KRD: Hey guys, Kamen Rider Duelist and HackerEX for another chapter of My Hero Academia: Way of the Dragon Knuckle!

HEX: Iron Might! Iron Might!

KRD: Sorry about not updating this in a while, but we've hit a lot of snags IRL and couldn't get to it! So sorry!

HEX: Still, we got some hot stuff coming up in the manga atm. But for now, we get to the rest of the previous chapter we had to leave off. Yeah, fun fact. This was supposed to be a part of chapter 4.

KRD: Yeah, but we decided to split it into two parts. So this is technically Chapter 4 Part 2, but this will be its own thing and be a Chapter 5. So without further ado, here's the next chapter! Enjoy!

We last left off with the heroes in-training of Class 1-A. They had just watched a sparring match between Izuku and Ochaco vs. Bakugo and Tenya. Just as when the timer was about to go out, Midoriya managed to improvise on the spot and pull out a win from behind using his Quirk. However it was at the cost of one arm becoming useless and the other being burnt due to taking the brunt of Bakugo's explosion. The moment he passed out, Mamoru immediately rushed to the scene. His sincere wish of wanting Izuku to live allowed his Aura Quirk to Awaken and heal some of his injuries, but at the cost of exhausting an equal amount of his life force. While Ochaco took Izuku to the infirmary, Tenya helped Mamoru walk and Bakugo wordlessly followed.

When the three entered the control room, they were met by the shocked and amazed expressions of most of their classmates.

"W-What is it?" Mamoru got out, unnerved. "Why are you all looking at me like that?"

"Dude… that was… wow." Eijiro said.

"I never saw a Quirk Awakening like that before." Momo admitted.

"Hadōken-shōnen…" All Might said, approaching the young boy.

Mamoru could only look down and away in shame. He's already in enough trouble as it is. "I'm sorry. I…"

"No no, the fault isn't just yours." All Might admitted, "I should have stopped the match before it escalated like it did. That aside… what you did back there… was heroic of you."

"W-Wha?" Mamoru looked at the Top Hero confused.

"In spite of your earlier outburst with Bakugo-shōnen, you cared deeply for Midoriya-shōnen." the Top Hero said, "The fact that it was enough to cause your Quirk to Awaken and allow you to heal his wounds proved as much to me."

"I… didn't want Midoriya to die… just like…" Mamoru trailed off, clenching his fist at the memory. "When my Quirk manifested… I made a vow that day that with my hands I would protect those who can't fight for themselves, hold onto those I cherish dearly, and not let anyone die in front of me… ever."

"Hadōken…" Tenya muttered.

"I'll admit, it's kind of a cheesy notion. But that's what I want to be as a Hero." Mamoru said.

"And there's nothing with that." All Might nodded. "That being said, with all personal issues aside, let's review the battle footage and analyze everything."

As the class discussed, one of the classmates, Rikido, offered Mamoru, who was sitting down against a wall, two donuts. "Here, I was going to use this when our turn comes up for the exercise, but you need it more than I do."

Sato Rikido. Quirk: Sugar Rush!

When consuming sugar, it allows him to increase his strength five-fold for three minutes!

"Ah, thanks, Sato-san." Mamoru smiled sadly as he took the donuts and chowed down on them. "Mm? Whoa, this is good. Did you make these yourself?"

"Yeah, it took some time to get the flavor right." Rikido bashfully said.

"You should open a bakery once you retire." Mamoru chuckled, "Like wow, this tastes great,"

Soon, the classes began their Battle Trials four by four. Some matches were fair, but there were also some that were completely unfair like when Todoroki froze the whole building. All the while Mamoru recorded all of the matches for when Izuku would wake up.

As he did however, he saw Bakugo mostly silent after the fight. While he was frankly glad that the Explosion Quirk user wasn't boastful for once, the lingering look of horror in his eyes gave some slight concern.

"Alright class, last up and as requested, Team K: Hadōken-shōnen and Kazegami-shōjo vs. Team L: Tekketsu-shōnen and Suiyaku-shōnen! Team K will be the Heroes and Team L will be the Villains!"

"Sweet! I've been waiting for this!" Nobuhiko cheered.

"About time." Toshirō sighed, "Welp, let's get this over with… I wanna get back to my experiments."

"Are you sure you can do this, Mamoru-chan?" Tsubasa asked the martial artist.

"I'll be fine." Mamoru said, standing up then tightening his headband with a smirk. "Thanks to Sato-san's donuts, I'm ready to go."

Chapter 5 - Battle of the Overflow

Soon, Mamoru made final adjustments to his costume as he stepped out and waited for not only Tsubasa, but the two spare students from 1-B to take their positions within the building. During that time, his mind kept replaying the clash Izuku and Bakugo had. He also took what Momo had said during their analysis of the fight.

From what she observed, Iida adapted the most to the context of the training, despite his lackluster acting. From the obvious, Bakugo acted on his own because of a personal grudge he had with Izuku. And as Mamoru had pointed out, it was foolish to launch a large-scale attack indoors. In the same way, taking into consideration the damage Izuku received, his plan was also rash. As for Ochako, she let her guard down mid-battle, and her final attack was too reckless. If Ochako had treated the weapon as the real thing, she wouldn't have been able to do something so dangerous. Iida on the other hand, had prepared for his opponent's arrival and assumed it would be a fight over the weapon, which made him late in responding to the final attack. The silver lining to all of this, was because the Hero Team only won due to taking advantage of the fact that this was mere training.

'So what's gonna happen once the training gloves come off?' He asked himself, 'Will any of us be able to handle the strain of being a Hero?'

"Alrighty, I'm ready to go!" Tsubasa's voice called out. Mamoru turned around to see that Tsubasa had her full wings on display alongside a blue bikini over a white sleeveless bodysuit. She also had a pair of hi-tech goggles worn over Tsubasa's eyes that not only protects her eyes during flight, but also displays a HUD screen that one would see when inside the cockpit of a fighter jet and functions as a HUD screen.

"I-I-hamanahamana." Mamoru stammered before shaking out of his initial stupor and pressed on his wireless earbud, "Sensei, we're in position."

["Okay then. Is everything alright? You seemed to have a bit of an episode there."] All Might inquired.

"I'm okay. Just nerves is all." Mamoru lied.

Denki, to his surprise, didn't believe that statement, something Mina noticed with a cat-like grin as she saw the electric Quirk user's expression harden slightly.

"Jealous?"

"Shut up…!" Denki hissed, placing a finger to his mouth, "You want us to die that badly, woman?" He panicked.

"Yurusenai. Yurusenai. Yurusenai. Yurusenai."

Mina quickly kept her mouth shut upon hearing the fevered chanting of them. She may be a chatterbox, but she didn't want to damn a poor boy to execution.

"Alright! Let the final exercise begin!" All Might announced and the timer started.

Soon Mamoru and Tsubasa made their way inside, successfully infiltrating the building they were in. The building they were specifically in had seven floors. The layout was slightly different than the others as no two buildings were the same. Mamoru grimaced as his Quirk didn't have the ability to sense other people's auras… at least not yet anyways. If he did, he could at least sense where Nobuhiko and Toshirō were before making their plans.

"Kazegami-san, fly outside and do a recon of the building." Mamoru suggested. "The hallways here are a bit cramped for you to fly in."

"Roger that!" The harpy affirmed before taking flight.

Meanwhile, Mamoru took the chance to go inside and do a bit of recon from the inside, looking around for where the enemy might be. He went a couple flights of stairs before walking around more.

Just then, he noticed someone appear behind him. Before he could react, a large cloud of green gas began to envelop the room.

"Shimatta, what- gahhh! It burns!" Mamoru cried out, feeling his eyes and nose burning up, as he quickly burst out his Aura to disperse the gas. "Gh… was that tear gas?" That was when he noticed a strange set of cuffs around his legs. "Dammit, when did-"

"Sorry bud. Can't let you use those Ultimate Moves of yours." A familiar voice chuckled as Nobuhiko walked out.

"Nobuhiko?" Mamoru got out.

"That's my name, don't wear it out." He said with a two-finger salute, "Had those cuffs on hand and well…" He then let his hand glow with circuit lines to show off his Quirk, "I gave them a bit of an update."

Tekketsu Nobuhiko. Quirk: Nanobot!

The cells of his body are made up of smaller nanomachine-like entities that grants him increased durability and strength. He can also manipulate them to either grow machines out of his body, or temporarily interface, control, or upgrade any machine he can touch!

"Gh…" He gritted, before pressing his earbud. "Kazegami-san, come in! I've been pinned!"

Nothing.

"Kazegami-san, come in!"

"Can't let you do that, Street Fighter." Nobuhiko chuckled as he pointed towards the small device on the wall, "It's a one-way signal jammer I was able to modify. As long as the both of us are here, all communication between partners is cut off. Don't worry, All Might still can access our comms, just not each of ours."

"What?" Mamoru gasped, 'Crap, that means that Kazegami-san's in trouble!'

Meanwhile, Tsubasa was flying around the building, trying to see if she could find the weapon by peering in. She had her HUD goggles on, hoping to pinpoint the weapons' location. "Alrighty, Mr. No Good Nuke, where are ya?" She mused.

Then she noticed a blue flask flying straight at her. Thinking fast, Tsubass flew back and flapped one of her wings, creating a small gust of wind to prevent the flask from hitting her.

'What was that?' she thought.

As the flask landed on the roof, the glass broke and the liquid spread… and froze?!

"Ehhhhhhh?!" Tsubasa cried out in shock.

"Liquid nitrogen." She heard someone say before turning to see Toshirō standing on the roof, an empty flask in hand that he soon filled with one of the tubes on his suit with blue liquid, "One touch of the stuff and you would have been a popsicle."

Suiyaku Toshirō. Quirk: Chemical!

A special sack within his stomach, allows him to make any chemicals, which is connected to his blood circulatory system which then travels to his palms for him to spray!

"Don't you even think about freezing my beautiful feathers!" The harpy snapped comically.

"Oh, I got way more methods than just freezing." the chemist chuckled as he took out a couple more flasks to toss, these ones having red liquid placed within them. "Now let's see how good you are at dodging!"

As he tossed the two flasks, the contents inside glowed as they exploded, blowing Tsubasa away. While Toshirō was keeping Tsubasa busy, Mamoru and Nobuhiko were brawling two floors below. Mamoru delivered three quick strikes to the technician, sending him back. But then he saw Nobuhiko touch the wall, causing light blue circuit lines to appear and create several turrets armed with rubber bullets.

"You've gotta be kidding me…" the martial artist groaned.

"Installed them just before you and your team mate showed up." Nobuhiko answered, "Now dance!"

*RATATATATATATATATATATATATATATATATATATATATATATATATATATATATATATA!*

"Oi, oi, oi!" Mamoru shouted as he comically dodged the bullets, doing acrobatics as the bullets bounced around and tried to hit him. However, with the cuffs around his legs, he wasn't as agile as he could have been and soon he was pelted with rubber bullets.

"Huh, not bad. Separating the potential threat of the pair and keeping the other busy. Divide and conquer at its finest." Tenya observed.

"And given that he can't kick or move as fast as he could with those cuffs, they really took their time to observe Mamoru's weaknesses." Momo took note.

"Come on. Come on! I wanna see some moves!" Nobuhiko said.

"You want it? You got it!" Mamoru snarled as he spread his arms out. This confused the technician, but then he saw the dragon and tiger heads that were on his shoulders that were seemingly 'eating' his arms, traveling towards his fists, before mechanical sounds were heard, now turning them into gauntlets.

"Huh, well that's new." Nobuhiko observed.

"The dragon and tiger heads weren't just sentimental or for show!" Mamoru said as he flared his Aura around his shoulder-pad turned gauntlets and smashed the chains that held the cuffs together. "Tou-chan and Kaa-san's spirits will guide my fists!"

"Well this just got interesting." Nobuhiko noted before outstretching his hands.

Suddenly, the circuit lines on his hands and arms began to manifest some sort of black substance that slowly began to form into a pair of heavy duty gauntlets.

"Show me what you got!" he laughed before the pair charged at each other and clashed fists.

Despite his speed returning to him, he was still at a slight disadvantage with dodging the turrets as he now had to contend with Nobuhiko, who was quickly utilizing a form of boxing, bobbing and weaving through his punches and kicks before delivering a series of jabs and a right hook to his midsection.

When he delivered an aura-charged side kick, the technician quickly brought his arms up to block the incoming attack, leading to him getting knocked into one of the turrets. Nobuhiko soon got out and shook off the mess of metal and wires on him.

'Well, at least that's one turret down.' he thought before preparing for another fight.

Meanwhile, Tsubasa was having a rough time reaching Toshirō who was using his chemicals to keep the harpy at bay. 'Come on, there has to be some kind of opening I can exploit…' she thought. Then again, it's not like she's out of options.

"Come on, sweet cheeks. Just give up." the chemist chuckled as he tossed another flask, this one having a paralyzing gas inside it, "There ain't no way you can use your wind powers to block my chemicals."

After dodging it, she realized something. Because he lacked a mask, that meant the chemist could also be affected by his own gas. Upon spotting him throwing a flask full of laughing gas, the harpy got an idea.

"Alright, if that's how you wanna play, then I'll play." Tsubasa grinned as she suddenly took in a deep breath, and shrieked, breaking the flask prematurely and releasing a cylindrical-shaped cyclone full of laughing gas towards the chemist.

He quickly brought his arms up and forced him to block, but the cyclone quickly picked him up and began spinning him rapidly.

"Crapcrapcrapcrapcrapcrapcrapcrap! Stop! I'm getting too dizzy! It's already bad enough with Nokuhiko's driving! Stoooooop!"

"Hehehehe~ round round round you go, where you'll stop, nobody knows~" Tsubasa sang playfully.

Soon, the winds caused his helmet to fly off, leaving Toshirō vulnerable to the gas within the cyclones. Once the cyclone stopped, the chemist was left a chuckling mess, open for the harpy to tie the capture tape around.

"Woo hoo! Wait to go, girl!" Mina cheered.

Back with Mamoru and Nobuhiko, the two were still exchanging punches while the time ticked down. The martial artist did have an edge over the technician due to his parents' training, but those gauntlets Nobuhiko made helped shorten the gap.

After dodging another punch, Nobuhiko quickly weaved his body in a sideways figure eight before delivering a series of rapid punches to both Mamoru's sides. The martial artist was caught off guard and quickly moved into the defensive, blocking the attack while the rubber bullets continued to pepper him.

"Hold on, is that the Dempsey Roll?" Eijiro caught on.

"Oho? You know this maneuver?" All Might asked, slightly impressed.

"Yeah, I saw Mike use it in his fight against the Mad Bison." the Hardening Quirk user, "All Mamoru has to do to counter it is catch onto Tekketsu's rhythm."

"That is if he catches on." Denki pointed out, "Dude's still got the other turrets to deal with."

That was when Mamoru ended up dropping his guard, giving Nobuhiko an opening. With a smirk, the mechanic winded up his fist and activated a function that launched the fist like a rocket. After bringing the martial artist closer to him, Nobuhiko delivers rapid powerful punches to juggle Mamoru in the air.

["ORAORAORAORAORAORAORAORAORAORAORAORAORAORAORAORAORAORAORAORAORAORA!"]

"The heck is he doing?!" Denki gawked. "This ain't no circus act!"

"Guy's definitely a showboater, I can tell." Mina observed.

Nobuhiko then finished the combo and delivered a double punch that quickly sent Mamoru flying.

"Gah!" Mamoru crashed into a wall, a web of cracks forming upon impact before sliding to the ground. He was barely able to wipe his lips of the red liquid going down the corner.

'Gh… I don't have time to deal with Tekketsu-san. I have to find the weapon.' Mamoru thought, while attempting to recover from the combo.

"Come on, how about you show me that fire you had back in the entrance exam?" Nobuhiko taunted the martial artist.

Mamoru clicked his tongue. There had to be a chink in the armor that he could spot. Something to get through this guy's defenses. He then began to look around the room again, looking for any gaps that he could escape into.

That was when he noticed that every time Nobuhiko used his attacks, steam seemed to pour out of his builds. It had to have some sort of cooldown every time he attacked. He also noticed that he 'dismantled' his boots when he made the gauntlets, meaning he couldn't use more than one build at a time.

'Meaning I have to time it right and catch him when he switches builds.'

After taking a breath, Mamoru took a stance and prepared himself for Nobuhiko's next attack. The technician smirked and quickly rushed in with a Superman punch, only to notice the blow glance off before the martial artist's aura briefly switched from a fiery aura to an almost paintbrush-like one as Mamoru delivered a powerful punch to stun him.

Afterwards, Mamoru recalled a technique that his father learned from his master, a kick that could theoretically allow him to fly for a bit. He then hopped and rotated while delivering a roundhouse kick. The dazed technician could not recover fast enough to block and took the three incoming roundhouse kicks to the face, sending him flying through the wall and revealing the room that held the weapon. The resulting strike also caused many of the turrets to de-activate.

"Kitta!" Mamoru got out.

Mamoru quickly took advantage of this and performed a baseball slide to the weapon. He was about to touch it when he felt something grab his ankle.

"Oh crap!"

"Heh, nice try. But you're not getting it so easily." Nobuhiko grinned, as he made a mechanical grapple hook like device.

"Kuso!" Mamoru cursed as he tried to get it and reach towards the weapon. He was just mere inches away! He just had to touch it!

"Get over here!" the technician snarled as he pulled on the hook, pulling Mamoru close enough for a strong clothesline with his other arm that sent Mamoru to the ground.

"Ugh…" Mamoru groaned.

"How do ya like that?" Nobuhiko sneered. "I told ya you're not getting it so easily."

Mamoru slowly got back up to his feet with a groan of pain escaping his lips. He was gonna need an ice pack after this. "Yeah, I'll give ya that, but I'm not giving up easily either."

"Heh, good. That's just what I want." Nobuhiko smirked, using his nanobots to make the large fists again, before both got into a fighting stance, ready to brawl once more.

"So this was where you were hiding this thing."

They soon turned around to find Tsubasa leaning on the weapon, grinning goofily.

"Kazegami-san!" Mamoru gasped.

"Wait, what?! How did you-!" Nobuhiko gawked.

"It's rather simple, really." Tsubasa grinned.

Flashback

"Crapcrapcrapcrapcrapcrapcrapcrap! Stop! I'm getting too dizzy! It's already bad enough with Nokuhiko's driving! Stoooooop!"

"Hehehehe~ round round round you go, where you'll stop, nobody knows~" Tsubasa sang playfully.

Soon, the winds caused his helmet to fly off, leaving Toshirō vulnerable to the gas within the cyclones. Once the cyclone stopped, the chemist was left a chuckling mess, open for the harpy to tie the capture tape around.

"Alright, one down, one to go." Tsubasa said to herself before returning to her search, "Now where is that weapon…?"

That was when she noticed one of the windows was blocked off. Curious, she decided to take a look.

"Hmhm~? Why would this window be blocked off, unlike the rest that's made of glass?" Tsubasa ponderd.

After removing the wooden boards covering the window, she soon spotted the weapon just standing there. This was easy… too easy, she thought.

As a test, she fired out a single feather into the room to see if there were any traps within them. The moment the feather went in-

*BANG!*

A rubber bullet shot out from one of the walls, destroying said feather.

"Ugh, figures…" the harpy sighed. That would explain that the place was rigged with motion sensors. Meaning that if she went in there, the guns installed would have a field day going trigger happy. 'Gotta find a way to disable them somehow. Maybe there's a central control panel in the building?' She theorized as she used her goggle's x-ray function to scan the building and sure enough she found the weak spots.

"Aha. There you are."

After flying into a room where the control console was, she began to tap away at the keys before thankfully, all of the turrets shut down at the same moment that Nobuhiko was thrown into the wall.

"Awesome." Tsubasa smiled at herself.

Seeing this, Mamoru breathed a sigh of relief while Nobuhiko groaned in defeat.

"Dangit… we were so close…" the technician grumbled.

"THAT'S IT! HERO TEAM WINS!" All Might announced to the cheers of the other 1-A members.

"Nice work, Kazegami-san." Mamoru nodded.

"You too, Mamoru-chan." Tsubasa smiled, before the two shared a high-five.

"JUDGMENT TIME!"

Almost like a warning signal, Mamoru put up his dukes and got Nobuhiko onto his feet. "Look alive, Tekketsu. We got company." The martial artist said as multiple black hooded people suddenly appeared.

"Hey, who are they?!" Mineta cried out, pointing at the screen.

"Shit. I knew this was gonna happen." All Might cursed.

"Sensei, is this part of the exercise?" Momo inquired.

"No… but I think I speak for some of of us when I say… Boys?" All Might's smile soon turned from earnest to wicked as Eijiro, Denki, and to their surprise, Mineta and Sero, returned the smile in kind. "Smash."

The four laughed menacingly, to the slight fear of the rest of 1-A.

"Hey, lemme in on it too!" Mina said, "I've always wanted to pay those creeps back after hearing the horror stories about them!"

"Mina, you sure?" The Hardening Quirk user asked his friend.

"Definitely!"

"I forbid it!" Tenya denied. "We shouldn't resort to violence with fellow students!"

"Dude, this is the S.I.N we're talking about!" Eijiro cried out. "They almost castrated Mamoru!"

"CASTRATED?!" Most of Class 1-A gawked.

*CRACK!*

At that moment, the group heard something crack. Feeling scared, the class slowly turned towards Tenya, the glare of the lights obstructing the view of his eyes.

"T-They… d-did… WHAT?!"

That was when they heard Tenya's engines roaring to life as if to match the young man's fury.

Eijiro sweated with a sheepish smile. "Sorry, wrong choice of words. Look, Iida, Mamoru was saved by Midnight-sensei, so it's not that serious-"

"NOT THAT SERIOUS?!"

"Oh dear…" All Might muttered, he's certainly seen this kind of rage once before. He did not like it then and he certainly didn't like it now.

"THIS WILL NOT STAND!" Tenya shouted. "HOW DARE THEY THREATEN A FELLOW STUDENT BY ATTEMPTING TO REMOVE ONE'S INHERITANCE! THIS IS AN INJUSTICE AGAINST MAN, BEAST, AND ALL THAT IS RIGHT! I WILL NOT STAY IDLE WHILE ONE OF OUR OWN COULD END UP IN THE HANDS OF THOSE MONSTERS!"

The group were surprised. Since when did Tenya have this much rage about castration in him? Regardless, it seemed like he wanted in on the operation.

"Then it's settled! Boys? And girl. Have at it!" All Might said, before the doors of the control room opened. Denki, Eijiro, Sero, Mineta, Tenya, and Mina, all then rushed out, to go towards Mamoru and company.

"Are you sure this is wise?" Shoto asked the Top Hero.

"With the S.I.N, we have to account for all possibilities." All Might said ominously. "Besides, I'm sure you kids will be just fine when dealing with them."

Shoto remained silent at the cryptic answer, but it was all he was gonna get out of All Might. Even still, at least it was going to be some interesting watching.

"Oryah!" Mamoru shouted, punching one of the S.I.N members with his aura fist. Another one tried to jump him from behind, but the brawler sensed it and did an uppercut to that person's chin sending them flying, 'I should have known that they were watching…' he thought to himself as he and Tsubasa were forced back-to-back while the S.I.N members surrounded them.

"Geez, what's with these guys?" Tsubasa complained.

"At best insensitive, at worst desperate." the martial artist summed up.

"DO NOT MOVE, VERMIN!"

"Huh? What the heck wa-"

Before he could finish his sentence, a portion of the wall was destroyed, sending several S.I.N members to the ground. The culprit?

An angry, red-eyed, engine-revving Tenya with several of their classmates right behind him.

"Holy crap, the dude just barreled through those guys like a freight train…" Eijiro gulped as he looked back at the various unconscious S.I.N members on the ground in agony.

"I-Iida… san?" Mamoru gulped.

"Step away… from Hadōken…" Tenya said with a disturbing calm in his voice.

"Uh, Iida you made your point. We're all behind you buddy." Denki placated.

"They must be brought to justice…" Tenya said coldly, trudging forward as his engine calves revved up.

This caused the S.I.N members to back away in fear. They have seen Tenya being strict before, but his rage was something completely new.

"So, are you punks ready to admit defeat? Or do I have to break a few eggheads?" Tenya threatened as he removed his glasses, letting out a slight edge of violence to it, to Eijiro's surprise.

'Where have I heard that kind of talk before?' he thought to himself.

However, the Hardening Quirk user let the idea off for later. Right now, he and the others were on a rescue mission. But when he turned his attention back to Tenya…

*POW!*

"OOOWWWW!"

"H-Hey, my arm's not supposed to bend that way!"

*CRACK!*

"Don't let him come near me!"

*WHAM!*

He and the others quickly went from rescuers to car crash observers as they watched Tenya… go to work.

*BAM!*

"Why are you hitting me with my skull?! That's physically impossible!"

*SNAP!*

All of the guys quickly shouted or gasped in horror as they grabbed their legs upon hearing that sound. Some of the girls on the other hand looked away before the impact.

"My leg! My leg…"

"Heh. This is surprisingly therapeutic." All Might commented.

Aizawa walked into the control room where he noticed the rest of Class 1-A watching with a mixture of horror and fascination. "Mind telling me what's going on here?" The vigilante questioned the top hero.

"S.I.N finally biting off more than they could chew." All Might said before passing Aizawa… a bag of popcorn?

Aizawa raised an eyebrow, "Salted or buttered?"

"Buttered."

The vigilante shrugged and got some from the bag, "Least those pricks are paying for the shit they put us through."

"You have no idea." All Might agreed.

"I… don't know if I should be relieved or horrified…" Momo murmured in confusion.

"I didn't know the human body could move that way." Todoroki commented casually.

"Iida-kun's very scary when he's angry…" Tohru whimpered in fright.

"It's always the quiet ones." Fumikage muttered.

"Haaaa… haaaaa… haaaaa… haaaaa…" Tenya panted heavily, taking out his glasses to wipe whatever sweat got on the lenses while looking at his handy work. All of the S.I.N. members were beaten to a pulp, bloodied and bruised. Said bruises were so large, one couldn't see their faces. Some of the members' teeth also fell off from Tenya's assault.

"Ano… Iida-san," Mamoru muttered, trying to get his attention. "I think… they've learned their lesson."

Tenya breathed a slow sigh, before adjusting himself and putting back on his glasses."Yes, you're right. Now then, shall we return to the control room?" He said without missing a beat, the murderous glint in his eyes completely gone and once more he was the cautious prefect.

The whole group blinked in both shock… and a bit of fear.

"All those in favor of never pissing off Iida-kun, say aye!" Mina yelped.

"AYE!" Denki, Eijiro, Mineta, and Sero all answered in unison with hands raised.

"AYE!" Mamoru, Tsubasa, and even the currently dazed Toshiro and Nobuhiko agreed.

"Well then! That was a fine ending to this exerci-"

All Might felt a bit of blood escape his throat.

"Hm? Something wrong, sensei?" Rikido asked.

"N-Nothing! I just need to head to the bathroom. Shouldn't have had that beef burrito for lunch." All Might panicked. "That being said, good work everyone! Get changed and return to the classroom!" And with that, he suddenly dashed off. As he did, he briefly looked over his shoulder seeing Bakugo still zoned-out. 'Bakugo-shōnen is a mass of pride… and there's nothing more fragile than a heart that's swelled to bursting. As his teacher, I must counsel him well… but right now…!'

Smoke slowly emitted from his body as he coughed while still running, eventually managing to enter the staff room, the door closing before-

*POOF!*

-returning to his civilian form.

'If I teach a class… I barely have enough time… Shit!'

While Class 1-A and the two students of Class 1-B went back to get changed, All Might visited the infirmary. For the moment, Midoriya was the only one in one of many empty infirmary beds, with Recovery Girl at her desk. But there was no doubt that the beat-up members of S.I.N. will eventually fill those beds up quickly. So he had to make his visit brief.

"So, how's the kid?" He asked the nurse hero.

"You wanna know?" the old medical hero groaned, "I'll tell you! It's been no time at all since the boy's been enrolled here and yet this is his third time coming here! Why didn't you stop them, All Might!?"

"I… was only considering Midoriya-shōnen's feelings. That's why I hesitated to stop the match." All Might muttered.

"Mattaku… I know he's your favorite and you passed on your powers to him but you shouldn't spoil him." Recovery Girl huffed in annoyance.

All Might placed a hand to his mouth, "We can't be too loud here!" he said in a hushed tone, "There's only a select few that know what I truly look like, that includes the teachers, but only you, Midoriya-shounen, the principal, and a few of my closest friends know about my Quirk."

"Yes yes, I know." she grumbled, "It's not as if I'm itching to rest my laurels at the top. I'm just asking if it's really important to be a natural born hero or the so-called Symbol of Peace."

"If I no longer am, the superhuman society will be seized by evil." All Might replied. "This is the responsibility of those of us with this power."

Recovery Girl sighed at this, "Then it's all the more reason that you need to learn how to be a proper guide."

"Yes ma'am." All Might muttered.

"Honestly, if Ryūha were here, he'd tell you the same thing." the medical hero noted, "Hell, likely Nighteye would be telling you the exact same thing too."

"You're right…"

"Speaking of… I'm surprised that Midoriya came back here half-healed. That gravity girl told me what had happened. Ryūha's son used his aura to heal the brunt of this boy's injuries." she said.

"Yes. Hadōken-shōnen's Quirk Awakened. It's slow, but it's there." All Might said. "I was surprised. Even Ryūha didn't awaken that aspect of his Quirk until late into his final years… for Hadōken-shōnen to do that so quickly…"

"More than likely, he takes after his mother. She was the more empathetic of their family, so it's natural that her trait was passed down to her son. Which would explain why the strength of his Aura is dependent on how high his emotions are." Recovery Girl speculated, "For as long as I've lived, I've never seen Ryūha's Aura spike due to his emotional state."

"Nor have I. He's always kept his emotions in check, no matter how dire a situation is when on the job. The only time I've seen him angry is when…" All Might trailed off, remembering a certain incident that led to Ryūha and one of the Pro Heroes coming to blows.

Recovery Girl's expression briefly hardened before they heard footsteps coming in. All Might quickly panicked. "Oh, look at the time! I need to grade the students' performances today!" he yelped before running.

'What's his big ru-'

The nurse hero's thoughts were interrupted when the S.I.N members that Tenya had brutalized arrived, all groaning in pain or shivering in fear. Recovery Girl growled under her breath.

"AAAAAALLLL MIIIIIIIIGGGHHHHTTTT!"

Needless to say, the sight of the Symbol of Peace running like the devil was at his heels was a surreal sight for most of the students that saw it. No one could confirm that it would happen since All Might feared nothing.

Well, almost nothing…

Hours Later…

Izuku slowly opened his eyes, and the first thing he saw was the IV bag, the saline dripping ever so slowly, and the needle stuck into his arm. The next thing he saw was the ceiling of the infirmary and an analog clock that hangs above the wall in front of him. He had missed his afternoon classes.

"Ugh… wha? What happened?" he grumbled as he tried to block the light from hurting his eyes.

"Midoriya!"

The moss-haired boy looked to one side of his bed and to his surprise, saw Mamoru, looking overly relieved.

"Hadō… ken-san?" Izuku got out.

"Yokatta… you're alright!" Mamoru sighed heavily in huge relief. "I'm so glad you're alive!"

"I-I'm fine. Really." Izuku tried to reassure him.

"You have a good friend there young man." Recovery Girl said, approaching them. "As soon as classes were done for the day, he came straight over here. Hasn't left your side since."

"Wow. Uhh… thank you Hadōken-san." He thanked the martial artist.

"Just… try not to pull any more reckless stunts like that, okay?" Mamoru said.

"Duly noted." Izuku agreed before getting out of bed. Once he got his sling on, Mamoru escorted Izuku out of the infirmary to walk back towards the classrooms.

"Here." Mamoru reached into the pocket of his uniform pants and pulled out a thumb drive. "All the battles for today's Combat Training are here, including mine. You can analyze all the battles for yourself."

"Oh, thanks." Izuku thanked him as he pocketed the object, "We should probably head back to class."

"Yeah, just… one thing. Be prepared for what happens after you watch my battle…"

"Huh? Why?" Izuku looked confused.

"You'll know when you watch it…" Mamoru paled, the memories of what happened made him shiver in fear.

"Uh… okay." Izuku blinked.

The duo soon arrived back at the classroom and when Izuku slid the door open…

"Yo, Midoriya! You were fire in your match!" Eijiro complimented him, "Like, the way you stood up against Bakugo was badass!"

"Yeah, and you did great working alongside Uraraka!" Mina added.

"Uh… thanks." Izuku laughed sheepishly.

"Yeah, just seeing your battle, made us give it our all not to hold back either." Sero added. Izuku was surprised as many of his classmates approached and complimented him. They even introduced themselves to him one-by-one.

"I'm Kirishima Eijiro! We were just going over training right now!"

"Sero Hanta!"

"I'm Aoyama Yu-"

"Ashido Mina! You did good at dodging!"

"Asui Tsuyu! Call me Tsu-chan!"

"I'm Sato!"

"I'm Mineta!"

"So loud…" Fumikage sighed.

"Tokoyami-kun!" Tenya called out, approaching the bird-headed teen. "I must ask that you refrain from sitting on that desk!"

"What are you getting so worked up about? Is it really that big of a deal?" Jiro raised an eyebrow at the spectacled teen.

"Are we going to have a problem?" Tenya began to adjust his glasses. "I just simply cannot condone that action disrespecting the desk that the great men and women that were our upperclassmen sat at."

"No no no, it's fine!" Jiro panicked, with Toyokami quickly getting off the desk and wiping it.

"I am glad we have come to an agreement." Tenya said with a content sigh.

The last thing they wanted was to incur the prefect's wrath after what they saw.

"Why is everyone looking nervous?" Izuku asked, confused.

"Don't ask." They all said in unison.

"Ah, Deku-kun!" A familiar voice called out, as they looked to see Ochaco approaching him.

"Oh, Uraraka-sa-"

"Are you okay? How are your injuries?" Ochako quickly checked the moss-haired boy for any further injuries.

"U-Uh, I-I'm fine U-Uraraka-san!" Izuku stammered.

"Yurusenai. Yurusenai. Yurusenai. Yuruse-"

"Hmmmmmmmmm?!" Tenya suddenly looked dark.

"YIPE!"

The prefect nodded as he spotted the dust cloud dissipate.

'Those guys never give up…' Mamoru thought with a sweat drop. 'At least we can count on Iida-san to scare them away… though that begs the question on how the heck he learned how to fight like that?"

Izuku looked around and noticed a particular desk that was empty.

"Hey, where's Kacchan?" Izuku asked.

"Oh, I remember seeing the guy head home early." Eijiro pointed out.

"We all tried to stop him, but he left without saying a word." Ochaco added.

"I wouldn't bother with him for the time being." Mamoru sighed. "After all, his pride got hurt in his fight with Midoriya and he's saving what little dignity he has left in himself…" he offhandedly said.

To everyone's surprise, Izuku then suddenly ran out of the classroom, stopping at the window to look out of it, which showed the scenery outside. He looked downward and saw Bakugo walking away from the school. Izuku then took the opportunity to catch up to Bakugo, before completely leaving for home.

"Midoriya, wait!" Mamoru called out, but was no use as he decided to run after him.

Luckily, Izuku was able to reach Bakugo just before he could leave.

"Kacchan!" Izuku called out. The explosive hero stopped in his tracks and looked over his shoulder with a dark expression.

"What?"

Izuku flinched from his gaze, looking down after. What should he say? Should he really tell him the truth? This was a secret that he hadn't even told his mother. Let alone anyone. But… for some reason, he felt the need to… at least to clear the air with what happened earlier that day.

"I… There's one thing I feel like I have to tell you." Izuku began. "My Quirk… I got it from someone else. I can't tell you who, but… this power of mine. I can't control it yet. It's a borrowed power that I haven't made my own yet. That's why… I tried to beat you without using it. But in the end… I couldn't win that way and had to rely on it."

Both Bakugo and Mamoru, who was barely an earshot away, were surprised to hear this. Izuku… didn't start off with having a Quirk at first?

'Wait, so what Bakugo said was true? Izuku was Quirkless?' He thought.

"I've still got a long way to go… That's why… one day I will make this Quirk my own… and then beat you with my own power!"

'Wait what am I saying?! I only wanted to tell him that I didn't trick him!' Izuku panicked mentally.

"The hell are you talking about?" Bakugo growled, snapping Izuku out of his mental stupor. "Borrowed power? You're talking nonsense. What are you trying to do, make me out to be more of a fool than you already have? I lost to you… that's all it is!"

Bakugo's body trembled, as his hair covered his eyes.

'Is Bakugo… crying?' Mamoru thought.

"Watching that ice guy, I thought to myself, 'I can't beat him'! I even agreed with that ponytail-haired girl! Damn it all! Even that Aura bastard was right!" He then looked past Deku with a burning glare, "Yeah, I'm talking to you back there!" he shouted.

"Huh?!" Midoriya looked shocked, and turned around to see Mamoru standing there. "H-Hadōken-san?!"

Mamoru remained silent, ignoring Midoriya's outburst as he walked towards the two and stood next to Midoriya, staring at the explosive Quirk user with a glare.

"That's why Deku… from here on out… I'M GONNA BE NUMBER ONE ON MY OWN!" he declared, staring at the two with beads of tears at the corner of his eyes. "No accepting hand-outs, no using any connections, no bullshit to undercut it! When I become the Top Hero, it'll be because I worked my ass off to get to that spot!" He then looked away as he calmed down, "So don't you dare entertain the idea that you'll ever beat me again with your power-up!" He then growled under his breath as only Izuku could catch the words, "I won't settle for half-measures."

Mamoru stared at Bakugo for what seemed like an eternity before sighing, "Alright then. Let's make a bet." The martial artist said as he approached the Explosion Quirk user, "If one of us is able to succeed in our dream by graduation, then the loser will do what the winner wants. If Izuku or I win, you have to apologize to him for everything you've done to him since you got your Quirk."

"And if I win?"

Mamoru thought about it for a moment before giving his answer, "When you go pro, Izuku and I have to be your sidekicks until you retire. No questions asked."

"WHAT?!" Izuku gawked, "Hadōken-san, you can't be serious!"

Bakugo couldn't help but smirk, "Alright, you got a de-"

"HOOO THERE, BAKUGO-SHŌNEN!"

All three individuals were freaked out by the sudden arrival of All Might, who quickly rested his hands on his shoulders.

"I'll tell you this once! Self-confidence is indeed a very vital thing, and you're not mistaken that you have talent befitting a pro!" he encouraged the Explosion Quirk user, "From here on out-"

"I'll try and do things under my own power."

"Eh?"

Bakugo then removed the Top Hero's hands from his shoulder, "Listen here, old man. I might as well say it here. I'm gonna surpass you too! I'll earn the Top Hero spot one day, and I don't want any pity thrown my way for me to get to it!"

He then turned towards Mamoru and Deku, "You two better keep your end of the bargain. Because when that day comes, we'll see who comes out on top!" he declared before walking away with a fire burning in his heart.

"Erm… okay…" All Might noted with confusion, 'He sure told me!'

Mamoru sighed before looking towards Izuku, "I'm sorry for putting you on the spot there, Midoriya. But I couldn't just stand around and do nothing, not after knowing what I know now about you and Bakugo." he apologized.

"A-Ah, no, that's uh…"

"I see that you three must have had an interesting conversation." All Might observed.

"Just… a misunderstanding, that's all." Mamoru replied.

"It's fine really. I guess I should have told you guys a lot sooner than later…" Izuku apologized, "Although, I didn't really realize that you were there when Bakugo and I were talking."

"I just wanted to make sure you two didn't fight again, considering that you still consider him a friend, right?" Mamoru correctly guessed.

Izuku nodded, "Yeah… and I know that you guys are probably gonna think I'm crazy or I have some kind of Stockholm Syndrome. But I've mostly seen what he was like before well… he ended up excelling. He and I were inspired by All Might, still inspired by All Might."

"I'm touched that you would say that, Midoriya-shōnen." All Might said. "But again, I'm more interested in that conversation you three had before I showed up."

Izuku panicked, 'Oh no, that's right! I accidentally told Bakugo about my Quirk and Hadōken-san probably heard it too!'

"Hmmm? Well, shōnen, I'm listening~" All Might bent down cupping his hand to his ear with a wide smile.

"U-Uh… did you know that Kacchan has a secret stash of shōjo manga?"

"Eh?"

The sound of a car screeching to a halt echoed in the distance as Izuku quickly realized what he said and began running for the hills. They were about to ask what was wrong before hearing the sound of explosions getting closer and closer, spotting a red-faced Bakugo flying past them and right for Izuku.

"DEKU, DON'T YOU DARE!"

"AAAHHH! I'M SORRY!"

"How did he even hear that?" Mamoru sweat dropped.

"Hadōken-shōnen… there are some things that men aren't supposed to know the answer to." All Might could say as they watched Izuku somehow outrun the irate Explosion user.

"H-Hai…"

From above, the rest of Class 1-A were confused as to why Bakugo was chasing after Izuku.

"I wonder what happened?" Mina pondered.

"It's a fated battle between men." Ochaco answered with a determined huff.

"More like a chase between cat and mouse." Sero noted, "Even still, look at the speed Midoriya-kun is pulling off."

"She was referring to earlier, before the chase." Fumikage pointed out, "After their declaration of war, it would seem that Midoriya spilled some kind of detail about Bakugo that he never wanted unearthed."

"I can relate to that." Denki agreed, but as much as he wanted to say how it happened, the death glare he was getting from Tsubasa was more than enough for him to keep his lip shut.

"WHEN I GET MY HANDS ON YOU, DEKU! I'M GONNA BURN YOU THROAT FROM EVER SQUEALING AGAIN!"

"GYAAAAAA! I'M SORRY, KACHAAN! I DIDN'T MEAN IIIITTT!"

KRD: And with that, this chapter comes to a close! It was a bit shorter than I would've wanted though. Usually I get to 10k words as my quota, but lately I haven't been hitting that. Makes me wonder if my quality is going down…

HEX: Not really, but it does open up something we could do whenever we done't: omakes! Which I'm gonna call Hero Bits

KRD: Huh. Like the Shinigami Zukan in Bleach?

HEX: Yep, also like the little end comic strips in Archie Sonic since well… they don't always have to be canon. Just little fun things with the cast. Though there will be a few canon ones and we will indicate which is which.

KRD: Huh, okay. Yeah, sure why not? It could be fun.

HEX: Anyways, enjoy our first Hero Bit… which is an homage on a funny as heck episode of Eddsworld.

KRD: Don't forget. Review and comment on this story. Love it, hate it, but just know that you've read it.

Both: Go Beyond, Plus Ultra!

HERO BIT!

At home, Izuku opened up his computer and plugged in the thumb drive Mamoru had given him before school ended. He was thankfully able to hide from Bakugo's wrath by entering a costume shop, putting on a poncho, sombrero, and mustache, currently sitting on his bed.

'Maybe I should keep it handy for an instant disguise?' he thought to himself.

Izuku shook his head. He'll worry about it later. Right now, he needed to watch all the battles he had missed while he was unconscious.

"Okay, let's see. Huh, nice work on Ashido-san's end. I'm kind of surprised that Todoroki-san made a clean sweep there." He commented as he watched each match, "And Hadōken-san and Kazegami-san's match isi-"

Izuku's face soon gained a curious gaze as Tenya came into frame.

"Iida-san, what is he-"

["Step away… from Hadōken…"]

["Uh, Iida you made your point. We're all behind you buddy."]

["They must be brought to justice… So, are you punks ready to admit defeat? Or do I have to break a few eggheads?"]

"Huh, I wonder wha-"

And then, Izuku's face paled as the carnage began…

"Oh dear…"

*POW!*

["OOOWWWW!"]

Izuku winced in pain at the first shot.

["H-Hey, my arm's not supposed to bend that way!"]

*CRACK!*

"Oh crap! That looks painful!" he yelped.

["Don't let him come near me!"]

*WHAM!*

*BAM!*

"What in the world am I watching?" Izuku had to resist the urge to barf.

["Why are you hitting me with my skull?! That's physically impossible!"]

*SNAP!*

["My leg! My leg…"]

Izuku yelped in shock, gripping his leg as he did so.

"Izuku, honey? Is everything okay?" He could hear his mom call out.

"Uh, everything's fine!" Izuku said, briefly looking away before covering his eyes at another grizzly hit.

"What's going on in there?"

"NOTHING! JUST WATCHING A MOVIE!"

However, he wished it was a movie. Because the more he continued to watch the video, the more horrified he was.

"I think I'm gonna be sick…"

"Oh crap! There's no way that should be legal!"

"Why the face!? Why did it have to be the face!?"

"I don't think he can hold his breath for that long. I don't think anyone can hold it for that long!"

"At least his feet are okay… if a bit twisted…"

After several minutes, Izuku finally finished the video.

"Finally… it's over…" he sighed, shakily.

He then quickly grabbed one of his empty notebooks that he used for his Hero notes and wrote down that notebook's first words.

Never anger Iida Tenya… lest you not value your life…
