Prologue – Part 13

Hot Spring Trip – Finale

May 5th, Tuesday, 2009

Hakone-Yumoto

After learning that the hotel proved an all-you-can-eat buffet; both me and Wanko went to town on it.

We both had so many plates nearly everyone just watched in amazement as we scarfed it all down.

"*Om nom, Om nom, munch, munch*… Oh, this ham is great, and the fish is good, too!" Kazuko said happily.

"Yeah, and so are there omelets!" I replied.

"Wanko, Nagamasa; this milk here is said to be straight from the cow." Momoyo showed us two cartons of fresh milk.

Both of us took them and gulped it down, "Wow, you can really tell the difference."

"Pwah! It's nice and creamy!" Kazuko said.

"Oh, Kazuko you've got a milk mustache." I pointed out to her.

"Ah, so do you, ahaha!" Kazuko gigged at the sight.

Wiping mine off, Momoyo wiped off her sister's and licked it from her fingers.

Chris in the meanwhile was shocked by mine and Kazuko's amount of food we'd consumed, "I expected Nagamasa-san's appetite to be quite large. But I am still surprised by just how much you've eaten Dog."

"I can only manage a second serving of rice." Yukie said.

"I'd expect that would be enough for someone like you Mayucchi." Chris replied.

"There's a bit of correlation between appetite and strength." Momoyo said.

"Me and Nagamasa have been training here in the mountains since daybreak, of course we've got big appetites." Kazuko explained.

"I too train in the mornings." Chris retorted.

"If you ask me, you don't train nearly enough." Wanko countered.

Miyako playing to Chris' love of Japan, "Quickly eating mountains of food is a virtue in Edo."

"Japan is truly incredible." Chris fell for it.

"Chris please… learn to doubt people more easily." I said with my head in my hands trying to hold back a chuckle.

"Hey Wanko, do you want some of my eggplant and carrot slices? Say, 'ahh.' I handed her my piece of remaining some of the pickled vegetables on my plate

"*Munch, munch… Mmmm, delicious." Wanko smiled as she devoured the small offering I gave her.

"Where's my serving?" Momoyo playfully whined.

"You'd just take my whole bowl. Well I did get two so, here's one of them." I hand Momoyo one of my bowls of pickled vegetables.

"Hoh, thank you!" And so she too went to scarfing it down.

Chris watching Kazuko's endless appetite is quite taken in, "I cannot ever imagining you getting sick."

"Yep, that's the plan." Kazuko replied.

"Every day, she trains fiercely, eats her fill, and sleeps as much as she wants… leaving no opening for any god of pestilence to sneak in." Miyako said with a proud smirk, as if Kazuko were her child.

"If any tried, I'd cut them down." Kazuko said seriously.

Mayucchi continued to softly nibble away at her breakfast which Chris and Momoyo pointed out, "I-Is it that impressive?"

"Well given what we can compare it too…" Miyako said as she pointed to me and Kazuko still scarfing down what remains of our breakfast.

"Table manners back home are a bit more… wild." Momoyo replies.

"Says the girl who ate a whole plate of leftover pork cutlets?" I pointed out.

"Hahaha, what was that my protégé?" Momoyo says while cracking her knuckles.

"Nothing, it was absolutely nothing at all…" I reply getting get message.

"Oh Dog, Nagamasa you also eat the smelt heads?" Chris said as she saw us pick apart the entire fish.

"Yeah, never leave any edible meat you can get." I replied.

"Kuri, you've still got edible pieces of your grilled horse mackerel." Momoyo pointed out the various places Chris hadn't gotten to.

"Look at Mayucchi's plate, she's picked her fish dry." Wanko pointed out in which indeed, Yuki's plate was clean.

"You're right. In comparison, mine looks sloppy." Chris realized

"I never used to eat them, but fish eyes are actually pretty good." I said.

"Yeah, me too." Kazuko replied.

"Nagamasa-san, is Yamato still asleep?" Mayucchi asked me.

"Hmm, when I saw him before training he still was I think." He was still coughing in his sleep, and if I remember during the match is when his fever would spike. Pushing himself to wasn't going to help him either.

Yukie still insistent on checking on him left the table and went to go see him.

"Hmm, I hope he's alright… I wouldn't want my little bro getting some kind of fever." Momoyo said worryingly.

"Hmm, you'd know all about that wouldn't you?" I said cryptically.

"Ahahaha…" She merely laughed in response.

"Did something happen to Yamato?" Chris asked us.

Thinking on the fly I said, "I think after we were hanging out last night for a bit too long, he must've caught a cold or something. I think I heard him coughing last night."

"Mm… well I suppose if it's just a cold…" Chris seemed content with my answer.

However all doubts were assuaged when Yamato, who just at a glance from people like Momoyo, Kazuko and I could tell he was sick from how he was trying to hold himself all headed down to the riverbank.

Both Chris and Yamato stared each other down, more then ready to defeat the other.

With Momoyo and Kazama hosting, the rest of us watched on the sidelines.

"This is going to be a one-on-one duel between both Chris and Yamato." Kazama opened the event.

"Capt and I are today's judges and organizers. Let's rock." Momoyo was more then ready as well.

"You still feeling slightly under the weather?" Chris asked Yamato.

Yamato shrugged his shoulders, "Eh, it's nothing I can't handle. Let's do this."

Miyako points out, "You did seem a bit off last night."

However on the sidelines, Mayucchi's concern is quite obvious on her face since she'd learned about Yamato's true condition a few hours ago.

"What's wrong? Do you have a stomachache?" Kazuko asked her.

"No, it isn't that, but… I'm worried." Mayucchi said nervously.

Kazuko tried to console her, "It's not like they're fighting to the death. It's just a competition."

"I know the guy took cold medicine to hold it back, but with his condition compared to mine last which went away last night, that'll only do so much…"

"Capt and I spent a good whole three minutes thinking about how to make this a fair duel." Momoyo said.

"So you're half-assing it. Great…" I did not have the strength of spirit to say that aloud.

"So, after all that, we figured we ought to go with a small-scale Kawakami War." Kazama explained.

"A Kawakami war? That sounds like a tremendous sort of fight." Mayucchi said hearing the name.

"In China, it's called Tong Guan's game." Miyako explained

"Do you know about it, Miyako-san?" Mayucchi asked.

She nodded, "It's named after a general named Tong Guan, who conducted a game against a rival Liao nation. It is able to determine the superior force with the need for death and is…"

But Capt was upset that Miyako was stealing his thunder, "No fair, Miyako! Explaining it is my job!"

"There you go again…" Miyako stopped her explanation.

"It's normally a system where two classes wanna go at it. For this version, we've got a bunch of events written up and thrown into this box."

"Then… we will draw them at random?" Chris started to understand.

"Bingo! Whatever you draw, that's how you'll fight." Kazama replied. "We keep on going till someone racks up five wins."

"What kind of events are there?" Chris asks.

"There's one for strength, intelligence, creativity and so on. So there's some where you're good at it, and some you're not." Kazama explained. "So all in all, you've got to be well-rounded to win! This is usually a group event, with one side picking a champion. But here, you two will be squaring off against each other."

Chris asked what the possibility of getting five events that were disadvantageous to you were drawn, Momoyo shot that down by saying that there were an even number of match types in the box and the chances of that were slim to none.

Capt even told a story of how after he'd won five free popsicles he ate them all so quickly he felt sick to his stomach and nearly at certain points vomited while on the bus ride back home.

And with that both Yamato and Chris agreed they were ready to square off, but first they'd play rock-paper-scissors to see who would get the first draw.

After the last few rules were explained Chris got ready, "Understood. Let us begin, Yamato. Rock-paper-sci…"

"Chris, I'll be throwing scissors." Yamato abruptly informed her.

Chris seemed to take the bait as she thought to herself, but it was quite obvious to anyone he was luring her into a trap, "Geez, I remember back then when a few people did that when we played the game as kids. You got to be some kind of stupid to…"

"Rock-paper-scissors, shoot!" Both of them said as they showed their hands.

Chris – Scissors

Yamato – Rock

Yamato WINS!

Chris was in shock, "WHAT!?"

Yamato sighed easily, "Geez, that was too easy. You really are predictable."

"Mngh! Mnnnnnnngh!" Chris's irritation shot through the roof her face got more and more red, "I cannot stand this! I cannot stand you, Yamato!"

"I would say because Chris is a bit predictable that this could be Yamato's to win, but…" I said.

Moro remembered the cold Yamato had, and how it'd get in the way of his possibility of winning.

Meanwhile, Yukie was pacing back and forth unsure of what to do. She wanted to tell the others of Yamato's condition, but at the same time she wanted to trust in Yamato's word.

I caught her pacing and grabbed her shoulders, "Mayucchi, stop you're gonna run yourself ragged before Yamato does. Let's just watch for now and I promise if he gets worse we'll say something, okay?"

That seemed to calm her nerves, "O-okay… I'll trust you for now."

"Okay, lil' bro! Draw to decide the first match!" Momoyo said.

Yamato stuck his hand inside the box, but a certain purple haired girl used the moment to enjoy herself.

"Ahn! ~ Y-You put it in there?! ~" Miyako moaned.

"How lucky am I today?" Yamato dug around inside the box.

Miyako began fidgeting around, "Y-You're stirring inside!? ~"

"Someone stop her from fantasizing." Yamato asked.

Momoyo grabbed her shoulders, much to Miyako's dislike, "Miyako, stop!"

"Tch…" She clicked her tongue.

Momoyo then playfully took her aside, "Huh? Did you just click your tongue at me? You think you can take an attitude with me? Well!?"

"Now, now. Okay… I'll choose this red paper!" Yamato made his choice.

"Let's see… Wow. Bro, you've got some amazing luck." Momoyo seemed completely neutral.

"What is it? Give me a quiz, or something intellectual!" Yamato hoped.

"Tadaa! Chain Deathmatch!" Momoyo announced.

"Haha, just kill me now!" Yamato said clearly upset.

I fell backwards as I laughed out loud, I knew this was supposed to happen but seeing it all in person was hilarious all the same, "Ahahahaha! What luck right?! Hahaha!"

I got up as I tried to contain my laughter by covering my mouth, "No, me… shut up… i-it's not… funny… Hahahaha!"

I couldn't help it, what can I say?!

It seems my laughter was infectious as everyone else began to chuckle as well, except for the Tactician himself.

"Of all things…Ahahaha… a fight? What now?" Moro said trying to contain himself.

"What kind of… Hahaha… luck were you going on about?" Gakuto joined in.

Chris obviously laughed at the event as it seemed fate gave Yamato his comeuppance, "Heheheh. This is fun, wouldn't you agree, Yamato? Haha."

"You lose if you're pushed out or give up." Momoyo then drew a circle in the ground about the size of a sumo ring.

"It's a normal chain deathmatch, no special rules?" Yamato inquired.

"Holds are legal. Isn't that great? It's a legit excuse to feel her up. I know Nagamasa did to Miyako the other day." Momoyo said with a smirk.

"That is a fucking lie, and you know it!" I immediately stopped laughing and yelled at her.

"What? Nagamasa-san, how could you? And you as well Yamato, how shameful!" Chris looked at us both with disapproving looks.

"I didn't say anything… Ugh…" That joke just probably made his head cold worse. Looking at Yamato he seemed to be getting a bit dizzy, the cold medicine might already be starting to wear off.

"Luck abandoned you as punishment for your underhanded tactics." Chris said.

"Here Yamato. I need your arm to chain you two up." Kazama said with both of them standing in front of each other as Kazama tied the chain around their joined wrists.

Chris seemed to relish the chance, "Let us see if you have any grit."

Momoyo held their hands as she announced, "Then let's start the first round. Get ready… Fight!"

"Heh… Chris even though this is a match…" Yamato began to speak.

"What?" Chris wondered what he was up to.

"I would never hit a girl." He stated.

"Then you ridicule me by refusing to see me as a warrior, Yamato." She chided him. "We battle with our prides on the line. There is no need to hold back . Fight me." Chris was all but ready.

"I know I'm begin a stubborn fool, but I'll say it again. I would never hit a girl." Yamato repeated. "So I'll have to beat you in the next round. I… give up."

Chris was shocked by Yamato's sudden choice.

"The curtain falls on the first battle. The winner is Chris!" Kazama announced.

"What?! This is not a true victory!" Chris was obviously upset.

"There's plenty of other ways to compete. I won't lose again." Yamato promised. "If you're not satisfied, then just wait and see what I bring to the next match."

"Ah…" Chris seemed to relent.

"Now let's turn it over to Miyako-san and Nagamasa-san, who are doing color commentary. Anything to say about the battle?" Moro turns to us expecting us to play along.

Okay, so were doing this thing? Alright…

"Well let's consider Yamato's plan in the first round… since he knew he couldn't win in a fight, he threw in the towel early which upset his opponent in which he easily weaseled out with a convincing explanation." Miyako said.

"Yeah, and with Chris's kind of attitude this may be the only plan that Yamato has. And given he has to get through five rounds not only has he got to be lucky but he's got to pick his fights very carefully" I joined in.

"That all makes sense. Yamato, you crafty devil." Moro said expectedly.

Chris was still upset she was given the first round, "Aargh! Let's move on. Next round!"

"Here Kuri. Draw away. And pick something fun." Momoyo showed the box to Chris who began to dig around inside.

"Hmm… I pick… this one!" Chris said pulling out a slip of paper.

"Oh, this will be fair match. 'Paint a picture.'" Was the match she drew.

"Painting… Well I'm an average artist at best." Yamato said.

"I also have only a little experience…" Chris replied.

"To keep it fair, your theme will be 'Mayucchi and Nagamasa.'" Capt said.

"What?!" Yukie and I both exclaimed in surprise.

"If it were anyone else, Yamato would have the advantage. So drawing the both of you will make it especially more fair." Momoyo explained.

"I-I suppose." Yukie seemed fine with this.

"Well, what would you like us to do?" I asked.

"How a double nude portrait?" Momoyo teased us.

"Are you out of your damn mind woman!?" I scream.

"Eh!? Y-y-you want us to pose in our birthday suit!? Th-This is so sudden…. My hearts beating so fast…" Yukie immediately went stiff and got nervous to say to the least.

"No, Yukie it's her being weird, let's just be normal about it." I tell her.

"Yeah he's right. She's just messing with you." Gakuto tells her.

With all the paint brushes and paint needed, Yamato and Chris looked ready to paint the both of us.

"How should we pose?" Yukie asked.

"Hmm… since it's both of you, maybe you should sit side by side? Chris recommended.

"Yeah, I think that's best." Yamato agreed.

"Then let's just sit here on the riverbank, Mayucchi." I sit down patting by my side.

"Y-Yeah." Mayucchi does so as she scoots closer to my side, even though she's much, much more conscious of herself; I have to admit being this close to Mayucchi she has her own sweet scent to her and with just a light polish of makeup I do have to confess in this setting she looks beautiful.

"S-sorry, Nagamasa-san if you feel nervous or anything…" Yukie said with a slight blush.

"N-No, it's no problem at all…" I say scratching my cheek sheepishly.

Eventually as both Yamato and Chris began concentrating on their paintings, even Capt joined in for the fun of it.

And so for the past hour as we sat there, both me and Mayucchi just enjoyed the natural scene in front of us as the river flowed and the sun reached a height that had the river glistening.

As we sat there, I felt as though me and Mayucchi became normal to each other's presences, as we did our hands slowly, but surely came closer together eventually we felt our own fingertips touch at one point, but we didn't move.

"Nagamasa-san… I have to say something, during the Friday gathering I was so scared when that all happened, I didn't know what to do but when I saw you stand up and speak your own mind I have to confess that I was amazed by you in that moment. I wanted to be like you." Mayucchi told me.

"Mayucchi…" I said softly.

"I've always been the quiet type and even with all of you, I'm still not very outgoing, so I wanted to ask you… would you teach me how to be more outgoing?" She looked at me pleadingly.

"W-well, some things like that aren't so easily learned… but as your friend, I'll help you in any way that I can. Got it?" I replied.

"Ah, thank you. Truly, Nagamasa-san…" I then felt Mayucchi place her head against my shoulder.

I had to admit ever since our first encounter during the party, me and Mayucchi were the most comfortable with each other if you didn't count Momoyo's morning time antics. To be honest, it was a shock to me. Retuning the favor, I put my arm over her shoulder.

"Yeah…" We said nothing else as time passed on. But a certain black-haired beauty was smiling at the scene.

"Hmm… another one to the list, eh? Seems I have a rival for Mayu-mayu's affections ~" Momoyo playfully said to herself.

And so the hour finally went by…

"Sweet. Now let's see 'em. You first Chris." Capt asked her to reveal her painting first.

"This is somewhat embarrassing, but… behold." Chris revealed her portrait, and despite her confession of lacking experience it was still beautifully done. The painting as a whole was both Mayucchi and I on the water's edge staring out with her hair flowing in the wind and me by her side.

"Wow, I can't believe it. It's very beautiful. And Nagamasa-san, you look very handsome and dashing, like a knight." Mayucchi described the painting.

"Yeah, I agree too. It's simple, but that simplicity makes it even more of a standout in my eyes." I add-on.

"You're both overexaggerating. It's a little embarrassing…" Chris blushed at our praise of her painting. "But I do feel as if I put my heart into it."

"Here's my painting." Yamato now revealed his, and it was very much different from Chris's portrait of just us two.

This time his portrait had nor just me and Mayucchi together in the center of it, but the two of us smiling in joy, surrounded by everyone else together. Mayucchi and I in particular were seated in front of everyone at the river's edge, the two of us extremely close together… almost like a couple.

Mayucchi's look said it all, "Ahhhh…I look so happy in your painting. Me and… Nagamasa-san."

"Yeah, it's truly beautiful…" I replied.

"Chris-san, while I do think your painting is wonderful, when I look at Yamato-san's, I can feel tears welling up in my eyes." In fact, I could see tears forming in her eyes, but she held them back probably for Chris's sake, but as she said so I could feel her come closer to my chest.

Friendship with Yukie – [80% out of 100]

Come on… really? At a time like this?

Having her so close, I couldn't help but smile and hold her gently.

"I have to agree Chris, while it is beautiful and emotive; I think Yamato's captures a much grander spirit then just one with the two of us." I added-on.

"You're both the judges. It's your decisions to make." Chris seemed to know she lost but wanted to hear out choice regardless.

"And Yamato wins the paint-off!" Capt announces.

With him on the board it was tied at 1-1 now.

Chris seemed a bit downtrodden. "We're tied now…"

Mayucchi was still looking at the painting and couldn't help but admire it, but during that time she still hadn't let go of my clothes, and seemed strangely attached to me.

"M-Mayucchi, I think it's time to… you know?" I tried to get her attention. She then seemed to notice our current position and immediately pulled back.

"E-eh? S-s-s-s-sorry about that! I didn't mean to make you feel uncomfortable!" She apologized profusely.

"N-No, it's just fine…" I reassured her, but safe to say things were a bit nervous-like around us.

And so Yamato's turn to draw for round three.

Momoyo couldn't help but comment, "My hut says you're going to pick something strange. After all, you're the funny one. But Naga's been doing a bit good in that category lately."

"I think you're confusing us with Gakuto." Yamato replied.

"Are you sure…? Hm. Another fair match." Momoyo read the event to herself. "It's a test of courage! I came up with this one." Momoyo said.

Oh shit… wait is this the one where…?

Yamato's condition was now becoming a bit more obvious as his face became redder, and his body was now seeming to shake slightly.

Yukie whispered to me, "Yamato-san, doesn't look so good…" But then she spoke up, "U-Um…"

"You need something? Nature calls?" Momoyo asked her.

"N-No, it's nothing…" Yukie once again lost her nerve.

And so Momoyo explained the event, that her test of courage was just a game of "Chicken" in which two people would put a piece of Pocky between their mouths and whoever held out the longest was the winner.

"Well that's quite the choice for an event… but it's you so I would expect it so really no surprise." I reply.

"But that's just an icebreaker at a mixer!" Moro pointed out.

To be honest, given how prudish Chris was and the fact she didn't really seem comfortable around the other guys including me I would imagine.

And so Yamato thinking he could get a cheap win called Kazuko, "Hey Wanko! Stop doing squats and come hither!"

"What's a hither?" Kazuko asked, all I could do was face palm.

"Just get over here." He said.

" Okay. What's up Yamato?" Kazuko asked.

"I want you to eat this slow and steady from one side to the other." He said as he placed the Pocky in his mouth.

Wanko didn't even blink. "Wow. Yummy!"

She began nibbling on the chocolate treat slowly drawing closer and closer towards Yamato's face, but just as she did she put her hands on his shoulder and took the rest of the treat it was at that time Yamato pulled back.

"That's how you do it." Yamato shows Chris.

Wanko still expecting more, "That was delicious. What's next, Yamato?"

He waves her off, "That's it you can go back to your squats."

But Momoyo rains on his parade, "Not bad, but that doesn't count."

"Why not!?" Yamato says incredulously.

Momoyo squeezes his head her grip pushing down on his skull, "Who said you get to choose your partner!?"

Momoyo was the one who got to choose the pairs for the sake of fairness but the smile on her face told Yamato all her needed to know, "Not her… Anyone but her!"

"But it wouldn't be fun any other way! Miyako, you're up!" And so said girl appeared and began fidgeting in a suggestive way.

"Even though this is a game… if our lips touch…" It was quite obvious what Miyako's thoughts were stuck on. "He'll have to take responsibility by marrying me…"

And so despite the circumstances, Yamato still knew he couldn't back down and so prepared himself for the challenge, he put the Pocky in his mouth but as soon as he did Miyako spring into action, quickly swallowing it whole quickly advancing on Yamato.

Barely getting out of the way, Yamato was able to avoid them coming closer together.

"Whoa, that was close! And you weren't supposed to wolf it down!" Yamato yelled at Miyako.

Miyako was clearly unhappy, "I was so close…"

"Well you lasted… for something I guess." I said.

"Yeah… I'd say that was exactly one second, lil' bro." Momoyo agreed.

Chris seemed pretty relaxed, "Heheh. I only have to last more then one second? Child's play."

"She would've kissed if I hadn't dodged. How is that fair?" Yamato protested.

"It's perfectly fair lil' bro. Besides Kuri is going to be partnered with… *beep*." Momoyo made a beeping like sound as if she were blocking a curse word.

"Geez, just say it already not like anyone with a lack of common sense doesn't know who you're talking about." I say.

"Then it's my turn now. Heh. All I need to do is last a minute is it." Chris seemed more then ready. She looked around for a partner seemingly forgetting Momoyo's rule she'd just explained.

"So who is my partner?" Chris asked.

"You're partnered with Mr. Nice Guy, Gakuto!" Momoyo said, and said guy appeared completely shirtless.

"Where is your shirt!?" Chris said incredulously.

"This is proof of my masculine seriousness. Can't you feel it?" Gakuto asked. "I can even feel my nipples tingling."

"All I can see is a nice big target for the German military to turn into Swiss cheese… Ahahaha!" I find myself losing it again as I laugh.

Chris was now both mad and embarrassed as if her red crimson face wasn;t proof enough, "Mnnngh…"

"I've heard of this game, but I've never has the chance to play it." Gakuto said.

"And you will never know the joys of it…" I say.

"Shut up! Who asked for the peanut gallery, huh!?" He turns his ire towards me.

Chris tried to keep her composure, "W-Well, I could say the same…"

"I'm happy I get to play this game with you. Now, put it in your mouth." God dude, can you NOT sound like a pervert for more than five seconds?!

"U-Uuuhh…" Chris began groaning in discomfort.

"Don't you just love the creepiness? That's what makes this game great." Momoyo's slightly sadistic nature comes out.

Gakuto even asked Moro to prepare his phone to snap a photo. Yeah right, like it'll even get that close.

"C'mon. Let's get started Chris." What broke the camel's back was Gakuto now heavy panting, his intentions obvious now.

"I-I cannot do this! The very thought is far too disgusting!" Chris panicked as she screamed. She blasted him with a palm-heel punch strong enough to knock him down.

"Nice critical hit!" Momoyo cheered. "But that also puts your record at zero seconds."

"I feel for you Chris." Yamato said. "This is my round."

"Kh…" Chris clicked her tongue now. "We're not done yet. I have plenty of chances to even up the score with you."

By this point, the medicine began to wear off on Yamato wasting so much time outside as well as the slight physical exercise wasn't helping.

Th next round was drawn by Chris and it was a choice between karuta or cee-lo.

"Cee-lo?" Chris inquired.

Kazama tried to explain, "It's an adventurous gambling game. First, you take three dice…"

But upon hearing the word "Gambling" Chris had name her choice, "I will pass on gambling. Who knows what Yamato would get up to. We will compete in the karuta game instead."

"Good. Nevertheless your lucks run out." Yamato thought feeling lucky. "I know some of the poems. I have a good shot."

"Doesn't Yamato know all 100 poems?" Moro whispers to us.

"This kind of game is his specialty." Miyako replies.

"But he us facing someone who loves Japanese history and culture, he should know better than to underestimate anyone" I added my own two cents.

Capt then laid out a sheet, and then set all one hundred cards on it.

Chris knew the rules of the game despite only saying he'd had little experience with the game.

And so both of them took their times studying each of the cards, but Yamato's condition was obviously becoming worse, he seemed to be getting dizzier and dizzier as we saw him shaking his head.

And so with both of them ready, Momoyo was ready to start with a little introductory, "Girls in miniskirts. Shamelessly I stare and wait for a gust of wind, by Kawakami Momoyo."

"And that kids is why we stay far, far away from strange people… Guh." Momoyo annoyed put me in a headlock.

"No commentary needed from the peanut gallery." She said.

"You ain't gonna be the next Robert Frost I know that much." I said, but above all we were still just in our usual routine.

But even so Chris was still studying the cards, while Yamato seemed to confident in his abilities.

"Then it's serious time you two. The real game starts now!" Momoyo was ready to give the poem. "S…"

And almost immediately from looking at Chris something seemed to click as Momoyo continued, "Su…"

But she didn't get to the next syllable when Chris grabbed a card so fast not even Yamato expected it.

"That's fast!" Yamato said shocked.

"Sumi no e no kishi ni yoru nami…" Momoyo finished the poem.

"See, I told you guys." I told Moro and Miyako. "And to think she already had an idea from just the first letter, not even the first syllable."

"I already told you; I adore Japanese culture." Chris told Yamato.

"I see… I'm a little shocked." Yamato confessed.

But above all, it's becoming quote noticeable that his fever is coming back his face is red, and his dizziness is starting to become a bit more obvious.

"Huff… huff… you're good." Yamato said with a red face.

"Heheh. Your face is red. Are you that enraged?" Chris seemed to taunt Yamato defiantly, her hunger to win very noticeable in her eyes.

And so with it being 2-2 the last even would be what changed everything.

Miyako finally noticed Yamato's true condition, "Yamato, do you have a fever?"

"Here, let me check your forehead." But Yamato turned away Momoyo's hand.

"I'm fine really... *Cough*." But that violent cough is what triggered Mayucchi who couldn't stand back anymore and not say anything.

"I-I can't stand by like this Matsukaze, Nagamasa; I'm going to stop him." Mayucchi gathered up the courage to speak.

"Go ahead, I've got your back." I told her.

"Go, Mayucchi! You've got this! Live your life like a bike and put the pedal to the metal! Climb that mountain – but don't stop or else you'll fall off!" Matsukaze encouraged her.

Kazuko was shocked when she saw Yukie fast approaching, "M-Mayucchi, what're you doing?!"

Mayucchi finally spoke up, "U-Um, Yamato didn't get a fever just now… He's had an awfully high fever since the start!"

"Hey, Mayucchi!" Yamato tried to stop her.

"Shut up." I told him which seemed to stop him.

"He took medicine so that he could keep his fever low enough so that he could fight!" Yukie continued.

"Shut up…" Yamato told her.

"I think I was the one who told you to shut his mouth. Is your damn pride so important that you'd put your damn body on the line?!" My yelling seemed to shock Yamato who backed up when he saw my angered face.

"What if you hadn't had a cold but you were shot or stabbed instead, what we're supposed to just 'go along' with it just to sate your damn pride while you bleed out internally?! Is a stupid thing so important to you AND Chris just so you two can prove some hackneyed superiority to each other!?" Both of them seemed to go quiet at my rant.

"And the rest of you, don't just stand there like headless chickens! Say something! I refuse to believe you lot couldn't see this man wasn't struggling. If you refused to say anything simply so he could participate you're just as damn guilty." The others seemed to be shaken.

"Nagamasa-san's right, I didn't want things to get like this! I just wanted to have you two get along…" Yukie started to actually sniffle as I hugged her keeping her from going to the floor.

"W-Wow…" Yamato said surprised.

"Mayucchi… Nagamasa…" Chris said to herself in shock by the display at both of them.

Mayucchi regained herself, "I-I'm sorry… I know you don't want to hear that from someone as new as me. But I… I had to say something."

"Nah, you both did good." Momoyo replied.

"Yeah. We wouldn't want either of you holding back anything on us. But, I think it's been a while since we we're scolded like that right Momo-senpai?" Capt said.

"Yeah… it sounded like one of the old man's lectures. But in this case, I agree with it. Bro, is she telling the truth?" Momoyo asked Yamato.

Kazuko even joined in, "Sheesh. You'll go on and on about the stupidest things, but when you're in trouble, you keep it all to yourself."

Yamato however was still defiant, "But if I had said something, I'd have been doomed to defeat. Screw that. Like Mayucchi said, we should all be friends. But to do that, Chris and I need this fight!"

"Tch, still stubborn to the end… does what we say go in one ear and out the other with you?" I tell him.

"I do understand what you're saying Nagamasa-san, but I can't back down yet. My pride depends on it." Yamato said.

"Hah… fine if it's that important. But just know this, if I ever do beat you myself, you have no right to talk back about it, got it?" I tell him with a challenging smile.

"Haha, yeah…" And with that the two of us share a bro handshake.

And so with that instead of first to 5 wins, Chris and Yamato decided to end it all with a tiebreaker: A race down the mountain to the finish line. While this surely would only exacerbate Yamato's fever it was the only event that could definitively end their rivalry.

However for now everyone seemed happy at Mayucchi for speaking up today, "Way to go Mayucchi." Kazuko said.

"Eh?" Mayucchi seemed genuinely confused.

"If you have some to say don't hold it back. Scream it from the rooftops. Although you mister…" Momoyo put me in a headlock. "I haven't been lectured like that in a while, so it was a nice change of pace. Don't change either Nagamasa."

"You don't gotta hold back on us, just cause you're new or a year younger then us." Kazama said.

"Yes, exactly. All your timidity does is worry us." Miyako said with a smile, "But I think you struck the perfect balance just now."

"Y-Yes… Nagamasa-san, do you think that…?" She turned to me now with her worried eyes.

"Yeah, I think they've accepted you, but for much longer than you think. It's fine now." I saw hugging her. Strangely enough, I find myself so easily able to talk to Mayucchi even though we've only known each other for a small time; the both of us have gotten closer more so than anything.

And I find it easier to embrace her and she easily returns the favor, but now what's this feeling I have welling up inside me?

Friendship with Yukie – [90% out of 100]

Eh? Eh? Eh?! W-what is with these increases!?

"Hehehe… look at these two over here guys… don't they look like an innocent couple? ~" Momoyo said in a teasing voice.

As the two of us look at each other, if one saw us with Yukie leaning on my chest and me hugging her one could in fact call us a couple or misconstrue it to think we are one.

"N-n-no, it's nothing like that!" I say in denial.

"Y-y-yes, we don't have anything like that!" Yukie denied as well.

Embarrassed both of us, merely let go but couldn't help but look back at each other as we smiled regardless.

"Geez, now you two really do look like lovebirds. Get a room…" Momoyo said.

Eventually they began setting up for the event. From the observation deck both Yamato and Chris would be in a sprint to get to the bottom of the mountain with a signed ball and cross the finish line.

Wanko would assist Yamato; while Miyako would help Chris. Moro and Mayucchi would man the checkpoints and give out the questions that both needed to answer.

Momoyo and Kazama would be at the finish line, while I would be watching from the sidelines making sure nothing suspicious would be going on.

"All right you two, ready?" I raise my hand as they nod, then… drop it. "Go!"

With that all of them take off in a sprint down the mountain, the girls by all appearances seem even while of course the sick Yamato lags behind but is doing his best to keep up.

"Good luck you guys." I say as I watch them head off into the distance.

"Heheh, he really does hate to lose doesn't he?" I heard Momoyo behind me.

"Momoyo, I thought you were with Capt at the bottom of the mountain?" I asked her.

"I wanted to see my lil' bro off. But also…" She then once more put me in a headlock.

"It's time for my revenge for you lecturing me…" She said.

"I thought you said that was a good moment?!" I protested.

"I did, but now that no one's here… I'm gonna tease you. So tell me… how long have you and Mayucchi been a thing?" She inquired which caused me to go wide-eyed.

"W-we aren't a thing thank you!" A yell at her.

"Oh, she seems rather attached to you. Really though she seems rather taken with you. It might not be Miyako-level but she really does seem to have taken a liking to you." Momoyo tells me.

"Really? You think so?" I honestly ask her.

"Yeah, she likes it when you're there. Heck, even the others have told me that Mayucchi will talk about you at breakfast sometimes." She tells me.

I blush thinking on it, "Really…?"

"Ara…? Are you blushing? So you do have a thing for her? ~" Momoyo teases me as she gives me a noogie.

"N-No… nothing like that. But…" I had no choice but to admit to myself that Mayucchi really was a beautiful girl; her figure, her slight daintiness and her attitude were things I loved about her. I mean by all accounts she really did look like the quintessential Japanese beauty.

But she had other things going for her…

Like that fine rump of hers…

No! No brain! Bad! Bad brain! Remove those putrid thoughts at once!

Oh please you know it's true. Seeing that butt turns you on and you know it for a fact.

Well I can confess that her rump probably compares to Momoyo…

Besides I saw what you were doing before when you hugged her.

What?

Your hand was lowering closer to her bottom, admit it you want her. Your conscious of her.

I don't deny that… but still…

Alright, alright… I've had my fill for today. But let's see how much more conscious of the girls you'll be in the coming days… Good luck…

Stupid brain… and groin…

"Go on ahead, Nagamasa. I think the others will be heading for Moro's checkpoint anyway since it's the shorter route." Momoyo said. "Go get her squirt."

"I already told you, we don't have anything like that!" I yell at her as I began my way down to the forest path checkpoint, there I saw Mayucchi patiently waiting but it was quite obvious due to how far this path was down the mountain that none of the others were coming this way.

"Ah, Nagamasa-san. What're you doing here?" Mayucchi greeted me.

"It looks like the others are making for Moro's checkpoint, so it seems like we won't be needed." At that Mayucchi seemed a bit sad.

"Hau… I thought this would be my chance to shine, but instead it has died out like a flashing star…" Mayucchi was clearly upset.

"Come on, Mayucchi. We can cheer for them when we reach the bottom of the mountain. Even if they leave and sprint I think we should be able to reach Momo-senpai and Capt before they get there." I tell her.

"I see. Let's go, Nagamasa-san." Mayucchi says as we head down the mountain trail, the same one that Chris, Wanko and I had raced on when we first arrived.

Eventually the two of us made it to the Kazama, Momoyo and Gakuto as we could now see Chris making her way from further up the riverbank, but in the process we say Wanko take a pretty bad fall.

We then could see Chris as she entered the final stretch, "Chris, this way! You win once you tag me!"

Chris confident in her victory was still at a comfortable jog not knowing that this was all part of Yamato's plan, "Heh, there's the goal. Dog is a long ways behind me. Sick though you might have been, you fought poorly, Naoe Yamato."

Then to her shock Capt called out, "Yamato this way! You win once you tag me!"

Chris turned to see Yamato soaked but still running full speed towards her, it was then it all clicked for her.

"Ah!? But why… I thought Dog had the ball…" Chris looked behind her, Wanko in fact had stopped running and was grinning ear to war.

"A fake out!? What have I done!?" Chris immediately pulled out into a sprint as quick as she could, with Yamato just barely ahead of her.

But Yamato's spirit to win won out as he dived for Capt, "I'm gonna win!"

"Bwuh!? Why're you jumping at me!?" Capt panicked, but Momoyo refused to let him move, "Fine then. Bring it on Yamato!"

Just as Chris caught up and what was essentially a near photo-finish; Yamato tackled Kazama despite being soaking wet.

"Yamato wins!" Momoyo and I announced.

"Kh… I lost?" Chris floundered in defeat to the trickster Yamato.

"Heh, yeah… *Sniffle*… Huff… you lose…" Yamato said his fever finally catching up with him.

However, Wanko's fall was a bit too realistic and she had actually scrapped her leg, "Wanko, hold still I can't do this if you keep moving." I then sprayed her wound with disinfectant spray.

"Oof! That disinfectant stings so much!" She whined.

"Quit whining like a baby…" I tell her.

Having lost, Chris reflected on her mistake of letting her guard down, she had underestimated her opponent and let herself be lulled into a false sense of security. And with that Chris accepted Yamato having seen him put his pride on the line and his guts.

But then shortly after that Yamato passed out and slumped to the ground his fever finally having caught up with him.

Eventually we took him back to the hotel as we let him rest, we eventually had lunch together while Yamato's head was resting in Miyako's lap.

"W-where am I…?" We could hear him waking up.

"Welcome back to the land of the living. Hope you don't plan on doing something stupid like that again." I greeted him.

"You were asleep for about two hours." Miyako told him.

"I can see… I still feel a bit faint…" We could hear him groan.

After playing with his medicine, Yamato got it from Miyako. During that Chris and I shared our phone numbers with everyone. Except Mayucchi. But Chris's playful refusal to give Gakuto his number did cause a chuckle for everyone, but eventually he got his wish.

When we got back we promised to get Mayucchi her own cell phone, and finally Matsukaze would be able to live the true life of a cell phone strap.

Everyone laughed as we continued eating, the atmosphere more or less comfortable and friendly as it should be.

"We'd better give them Wanko whistles later." Kazama said.

"You still look pale, Yamato." Chris pointed out.

"The medicine should kick in soon, I hope." He replied.

"Maybe it'd be better for you to at least relax in the hot spring one last time. Maybe it would help entirely but it should help your body to relax." I commented.

"Yeah, this is our last day here, we should all enjoy one last go before we leave." Chris said.

"Yes, that sounds enjoyable." Mayucchi agreed.

For the three of us, it truly felt like we fit into the Kazama family proper.

"Sweet. Now all that's left is to infuse you guys with the Soul of Kawakami." Kazama announced.

"Soul of Kawakami?" Chris asked.

"It's a poem that goes like this: 'I walk the endless winds before me, turning away from the glow of the city. There are no miracles, no paths to guide me, only the night. But my unwavering will shall provide as I journey on into the darkness.' That is the Soul of Kawakami." Momoyo recited.

"It's a poem about venturin' into the unknown." Gakuto said.

"It even moves a girl like me. Though, I wish it wasn't as long." Kazuko said.

"But we also say, 'Keep pushing forward' as the short way to say it." Kazama told us.

"Keep pushing forward…" Chris said to herself.

"To continue forth even in the face of adversity, then?" Mayucchi seemed to be moved by the poem as well.

"For a city with a school that prides itself in martial arts? It's quite fitting if you ask me." I reply.

"When things get tough say it. You've got friends along with you on the journey, that'll give you strength." Momoyo told us.

"Keep those words forever in your heart, and there's nothing really else to say." Kazama finished up.

"Hey, since Miyako and Yamato are here. Let's have a toast." Moro offered.

"Nice idea. Everyone grab a drink." And so everyone did as they grabbed their glass, bottle or can and raised it.

"Mayucchi, we're having a toast." Chris told Mayucchi who seemed to be stuck in a stupor for the moment.

"Oh, y-yes! I'm sorry I was so happy I stopped paying attention." Mayucchi said his trademark nervous smile still there.

"Here Mayucchi, here's some green tea. It's what you were having right?" I refilled her glass.

"Yes, thank you Nagamasa-san." Mayucchi thanked me.

"Everyone got the message. Capt!" Wanko told Kazama everyone was ready.

But after trying to go on a long spiel Kazama decided to keep it short and concise, "Let's have fun. That's all we need to do as friends… Cheers!"

"Cheers!" We all said in unison together as we brought our classes together a loud clinking reverberating throughout the room.

And so which birthed a new Kazama family… with one extra.

However before out last bath, we took the chance to go sightseeing traveling on the ferry across Lake Ashi, of course the ferry came to an abrupt stop when Chris tackled Kazama so hard he flew off the side of the ship overboard.

By 2 we'd arrived back at the hotel, we each agreed to only take a short soak so the other's could do so and we could all pack at a reasonable time and make it to the bus.

The guys and I were the last ones in, and we'd just finished our soak. Safe to say that Yamato was finally feeling better as well. As we left, I realized I'd forgotten something.

"Ah, damn it…" I said.

"What's wrong you forget something?" Yamato asked.

"Yeah, I think I left my boxers behind. You guys go on, I'll go and get them and catch up." Turning around, I went back to go retrieve them.

And I swear… to this day… this event has forever been emblazoned into my mind. I can never recover from it…

Opening the flap, I see a sight I could never forget as I heard an all-too familiar voice, "Hah… Hah… Hah… Aaah, Yamato…! ~"

It was Miyako, holding a pair of boxers and sniffing them… but they weren't Yamato's boxers… they were mine…

"Uh… Miyako…?" I said which got her attention. She froze in horror as she turned to face me. "Those are… my boxers…"

"Wait, but I thought… these were…" Miyako said her voice and face still in shock.

Then as if the gods were rubbing salt in the wounds, my towel fell, "Aah…" And Miyako's eyes trailed down her eyes set upon Nagamasa Jr. who was now standing tall and proud despite my want for it to NOT do so!

"Aah… aaah…" Miyako's breathing was getting labored, "I'm sorry!" Miyako ran out as she tossed the boxers to me. I looked out the door trying to catch her as I yelled back.

"Wait Miyako, it was an accident!" But I lost her.

"Haah… damn it all…" I wrapped my towel back up, but as I returned to the room the guys could see my pale expression and began worrying.

"Geh, you okay Nagamasa? You don't have a fever now too do you?" Moro asked.

"What's wrong? You look like a ghost scared your soul of you." Gakuto said.

"Dude, are you okay?" Yamato asked with genuine concern.

"B-boxers… she… saw… Aaaah…" I fell back on a pillow out cold as the others tried to wake me up which they eventually did.

By four I'd recovered somewhat and we were now waiting on the bus, I hadn't seen Miyako yet but that was all for the best in my eyes.

But Miyako's silence was concerning for the girls, "Miyako, are you okay?" Kazuko asked.

"…" Miyako said nothing as if unable to speak.

But as we were waiting there an old fortune teller called out to me and Kazama, "Yes… you two young men over there… the ones with such shining light."

But we didn't want to pay for his fortune telling but he insisted that he'd do it for free with that we told the fortune teller out names, but just as he finished his reading the bus finally arrived.

"A pity. I nearly had the results." The old man lamented. "The cards can reveal different images depending on the person. No two tarot readings are alike even if different people get the same card, just as if two semblances cannot be the same."

He flipped a card, "Ohh. Each one of you has a brilliant future in store for you." With that we tall thanked him as we boarded the bus, Yamato and I were the last ones on…

The fortune teller flipped the last card, "Haaah… Ten minus one, but it would seem in your case that it represents a fortune that you have gained. But the World itself still has challenges that you will face… One of you shall be drawn away… But even so all is not lost."

"Oi, Nagamasa get on already!" Momoyo yelled at me as I hung from the door listening to the man.

"I'm sorry! I have to go sorry!" I entered the bus and took my seat. But the man tried to raise his voice to reach me.

"Wait! You must listen, one amongst you will be…" But over the bus's engine I couldn't hear him.

When he referenced "Ten" I couldn't help but wonder if that meant something about me? I know I'm not supposed to be here, and by all means there's only supposed to be nine of them. But what did he mean by a 'fortune I've gained?'

The man continued to speak at the passing bus, "Those person close to you boy… you cannot abandon them for they have already tied their fate to yours!"

I tried my best to respond, "Who?! Who is it…!?"

But soon enough I couldn't see the man and I got back in my seat. What did he mean by all that?

On the bus ride over most of us were seated in the same area so we could all chat and hear each other.

But to my ever eternal luck, I got paired next to Miyako of all people immediately the both of us are quiet and uncomfortable next to each other.

But eventually I find my courage and speak up, "M-Miyako, I just wanted to say I'm sorry for what happened back at the hotel…"

"…" Miyako doesn't say anything.

"Really, I'll do anything to make it up to you, I really mean it…"

"Kuh kuh…"

"Eh?"

"You mean it? ~" Wait that tone of voice… Oh no…

Miyako finally looks up at me her cheeks red just as if she were seeing Yamato, "Then… can you let me see your Johnny? ~"

"Eh? Miyako, what's gotten into you?" I ask her freaked out by her new obsession for me.

"I've simply… seen the light! ~" Miyako now tries to throw herself onto me.

Everyone looks at us and is in shock.

"What the hell!?" Gakuto exclaims.

"Miyako is…" Kazuko starts.

"Likes another guy besides Yamato!?" Moro finishes.

"When did that happen?" Momoyo wonders.

"Wait, when Nagamasa had to go get his boxers back, Miyako must've mistaken his for mine. Nagamasa, did she see anything else?" Yamato asked.

"Ummm… define 'anything else' please?" I said knowing what the result was.

"She saw it!" Momoyo cheered.

"Miyako saw another boy besides Yamato!" Kazuko said star struck.

"That means she's awoken to another guy besides Yamato, Nagamasa's in trouble…" Moro seemed worried.

"I can only pray for you now Nagamasa." Yamato said but those who noticed saw he had a smile on his face.

"Bastard, you're just happy she's obsessing over someone else who's not you!" I yell at him.

Eventually I survive the ride back to Kawakami as the sisters and I head back to the Temple and finally freed from Miyako's clutches.

We made it back as Tesshin and Lu-sensei greet us, the girls and I head back to our rooms. I hand off the souvenir I bought for Toshimaru who was still awake for her night training.

"So what'd you bring me?" She asked me.

"Here, it's some of Hakone's black egg delicacies, they say if you eat them they expand your life expectancy by nearly seven years. But do it at your own risk I suppose." I tell her.

"Thanks Nagamasa. Hope you had a good trip, good night." With that Toshimaru left.

Unpacking all my clothes and other items I eventually spread out on the futon and lay back thinking about everything.

I found myself randomly in the world of Majikoi one day…

Find out I'm a student at said namesake academy…

Become a student at Kawakami Temple and become affiliated with the Kazama family…

And now I'm truly an official member of said family…

Discounting the newfound obsession of Miyako onto me, everything overall was pretty good.

But now I have to think, it's the middle of summer now… As I lay there I finally begin to think to myself seriously…

What kind of goal do I have for myself?

And thinking back on what Momoyo told me once, that I've had my name being spread around mostly from the girls in our school I can't help but right now be conscious of the girls in the Kazama family now.

Momoyo Kawakami… the goddess of war herself, and a girl whom I still can't peg down as to why she's so interested in me.

Christiane Friedrich… an honorable and funny girl, yet stubborn.

Yukie Mayuzumi… the timid yet kind girl samurai.

Kazuko Kawakami… the super peppy training partner and mascot.

Miyako Shinna… who know has an infatuation for me.

All of them dear friends I'd come to know in such a short time, but all brimming with their own individuality.

To be honest it scared me, the very idea of wooing one of these girls is daunting. But as I think on it…

I'm conscious now of nearly all of them in some way, more some then others. It would take a lot of effort, nearly a herculean one…

There was one of course in this group who was an exception… a certain archer came to mind…

That and a few other girls I've met cross my mind; such as Chika, Class Rep Mayo, and a certain teacher of ours… Ms. Kojima.

Even though she felt out of reach, I knew for her deep down…

Well for now… things can go a simple pace it's not any rush when we're still just having fun now. As things stood we'd be friends for years to come, I could actually imagine living my life here…

Is it truly possible for romance to blossom for me? Whatever happens next is sure to be something…

But for now even so… I'll stake my warriors pride, and fight for what's right in the end. No matter what comes, I'll face it head on!

AN#1 – Well here's the final part of my prologue to my Majikoi story, I'm NOT a Samurai, Seriously! Today was the last day of the group's trip and Hakone and BOY… did it end of with a few twists didn't it!?

Nagamasa and Miyako's incident has now awakened Miyako to other boys. I took a bit of inspiration to how Kazama awakened to girls through Momoyo, so that's how I got to that conclusion.

Nagamasa and Mayucchi seemed to be very familiar with each other; who knows why though? Perhaps it's just excellent chemistry.

Nagamasa and the Kawakami sisters are still the same, but even he knows there's… something there.

Nagamasa and Christiane are friends now, but can that go beyond simple friendship?

There are plenty of other options in front of Nagamasa as well, so let's see what fate has in store for him on his journey at Kawakami Academy in the world of Majikoi, Love Me Seriously!

What's up next for our hero, Nagamasa? Stay tuned for the next chapter in Nagamasa's first route!

Hope to see you soon!

Also, guys tell me what you think of the WHOLE chapter, I want to hear about everything you guys think about it. Not just the few bits at the end or the beginning. I want to make this series better for you guys, but I can only do that if you tell me EVERYTHING you think about this chapter and ones going forward.

But A PSA here…

PSA: I've been deliberating the idea and I have decided that for the sake of the story and it's flow; I will NOT be having Yamato and Nagamasa pursue love interests at the same time given that the routes of the girls are drastically different and deal with different scenarios it'd be quite challenging going ahead to try and match all of that up.

And given how in-game some girls aren't even available around the same days makes it even harder to organize something like that.

But I still hope to entertain you guys and hope that you'll enjoy the development of Nagamasa and the girls going forward!

I hope to make things a bit different with inspiration from other routes in the series, plus a few of my own tweaks here and there. But still..

I hope you enjoy! See ya!

Also as to Friendship stats…

Why Miyako is finished and the others girls is mostly due to their respective stories requiring a bit of extra development as I found that immediately finishing it here and now I think would cheapen the experience.

At it's core this is still a semi-gamer story so I still want to include it. Just wanted to clarify that.

AN#2 – I hope you guys are enjoying this rewrite. So please don't forget to leave reviews and also follow and favorite as well too!

AN#3 – Remember I wouldn't be here without you guys! Remember to Favorite, Follow and Review! :)
