"So that's the famous Tomorrowland I heard so much about!" Jameson exclaimed whilst standing at the entrance of the futuristic part in Magic Kingdom.

"You've never been here before?" Poe asked his little nephew.

"No; I've only seen people dreaming about it while I protected them from Dream Eaters and Nightmare himself." A little chuckle escaped the owl's beak. "I usually don't tell what people dream about, but I lost the count of how many times Logan made that dream where he shoots little Zs in that cart with lasers. So? What are we supposed to do here?"

"Just have fun and enjoy ourselves as much as possible!" Rachel replied, taking Jameson by the wing and stepping forward. She and her charming boyfriend, Poe, had been wanting to spend some quality time with their nephew and give him the chance to have a childhood for quite some time now. That day finally came, and the Sword Mage intended to make the little owl enjoy every second of it.

Kicking things off, the trio headed to the Stitch's Great Escape attraction show, where the Grand Councilwoman appeared on television screens and told the guests that they would be guards for the United Galactic Federation. Jameson took out his baseball bat, thinking they would have to fend off bad guys, but Rachel and Poe explained that all of this was just a game. After a little more talking, Captain Gantu suddenly gave an alert and everybody headed to High Security Level 3 prisoner teleportation chamber.

When they came out of the attraction, Jameson couldn't stop laughing. "Man, I didn't know that Stitch was so chaotic!"

"He sure is! I still don't understand how Beth managed to deal with the little blue guy during the MWGP!" Rachel agreed, a chuckle in her mouth.

For the next attraction, they went to the Monsters Inc. Laugh Floor, where Mike Wazowski served as the host. After the little green monster gave a proper welcome, the guests were invited to text a good joke to help fill the laugh canister. Then, one by one, the jokes were spelled out for everybody's entertainment. While most of them flew over Jameson's head, the ones he did understand made him giggle and even laugh out loud. When that happened, Rachel and Poe couldn't help but look at him with smiles. There truly wasn't anything more precious than a kid's laughter.

With the comedy show over and their tummies aching from laughing so much, the little family decided to 'fuel up' on a little snack at the Lunching Pad. Rachel got herself a delicious Banh Mi Hot Dog with a Mickey Pretzel and a goblet of Monster Energy. Poe opted for a simple All-Beef Hot Dog with ketchup, some churros and a bottle of water. As for Jameson, he treated himself to a Cuban Hot Dog with a Space Ranger Slushy and also a Mickey Pretzel. After much thinking, Poe decided to follow his family's example and asked for a Mickey Pretzel to be added to his command.

After finding a table where they would be shielded from the sun, Rachel and Poe stood still and watched as their little nephew ate his Cuban Hot Dog with enthusiasm. He barely took two bites before finding himself with dijonnaise all around his beak. "Thish ish delishious!" the little owl beamed with his beak half-full.

"Jameson, don't talk with your beak full! That's disgusting!" Rachel scolded, even if she couldn't prevent herself from finding the situation sort of adorable. It was nice to see Jameson acting like a kid.

"With the way you're eating, I could believe this is your first time eating a hot dog," Poe pointed out with a chuckle after swallowing a bite of his own snack. He then thought about something. "Say, Jameson, what exactly did you eat when you were all by yourself?"

The black owl swallowed his bite before responding. "Well, I don't know if you guys remember, but defeating Dream Eaters in the Dream Realm grants synthesis ingredients and munny; I used the latter to get myself something to eat in the Magical World. Epcot was my favorite place to go; there was so much stuff to eat everywhere. Logan and Grayson showed me the best restaurants across World Showcase."

Rachel couldn't help but frown; she didn't like the idea of a kid being left alone without any responsible figure to make sure he ate correctly. She would definitely keep an eye on his diet from now on. The Sword Mage turned her head to see her boyfriend looking at his meal, lost in his thoughts. "Is something wrong, Poe?"

"Huh? Oh, no, it was nothing, my dear Rachel," the sorcerer duck assured. However, he then looked at his nephew. "I was just wondering something... Jameson, I know you don't like bringing up your past, but could you tell me how my sister was during your time with her?"

Having not expected that question, Jameson looked at his uncle for a few seconds before swallowing his bite and looking down. "Well... I didn't spend too much time with her, since I was in the Dream Realm most of the time... But, what little time I shared with her between missions, she always acted kind, but somewhat distant with me. Whenever I successfully returned from a mission with the synthesis ingredients she wanted, Mom would congratulate me and give me a little pat on the head before letting out an evil-sounding laugh and tell me what to get next. But except for that, not much. When not giving me assignments, she spent all of her time in her lab - I think she actually talked to her vulture companion more than she did to me."

Poe let out a sigh of disappointment. "There goes my hope that she had changed since the time I got turned into a raven..."

"Has your mom ever did anything to hurt you, Jameson?" Rachel asked, her auntie instincts kicking in.

The owl shook his head. "No. I did fail a mission once or twice, but she only let me know she was disappointed before sending me out again."

A wave of relief washed over the soon-to-be married couple. It seemed that Magica had not been as cruel with Jameson as she had been with Lena. "Tell me, Jameson, when exactly did you learn that your mother was using you for evil reasons and decided to leave her?" Rachel asked.

Jameson's ears dropped, any trace of happiness fading from his adorable face. "I had been gathering synthesis ingredients in the Dream Realm for quite some time. Mom always told me that it was because 'bad guys had done horrible things, and it was up to us to take them down for it'. She said that I was acting as a hero by taking on her missions, and that, one day, she'd be strong enough that she could defeat the bad guys and then, we would have a wonderful home where we'd be happy together forever."

He sighed and rubbed his eyes. "How naïve I was... Anyway, one day, whilst doing some research for potential dreams to enter, I found myself catching a family watching the Ducktales show on television from their hotel room. Mister Scrooge and his friends looked a lot like Mom, so I made it a special routine to secretly watch the show from the shadows every day, after my mission was done. Needless to say, when Mom first appeared, I was at a lost; why was she acting like the show's bad guy whilst the others were good? And why was she being so cruel to Lena - whom I was shocked to realize was actually my cousin, since she called my mom 'Aunt Magica'."

Rachel and Poe frowned. They did not like where this was going. "Then, I eventually got to the episode where Mom gets Scrooge's Number One Dime, becomes powerful and kills Lena... Well, she didn't actually 'kill' her, but at the time, I thought that's what happened. Even though she got defeated in the end and everybody celebrated, I was left shocked and completely lost. I thought I was being a hero all that time, but in reality, my mom was the bad guy all along. And I had been helping her..." Tears started forming in the corner of Jameson's eyes. "I remember that day; I did not return home. Instead, I went back to the Dream Realm and cried nonstop for hours. My Dream Eater friends attempted to comfort me, but to no avail..."

"Oh, Jameson..." Standing up, Rachel went to take her nephew into a hug. "There's no reason to blame yourself. You didn't know any better. Besides, your mother hasn't hurt anybody, so as far as we know, your actions did not cause any trouble."

Jameson accepted the hug, wiping his eyes after it had ended. "Thanks, Auntie... I made an effort to keep watching the rest of the show, hoping that Mom would eventually turn good and bring back my cousin. While Lena did eventually return, she never made amends with Mom... I'm happy that Lena and all of Mister Scrooge's family got a happy ending... But I still couldn't shake off the reality that I had been created to cause evil. You already know what happens next."

"Yeah. While I'm slightly mad at Logan for keeping your existence a secret from me, I'm also glad he was the one to bring you out of the Dream Realm and into a group of friends," Rachel admitted. She then gave an unusually soft smile and placed a hand on her nephew's shoulder. "Just know that you don't have anything to be afraid of, Jameson. We won't let your mom hurt you like she did to your cousin. Ever."

The owl kid smiled at his auntie. "Say, have you finally told Lena about your lineage, Jameson?" Poe then asked him.

He nervously rubbed his wing. "No... After everything Mom did to her, I'm still too scared to tell her. By fear that she could hate me for it. Violet, Venom, Gabriel and Logan all assured me it would be okay, but I still hesitate..."

Poe knelt down and patted him on the head. "How about this: after we're done having fun here, we'll go see your cousin and then, you can tell her everything. Your auntie and I will be with you when that happens. It's important to get these things off your chest."

"Hum... Okay, I guess I can try...," Jameson nodded, still whilst rubbing his wing.

With that out of the way, the little family finished eating before keeping the fun going. The next attraction was the Tomorrowland Speedway. Rachel and Poe sat together in one of the karts, with Jameson on the former's lap. He laughed and shouted throughout the whole race, repeatedly telling Rachel to go faster, which she more than happily obliged. Thanks to her experience in the Magical World Grand Prix, she easily got them first place.

Not wanting to let the adrenaline excitation go down, Rachel brought the group to the Buzz Lightyear Astro Blaster attraction, well-decided on seeing if it was as good as Logan claimed it to be. By the time they were done, she understood why; shooting targets on a mobile cart was super fun! Before leaving, they made a quick stop at the attraction's souvenir shop. Since Jameson never got the chance to properly enjoy his childhood, Rachel insisted on buying him a toy to make up for the lost time.

"... And what am I supposed to do with it?" Jameson curiously asked as he held a little Buzz Lightyear action figure in his wing.

"It's a toy, Jameson; you just have to play with it," Rachel explained. "You know, make it fly around, make laser noises, things like that."

Jameson simply blinked his golden eyes. Looking at his toy, he made it fly around whilst making 'PEW, PEW!' with his beak, as his aunt instructed. "Now what?"

This caused the Sword Mage to exchange a frown with her boyfriend. The poor owlet got so little time for his childhood that he had no idea what to do with a toy. Hopefully they could catch up on that, too. "It's getting dark; I think we should start heading back now," Poe remarked, looking at the sky that turned a dark auburn.

The little family stopped by Auntie Gravity's Galactic Goodies to get themselves some ice cream before leaving Tomorrowland and walking back home. As they did so, Jameson couldn't help but notice how Rachel groaned and held a hand to the side of her head. "Are you okay, Auntie?"

"Yes, it's nothing, Jameson," she assured her nephew with a little smile. "It's because of the mental drain I suffered since the day of the tournament. You know, because of my new Dragon Queen form."

"It is hurting you?"

"No, no; I've been using some flowers to keep it under control - they were given to me by a hold acquaintance," Rachel explained. "I think I'll use them again once we're home."

"I still don't feel at ease with this man around you, Rachel," Poe expressed his worries. "Are you certain you can trust him?"

"Poe, we already talked about this; I trust Arbutus enough to help me with this."

"I just wish for everything to remain purely professional between you two, my dear," the duck replied with an air of annoyance.

Not wanting this wonderful day to end on a sour note, Jameson was quick to change the subject: "So, are you guys planning to have your wedding soon?"

Instantly, the mood got brighter. "Silver and Staghart are organizing everything - just like they did with Adam and Melanie, two years ago. They haven't given us a precise date, but we'd like to make it happen before the end of the year, if possible," Rachel explained.

"Make what happen before the end of the year?"

The trio turned to see none other than Lena the teen sorceress accompanied by her boyfriend, Brooklyn the gargoyle. She was wearing a gothic purple dress with black stars on her skirt. Brooklyn, meanwhile, was actually wearing a dark blue shirt alongside his usual pants. "Lena, dear!" Poe beamed and went to greet his daughter with a hug. "Rachel and I were simply discussing our upcoming marriage."

"You guys are getting married?!" Brooklyn exclaimed in surprise.

"Oh, right, you didn't know, Brooklyn. I forgot we didn't tell all of our friends," Rachel realized. She took Poe's hand with a smile. "But, yeah, Poe and I are getting married, and we'd like to make it happen before the end of the year. Hopefully Silver and Staghart can make our wish come true."

"Okay, sounds amazing!" Brooklyn said with a smile. He then noticed Lena staring at the ground. "You okay, Lena? What's wrong?"

"... No offense to you, Rachel, but... I still can't wrap my head around the fact I'm actually gonna get a mom. Well, stepmom, actually, but a mother figure nonetheless," the young sorceress admitted.

"You don't have anything to be afraid of, Lena," Rachel assured. "Even if I'm technically becoming your stepmom, that doesn't mean we can't be friends anymore. I mean, it's not like I'm gonna invade your private life, give you curfews and things like that, it's not my kind." The Sword Mage sighed and rubbed her eyes. "Man, in the span of not even a year, I've become a wife, an aunt AND a stepmom. Seems like I won't be getting much rest with all the work..."

Lena raised an eyebrow at one part of that statement. "An aunt? What do you mean, Rachel? Did one of your nephews from the Real World come to visit?"

At this, Rachel and Poe widened their eyes. They slowly turned their attention to Jameson, who let out a sigh, knowing what he had to do. He stepped forward and approached the teen sorceress. "Hum, Lena? There's something I gotta tell you..."

"What is it?" Lena asked. Judging by the owlet's tone and expression, she believed that someone may have died.

Jameson opened and closed his beak multiple times, apparently unable to let the words out. He ran his gaze from Lena to Poe and Rachel over and over again, trying to find the strength to talk. Then, after many seconds of fighting, he closed his eyes and forced himself to blurt it out: "Lena, I'm the son of Magica and, by extension, your little cousin!"

A heavy silence befell the atmosphere following this statement. Many uncomfortable seconds passed before Jameson found the courage to open one eye and see Lena frozen on the spot with her eyes wide open. "You... What...?"

The little owl sighed before repeating himself: "I'm the son of Magica De Spell... This means that I'm your cousin..."

Understandably, Lena was at a lost for words. That's when Jameson proceeded to explain his whole backstory once more, Rachel and Poe sometimes joining in to carry the explanations when their nephew felt too nervous to talk. Before long, the explanation was over. The truth finally came out.

"... Okay, I get it now," Brooklyn nodded. "That explains why you spent all of your time in Lena's world and why Gabriel told us that you weren't a guest but a creation of the Magical World. Everything's clear now..."

Jameson nodded, his big ears dropped and his gaze on the ground. He did not dare to look up at his cousin after telling the truth. After staying in silence for what felt like an eternity, the little owl began whimpering, tears forming in the corner of his eyes. "P-Please, Lena... Don't hate me...," he practically begged. "I-I know that Mom has done a lot of horrible things to you, but I-I'm not like that... I'm not evil, I swear-"

CHOMP!

Jameson froze on the spot as he felt something wrap itself around him. Something soft and warm. Only when he turned his head did he realize that Lena had thrown herself at him, not for an attack... But for a hug...

"L-Lena...?"

The hug lasted for an eternity before Lena backed up and looked at him with little tears in her eyes. "Why did you keep all of that from me during all this time, Jameson? You didn't have to stay alone in the Dream Realm; I would've welcomed you with open arms!"

"R-Really?!" Jameson exclaimed. "But-How, I don't understand, I'm the son of-"

"Who cares if you're the son of Aunt Magica?" Lena cut him off. "You forget that she's also the one who created me - and made use of me for her evil schemes, too! We're no different from one another! Plus, you've done nothing but help people since coming to the Magical World. You saved my friends and I during our sleepover, last summer; helped Logan and his friends to rescue Sora; protected my little sister when you fought that Organization XIII guy; took a shot for Dad in the Hero's Rumble, the list goes on! I never thought of you as potentially evil, not even once, Jameson!" With a smile, she placed a hand on his shoulder. "When I look at you, it's not a product of my aunt that I see, but a little cousin... Another member of my family..."

Jameson stared at her in amazement. He could not find the words to speak, his beak trembling alongside his body. Then, eventually, he just couldn't keep it inside anymore and threw himself into his cousin's arms. Lena was more than happy to give him a well-earned embrace. The little owl cried a lot into her sweater, finally releasing the pain he had kept inside for so many years. Watching the scene unfold, Rachel couldn't help but let out a little tear, too, Poe coming to wrap an arm around her with a smile.

After an entire minute, Jameson stepped out of the hug and wiped his tears, feeling like a huge weight had been removed from his shoulders. Curiously, Lena magically made a little towel appear out of nowhere and began rubbing his face with it. "H-Hey, what are you doing?"

"Removing your face paint," the sorceress replied with a smile. "You won't need it anymore. Plus, I've always wondered what you look like without it." She eventually removed all the paint from Jameson's face, letting everybody see his natural, black-feathered expression. She laughed a bit. "Honestly, you look a lot more adorable without the paint."

Jameson smiled and hugged his cousin once more. Rachel and Poe decided to join in, Brooklyn as well. The Dream Walker no longer had to carry any burden alone...

Author's note: *sniff*...?! Why are you looking at me like that?! I'm not crying, just sweating from the eyes!

Not counting the Virtual World battles, I think this is the first chapter of this story that doesn't focus on Logan. That's because I've been wanting to write a chapter of Jameson bonding with his family for quite some time now. Plus, it was about time Lena learned about Jameson being her cousin and the two being united at last. You gotta be happy for the little guy, cause I sure am!

Lucky for me, it turns out that cegep isn't draining as much of my time as I thought it would. I mean, it does require a lot of my attention, but I can still give some of my free time to this site and video games.

We not only had a fun chapter full of fluff, but also got a little glimpse of the future. If you forgot, Poe proposed to Rachel in chapter 54, and she said yes. I don't know when and how their wedding will happen, but I'm really looking forward to it!
