Carolyn Muir, a young, attractive widow, with two small children, is almost destitute. Her refusal to remarry is an issue with her parents. When a position as a clerk of office to her uncle Claymore Gregg becomes available Carolyn, her children and her woman companion, are all shipped off to Maine's wild, windy coast in the hope Carolyn will see sense and agree to find a husband...

"Captain, if you were alive, Gull Cottage would be a palace…" Carolyn told Daniel. Fateful words that set both of them on a path neither ever expected to walk. Carolyn's parents want to take their daughter and grandchildren back to Philadelphia. Daniel is equally determined they will continue to live at Gull Cottage. To what lengths will he go to make this happen?

As the Muirs settle into their new home ,Carolyn finds a way to earn money that she hopes will motivate Claymore to make repairs to Gull Cottage, but The Captain knows the only way to Claymore's tool bag is the promise of a big payoff. Their friendly wager on the matter takes a serious turn. In spite of what's at stake, The Captain insures Carolyn wins on every front.

Set after the last episode 'Wedding Day.' Not going to be a whole story exactly but more a series of events exploring the Captain’s ability to touch and his growing relationship with Carolyn. Rating may change.

This is a continuation of the Episode "Double Trouble" where Carolyn Muir meets Captain Gregg's living double, Irish author Sean Callahan. Always thought they could have done much, much more with this concept. . .

Romance blossoms between Captain Gregg (as Sean Callahan) and Mrs. Muir. But can they convince Claymore, as a Justice of the Peace, to help them tie the knot?

Carolyn and the children take a trip to Schooner Bay over Spring Break to get a feel for the town and visit Gull Cottage. Candy relieves her disappointment over not going to Disney World by making friends both young and old. Carolyn seeks to find an old friend and Jonathan and Martha find their own ways of coming to terms with life's new adventure.

In Defense of Claymore. I've always admired how the talented, hilarious and good-natured Charles Nelson Reilly was able to take an otherwise conniving, despicable character and add some lovable, and occasionally, even heroic qualities. All criticisms/feedback/ideas welcome!

Sequel to "Escape To Gull Cottage" This story follows Captain Gregg during the same time period as "Leaves Must Fall" follows Carolyn, and brings them one step closer to a reunion. These co-current stories can be read together, or in either order and still make sense. Capt Gregg evaluates his afterlife choices and elicits an unexpected partner to save Gull Cottage and himself.

On the one hand, the New England Excelsior Circus coming to town is a good thing. On the other, the building of summer hotels in Schooner Bay is not...at least for the residents of the Schooner Bay Home for Invalid and Indigent Seamen and the ghost of Captain Daniel Gregg. On the third hand, the eldest of the seamen, Nate Douglas, isn't so sure about the circus people.
