*Three year later*

Over the course of the past three years, Naruto, Mika, and Hinata had undergone rigorous training and honed their skills to reach the esteemed Genin level. Naruto and Hinata had displayed remarkable proficiency in tree walking, while Mika was on the verge of mastering water walking—a testament to her unwavering dedication. Among them, Naruto stood out as the undisputed champion of taijutsu and unmatched in terms of stamina. Hinata had become the epitome of precision in kunai throwing, her aim near perfect. Mika, however, held a distinct advantage in chakra control, a talent that set her apart from her peers. In just a week's time, they would embark on a new chapter in their lives as they were set to join the academy.

In the revered Hokage's office, tension hung thick in the air, as two prominent figures engaged in a heated exchange.

"DANZO, IT'S INHUMANE TO WIPE OUT AN ENTIRE CLAN! I WILL NOT ALLOW IT!" The Third Hokage, Hiruzen Sarutobi, proclaimed vehemently, his eyes burning with conviction.

"Hiruzen, you old fool, do you not see the trouble they oppose?" Danzo, the shadowy figure, retorted with a tone of pragmatism.

"I do, but this is not the way we handle it!" Hiruzen's voice resonated with the weight of years of wisdom and compassion.

With a resigned huff, Danzo reluctantly conceded, "Mphh, fine," as he turned to exit the office. However, the Hokage sensed that this would not deter him. His daughter and grandson were in grave danger, and he knew that Danzo's ruthless pursuit of power would not be easily halted.

"Weasel," the Hokage called, and a loyal Anbu operative materialized, kneeling to make his presence known. "I need you to protect your brother and my daughter. I fear what Danzo might do."

With unwavering dedication, the Anbu operative responded, "Yes, Hokage."

Later that fateful night, within the clandestine depths of shadows and intrigue, a clandestine meeting took place.

"Uchiha-sama, can you wipe them out tonight?" The masked man inquired, his voice shrouded in secrecy.

"Yeah, I can, but what's in it for me?" His tone was calculated, his intentions masked.

"You'll have me, someone so close to the Hokage that I can do anything for you," Danzo offered, desperation driving his negotiations.

"You have a deal, Danzo, but I must keep the head's son alive, a sentiment to my master and his pure-blooded legacy," the masked man stipulated.

"That works fine with me. As long as Itachi's alive, the plan will work perfectly," Danzo consented, sealing their dark pact.

Back in the Hokage's office, a sense of foreboding filled the room as Danzo returned.

"Come in," the Hokage beckoned, but before he could utter another word, a shockwave coursed through the room. The Hokage's eyes widened as he beheld the Mangekyou Sharingan, a formidable power in Danzo's eye. His will was swiftly ensnared by the insidious Kotoamatsukami.

"In a few hours, the Uchiha compound will be massacred by Itachi Uchiha, a maniac who's jealous of your daughter and her husband's relationship," Danzo intoned, his voice devoid of emotion. The Hokage, now under the genjutsu, watched helplessly as Itachi was branded a fugitive.

Hours later, the Uchiha compound stood bathed in blood—a grim testament to the horrors of that night. Two thousand lives were snuffed out, leaving an indelible mark on history. Obito, the puppeteer of this massacre, had one final task—obliterate the head house. Although it wasn't strictly necessary, the death of the Hokage's daughter would add an extra layer of malevolence to the horrifying event.

Obito phased through the walls, emerging right where Aiko's chakra signature emanated. A kunai hovered perilously close to her throat, and a sinister grin played upon Obito's lips.

"Eh eh eh," he taunted, addressing the terrified onlookers. "You move, I kill her."

"Mom, no!" Sasuke cried out, his voice tinged with despair.

"Fugaku, now, give up your life, and I'll spare hers," Obito demanded, his tone ice-cold.

"Fugaku, don't," Aiko pleaded, her voice trembling.

"Shut up, bitch!" Fugaku snapped, his frustration boiling over as he advanced slowly towards Obito. In the shadows, Itachi activated his Mangekyou Sharingan, ready for the grim confrontation. In that harrowing moment, Obito threw a kunai at Itachi's eye with his free hand.

"Good job, everyone," Obito chuckled wickedly, and in an instant, the room was engulfed in a blinding flash of crimson. The horrifying scene that unfolded left Sasuke in tears, his anguish matching the magnitude of the tragedy.

"You said you would spare her!" Sasuke's voice quivered with fury as his eye transformed into a fully developed Mangekyou Sharingan, its crimson design a testament to his anguish.

"Hahahahaha, I'm sparing you two, isn't that enough? I wouldn't want to kill the great Madara Uchiha's grandsons. But the daughter of the Hokage—now, that would be impactful," Obito taunted cruelly, reveling in their torment. Itachi's eyes widened, realization dawning upon him.

"Itachi, I expected a lot more from you, but either way, if you tried anything more than your Mangekyou, it would have ended the same," Obito continued, his words dripping with malevolence.

"Oh, gee, it's my time to go," Obito declared nonchalantly, vanishing without an ounce of remorse. Sasuke's eyes were awash with tears, a torrent of emotion befitting the harrowing events they had just witnessed.

"Sasuke, I'm sorry. I could not protect them," Itachi whispered, his voice laden with guilt, as he began to collect his father's eyes.

"It'll all make sense later. I have to go. I'm sorry," Itachi uttered cryptically before departing, leaving behind a world forever scarred by that night's horrors. In the shadows, Anbu operatives appeared, their intentions clear.

"Where did your brother go? We have orders to kill him on sight by the Hokage," one of them proclaimed, their mission grimly unfolding as the wheels of fate turned inexorably.
