Have you ever wondered what if? What would have happened if just a single difference had occurred. What if things turned out differently; how would the story change. This is one of those stories.

What if the serpentine had been banished instead of entombed? And how would they affect the story of this realm.

In the land of Ninjago, war has come to an end, the serpentine, vicious snake men from below, have been defeated by the elemental alliance with the help of the sacred flute.

Now they await to be judge by the court of the land, under the watchful gaze of Wu and Garmadon, sons of the First Spinjitzu Master, and Mystake, representative of the council of elders. Under this roof the entire race of the serpentine, five tribes strong, now lie in wait for their sentence.

Arcturus, Anacondrai general and current leader of the serpentine, slithers forward in defense of his people. The purple general with green eyes and golden armor, is determined to ensure that his people not suffer for crimes not their own. If they could only understand the true reason behind this war, maybe, just maybe, all of this could be resolve.

"Esteemed jury, I ask for your mercy, if not for myself, then for my people. Please, do not condemned them for my mistakes!" said Arcturus.

"Mercy? You who gave none now DARE to ask for it! Too bad!" exclaimed Mystake.

"The punishment for your crimes is banishment, to the cursed realm! Fortunate for you the people of Ninjago think it to cruel to banish an entire race to such a place." She continued.

"Instead, you will be banish with no destination and let fate sord you out. I hope is somewhere unpleasant!" she finished.

Nodding to Garmadon, the young man began to read from an ancient tome, as he recited the words a thick green mist began to envelope the serpents, Hypnobrai, Fangpyre, Venomari, Constrictai and Anacondrai alike. Slowly they began to float upwards.

In the ceiling a massive vortex formed, one large enough to consume them all, and with a great gust of wind all the serpentine banished. The vortex closed and things returned to normal.

"Good riddance, ungrateful snakes" the disguised Oni said.

Looking down, Garmadon suddenly felt a hand on his shoulder. Looking up reviled his brother Wu.

"It was the right call brother; things will be better now" he said with an uncertain smile.

"I hope you're right." He spoke before leaving the room.

Inside the vortex, the entirety of the Serpentine race was violently tossed around in the current of the stream. Passing throughout the Thirteen realms was a dangerous ordeal, especially with now destination in mind. From within Arcturus saw many a wonder, worlds of ice, darkness, endless deserts, and floating lands. He could also feel something, something pushing him. It was a familiar feeling, like a long-forgotten memory. It was the feeling of nature, pure and raw!

Suddenly the were spit out from the great vortex. Now on a different realm, all he could se as he grounded himself was jungle, end-less thick jungle.

But unknown to them, there was something special in this place, an ancient power that flowed like water from the heavens. And a majestic mountain floating in the air.

This was the land of Chima. A land of nature and wonder, a stage for their next story to be told.

This is their story. THESE ARE THE LEGENDS OF CHIMA.
