A/N: Hey, hey, hey! Welcome to my first Kim Possible fanfiction! Here's a bit of the backstory before we get into it.
Shego and Drakken reformed after the series finale, Graduation, and started a romantic relationship. They started going by their real first names again, which are Drew and Serenity. In this fanfiction they've been married for about five years and have two born kids, with another child on the way.

Kim opened her eyes. She sighed when she saw only one line in the rectangle. "Of course. It's always negative." She picked up the white stick and let it fall into the trash can.
As Kim turned off the bathroom light, she felt like the light of hope went out with it. She and Ron had been trying to get pregnant for months now, but the pregnancy tests always came up negative. They both had gone to the doctors' to see if they had some sort of problem, but the doctors said everything looked fine. There was nothing to do except keep trying.
Kim sat on the couch and sighed. She was trying to be strong, but her wall was crumbling down. The tears reached her eyes and she let them fall. All she wanted was a baby. Was that so much to ask for?
After a few moments of silent crying, she grabbed her phone off the coffee table, and dialed the number she had dialed so many times before.
"Hello?" A woman greeted on the other line.
"Hey S, do you have a moment to talk?" Kim asked.
"For you, of course. What's up, Kimmie?"
"I took another pregnancy test," Kim answered.
"And?"
"And it was negative. Again." Kim sighed. "How did you deal with it?"
"Deal with what?" Shego asked, then Kim heard something break in the background. "Ugh, excuse me for a moment."
Kim's eyebrows went up when she heard Shego's distant yell. "Vikki, what did we say about balancing places on our heads…?"
After the mother and daughter duo finish their discussion, Shego came back to the phone. "Sorry about that Kim. What did you want to ask me again?"
"How did you deal… with your miscarriage?" Kim asked hesitantly, knowing this was a sensitive topic for Shego.
"Oh," Shego said. A moment of silence passed. "Well… I guess I just… I mean, I think I was just…." Shego sighed. "Look, you remember what I was like. I was a mess when it first happened."
"But did the idea that you may never get pregnant again cross your mind?"
"All the time. I was terrified I would never get to have a child, and scared I would never want to have another child. Losing the first one… that's not easy. But I know it's different for you. You've never been pregnant. And that's what's scaring you, right?" Shego asked.
Kim nodded. "Yeah. I mean… I've wanted kids for such a long time. Bringing another life into this world…." Kim felt like her breath had been taken away. "It's a feeling like no other. I know it is. But… what if I never get that chance?"
Shego took a deep breath. "Well, if you never get that chance, I guess that's just the way it's meant to be. Or maybe that means I'm supposed to give you one of my kids."
"I can go live with Aunty Kim?! Oh boy!" Kim could hear Vikki jumping up and down excitedly. She let out a laugh.
"No, I was just trying to cheer Aunty Kim up." Shego sighed aggressively. "Vikki, I told you to clean up your blocks. Go do it please."
Vikki made a growling noise and Kim put a hand on her mouth to contain her laughter. "Sorry about that Kim."
"It's okay. You have your hands full, don't you?" Kim smirked.
Shego sighed. "All the time."
"I hope I get to have my hands full one day." Kim looked down sadly, but then she shook her head. "Sorry, didn't mean to be a downer."
"Eh it's fine. I used to do that to you all the time, you're just paying back the favor, right?" Shego asked with a smirk.
Kim laughed. "I guess so. Thanks for letting me vent. I'm glad I have a friend like you."
Shego smiled. "Anytime, Kid. Now listen, I gotta go before Vikki puts Jello in the baby's hair, NO!" Then the line went dead.
Kim chuckled to herself. Shego was lucky to have kids that always surprised her. In both good and bad ways. Which made Kim wonder if she would get that chance.

"Come on Kim, brighten up. There's always adoption," Monique reminded her friend.
"I know, and we're on the list. But it might take a while for us to get approved. And we were planning on doing the fostering-to-adopt system because older kids have a hard time finding a family," Kim explained, hugging her knees.
Monique sighed. "Girl, you cannot sit around moping for the rest of your life. You'll get pregnant one day, I know it."
"Yeah, if only one day could be today-day." Kim hid her face with her knees and hair. Monique put a comforting hand on Kim's shoulder.
After a moment of silence, the front door burst open. Both girls looked at it. "Hey ladies, what's going on?"
Monique crossed her arms. "You know what's going on, Ron. Your girl is devastated she still hasn't gotten pregnant yet."
Ron walked over to the kitchen table and put the bags of groceries down. "Well, of course I know that. I just meant what are you guys doing."
"Moping," Kim remarked, glaring at her husband.
Ron sighed. "KP, I know you're sad about this. But I have a surprise for you. It's kind of a far drive, but I know it'll be—"
"I'm not in the mood Ron," Kim interrupted.
"I'm not taking no for answer," he said as he walked towards her. "Look KP, I know you'll love this. And you could really use a cheer me up. So come on, go get in the car." Ron grabbed Kim's hands and pulled off the couch. He tried to push her to the door, but she resisted.
"Fine! But let me walk there myself." Kim pulled away from Ron and went out the door.
Ron turned to Monique. "Monique, do you mind putting away the groceries? For Kim's sake, not mine. She really needs something to make her happy. And the sooner the better, because if she's annoyed she'll take it out on me."
Monique sighed and stood up. "Fine. Only because Kim's my best friend. And because she's sad. And because you're being a really sweet husband right now."
"Booyah!" Ron pumped his fist. "We'll be back later. If you want to leave, you know what to do."
Ron left the house and got in the driver's seat of the car. He buckled himself in, started up the engine, and pulled out of the driveway.
The car was dead silent. "You know, Kim, I know you're upset about not being pregnant yet, but you don't have to be so…."
"So, what? Overdramatic?!" She asked.
"No, just sad, I guess. I mean, I'm sad about it too, you know," Ron said, keeping his eyes on the road.
Kim gasped. "Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry Ron. I never asked how you felt about all of this."
Ron smiled gently. "It's okay. I know it's harder on you. But like I was saying, you don't have to get so sad about it. Just look at the bright side."
"What bright side?"
"The multitude of bright sides! I mean, if you had gotten pregnant when we planned, we wouldn't have been able to stop that jewel thief in Paris."
"True, but Serenity and Drew could've handled that. A baby would've been better." She huffed.
"Yeah, okay, but maybe there's something about the timing. I mean, maybe there's something important we would've missed if you had been pregnant. And not to mention, it's always good to stay positive. Not that I'm great at doing that, but I try." Ron shrugged.
Kim sighed. "Maybe you're right."
They rode the rest of the way in silence. But when they arrived at their final destination, Kim had a lot of questions.
"Ron, where are we? Did you get lost?" she asked, looking at the large forest around them.
"No! Have some faith in me KP. I know exactly where we are. And I know you're gonna love it." He turned off the car and got out. Kim followed.
Ron led the way up a large hill. Kim looked around at the green trees with her eyebrows knitted together. She was not sure about this.
Once they reached a cliff, Ron stopped and walked over to sit by the edge. "Careful, Ron! You don't want to fall."
"Relax KP. Now just sit and look at the sky." Ron pointed to the starry sky. The moon wasn't in sight.
Kim sat down next to him and looked up at the sky skeptically.
Nothing happened after about ten minutes, and Kim was growing more impatient by the moment. "Ron, are you sure…." Kim trailed off. A shooting star just passed them. Kim looked over at Ron in surprise.
He had a wide smile on his face. "Just watch, and wish."
Kim looked back up at the sky, and there was another shooting star. And another, and another, and another. Their bright, white glow and flowing tails relit Kim's hope. She felt her heart swell at the beauty of this natural fireworks show.
As it started slowing down, Kim remembered to make her wish. A star passed and she focused on it. I wish for a baby. Please give us a baby.
Ron had the same idea. Because when the last star passed, he wished for the same thing. I wish for my wife to get pregnant. Please. I know she's meant to be a mother. Don't let my unlucky odds ruin her dream.
After the show ended, they both kept staring at the sky in silence. "That was beautiful, Ron. How did you find this place?" She asked as she looked at him.
He shrugged with a sheepish smile. "I asked your dad about it. He took me here and told me when the next show would be."
"Well thank you. I really needed that." She looked back up at the quiet night sky.
Ron did the same. "I know."
"Now we just have to hope it works," Kim said, a hint of desperation in her voice.
"Only time will tell,"

A month and a half later
Ron almost fell to the floor when he heard his wife scream. "Kim, what is it? What happened?!" He stumbled on his way to the bathroom.
Kim opened the door and held out a white stick with a rectangle on it. "Look at it!"
There were two purple lines in the rectangle. Two purple lines. Not one. Two. Which meant… "You're pregnant?!"
Kim nodded with a wide grin. "Isn't it great?! I'm finally pregnant. We're… finally gonna be parents, Ron."
"Wow," he breathed. "That's a big responsibility."
"But we can do it. Because…." She gestured for him to keep the sentence going.
"Anything is possible for a Possible. Which, you know, I am now so." He gave her a sly look as he walked over to her and put his arm around her shoulders.
She put her arm around his waist and smiled. "Oh yeah."
Kim looked down at the pregnancy test again and squealed. "I can't believe it!"
"Me either! I'm so happy for us KP," Ron exclaimed.
She sighed blissfully. "Me too."
They looked at each other, and leaned forward, kissing. Both of them couldn't believe they had finally gotten pregnant.
It felt simply… impossible.
