I started to panic badly. My heart is beating a little faster. This jungle is big. Very big to me. I could get lost easily there. Well I can. This is not like you would get lost in the woods or a cornfield. This is a jungle and I hope that I can find civilization in sight. All I have to do is look hard enough.
That's what I'll do. I am wearing my aquamarine two piece swimsuit and pink gym shorts. Then I heard screaming. That made me jump a bit. I looked at what appears to be primates. They were chased by something bigger. I didn't understand on what is going on. I secretly followed the sound.
It got louder when I got closer. I then pushed some tree branches back and I got my eyes wide.
What I saw was a dinosaur! An iguanodon! I stepped back a bit. Have I traveled back in time or something? That's a question that I have in my head now. I have to know. I would soon. That's it, I would. What I didn't know is that I was being discovered. I took a few baby steps to be sure.
I had to be very careful. Then I heard strange sounds. That's strange and weird at the same time. Then I felt something touched my back. I jumped with a yelp. I turned around and got my eyes open wide. I saw the iguanodon.
The iguanodon just looked at me and then I got my eyes wide even more when I heard it ask, "Who are you?" I didn't want to sound rude, so I stammered, "I-I'm Leah, who are you? How did I get here?" The iguanodon then said, "Wait, one question at a time Leah, I'm Aladar and you're in my home." The iguanodon then had a good strong look at me.
He then said, "Are you really a human? I have heard stories of them before." I answered, "Well I am a human, my guess is that you haven't seen a female one before haven't you?" The dinosaur laughed and said that I seem wonderful before it noticed the look on my face.
I seem a bit sad. He then said that it's ok. He then suggested that I should help him find Zini. I then asked, "Who's Zini?" He then said that he's his friend. I said to him, "I'm sure he's a nice creature, if he is." Aladar then said to me that he is a nice monkey and he's more of a love monkey.
That made me laugh. I just think that it's funny. Really funny. Then we heard talking. I then looked at a prehistoric monkey. It does look like one to me. Aladar and I got a bit closer and Aladar said that he hopes that it's not contagious. He then said to his friend, "Come on hot stuff, let's get going. You don't wanna miss Yar's annual pep talk. Also I want you to meet Leah, she's special."
Zini said before me, "I love meeting new…whoa! Is she a human being? I've heard stories about them. I never expected to see a human girl before." We then walked and Aladar said, "Leah needs some help." I said, "Yeah I stumbled into this land from my own world and…" Aladar said that I came out of nowhere. I then asked him, "Who's Yar by the way?" Aladar then answered me, "He's my grandfather." I said, "I'm sure he's a nice creature like Zini, if he is I mean." The two boys just talked about Yar.
I wonder what this Yar is like anyway. I would have to find out for myself soon enough. Maybe I'll get my answer soon. I hope.
