The Mortal War is done but Sebastian wasn't. Jealous of Clary's family and friends, he uses his demon powers to erase Clary's memories. No one remembers Clary except her family and friends in New York. All she knows now is that the Penhallows are her adoptive family and her abusive father. When she visits the Penhallows' cousins in New York, will she believe her memories or theirs?

Convinced that she is on the right side of a battle, she continues to fight with him and his army of twisted followers. But is this only because Sebastian appeared before Jace?
