotten since he left Twin Flame Island. "Happy birthday my sweet little angel. Oh you've grown so much!"

Marshall giggled a bit before noticing F.M. helping Charm handle a kitchen knife when cutting an onion. "You're doing great Charm. Keep this up, and you'll be doing this all on your own!"

Charm smiled softly from F.M.'s support, and Marshall smiled as he pointed out what this was. "So that's what F.M. wanted to introduce Charm to!"

"Looks like it." Margareth chimed in, cracking her knuckles as she prepared for the worst case scenario when whispering to Marshall. "Let me know if he turns out to be lying. Also, happy birthday."

"Thanks." Marshall responded while chuckling a bit while at the first part. Margareth really was protective of him and F.M..

A few minutes later, F.M. and the others were continuing to set up the party as Marshall showed Rubble the toys he used to play with. "And this is the Chase figurine I got before I met Chase on video call!"

"Wow." Rubble pressed a button that led to the toy Chase shooting his net. It hit Marshall on the nose, and the two laughed at the result.

Charm was Zuma playing with Melody on the couch while holding the ladder for Snow. "One small step for pup... one giant leap for canine kind!" Melody giggled as Zuma lifted her up and held her right over him with a bright smile on his face.

Charm started to get emotional upon seeing this, but kept it hidden as he vented to himself about it. "Even after everything he's been through, Zuma was still allowed to be a normal canine." Snow heard Charm as she slid down from a ladder after helping Skye set a banner up, since she was right next to him after sliding down. "Why was I never allowed to be held like that?"

Snow still didn't like Charm, or trust him, but she also knew now wasn't a good time to be sarcastic. She decided to make an attempt, if a flawed one, at being kind to him. "Slash didn't exactly make it easy for that to happen Charm. He destroyed your entire family."

Charm started to get annoyed, since he didn't understand why Snow brought that up, but tried to contain himself. "No need to rub it in my face Snow."

Skye overheard their conversation from where she was on her ladder, seeming worried as she heard what Snow said next. "I'm not. I'm just saying that it's Slash's fault you were never held like that. Not yours." Snow continued to try to comfort Charm, however, like Marshall, it was clear she didn't know what to say around Charm. "That doesn't excuse you separating me and Snow for sixteen months, obviously, but-"

Before Snow could finish what she was saying, Charm suddenly grabbed her by the back and pinned her to the wall. "Don't you think I know that!?" This shocked everyone else, and scared Melody, who Zuma did his best to comfort and keep from crying. F.M. and Rocky were the first to rush over, since they knew they were the most likely for Charm to listen to. "I don't need you reminding me of stuff I'm already ashamed of!" His collar started to beep yellow, which signaled him to stop before backing up. That helped him see that his conclusion was wrong.

"Charm; that's enough!" Rocky informed Charm sternly upon separating him and Snow with F.M.'s help. "Take a breath. Regain control."

F.M. joined Skye in checking on Snow since Rocky had Charm covered, hoping she wasn't hurt too badly from that. "Are you okay Snow?"

"Yeah. I'm okay." Snow answered, smiling as F.M. put her paw on her right cheek to soothe the pain. "Thanks."

Charm looked at Snow with remorse after calming down once Everest went off to get her an ice pack. All of the self worth issues he'd been facing lately made it harder for him to control his emotions. But that was no excuse to attack Snow. "Snow, please believe me; I'm-"

"Believe you? Ha! That's a laugh!" Claw announced from nearby, catching everyone's attention as he called out what Charm did. "As if she should believe anything you say! You just shoved her against a wall!"

Rocky started to notice Charm tensing up from Claw's intervention and tried to keep him and Charm off of each other's backs. "I've got this Claw. Don't worry."

"Yes Claw. This doesn't concern you. Back off!" Charm demanded, starting to match Claw's anger as he spoke to him.

"And let you try to attack my friends again!?" Claw shot back, refusing to take his eye of Charm after what he just did to Snow. "I don't think so!"

Rocky tried to get his friend and younger brother to stop before they started fighting again. "Guys, come on! We shouldn't fight during Marshall's birthday party!"

Melody started to get even more scared from Claw and Charm's fighting as Charm shouted again. "He clearly wants to! Why else would he chime in!?"

F.M. noticed this and went over to them as Claw shouted at Charm again. "I 'chimed in' because you attacked my friend!"

"That's enough!" F.M. shouted as she stepped in between Charm and Claw. The two were still glaring at each other with F.M. speaking calmly once she knew they stopped shouting. "Now can you please stop fighting?"

Charm and Claw pointed to each other and tried to defend themselves. "But he was-"

"You two have been at each others throats since we got back from Wolfland!" F.M. interrupted, not having it with any excused. While Charm was clearly still struggling with discussion about his past actions, and what Slash did to him, he was still wrong for attacking Snow. And while Claw has every right to stand up for his friends, yelling at Charm only made things worse. The two did feel bad for their behavior, and how it affected the mood, but they couldn't admit that in front of each other.

Instead, they stormed off, with Charm going into the backyard, and Claw going over to the stairs. After the others knew the fighting was over, Chase walked over to Snow to let her know Charm wouldn't get away with hurting her. "I'll be sure to hold him accountable for this Snow. For now, let's give him and Claw time to cool off."

"Thanks Chase, but I think I'd prefer an ice pack." Snow replied with a smile, showing that while Charm didn't go all out, he still had quite a bit of strength there. Everest handed her one from the kitchen, now that everything had gotten more mellow than before. "Thanks Everest."

About a half hour later, as lunch was served, Claw came back into the living room with Sweetie beside him as he got everyone's attention. "Everyone?" Everyone else, except for Charm, who was still in the backyard, looked at Claw, who cleared his throat before he began. "I'm deeply sorry for the way I handled Charm's outburst. As much as I can't stand him... the way I chose to act didn't help."

F.M. wanted to show that everyone had already forgave him quickly. Her method involved food, of course, hence why she picked up his plate of food, which she kept warm for him. "You have no idea how badly I wanted to bring this to you."

"Then why did you wait five minutes?" Claw asked jokingly while revealing some gluten free mac n cheese, which F.M. made to accommodate for his gluten allergy. Once he took a bite, he took back what he said, as the food was just that amazing. His mouth even watered a bit as he thanked F.M. for the meal. "Never mind; the wait was worth it!" The others laughed at how easily Claw got over having to wait for his lunch.

Marshall was currently snuggling with Everest next to Skye and Snow, and took the time to check up on her sister. "You feeling better Snow?"

"I am now. Much better." Snow admitted, telling the pups what she thought about with what Charm tried to tell her before. "This may sound crazy, but after thinking about it, I think Charm tried to apologize to me."

Skye looked outside to where Charm was sitting, which was right on the step one would step on right as one entered the backyard. "Maybe." Skye then started to feel bad for not doing more when she was so close to the conversation. "I'm sorry I stayed out of it. I didn't know what to do after Charm slammed you into the wall."

Snow took Skye's paw with a smile and assured her that she was okay. "Hey. If a Golden Retriever with a body count as big as Charm's attacked MY best friend, I'd probably be conflicted on what to do myself." Snow then opened up a little about her thoughts regarding the Charm situation. She knew it would be safe, since this was a big change for everyone. "I know what I said before, but it's just so hard to trust him. Especially after moments like that."

F.M. put her paws on Snow's shoulders, rubbing them gently to help her feel better with any stress she was feeling. "I'm still proud of you for trying Snowflake. Even if he misinterpreted what you were saying, it's a step in the right direction."

"And then three steps in the WRONG direction because he slammed me into a wall." Snow snarked playfully in an attempt to make some humor out of the situation.

F.M. looked at Charm out on the backyard and knew he'd need comfort too. After she knew Snow was calm, she decided to make her move. "I'll go talk to him."

Sweetie had her own comment in regards to that while filing her nails. "Your funeral." F.M. ignored Sweetie's comment and kissed Snow's cheek before walking off, making Snow feel even better. The affection from her girlfriend always helped.

Charm was writing in his journal on the backyard step, and he was so lost in thought, that F.M. startled him upon opening the door. After looking back, he saw F.M. and composed himself. "Oh. Hello F.M."

F.M. closed the door behind her as she responded to Charm. "Hey there Charm." After that, she sat down next to Charm and got to the point. "I know you're going through a lot Charm, and I'm still going to help you through it. But I don't appreciate you attacking my girlfriend."

Charm expressed his remorse while looking directly at F.M. in an attempt to show that he meant it. "I'm really sorry F.M.. And, I do want to apologize to Snow as well." Charm then put his journal away as he explained what went through his mind in that moment. "I misinterpreted her intentions greatly. I now see she was just trying to help me."

F.M. knew where this was coming from and put a paw on Charm's shoulder for support. "She said you got upset when you saw Zuma playing with Melody."

"Because I never got the chance to play with Rocky like that." Charm explained, wishing he got to have moments like that. "I was never held like that when I was younger. Seeing Zuma and Melody being genuine siblings, it... it made me wish Rocky and I could've had a relationship like that."

F.M. didn't want Charm to think there was no hope; especially after he managed to reconcile with Rocky. "There's still time Charm. And I know you've been using some of it to hang out with Rocky."

"I meant when I was younger F.M.." Charm corrected as he looked at the Dalmatian. "For the longest time, my father was the only family member I ever knew. I never got to experience anything a toddler would normally experience from him, I thought Rocky was stealing our mother from me, and he Slash made me think our mother wanted me dead!" Charm sighed before he spoke again. "Of course, you already knew about that last one."

And what he said next hurt F.M., although that wasn't Charm's intention. "Just consider yourself lucky that your father's dead."

F.M. was definitely shook by those words, but kept quiet. She knew Charm would feel even worse if he heard that Blaze loved him and his family more than anything. For now, she kept comforting him to help him with his journey towards being a better canine. "I can't bring back your toddler days, but I can say this. Slash isn't in the way anymore. If you go back in there and apologize to Snow, Rocky will be proud of you. And who knows? Maybe Snow will start warming up to you too."

Charm was then greeted by one of F.M.'s signature hugs, which he happily embraced while holding back his tears of joy. "I'll do that. Thank you F.M.."

"Of course!" F.M. then pulled Charm away, deciding to relax in the backyard for a bit longer. "You can head inside. I'm in kind of a nostalgic mood right now."

"Very well then." Charm went back inside and showed that he was a little nervous about talking to Snow before closing the door. "Snow... about earlier..." F.M. couldn't help eavesdropping again, leaning against the door and smiling as she heard what Charm was saying. "I deeply apologize for attacking you. I doubt my reason for misinterpreting your intentions will fix my misdeed, but please know that I'm still serious about being better."

Despite still struggling to trust Charm quite a bit, Snow made an effort to see the reasoning behind his reaction. "It's pretty obvious that your family trauma is a trigger for you."

F.M. was happy with these results, but noticed that the daisy in her right ear was gone. "Huh?" F.M. then looked to see a dark brown furred Dachshund in a red and white striped pirate cap, a black shirt with ripped white sleeves and a red and purple trim that was fastened with gold buttons, and purple pirate pants covering his legs and feet, sitting on the backyard fence. He was holding F.M.'s flower, and when he noticed her looking at him, he giggled with a cheeky smile before jumping off and running away. "Hey! Get back here!" With that, F.M. chased after the Dachshund.

F.M. ended up chasing the Dachshund down to the docks, and as he waddled on ahead, F.M. started to demand that he stop. "Stop adorably waddling away you-" F.M. stopped however, when she saw what was at the edge of the dock. She was shocked to find the Dachshund entering a pirate ship. The Dachshund's pirate attire was clearly more than a costume. F.M. became ecstatic over the prospect of meeting real life pirates. "No way! Zuma's gonna freak when he sees this!"

F.M. ran up to the pirate ship and knocked on the door, hoping to get her daisy back as a male human about Ryder's age opened the peek through slider. "Password?"

F.M. wasn't expecting that. Good thing Zuma knew some stuff about pirates. That helped with her answer. "Um... shiver me timbers?"

The Dachshund popped up next to the human and happily announced F.M.'s results. "You got it! Well, besides the 'um' part."

The human shushed the Dachshund before opening the door, allowing F.M. to come inside. She did so carefully as she requested her daisy back. "I know it's weird that I put in this much trouble over a flower, but ever since I-"

Just then, the human pointed his hook hand towards F.M.'s face from the side as he asked her a question. "F.M. of the Paw Patrol?"

F.M. grinned before looking at the human, following it up by ducking and taking out her knife. The human didn't slash, and F.M. knocked his hook back while backing up. After she did, he tried to speak, only for her to jump kick his chest and send him into the wall. "Captain Boss Mr. Sid Sir!" The Dachshund charged at F.M., who side stepped out of the way of his tackle and kicked him over to his friend.

After taking control of the situation, F.M. got to asking what Sid and his Dachshund wanted with her. "You guys clearly lured me to your ship. Either of you wanna tell me why?"

"We were actually looking for the Paw Patrol!" The Dachshund answered, stepping forward and smiling as he introduced himself. "My name's Arrby. And you heard me mention Sid's name." F.M. sensed that Arrby was being genuinely friendly, prompting her to put her knife away and allow him to continue. He did so by returning her daisy, which she put into her ear as Arrby continued his explanation. "Sorry about stealing your daisy and attacking you Ms. nice pup with the flower in her ear. We were trying to see if you were as skilled as everyone says."

"Water under the bridge. No pun intended." F.M. responded, making Arrby smile as F.M. decided to see what they needed help with as Sid walked over to the two pups. "You can make it up to me by helping a friend of mine fulfill one of his desires." Sid and Arrby looked at each other with curiosity as to what F.M. meant by that."

A couple minutes later, Zuma started squeeing like a little girl in Sid and Arrby's boat before shaking Arrby's paw swiftly and roughly. "Hi there piwate dudes; my name's Zuma; it's so cool to meet you!" Once Zuma finished shaking his paw, he focused on Arrby as he looked directly into his eyes while asking him a bunch of questions. "How old are you, how long have you been a piwate for, what's your favowite thing to do, what's your favowite color, and do you wanna be fwiends!?"

Arrby was taking a liking to Zuma already and happily answered the questions he had in mind for him. "I'm ten years old, I've been a pirate for four years, I love finding super cool artifacts, purple, and sure."

Zuma hugged Arrby tightly once he was done, making Arrby laugh a bit as Zuma continued to geek out. "I'M FWIENDS WITH A PIWATE!"

Rocky put his paws on Zuma's shoulders while smiling to Arrby and shaking his paw. "As you can clearly see, Zuma is an enormous pirate fan." Arrby gave a smiling nod to confirm that, showing that he liked Zuma's energy.

Ryder was talking to Sid about his mission as Rocky, Charm, and Richie looked over the documents he supplied them with. "So basically, you heard of an underwater city that was inhabited with Mer-Pups, and you want us to help you get some of their artifacts, so you can keep some, but give the money from the ones you don't want to the poor?"

"Heh. Sounds like a pirate themed Robin Hood story." Snow chimed in before checking out the harpoon Sid and Arrby used for fishing.

"That's right." Skye was getting a look around the ship like everyone else as Sid filled Ryder in, finding something that caught her attention as Rocky, Charm, and Richie kept looking at the documents. "She has to be rich enough to afford losing some of those things. We can share if you like."

"I say we help them." Sweetie interjected while looking into her mirror. "Anything pearl related would do wonders for my jewelery collection."

Skye got a good look at the Mer-Pup documents as Richie brought up their standards. "You seem like a nice guy Sid, but the Paw Patrol doesn't enable stealing, whether it's for a good cause or not." The Mer-Pup with aquamarine blue streaks of fluff on her head, ears, and tail, who also looked like a Cockapoo, looked familiar to Skye.

Charm also caught something that enlightened him: A white potion with the description 'The Potion That Cures All!'. This peaked his interests, and he quickly brought it to everyone else's attention. "They definitely shouldn't be keeping THIS to themselves!" Charm took the picture and showed it to Ryder and Sid after running over to them. "Listen up Water Hood! You get this potion and I'm in one hundred percent!"

"It's Sid, thank you." Sid corrected as he snatched the page away, clearly being annoyed by the nickname. "And you'll need a good really reason for wanting that potion." Charm signaled Sid to kneel down to him, which he did. After choking, he whispered his reason to Sid, who was shocked by what he'd learned, but after the few seconds Charm needed, Sid stood up and gave an understanding nod. "That will do."

Skye kept looking at the Mer-Pup who looked similarly to her and seemed shell-shocked. Chase asked her about this when he walked over to her. "Are you okay baby?"

"I don't know." Skye admitted, having a lot of thoughts crossing her mind that brought back a memory of her past. Chase quickly caught on when he saw the picture and was with Skye as she spoke up. "I wanna go too. It would be great to see the Mer-Pups."

Marshall gave F.M. a sly grin as he addressed her excitement to see a new part of the world. "You wanna see the Mer-Pups too. Don't you." F.M. nodded her head yes excitedly with Marshall laughing a bit before joining in. "Why the heck not? This could be a fun birthday trip."

The other pups seemed to be interested in meeting the Mer-Pups with Ryder smiling as he looked to Sid in response to his mission. "Well Sid, I guess we're going with you."

Sid held his hand out, shaking Ryder's as he assured him that it'd be worth it. "You won't regret it."

Everest then addressed Marshall's birthday party being chanced on such short notice. She didn't want that to go unchecked. "Sorry about your birthday party Marshall. This last minute change must be shocking."

"Oh no. This is gonna be fun." Marshall assured Everest, holding her paw as he expressed excitement over this new adventure. "And I'd rather have that happen than waste F.M.'s chance to see more of the world."

"Mar Mar, we always get to see more of the world." Everest happily reminded Marshall, licking his cheek and making him giggle in response.

Wave and Margareth had an offer in mind with Wave addressing Rocky and Zuma as they walked over to him while holding Melody. "This could be a dangerous journey you two. If you want, we can watch Melody and Rubble."

"That'd be awesome! Thanks Wave." Zuma signaled Wave to kneel down, which she did, allowing Zuma to talk to Melody. He knew she might be sad about not getting to see her. "Melody, big bwother Zuma's gonna go on another adventuwe. But don't wowwy, I'll be back way sooner this time. Can you be a big stwong girl for Wave while I'm gone?"

Melody smiled and assured Zuma that she would, making him laugh with what she said next. "Stwong!" Zuma then saw some paint supplies Sid and Arrby had near their couch past Melody. He smirked to Rocky, who was hugging Rubble as he became intrigued to see what he had in mind.

F.M. then remembered something and took her Pup-Phone out to give a call to someone she knew. "Oh; wait!" She made the call, knowing her plan would bring a lot of help.
