9 months after Kuvira's defeat, Republic City has been rebuilt and expanded, while the Earth Kingdom split into democratic states. The world has entered a new era of peace, until Asami finds her father's secret Ultron program and decides to finish it. Thus Korra and Team Avatar will have to face the genius A.I Ultron, and prevent this new era of peace from being, the Age of Ultron.
