" -cursing Harry's jinxed broom in the Philosopher's Stone. During Harry's very first Quidditch game his broomstick becomes jinxed flinging Harry about high up in the air the Jinx very well could have thrown him off his broomstick and to his death fortunately Snape realizes these circumstances and mutters counter curses under his breath throughout the entirety of the match recognizing that the same danger May await Harriet the following match Snape even goes so far to protect Harry that he serves as referee in gryffindor's next Quidditch game"
James felt sick. As much as he liked hearing about his future son and his quidditch inclination , he really didn't want the first thing he heard from it to be about near death. He looked at Lily, she seemed livid at what she heard.
"2. In the Chamber of Secrets, during Gilderoy Lockhart's short-lived Dueling Club, Snape teaches Harry how to perform the Expelliarmus spell. Obviously, this instruction doesn't directly save Harry at this exact point in time. However, Mr. Potter goes on to use this spell so often in favor of more offensive and dangerous curses that it's often referred to as his signature spell. Of course, being that it is a defensive spell that helps the witch or wizard who uses it deflect harmful curses, it stands to reason that every time Harry goes on to use Expelliarmus, Severus Snape has indirectly saved his life."
James cringed. He didn't know what the chamber of secrets had to do with anything. He guessed it was the name of one "book" in the series, he dreaded to know why it was titled so. However the idea of Lockhart...he glanced at the bastard sitting in Ravenclaw's table. He seemed to preen at the mention of his name. The idea of Lockhart being in any role later on at Hogwarts was even worse than Snape, at least he was competent.
"3 Casting Vipera Evanesca to protect Harry, during those same sessions of the Dueling Club in the Chamber of Secrets, Snape also comes to Harry's aid when Malfoy conjures up a snake while dueling Harry. Unaware that Harry is indeed a Parseltongue, meaning that he could have communicated with the conjured serpent, the professor casts the Snake Vanishing spell, Vipera Evanesca, in order to protect Harry from harm."
The air suddenly grew heavy again. A Potter being a parseltongue?
"4. Intervening on the night of a full moon. The next major moment when Severus
Snape comes to Harry's Aid is in the Prisoner of Azkaban near the end of this
installment not only does Snape Place himself between Harry and the perceived danger of Sirius Black. He also follows Remus Lupin out of Hogwarts
after he realizes that the latter Professor has forgotten to take his wolf Bane potion which of course is the very thing keeping Lupine from transitioning
to a dangerous werewolf during the full moon in doing so Snape is able to save Harry Ron and Hermione from Lupin attacking them after transforming"
James grew livid as the cursed orb kept going on relentlessly spreading damning information. Before anything registered in his head, he wondered how in hell would Sirius be perceived as danger? Yes, of course it was merely perceived, he didn't need the stupid orb to think that. Even if it didn't say "perceived" otherwise, he wouldn't believe it either. But how did it become that way? He was hoping that if at least his son become an orphan, he would have Sirius next to him. No if there was no Sirius, so much so he was perceived as danger, he dreaded to know about his son's life. Sirius next to him was incredulous too next him. His thoughts suddenly changed trajectory with the noise that suddenly exploded in the hall, it seems like Remus worry were not that unfounded after all. He couldn't even register that Remus would one day become a Professor because his werewolf status getting revealed was a devastating blow. He looked at him, Remus was shaking, he looked absolutely livid like he wanted the earth to open and swallow him. He and Sirius glared defiantly at whoever had the gall to keep glancing at Moony. Fortunately, the Orb continued and took away any unnecessary attention though he knew all of this would sink in everyone minds afterwards.
"5. Providing instruction on Occlumency, one of the most well-known instances of Snape attempting to help Harry is when he provides the boy with Occlumency lessons. These lessons are given with the sole intention of assisting Harry in developing the ability to close his mind to Lord Voldemort, a skill that could very well save his life. Unfortunately, despite their efforts, which, let's be honest, were less than their best, these sessions resulted in very little progress and mostly revealed their feelings of animosity towards one another."
James jolted, he didn't know Snape was proficient in Occlumency. Of course Snape would have animosity towards... Harry, his son... James grunted.
