One can't help but wonder, ghouls are believed to not have an afterlife. So, what would that mean for half-ghouls? Do they go to heaven or hell? Or do they wander through a empty void, waiting for something to end them? I myself can't help but wonder, so let's follow the tale of this particular ghoul, shall we? Rated M to give me leeway. One day, however, the young girl is captured by a psychotic green haired Ghoul and exposed to unimaginable horrors during her captivity. Will Ruby break in the face of despair? Can she find happiness in a world without hope? Tune in to find out!

The Four Kingdoms of Remnant are at peace. The only threats the world must face now are the Grimm, and the monsters that hide in plain sight. Or at least, that's what most would assume. This peace is a lie; a lie that is slowly being worn away as War stirs upon the horizon. Victory may lie in a simple soul, but in Remnant, those are few and far between. Dedicated to Monty Oum.
