Drabbles set in the late 1930s and early 1940s...

March 1912 - a baby is abandoned at the doors of Downton Abbey. Servant Thomas Barrow agrees to claim paternity for the foundling. The story mainly revolves around Thomas and his daughter, but the other characters also play a role in every chapter. The characters don't belong to me, only the OC does.

December 1962 - Sybbie Branson Langston returns to Downton, and to her beloved Donk, to help her family prepare the estate for its public opening. In the process of organizing what were once private rooms, one seemingly insignificant memento reminds everyone that we are all a part of a story that began long before we were born. Pre-canon Cobert AU. Cora and Robert didn't get married because Isidore Levinson found a suitable match for Cora in New York and called her back home before the end of the London season and after Robert had stalled on his proposal anyway. We meet Cora and Robert a year later, both having to live with the choices that were made.

AU continuation of the Unlikely Bonds series. This a Mary/Tom Fan Fiction. Mary has been banished from Downton in Disgrace, she must make her way in the world with her former chauffeur at her side. This is nearly entirely from Mary's POV. Just mentions of Anna due to exchange of letters.

For full summary, see beginning of Prologue (too long to post). January 1933, and Thomas, Richard and co are faced with several different scenarios centred around family issues, which can be complicated at times. In order to solve their problems, friends must come together.

While the Crawley's deal with the lingering effects of the depression, Robert struggles with Edward VIII decision to abdicate. Meanwhile, Tom struggles with his identity again after the new Irish Constitution. Amidst it all, Sybbie is coming of age. Main parings will be Cobert and Tom/Lucy but some Mary/Henry (because Robert lives with both, and Tom works with both).

AU: The Fallout for the Crawley Family after Lady Mary's disgrace. Her Father Robert Crawley banished her from the estate along with the former chauffeur Branson.
