''What...what do you mean you're not human?'' Sienna stumbled over her words, unable to comprehend what Seiya had just told her. It was impossible. Supernatural creatures didn't exist. They were just phantoms from stories and fairy-tales, everyone knows they don't really exist. To her surprise Seiya was still looking at her, a mixture of sadness and hopeful understanding written all over his face. He tried to take her hand in his, but she refused to give it to him. ''I know it's hard to believe, Sienna. But it's the truth.'' Sienna shook her head in disbelief. ''So what are you exactly? By the looks of you you don't appear to be covered in tons of hair, so I'm ruling out the possibility of you being a werewolf. And if it hadn't been for you biting me, I wouldn't have thought you were a vampire. Is that what you are? Are you a vampire?'' Sienna shook her head again in disbelief as the fear appeared behind her eyes. ''How is this even possible?''

''I'm not a vampire or a werewolf, so you don't need to be afraid of me.''

''I don't know how to explain the science behind it, but I was like this since I was born. I learned later that it was my father that was the supernatural one. You see, there are several different types of supernatural creatures in this world. Father told me we've been living alongside humans for centuries. But we've kept our existence hidden to avoid persecution and harm.'' Seiya explained patiently. ''I still don't understand! What kind of supernatural are you?! You're telling me your father was a supernatural, but what supernatural is that!'' Sienna was yelling now, though she didn't realize it, till her throat ached with soreness. Seiya remained really calm, considering the situation, and despite Sienna's outburst. ''I believe my father was a saint. The saint of lighting I believe. As for myself, I am a saint, a half saint.'' Seiya admitted quietly. Sienna's expression was a mixture of confusion and utterly disbelief. ''But saints are just a myth! They're just things that people can believe in religiously! There's no proof that they actually exist!'' Seiya shook his head at this. ''They are very much real, Sienna. I am standing here right in front of you, so there's your proof.'' Sienna seemed to pause for a moment, considering her next words carefully. ''I know it's a lot to take in, but I promise you I'm not here to harm you. I just couldn't continue to be with you, if I couldn't tell you about myself.'' Sienna wasn't sure what to say next, but one thing was for sure, Seiya wasn't who she thought he was.

Sienna's mind was in a whirlpool, she couldn't believe what she was hearing. Even though a part of her thought Seiya was currently just some crazy person, she couldn't deny that there was definitely something in his eyes that made her want to believe in him. She could just sense the sincerity behind his words. He was telling her the truth. However that still didn't make any of what was happening alright. For either of them. For a moment Sienna couldn't deny that she felt like a character out of Twilight, or vampire Diaries. One of two supernatural contents that she was seriously reconsidering now. ''I don't understand why you're telling me this? You could have just chosen to keep it to yourself? What made you think you needed to tell me?'' she asked softly.

''I already answered that question, Sienna. It's because I can't allow myself to fall in love with you, if I'm unable to tell you the truth about myself. I want to protect you. And if I am to do that, you need to know the truth.'' ''I wanted to give you a chance. A chance to tell you, and let you decide how we proceed. If you never want to see me again, I'll respect your decision and leave immediately. I want to be honest with you, and sleep soundly at night knowing my conscience is clear.'' Even though his tone was intense, Sienna was taken aback by the flutter in her heart, which was unexpected. She hadn't been expecting to be taking this so well. Being told the person you may have feelings for, isn't human? How many people can say they've had that happen to them? Well none that really existed. ''Like I said before, Sienna, I understand that this is a lot to take in. I don't expect you to make any decisions right away, take your time to process everything. Now that I've told you, I'm practically an open book. I'll answer anything you want me too, in the best of my ability.'' Seiya nodded gravely while Sienna just nodded back, still trying to process everything. She knew she needed to take time to think about what to do next because ignoring the situation could have dire consequences. She couldn't brush it aside and needed to face it head-on.

"I'll be heading back to the cabin now. I want you to know that I am grateful for your honesty, Sieya.'' The emotions started to overwhelm her, as she found she'd almost barely been able to get out those last words. ''I feel like I just need some time.''

''Of course, Sienna. But hold on a second.'' Before she could tell him no, that she wanted to leave, she found herself staring at him, surprise suddenly on her face, as she watched him quickly slid his shirt over his head. ''Wait, what the hell are you doing?!'' she shouted, the shock evident in her voice. ''It's too cold for you to walk back to the cabin how you are. I take it your clothes are probably very wet at this point, so here's mine.'' Sienna tried to avoid looking at his muscular frame, as she said. ''I don't think that very necessary. It's not that far of a walk.''

''No, really, I prefer you take my shirt, then know you might catch a cold.'' He wore a small smile on his face as he handed the t-shirt over to her. ''I apologize if it doesn't smell great. It's all I've had for some time.'' Sienna hesitated momentarily, not due to any concern about wearing a dirty/smelly t-shirt but because she wondered if accepting the shirt, implied ownership over him. Like somehow he was telling her he was hers, and would do anything for her? Sienna wasn't sure how she felt about that. Suppressing this peculiar thought, she reluctantly pushed it aside and slid the t-shirt over her exposed chest, observing it as it covered her once bare breasts. It was over-sized on her, hanging loosely on her frame, but she couldn't deny that it surprisingly provided her with warmth and comfort, which was unusual for a t-shirt. Normally, she didn't feel particularly attractive displaying her bare arms, but this time, it was different. She surprisingly felt alright, but then her gaze was inexplicably fixated on his body, scrutinizing every detail and etching it into her memory. The air grew tense as she focused on something that filled her with horrific anguish."Seiya, what are those?" she asked, her gaze fixated on his chest and stomach. On closer inspection, she noticed several faint white scars that crisscrossed his body. Seiya's eyes darted downwards to where she was staring, a mixture of embarrassment and shame written all over his face. He hadn't anticipated her seeing them, but in the rush of the moment, he had forgotten about their existence. Now that she had glimpsed them, he knew he couldn't conceal them from her anymore.

Softly, he spoke of reminders that filled his voice with great sadness.

She couldn't help but ask, "Reminders of what?"

Sienna reached out in concern, tracing the reminder with her fingertips, but her voice broke as she asked, "Who did this to you?" With a heavy sigh, he slowly shook his head and lifted the burden from his shoulders, taking her hand in his and removing it from his body. ''That is a story for another time.'' Try as she may to respect his choice, she found herself replying with. ''I'll be back to bring you dinner in a few hours.'' she told him as she whisked on past him, disappearing into the darkness, before he could even get a word out to her.
