Several dozens of strangely dressed pointy hatted, logic-lacking ladies and gentlemen were going about their day. Shopkeepers advertise their goods, be it food, potions, accessories, and even multi-colored umbrellas.

There were shops selling robes, shops selling telescopes, sextants and strange instruments, windows stacked with barrels of bat spleens and eels' eyes, tottering piles of spell books, quills, and rolls of parchment, potion bottles, globes of the moon.

Diagon Alley. A cobblestoned wizarding alley and commercial district located behind a pub called the Leaky Cauldron, in downtown London, England. The economic hearth of the British wizarding world was hiding in plain sight, right there in the capital.

Inside the alley was an assortment of shops, restaurants as well as wizarding Britain's most important institutions like the Ollivanders wand shop and Gringotts Wizarding Bank.

An offshoot of Diagon alley was knockturn alley, a less popular, shadier part filled with dark wizards, hags, criminals and those unfortunate enough to be there. It is almost entirely dedicated to the dark arts and considered dodgy at best by most wizards.

As the school year is about to start, the alley will soon be filled with Hogwarts students looking to buy supplies. It would be flooded with people while the residents make the most of the opportunity, selling their wares like there was not tomorrow. Which is why muggleborns are taken here earlier, they would be overwhelmed if their first experience was the school rush.

"This is kind of ridiculous, you are telling me a part London is hidden from world."

My dad is right in saying that, I mean this is like city within city, accurately speaking not a city more like a medieval town hidden in London, Capital of British empire . Which at one point dominated the world with its numerous colonies.

The wizard kind are practically hidden in plain sight.

"Not a part of London. It is more like in between streets of London."

WTF.

"Is that a chocolate fountain?"

Not the one-foot fountain seen in candy stores in muggle world. But 100 feet wonder inside the space extended room.

Chibi's cousins are already raiding the chocolates in honey dukes . Why the fuck is there a rainbow.

"Yes, Mr. Arjun. Now we should get going, your supplies will not buy themselves. "

I turn to see that McGonagall and Uncle have already come back from Gringotts. Seriously a budding wizard apprentice is not even given the right to accompany the goblin mines.

I honestly do not know where to look, the whole place was magical. Did you get it magical.

Corny jokes aside, Spells were cast left and right, enchanted objects everywhere. I felt like Michael Jackson in primary school!

Fortunately, the deputy headmistress was there to stop me from spending the entire day trying to figure out how every bit of magic worked. Through multiple explanations and ample threats, Professor McGonagall got us moving through the different shops. But My AI chip is working overtime recording all the information.

She eventually led me to be fitted for robes at Madam Malkin's shop while she and my family went to acquire the rest of my supplies. I left with my cheeks utterly brutalized, the eponymous witch and her assistants fussed over me the whole time.

One of the downsides of being a cute child.

If the Animagus noticed, she did not bother mentioning it; for that, I was thankful.

But this transgression would not be forgotten, I vowed to get back on her, in time.

Ollivanders was the sole wand shop of Diagon alley, peeling golden letters over the door read "Ollivanders: makers of fine wands since 383 B.C.". It was managed by Garrick Ollivanders, current owner of this illustrious shop and Britain's best wand maker, his creations being reputed for their exceptional quality all over world.

It was a small, empty construct of the medieval style. Thousands of narrow boxes containing wands were piled right up to the ceiling of the tiny shop, and the whole place had a thin layer of dust about it.

As the doors opened, Ollivander leaped before me, while I impassively lifted an eyebrow. Others would see the problem in this sentence, but Garrick Ollivanders was not just anyone, he was a man who gave shiny wands to eleven years old children.

"Welcome to Ollivanders! Makers of fine wands since times immemorial"

I knew it was coming, though not reacting was a reaction. If anything, he is more excited.

"Hello, mister Ollivanders."

I greeted him cordially ; my excitement has seeped a little into my voice at finally getting my wand . The iconic moment in harry potter world.

Mr. Ollivander was dressed in formal wizarding clothes which reminded me of items from the Victorian era. His silvery eyes, wide open contrasted with the gloom of the shop, shining with almost fanatical interest. Though his pale, weary face and white hair betrayed his age, he compensated for it with the sort of professional fervor I could not help but admire.

Even if I knew before hand It is irritating when the wand maker started measuring everything from full height, the size of my hands, head and even the length of my nose. Mumbling incoherently the whole time, before eventually rushing to the back of his shop. Coming back with a narrow wand box, which he quickly opened presenting it to me.

" Black Walnut, twelve and half an inch, Pheonix feather, Rigid." Informed the wandmaker.

The moment I touched it my magic resonated with the wand. The magic floats out into my wand and wand tip brightens like the sun(Lumos solem)

I was wrong. Wands are not the training wheels of magic. They are more like tools, no , not the 'partner to my magic' should be the apt Title.

AI how many units are consumed in for lumous Solem.

[calculating

Current attempt of Lumous Solem

Consumed Reserves: 3 units, can be trained to 2 units.

Nature of light: Like sun

Mastery : 55/100 (increase in 3)]

[Current reserves: 24 units

Lumos solem-3 units

Wand bond formation– 3 units ]

Impressive. The 3 points increase in mastery , must be the nature of light. The wand took away the need for 2 units for each spell.

No wonder wands in Harry Potter world have replaced every other focus. They are helpful in mastering new magic and casting it with less magical reserves.

Before casting Lumos I needed the mandatory 2 units then 1 unit to cast the magic . I could cast 10 Lumos before , now I can cast 30 Lumos.

Even the mastery I could attain my current mastery in spells in 1 month. Though the average student may need 6 months as I have AI chip which allows me to feel the intent of the perfect cast.

"Can you talk about it ?"

Even as I was questioning him, I could not remove my gaze from my wand. It is like an extra limb. My magical limb.

"Black Walnut

Less common than the standard walnut wand, that of black walnut seeks a head of good instincts and powerful insight. Black walnut is a very handsome wood, but not the easiest to master. It has one pronounced quirk, which is that it is abnormally attuned to inner conflict and loses power dramatically if its possessor practices any form of self-deception. If the witch or wizard is unable or unwilling to be honest with themselves or others, the wand often fails to perform adequately and must be matched with a new owner if it is to regain its former prowess. Paired with a sincere, self-aware owner, however, it becomes one of the most loyal and impressive wands of all, with a particular flair in all kinds of charm work."

Reminds me of myself , when forced to study by my parents, I cannot even read a single page in anatomy . But at the same time, I managed to complete the entire chapter when I wanted to study. Too much difference in efficiency.

"Pheonix feather, Rarest but greatest range of magic with no prejudice . It requires exceptional wizards for bonding."

It must be my trained intent-my connection to my magic. Harry and tom themselves had closer connection to magic i.e., easily apply their intent to magic be it emotional or by will.

"The wand length is mostly the most comfortable length according to you calculated with arithmancy you're your measurements."

"Rigid-Basically it means you and your wand are unwilling to change due to outside circumstances."

Ok wand flexibility is about my personality. I do not like to be told to do anything.

I inquired about the price, the elder wizard answered solemnly.

" Seven galleons, my boy. The price of each wand in this store." Said the old man, happy to have matched yet another tricky pair.

I paid him and walked out of the store to my waiting family and professor.

Now I understand when McGonagall said it was a private moment.

AI note Hypothesis 42

[Wand: Unlike commonly believed in fanfiction . It is not a crutch.

It is not a tool as believed by wizarding society, well most of it.

Wand acts as catalyst to reaction called magic.

Wizarding kind replaced wandless magic simply because they got lazy to work hard.

Wandless magic is challenging work and wand magic is smart work.

But wandless magic has its advantages.

· better at inducing intent – Increase in connection to magic which I believe is requirement for most of the powerful magic in world . It is more of requirement for achieving mastery in magical subjects.

§ charms

§ transfiguration

§ potions

In fact, it is the talent for divination, rituals etc.

· Slightly higher magical growth rate, due to the increase in body's adaptation to magic usage -the 2 units consumed are believed to be inside body.

But wandless magic shows slow spell mastery rate and hard to induce complex intent into spell.

Hence Ideal method to proceed, master the spell casting with wand and familiarize it with wandless casting again for better connection to magic. Magical battles in between powerhouses have both casting. Evidenced by battle of DOM between Voldemort and Dumbledore.]
