Something that Palpatine never thought he felt was the light side, at least a small part of the light seemed to claim him but at the same time the dark side denied him. Sidious couldn't believe what was happening, he wanted to wake up but it was impossible.
Sidious realized that he couldn't do anything, perhaps he would stay like this until his strength allowed him to. But for a moment he reflected and it was that that insignificant feeling that he felt for Anakin made him lower his guard. Sidious exploded with anger in that state... he concentrated once more to get out of that state, until he finally managed to wake up.
He concentrated on the strength but he couldn't use all the darkness and it was that light from the light side that claimed him for himself. He concentrated once again, but now to his surprise there was something else that happened. He heard a hum, chaos, and then Anakin's voice, he heard him talking to other Jedi about the current situation, especially his own. This without knowing what was happening, or what that strange connection that had seemed was.
