The Chosen Undead, after literal eons of research in the broken time of Lordran, had finally managed to find a way to break Gwyn's curse of Undeath. However, as he was about to undo the curse, he fell for a trap cleverly laid upon the curse by Gwyn before he sacrificed himself to the flames. Now he finds himself trapped within the Alabaster Icelands of the Hisui region.
