Hey again. Here's the next chapter. I hope you all enjoy it. In this chapter, there is once again another song which I do not own. Credit again goes to Disney. I do not want to claim it. I just thought it would be entertaining for the story. A reviewer recommended it and I liked it so much that I thought I'd use it. Enjoy.

The Danger Comes

As a treat to make her feel better, Tsireya had taken Sylwa to some lovely rock pools to see the sea otters again. Sylwa's cheeks blushed as she watched Tsireya feed them. But when she saw a male otter with two children he looked so similar, she was brought to tears seeing them cuddle. She envisioned herself and her brother as those cubs whilst Jake was the father.

"Are you alright?" Tsireya asked, placing a hand on her shoulder.

She sniffled. "I'm fine,"

"Please talk to me,"

"Seeing that family," she pointed down to the father and the cubs. "Made me think of me, Lo'ak and…dad when we were younger. When we were kids, he told us that one day we'd make him proud and that everyone would realise just how special we are. But now I'm thinking all of that was just talk,"

"Don't say that," Tsireya shook her head. "I'm sorry about how things have been so difficult between you two and Lo'ak,"

"And the worst part is I've made things more difficult between you and your parents as well,"

"Don't you worry about me and them,"

The sadder Sylwa felt, the more compelled she felt to sing a song about discord and freedom.

He never hears me

Although he has earsHe refuses to understand.

He never sees me

He doesn't believe

He can't let me be who I amWhat am I to do?

Tsireya suddenly joined, having wanted to sing a song to her since the moment they became so close.

There's so much of me in you

He may tie the ropes

But he can't hold your hopes

That someday we'll break away

And we'll ride, you and me

To The Edge of the Edge of the Sea

She showed her the view in the distance. A gap in the reef borders that were temporarily unguarded. Both of them desired longing and freedom from their fathers and their expectations. Sylwa craved independence, and Tsireya wished for them.

To be free from his undertow

But how I don't know

Tsireya wasn't going to let her feel down ever again.

Sylwa, be quiet

Come on, let's try it

So many leagues to explore

I don't have a plan

You'll just have to trust my hand

She took her hand and as she continued singing, they jogged down to the beach seeing a pod of ilus.

They may be wise

But we still can surprise them

With the chance of freedom still open, the two realised how much they wanted to break free together. And how much they wanted to sing together too.

Someday we'll break away

And we'll ride, you and meTo The Edge of the Edge of the Sea

To be free from their undertows

I can't wait to know

Let's go!.

Together with cheerful smiles, they called their ilus, dived underwater together and escaped the island's seas as desperately as they could be away from rules and isolation. They just wanted to be together alone.

Aonung and the boys had observed Lo'ak teaching more about Taquamares to Atu and the kids. They had taken it upon themselves to keep watch so that no adults knew of what he was doing, lest he'd get into more trouble. Luckily thanks to his parents and the general leaving on urgent business after Lo'ak had received the tragic news from Aloa they went to investigate.

Aloa and her Tulkun led Tonowari, Ronal, Jake, Neytiri and Soxato out to sea. And there floating in the middle of the blue under was the corpse of….

Ronal gasped in horror. She swam off her Skimwing and pushed herself up onto the lifeless fin. She cried with grief and pain and sorrow.

"Her name…is Roa," said Tonowari despondently.

"She was my spirit sister," mourned Ronal. Neytiri looked at her with deep sympathy. For years she had missed her beloved Ikran Seze. Her new one could never replace her in her heart; she thought of her every day. "She was a composer of songs. We would sing together," she looked desperately for her calf but saw nothing. "Her baby….," she struggled to breathe. Was it dead? Or alive and alone? What is this Tonowari? WHAT IS THIS?!"

Tonowari struggled to hold himself.

"What are these?" Soxato pointed his spear towards three giant bags of orange that kept Roa's corpse floating above the water. Jake and Neytiri investigated further but to their shock, they saw a giant beeping device pinned into the thick hide of the dead Tulkun mother. And it could only mean one thing.

"And that was how Tsu'tey saved my life," said Lo'ak. "And when we were floating in the sea and he was close to sinking, the spirits I showed you all, helped him float and they carried us back to shore,"

"Cool!" breathed all the kids together.

"Now you guys should head back to your homes before your parents find out. Remember, the Underdog's first role: This group doesn't exist,"

The kids nodded but before they could jog off, Aonung and the other came rushing towards them. And by the look on his face, Lo'ak could see something was off. "What has happened?"

"Our parents have come back. They found the Tulkun that was killed," he was pale. "It was my mother's. Father's called a meeting,"

They began making their way back to the village. "Do you know where our sisters are?" the boy twin asked.

Aonung stopped. "I was hoping you knew,"

Sylwa and Tsireya were swimming together in the open sea, cheering for joy on their ilus, swimming with the fish and the algae. Sylwa hoped they'd encounter Payaka and Tsu'tey out here but they were nowhere to be found.

The council was gathered as the rain gently poured.

"My spirit sister has been murdered by the Sky people!" cried out Ronal, desperate for vengeance. "Her baby, probably lost to the sea as well!"

The Metkayina warriors roared with rage, desperate for vengeance.

"This war has come to us! We knew about this hunting of our Tulkun people!" announced Tonowari, a hunger for blood burning in his heart. "But was far away! It was over the horizon! And now it is here!". All the males snarled with their tongues.

Jake rose up to speak. "You gotta understand how the Sky People think! They don't care about the Great Balance! And this is only the beginning! You gotta tell your Tulkun to leave! You gotta tell them to go far away!"

"You live among us! And you learn nothing!" shouted Soxato. "We will fight to protect our brothers and sisters!" All the warriors roared savagely in agreement. A little apart from the crowd, Lo'ak and Atuiko tried to find Sylwa and Tsireya but they weren't anything. The former felt a black hole forming in the pit of his heart. He had a dark feeling in his bones which he couldn't ignore.

"You don't understand!" Jake continued to argue. "If you fight, then they will destroy you! They will destroy everything you love!" Still, the warriors refused to heed his words. Though he wished that the Sky People would pay for their crimes, he knew firsthand how they thought and reacted to anything act of aggression taken against them.

"You call yourself a great warrior and yet you insist we hide like cowards!" bellowed Soxato.

"Listen to him!" Neteyam screamed out, holding up the tracker beacon which Jake had pulled from Roa.

Jake held it up, silencing the crowd. "Tell your Tulkun that if they're marked by one of these, they're marked for death? Isn't that's what more important? Saving your family? That's all that matters!"

Tonowari and Ronal considered his words and decided for now warning was more important than seeking revenge. "Go," they commanded whilst the Metkayina left to prepare to send warnings to the Tulkun, Lo'ak and Atu snuck away from the crowd, not realising Neteyam was eying them carefully.

Aonung and Roxto peered around again for Tsireya but couldn't find her. "Hey!" they turned to see Kiri and Tuk rushing up to them. "Have you seen Sylwa? We haven't her since this morning,"

"No. We can't find Tsireya either,"

"Wait. Where are Lo'ak and Atu?" wondered Tuk.

Lo'ak and Atu rushed to the platform. "You really certain they're out there?" the kid asked.

"They have to be. When I have a feeling in my bones, it never steers me wrong," The former called out for Betze and he came flying towards him with Skeera.

"Why are we taking Betze?" asked Atuiko.

"It'll be safer if we fly. We can cover more distance quicker," Betze landed and Lo'ak adjusted his saddle. When Skeera landed, he stroked her. "Sylwa needs our help. You must come with us," he turned apologetically to Atu. "I'm sorry but you can't come with me this time,"

"I'm coming with you," the stubborn kid said.

"No Atu, not this time," he shook his head. "I don't want to get you into any more trouble than I already have,"

"Then I'll follow you behind on an ilu. Please Lo'ak. Underdogs stick together. Remember?"

Lo'ak remembered the vow they had made with Sylwa and finally understood the true meaning of their promise. He lifted Atu onto

"We have to warn Payaka about the pingers and find Tsu'tey before they get hurt," said Lo'ak. "And Sylwa and Tsireya are out there too,"

Neteyam wouldn't believe him for a second. "No, you've got to keep your skewing ass here,"

"Did you not hear what he just said?" Atu demanded. "They need our help!"

"They're outcasts. There's no one to warn them but us!"

"Bro…" Neteyam grabbed his head. "Why do you and Sylwa always have to make things so hard and bring everyone else into it?" he hissed.

"How dare you say that!" snapped Atu.

Lo'ak shoved his arm off. "You mean why can't she and I be perfect children like you? The perfect little soldiers?". Neteyam still wouldn't listen or heed his words. "Well, we're not you! Okay? We're not you!"

"Lo'ak and Sylwa can be whatever they want and you can't change that!" declared Atu, pointing a finger at Neteyam's chest forcing him back a bit. "At least they're mature enough to do what's right while you'd rather do everything everyone else says than make your own choices,"

"Stop telling me what I am!" Neteyam pushed his hand away. "Nothing you say about me is right!"

"At least he's right about one thing," Lo'ak defended. "You're the oldest in our family and yet you act like the youngest! Payaka and Tsu'tey are our family. And we're going to help them! So don't you try and stop us!"

"I'm your family!" Neteyam roared.

"Well you don't even act like it," Lo'ak didn't realise how much his words had hurt Neteyam inside. Before the shaken elder brother could do anything, he and Atu quickly mounted Betze and alongside Skeera, they rocketed into the sky, desperate to find the girls quickly and warn Payaka and Tsu'tey about the pingers before it was too late.

"Lo'ak!" cried out Neteyam. Aonung, Roxto, Kiri and Tuk arrived on the scene too late. "Come on! They're going to find the girls. He thinks they're out there!"

Quickly they called ilus and swam off, hoping to catch up to Lo'ak and Atu flying above them.

Sylwa and Tsireya were swimming across the sea, to head back to the island before they saw a Tulkun emerge from the waters.

"Payaka!" Sylwa swam towards her, greeting her with a hug. "Paya…I'm so happy to see you,"

I'm so happy to see you too.

"I'm so sorry girl, I tried to tell the chief you were innocent but I let you down,"

You could never let me know. She cooed. Sylwa, we are all in grave danger.

The delightful Tsireya suddenly noticed a calf emerging beside her. "How…." Looking closer she saw who it was. "It's my mother's spirit sister's calf,"

Sylwa gasped. "Paya what happened?"

That's what I'm trying to tell you. It's the Sky people. They attacked a pod of Tulkun. I tried to warn them but they didn't listen to me.

"At least you tried,"

They killed the mother of this calf but I managed to save him.

"Well done Paya," she praised her. She twisted her head to Tsireya, who was tearful from just learning that her mother's spirit sister had been killed. "She saved this calf,"

Before their conversation could continue any longer, they heard the loud buzzing of engines and they looked up to see an airship hovering above them.

"Oh no!" cried Sylwa. Just then boom. Something sharp like a torpedo shot from the sky and struck Payaka's hide. "Paya!" she climbed onto her back and saw it was a beeping device. "That's not good! Reya help me get it out!" Tsireya climbed on and tried to help her pull it out but it was too wedged into the thick hide.

"Sylwa," said Tsireya uncertainly. "It's coming,"

Sylwa raised her head and ahead of them, they saw the daemon ship within range. "We have to swim for it!"

"Over there!" Tsireya pointed to the three Brothers Rocks which they had been so close by. "It might provide some cover!"

"Come on Paya! Swim!" begged Sylwa.

Lo'ak and Atu peered down from Betze's saddle, desperately looking down. They headed in the direction of the Three Brothers Rocks and to their relief saw the girls with Payaka. Betze dived down but when they got closer, they could see the girls trying to pull the tracker out of her hide. "Quickly!" he urged his Ikran to dive down. Once they were down enough, the boys jumped into the water and swam to them.

"Are you alright?" asked Lo'ak to them.

"We're fine but we gotta get this out of her!" Sylwa struggled to wriggle it loose.

Lo'ak saw the calf. "Is that…"

"It's the calf of Ronal's spirit sister. She saved him," Sylwa sounded proud.

"You were so brave," Atu patted Payaka's hide.

Lo'ak stared around, trying to see anything sign of Tsu'tey. "Where's Tsu'tey?" he begged Payaka.

I don't know. She clicked. I haven't seen him since three days ago.

Lo'ak became worried. "Don't worry. We'll find him," promised Sylwa. "But right now, we've gotta do this!"

"Guys!" cried voices. They turned around and saw all their siblings swimming towards them with their ilus.

"It's getting closer!" screamed Tsireya. She pointed to the sea stack far ahead of them and they saw the daemon ship approaching.

"Guys!" Sylwa cried out to the others. "Help us!"

"Use this!" Aonung tossed her some rope and they tied it around the tracker.

"Call dad!" shouted Neteyam to Lo'ak as he had a communication choker.

"Why don't you do it? He listens to you more!" Lo'ak pulled it off and shoved it into his hands. He did not feel like talking to their dad at all. Neteyam was still hurt by his temper at both him and their father. But this wasn't the time to argue.

"Where are they?" Jake demanded a soldier to tell them where their children had disappeared off to.

"Dad!" cried a voice through the com. The parents listened intently to their radios.

"Neteyam!"

"A Tulkun is under attack! Killer ship's inbound!"

"It's all of us! The chief and the general's children too! We're at the Three Brother's Rocks!"

"Get to cover! Do not engage! We're coming!" Quickly Jake and Neytiri rushed to the chief's hut where Soxato was also with them. "The kids are under attack! They're defending a Tulkun! It's your kids too!" Ronal and Soxato were horrified.

"The daemon ship?" asked Tonowari.

"Yes! We gotta go!" Jake rushed off with his mate to gather their weapons.

"Weapons! Sound the alarm!" Tonowari commanded. Warriors rushed off to gather their weapons. Moments later, the leaders and Jake mounted Skimwings and Neytiri mounted her Ikran. The four with the sea warriors soared out to battle.

Skeera and Betze pulled hard on the rope along with the assistance of the ilus when splash! The kids fell into the water with a splash. Payaka's hide was from free of the tracking device but the daemon ship was closing in on them.

"Go that way!" commanded Neteyam holding the tracking device. "I'll draw them away!"

Betze and Skeera stared down at their riders in the water. "Go and hide!" they shouted to them. They chirped 'yes' and flew to hide behind some rocks.

"Go Paya!" pleaded Sylwa. "Go and hide you both! We'll be fine! Go!"

Be safe. Paya prayed. She and the calf dived deep underwater whilst the teens swam off on ilus into the kelp forest below the surface but small chips and crab suits and small submarines were released into the water to capture them.

Tsu'tey was lying on a rock shore, neighing heartbrokenly as he had done for the past few days. He missed his spirit brother so much. He loved him so much. And now he felt just as alone as he had felt for years. His right claw touched Lo'ak's crystal pendant that he had made him. As he closed his eyes, he suddenly felt a whoosh inside his mind. He was inside someone else's mind.

Little underwater ships attacking teens on ilus.

Sylwa and Tsireya try to escape together on ilus, going off in a different direction.

Atuiko sat back-faced to him. A taller teen resembling him, was in front of him. He then felt himself slipping off the ilu as a giant kelp leaf knocked him off. He crashes into the screen of a crab suit. His blue hands float in front of him to keep himself floating upright.

Whoosh.

Tsu'tey was back in the real world. He had been inside Lo'ak's mind. Lo'ak was in trouble. He had to save him. He had to save him and all his friends. He dove into the water, using the connection between him and his spirit brother to guide him towards his location at sea to save him.

And that's the next chapter done. So Tsu'tey can feel Lo'ak's emotions and see what he sees. What do you all think? I hope you all enjoyed this chapter. To answer some questions, Lo'ak will use a mighty sword which he will pull out of a stone, which contains the most powerful crystals inside. Additionally, I think it's completely wrong for Tulkun to be shunned for defending themselves or their loved ones. If anything the Tulkun Way does more harm than good. It's literally a death sentence to these creatures. As Tsu'tey, he will give birth to some babies when he's older and they will love Lo'ak and his family. I love the theories and alternate ideas you guys are suggesting. And as for this person that Lo'ak is meant to be: 'Someone who Truly Sees', it is a being long foretold among the Taquamares when they learnt of a prophecy that one day in an age of ever-lasting sorrow and endless bigotry, a person will strive to look past hatred and truly see what kind of beings they really are. As he knows what it feels like to be judged for what you are and not how you treat others, it is Lo'ak who will be that long-awaited hero. As one who truly sees, he has the capacity to look within others and see what they truly are whether afraid, conflict, kind, good, no matter what they look out for or what it may seem on the outside. It is the trait that makes him worthy of the bond he now shares with the sacred gems and the sacred spirits.

Once again the song does not belong to me. It belongs to Disney. I do not own it. I just wanted to make this chapter entertaining. The next chapter will be out later this week. See you all soon. I hope you all have enjoyed this chapter.
