Leah in a Land of Dinosaur

While mourning the loss of her grandmother, a young girl named Leah is transported back to a land of the dinosaurs. She must help an iguanodon and his family find a new home after a meteor impact. Will it be enough for her to get home?

3. Fun in the Night Courtship

Evening fell. I then took notice of an elderly lemur. That must be Yar. Then I heard Aladar shouting to the other male lemurs, "Come on guys, we don't wanna let them down."

Then Yar shouted, "Go on now! Chest out! Chin up!" I got amazed at what I am seeing, I am seeing male lemurs jumping to Aladar's back. Then the old lemur took notice of me. He then told Aladar to make the male lemurs look good. Aladar then said, "Come on Yar, my charm and your brains? No problem."

What could happen? I ran and laughed while Aladar roared. This is becoming so much fun for me. Then I saw Zini doing something to entertain the girls and he almost fell off of Aladar. I laughed and said quietly, "Showoff."

I giggled at this. This is just too funny for me. Then I felt something tickling me. I laughed as something was tickling my leg. I looked down and do you know what I saw? I saw a young prehistoric monkey! Aladar took notice of it right away.

He then said, "The one on your leg is Suri. Suri, this is Leah." Then I got amazed when I saw Aladar sitting down! I never knew that a dinosaur like him can do that. I then heard hoots and shouts. I think they wanted to courtship to begin.

This is something I never expect to see or hear at all. I think it sounds like fun. I then heard Aladar joining the fun. He roared to join in the fun I mean. This is fun.

Then I saw Zini making noises and he fell into the lower part of the trees and his legs were dangling down. I giggled because I thought it was funny. Very funny to me. I then saw the other lemurs trying their best to get a mate. I then saw Aladar helping Zini out.

I really hope that Zini would do the best he can. Then I saw that he didn't get a mate. I felt really sorry for him. Pilo, the female lemur said to me, "Don't worry Leah, you are not the only one who feels bad for Zini."

I noticed something not right. Aladar is the only dinosaur on this island, there isn't one around. I felt sorry for him now. Then I noticed something not right now. I saw rocks that look like asteroids to me.

They sure look like them to me. They're also known as meteors. That's strange.
