Last year around the anniversary of Michael Zaslow's passing I decided it would be fun to write a story arc just for him and wrote Roger Thorpe's Christmas Carol. While I enjoyed writing it ultimately it was lacking. As has now become habit, and at the insistence of KellyGL this is the re-write, of that story. It will be longer, and more detailed. This is a rewrite of a story I wrote months ago. The bones are the same but a lot's different. Holly's been dragged back to Springfield because Blake needs her.

This is a direct sequel to Exercising the Demons. In the best soap opera tradition, Holly and Roger's daughter Katie is now SORASed to a college sophomore. :) The title is from the Suzanne Vega song of the same name. This messes with canon in a major way and was briefly up before but has been rewritten. (I'm not classifying it as a Holly and Roger story because it's not really.)

Springfield, along with the rest of the United States now lives in a post Roe-V-Wade world. Clarissa Marler is in college now but has led a sheltered life. What happens when, not if... Our story begins 10 years after Ross dies, but instead of being 2006, it's 2022 for obvious reasons. The only cannon is the children of the Marler's and his DOD April 5.

Jackie O' is quoted as saying "First you marry for love. Second you marry for money. Third you marry for companionship." While Holly has married 4 times, we're going to visit her romances first with Roger...second with Detrich Lindsey...and finally with Fletcher.

AU set in the 1980s.

This is set in late 1993 and early 1994 and is unconnected to the other story I wrote in the same time period. Roger's been shot and Holly's the only one he can trust.

This is literally just a super fast series of happy endings for Holly (one for Roger, one for Fletcher and one for Holly by herself—there is not one for Ed because frankly, I'm not that creative). It's a trio of one shots and they're not in listed order but it'll be obvious very early on which is which. The first is the shortest.

This story, as the title suggests bridges the gap between When the Universe Collides and Walk Away Joe. It does not follow any GL cannon, but I hope is enjoyable none the less.

This story is a prequel to "When the Universe Collides" and then "Walk Away Joe" It's my imagination of the Meredith, Rick, Phillip triangle of 1988-though no specific time line is given. The story does NOT follow any GL cannon. It is completely imagined by me, but uses some of the major players in the story. Enjoy.
