After learning of a plot to destroy the city from a man calling himself Ishmael, Touma sets out to stop a destructive Super Weapon named the Atma Weapon. A weapon of mass murder constructed by the Acolytes of the New God. Touma soon realizes that it takes more than a group of plucky teenagers to prevent a nuclear strike. The fate of Academy City rests on Touma's shoulders.
