Author's Note: I am Handicapped with Aspergers, Dyslexia, OCD, ADHD and a whole lot more so please bare that in mind if my spelling is off. I use spell checker. I also have a slight mental disability so please excuse any mistakes. I do the best I can with writing these stories and trying to post chapters. Also, I am a very sick person so there will be periods where I don't update. But ALL my stories will be updated eventually.

Also, when I come up with a story idea, I can't stop myself from writing it down and posting it. I literally can't sleep to I have written it down. So that is why there are so many stories.

At the moment I am having problems with my brain chemistry and it is hard to write for my older stories even through I know where they are going. So please, please hang on in there. I haven't abandoned ANY of my stories. But with my brain chemistry problem and my Mum's deteriorating health everything has been crazy.

Happy 31st Birthday too me! Also, Happy 57th Birthday to my Dad!

Enjoy!

Introduction

D'Artagnan is hiding a secret. That he fears his new Brothers would hate him or be in fear of him for. He is not human. He is a werewolf. That has to transform regularly if he doesn't want to hurt people or lose his mind. Only Treville knows his secret. So, when his Brothers go missing on a mission Treville sends him to find them and bring them home. Will his Brothers accept him for who he truly is? Would they trust him to be able to protect them?

Chapter 1: Start Of It All

D'Artagnan knew he was basically betraying the trust his Brothers had in him by keeping his deepest and darkest secret to himself. He knew they deserved to know. But he couldn't bring himself to tell them. He just kept thinking they would hate him. Even though he had no control of what he was.

He wasn't human and hadn't been for as long as he could remember.

At a young age he had gotten lost in the forest near home when he had been attacked and bitten by a wolf. But it wasn't an ordinary wolf. It was a werewolf.

He had been saved by a pack of werewolves and bought home where one of his saviours explained to his parents what their child now was going to be for the rest of his life.

He had been 5-Years-Old!

One of the women who saved him became his mentor and second Mother. She explained everything he would need to know about being a Werewolf and her pack did all they could to help the child learn to be a Good Werewolf.

Facts about Werewolves were mostly wrong in many ways he had learnt. First of they didn't need the Full Moon to transform. They could transform whenever they wanted but couldn't change back to the next Moon sets. So, if he transformed during the day then he had to wait for that night's moon to set to be able to transform back.

There were two types of werewolves, those that were bitten and those that were born. Born werewolves happened when both their parents were werewolves.

Another fact is that if werewolves didn't transform regularly then they became dangerous and their minds became unstable. They could also be forced to change no matter where they were.

Werewolves healed a lot faster and they aged slower. They could transform/infect someone with a bite. If someone was close to dying and they were bitten then it would save the person's life. But the bite bought on some pain and a nasty fever till they are fully changed.

When a Werewolf bites someone they become responsible for them. But in D'Artagnan's case he had a surrogate creator.

Werewolves even in human form had heightened senses and had more endurance and strength. They could also run faster than anything. They also had their own unique fur and some said the colder of the wolf's fur reflected their true nature.

When they were the wolf, they would normally hunt and eat their kills right then and there. But also, in human life they liked their meat rare.

They were also normally pack animals. But D'Artagnan had moved on from his pack and had gone out solo. Especially when his Father was killed and D'Artagnan didn't have time to transform to save him.

Going after Athos didn't go as planned. As when he caught the 'real' Athos's scent he knew the man hadn't been the one to kill his Father. But after everything that happened, he decided to help clear the man's name. His wolf instincts were telling him Athos as well as Porthos and Aramis were his pack. Even after only just meeting them his wolf side wanted them as Brothers and wanted to protect him.

Even through in time D'Artagnan believed they were protecting him. Oh, how wrong they were. D'Artagnan appreciated the sentiment through. But he had to make excuses to his disappearing some nights when they had asked him to join them for drinks.

But they didn't know that it was nearly impossible for Werewolves to get drunk on human spirits. They had to have their alcohol especially made for their metabolism.

Another fact was that Werewolves were graceful when they ran and could run or walk in a way that didn't leave many tracks. Even when injured werewolves had the ability if they were skilled enough and D'Artagnan was that skilled.

He also had to be careful with any injuries he got as he would heal faster than a human and they could make them question everything.

But D'Artagnan HAD to keep everything a secret. The other side of him a secret. Not only because he didn't want his Brothers to hate him or be scared of him. He knew Werewolves had been hunted before and killed for being 'agents' of the devil. Which was a lot of crap. Yes, there were bad werewolves but there was also good. Much like humans.

D'Artagnan knew that those Werewolf hunters were the ones that inexperience werewolves feared and so did some experienced. Werewolf Hunters were notorious for their hatred of Werewolves and how they wanted to wipe the 'devils' minions from the earth.

That was another reason to keep his secret, secret. Even though he was sure his Three Brothers weren't Werewolf Hunters. He didn't know how they would react to learning about him. He was worried about Aramis who was a man that was devoted to God and could very well see him as someone at the least he shouldn't be around and at the worse someone who he needed to deal with. But D'Artagnan couldn't see the man doing either to him. But his fears kept him silent.

Porthos, he didn't know how he would feel. At the moment D'Artagnan had been holding about in his Hand-to-Hand combat training not wanting to hurt the large man. D'Artagnan believed their might be werewolves in the Court of Miracles. As when he went to save Porthos he had smelt them. But it was unknown if Porthos knew about them or what he thought of them.

Athos he was terrified to find out what he thought of Werewolves. And D'Artagnan could literally break if Athos of all people ended up hating him for it. He would also break if he saw disgust in Athos eyes or even fear.

They had become so close that D'Artagnan knew he might not keep his control if his Brothers hated him for a condition, he didn't get a choice in being infected with.

D'Artagnan had made a vow when he was young to not bite anyone without their consent. And even then, he wasn't sure he would be able to do it.

But in the last few months getting close to the Inseparables and becoming one of them had him question whether if his new Brothers were badly injured enough that they would die, whether he would disregard his promise and turn them to save their lives. But D'Artagnan believed if he did that, they would hate him and that he would condemn them to this life.

D'Artagnan did like the perks of being a Werewolf. But some of the traits he truly hated.

As a Werewolf D'Artagnan did actually like being but he believed he was condemned to hell when he died.

He hoped helping protect people and give justice by being a Musketeer would help him earn some redemption.

He knew his Brothers demons. But they didn't know his.

They thought they were condemned. But he believed they weren't and he was.

They believed they had to protect him being their 'Little' Brother, but they didn't know that he was stronger than all of them put together.

They were loyal to him. But they didn't know with his wolf side that his loyalty to them was stronger. As he saw them, even as humans, as his pack and he would literally die for them if he had too.

Good thing Werewolves were difficult to kill.

Maybe being difficult to kill would be a good thing…
