I love Who's the Boss. There was good things about the show and bad things. While we can never go back and change things, we do have 30 years to play with to give Tony and Angela their happily ever after.

The hot summer Connecticut sun bathed her in warming rays as she leaned back on her pool float and inhaled deeply. Wearing dark sunglasses, messy blond hair and a green one piece, Angela Micelli was the picture of contentment. Exhaling she smiled to herself, she had accomplished a lot in the last year, one kid graduated, with honors, and starting a new career in California , one kid off to college, one business booming, and one very attentive husband. Life had been good.
She and Tony were set to depart for their 1 year anniversary, a cruise around the Greek aisles. Tony had wanted to do a tour of Italy, but one of her new accounts graciously offered their yacht for a 10 day sail away and that had sealed the deal. She consoled Tony with a tour of Italy for their next anniversary. One year into marital bliss with her soulmate and life felt perfect. She and Tony had married only four days after he'd surprised her by showing up at her front door, quitting his dream job to come back home to her. When they had first got engaged Tony had insisted on a big wedding, something he'd missed out on the first time with Marie. However, after nearly losing each other, the big wedding was no longer important to him. Warmth flowed through her as she remembered his words after a long night of love making, "I don't care about pomp and ceremony, I just want to be married to you and for us to finally be husband and wife" as he kissed her tenderly. The next morning she, her mother and Sam had quickly secured the upstate chapel, a dress, and notified all relevant parties to the upcoming nuptials. When the day came, it was simple, it was elegant, it was meaningful, it was passionate, it was them. She had never felt more complete.
A honeymoon in Hawaii, in which several muscles were pulled, and they had settled into a nice married routine. Gone were Tony's insecurities about social standing, his pride boosted by the fact that he was taking care of her. Oh, how well he took care of her in every possible way. Funny how sex can not only ease a lot of tension but provide clarity in other areas. She was one satisfied wife and he was one content husband. They always complimented each other perfectly, but now it was like they were of one mind and being. It could be startling yet comforting all at the same time. Angela was happy and secure, probably since her father had passed away. Even Mona's pesky jokes seem to fade into background noise.
She enjoyed sunning in the center of the pool, relaxing with her head back on the float when she felt the float start to weave up and down, a sign that she was not alone in the water. She soon felt hands encircle her ankles and gently move up calves and past her knees to settle on her thighs. She looked down to find Tony's adoring but wet face looking up at her with a sultry smile.
"Hello there, beautiful wife," he said
"Hey yourself" she replied back smiling.
Tony gently kissed her knee and then moved his head closer and kissed her inner thigh.
"Tony," she admonished, "We are in our neighbors pool and they are right over there."
"Nope," he began, "everyone is inside getting grub, Isabella sent me out here to get you."
"Still, I don't want to get too frisky there are children here," she said with a laugh.
"Come on, food is ready," Tony stated as he stood and turned in the waist high water, taking Angela by the ankles and pulling her, float and all, to the stairs out of the pool. Angela laughed wondering how they looked, she was sure that Wendy and Isabella were glued to the window. Her friends, for years teased her and encourage her, to give into to her feelings for Tony. She thought back to her post wedding party in which she caught Wendy and Isabella clinking glasses and sighing heavily as they both said, "finally" as they sank down on her sofa.
Angela was going to miss Isabella, with Marci off the school both she and Paul had decided to take a two year stint with Unicef in Central America. Both had a passion to serve at this capacity but with raising a child it was never the right time. Now they had decided to take the opportunity, which is what led to this going away pool party for them. Poor Wendy was starting to feel neglected, one friend off to the jungles of central America and the other friend, very absorbed and her hunky husband. Angela made a mental note to take Wendy to lunch next week.
Tony stepped out of the pool, wearing his yellow trunks, and extended to his hand to Angela. She took it and stood to walk out of the pool. Just as she emerged, Tony pulled her to him and kissed her tenderly but passionately.
"What was that for?" Angela asked.
"Just because," stated Tony, his gaze lingering, a soft smile, hands running up and down her sides. "Because I want to," he kissed her forehead, "because I finally can," he kissed her right cheek, "because you waited," he kissed her left cheek, "because you let me back in," he kissed her nose, "because I never want to stop," he gave her a quick peck, "and because I love you," he whispered and took her mouth in a deep kiss.
Angela wrapped her arms around his neck and gave into the kiss. She didn't care who was watching. It took them years to get here, and she would never tire of his affection, and would never tire of finally being able to indulge themselves in each other.
