Summary/disclaimer: Time for another chapter of Spark of Force. Enjoy the 2600-word story. I don't own Star Wars, Disney and a few others do.

Meetra and Revan glanced at the rest of the Jedi Temple, the seat of the power of their former allies.

Revan frowned from behind his mask. This place was far more different than he remembered…. Though, he supposed this place was not the temple he had visited a few centuries ago.

Meetra hummed, looking around before she looked at Wesset and them who had been silent.

"The galaxy has changed many years since I have last seen it, Master Kenobi," Revan stated.

"Well, give or take a few centuries? You have not missed much." Obi-Wan stated.

"It's nice to know that is a common expression." Meetra quipped.

Anakin chuckled before he looked at Revan who looked at him before clearing his throat.

"I sense just as much power as mine, Master Skywalker. You are possibly one of the strongest Jedi I have met." Revan stated.

"Yes, it appears you are just as powerful in the force as I have heard, Master Revan," Anakin stated.

"Jedi Master, Revan was..." Yoda stated.

Revan and Meetra looked over at the Jedi Grand Master and then watched as Obi-Wan slowly moved in a semi-circle around them toward him.

"If you would? The council would like to talk to you both. It has been some time since the galaxy has been graced by Revan and his apprentice." Obi-Wan stated.

"Master?" Meetra asked.

"We will see them… But if you know me? You may not find me good company, the last council did not." Revan stated before the group walked towards the chambers.

There was a moment of silence as they slowly started to walk ahead. Revan looked over the elaborate hallways, the dozens of students of thousands of species across the galaxy.

Still? He was aware this was not his home. It had no longer been his home for centuries and he felt… Cold here, felt like a shadow that draped his fingers across vibrant corners and crannies.

Revan looked over at Meetra as they walked. She had been one of his greatest generals, one of the most loyal of his followers…. Now? Now there was nothing left, he doubted anyone he had known had been alive.

What would Mandalore think as he led his armies to reclaim the galaxy? What would Carth think aboard his flagship, sailing across the thousands of stars?

He blinked and sighed… And what of her? He could not face her after leaving. He knew damn well he did not deserve the kindness of her presence.

Still? There were a lot of things he had to address for those who knew him and warriors who were willing to obey his commands.

The galaxy was very different from what he had known. Yet? He had plenty of time to figure it out and plenty of time to let it all go growing down the road and he knew he could not have allowed it to have been done now and he did not.

To be fair? She had no idea what he sort of was when it came down to it, she had no idea the caliber of person he was to become, none.

There was just something to be done when it came down to it as he paused to try and think of it when it was all said and done.

A lot more of it was able to be done when it came down it. There was a lot more to their plans than was said and done when it came down the line.

Meetra was all bored when it came down to it. He was all too amused when it was all decided at the end. She crossed her arms and then looked to the side and then paused.

"We have too many answers and far too much to deal with for now," Meetra stated before she paused.

"Like?" Wesset asked.

"Like figuring out where the majority of the enemy fleet is going to end up being," Meetra stated before Wesset hummed and then sighed to himself.

He knew damn well that Meetra was also talking about the enemy fleet who had attacked them. Part of him wondered about the idea that she knew nothing about the droid fleets who had taken over the galaxy.

To be fair? None of them had known about the full might of the Separatists, she was no exception to not knowing exactly how their military machine had worked out.

"I just want you to know that there are a lot of problems with trying to research the Separatists… We have little to no information on them to begin with." Wesset stated.

"And the archives don't?" Revan asked.

"The clone wars only started very recently," Obi-Wan stated before he sighed.

It was clear they were not trying to withhold information, Revan would and could tell if they tried at all sort of rate.

There was something else to discuss as he fell silent, too interested in what the next move was to make as he sighed and rubbed at his side.

If nothing else? There were a lot of things Revan felt he would have to learn about this world… Like who the pawns of the new Sith order were.

Something about this all would come more and more to the forefront as time revealed the true intentions, what she did not know was how long it would be until the true culprit was revealed and little came to be done.

What bothered her more was whatever was coming. It did not leave much to chance, not at all, and that would not change at all even if she wished it to end.

She was tired, and worn down. Yet? Her mind raced when it came down to it as he paused. All parts of Meetra's mind were silent.

Meetra looked at Revan and then Wesset. The general in her made a thousand different calculations when it came down the line as she paused, she knew this place was different. Yet? She would not or could not understand what it was she sensed.

She looked at Anakin, the man was as strong as her, as strong as Revan. The force ebbed and flowed from Anakin like an ocean sending out currents toward the end of its edges.

Still? She did not know how to deal with it, she did not understand how Anakin was so powerful. She had only heard of such a warrior once and it was clear such a thing could not possibly have been true, right?

She did not know what was being sent her way but she could read the ripples in the force. She did not even know what he was doing but he was powerful and she was eager to learn.

Revan for his part was fascinated. Not simply because he had been on Coruscant centuries ago… But because he had felt it for now. He clicked it into pieces while he seemed to try and deal with it for now.

He had been too eager to get back to work and all this did was remind him that he had been in sort of things that even he of all people could deal with.

Much seemed to have changed since then. The galaxy? Not so much, the Jedi seemed to still be eager to fight each other over emotions or simply having them like it was a crime to feel something for people.

Part of him was disturbed but another part of it was going to be undone to the end… He had been too eager to figure out things and stop the emperor.

"Master Kenobi? Do you mind if I and my student speak to Master Skywalker and you after this meeting? I have some questions for the boy." Meetra heard from Revan.

She paused and looked at him but realized he of all people had been too eager to see how it had been for good reason.

Something about it all had been… Odd, truly odd, and truly inspirational. She of all things had been eager to figure out something inspirational.

And it was then and there that Meetra of all people realized she knew exactly what her master wanted and what she had believed at the end.

There was nothing about it in her mind that bothered her as much as not knowing, why. She had no idea of knowing what had happened, nothing, not a single thing when it came down to it. All of it was harder on them but not once when it came down to it for the moment.

They had a lot more to deal with than this. They held onto such a thing that it would keep being done and dusted, something that had brought them to their knees… Brought them such pain it had hurt.

They held onto something that needed to be addressed… And for good reason.

Meetra looked at Wesset a moment later… A moment of pain and disgust was written across his face as he looked upwards… Then he glanced at her, his face contorting into a frown which needed to be done.

The pain of losing? It was written across his face, carved like a knife into the flesh.

Both Jedi were tired… But it was clear that such a thing was hard enough to deal with everything going on.

They had more to deal with. She had more to deal with, and Revan would have more tasks for her to aid.

The pair of them, the pair of Jedi generals, two strategists locked in time in an era unknown to them… It felt like a bad holo novel but it was clear to them that this was all real, all too odd, and all too weird for even them.

She could tell that even the most touching amount of mercy was not enough for him, not enough for a single person at the end of the day.

It was clear that such a thing needed to be done and dusted with it for now as she paused to think once more and thought of it. Meetra hummed and then looked to the side.

"Master? I think I need a moment to try and catch my breath. I will get back to relaxing for now… Whatever comes next? I will wait for you now." Meetra stated before she paused to let herself be thought of when it came down the line.

There were a lot of things which needed to be done… And a lot that would become harder and harder. She had preparations to make at the end of it.

She knew at the end of such a day, she would rather rest… But she could give a second when it came down to it.

She could have been able to think but she did not want to think of it all too easily once more.

The chaos as of now, was too much to bear and she would continue to let it all be done and dusted, she had not let it be remembered as of now.

It was clear they had been dealing with something that needed to be dealt with for now as it came down the line to figure out.

Such a very hard thing to figure out… Something about it all was tiresome only to figure it out now and for good reason.

She knew what the score was… But it is harder and harder to deal with now and for good reason.

It was going to be harder and harder to figure things out now and for good reason at the end of the day.

She looked at Wesset as he looked to the side. She thought once more as she paused to think of what was going on besides now… There was a lot more to try and deal with.

Meetra seemed tired as she thought once of it and branched off from the back of the others as Wesset seemed to slink away from the others.

She had been too interested in trying to help the republic as she thought once more and then looked to the side.

Meetra watched as Wesset followed, the others being incapable of doing much when it came crashing down now, and for good reason.

She sighed as she rubbed at her temples, too much had been thrown now when it came crashing down onto the ground once again.

She and he thought of what the next move was going on before Meetra turned to look at Wesset.

"I need to go. Can you help me for now?" Meetra asked to which Wesset hummed before he looked to the side.

She was just flabbergasted now and for good reason, something about it all became harder and harder to put into words… She did not know what was to occur when there were things to be discussed.

Meetra seemed to be thinking of what was growing on her mind. She sighed and rubbed at her temples before she finally decided that she also needed more and more fresh air when it came crashing down when it came down to.

Meetra was too relaxed, too interested in what was growing on her mind. Revan, the war, her friends… It was too chaotic, far too chaotic.

She had been too eager to think of it now and for good reason… They had a LOT more to deal with now… One problem at a time, one idea at a mind, something that she had to deal with now and forever.

Wesset sighed and then thought once more, she did not know what was happening now as she contemplated… The future.

"OK, shall I bring you back to the temple when we are done?" Meetra heard as Wesset seemed to be thinking of something.

She hummed, tapping on her arms before she guessed on something she thought once more.

Meetra also smirked once more as she clicked her fingers and she reminded herself that being a general also meant what needed to be done and then thought of it.

Meetra was too interested in what was going on to focus on anything when it was all said and done.

Author notes

Phew. Another chapter is done! I want to point out that the next chapter will be in 2-10 months and will be 900-6500 words. The next chapter will be delayed and will show more of both Meetra and Wesset walking around the planet. Until then, Lighting Wolf is out!
