It was the first week of September at Madison's hometown. The weather was still warm but to Madison, she knew that in one of the weeks, the leaves will begin to change and autumn will soon come. And hopefully the temperature will dropped soon.

One day, while her parents were out to work and Madison have the house to herself, she looked around the house to see that it's a little messy but a lot dusty. So, to her thoughts, she decided to clean, but with some help. Madison checked every window to see if anyone in the neighborhood is out and all, but thankfully, there aren't many neighbors out there. Madison smiled and went back in her room to see her Bearded Dragon, lying down on top of his log, feeling the warmth from his lamp. He looked up to see his mistress as she was close to his den.

"Well, Zor. Since my parents are at work and it's just the two of us, I'm gonna do some... easy cleaning. So first, I'll start with your den and then I can give you some leftover steak. Sounds good?"

Zor nods his head up and down so fast. He wouldn't mind for his den to be cleaned and rewarded with some treats. Madison smiled as he agreed. With the wave of her hands, the den looked clean and not filthy anymore. Including his dish bowl. With a snap of her fingers, his dish bowl was now filled with some leftover steaks were like from the fridge. Zor jumped joy and start heating them with his fire breath.

Madison smile and then turned around to start her work. But before she did it, she quickly got to her phone and starts playing some of her music on her playlist. Most of the music were from Disney, movies, or other songs that she liked. Once the music starts, Madison went to the living her room and start snapping her fingers. She watched to see some of the trash had disappeared, dust is now gone, and everything looked neat and straight.

"This is so Mary Poppins only a lot different." she smiled.

As she finished the last room downstairs, there was only one room left for her to clean. Her room. Her room is a tad messy and of course dusty. For the truth, she hadn't been staying at her parents' house because she has been staying with her grandmother's a lot. Once she entered the room, she starts snapping her fingers and waving her hands as the room started its work. But while Madison continued cleaning her with her magic, she suddenly stopped as she heard the next song playing from her phone.

She turned around to see her phone on her bed and heard the song playing "So This is Love". It was from the Cinderella movie. And it was one of Madison's favorite films as a child. She also remembers reading a fairytale book from her childhood. But now listening to it, she now started to think about watching it.

Now that her room was finally cleaned, Madison can now take a break as she got back on the bed. She quickly stopped playing her music and went to Disney Plus on her tv. Zor noticed her television was on and starts chirping for his mistress's attention. Madison looked at his Bearded Dragon and knew what he wanted. She let out a soft smile and quickly got to his den. She gently brought him out and went back to her bed as the movie starts playing.

Madison remembers every part and scene as the movie played, but the part she doesn't like was when the stepsisters tear Cinderella's dress that was actually her mothers. But once she got to the ballroom part, she couldn't take her eyes off from the waltz scene of Cinderella and the prince.

Watching that scene, a flashback came to Madison's mind. Remembering the dance with Alex as she was in the world of Strange Magic. She remembered the look in his eyes that were dreamy, his smile, his voice, his loyalty, and of course... the first kiss they had done together. Zor heard his mistress sigh and purred as he looked at her in concern.

"You would have liked him, Zor." she spoke which the Bearded Dragon looked confused. "Alex, I mean. The one I've been telling you about."

Zor nods his head as he understands who his mistress was talking about and then heard her sigh again.

"I've always wondered if I ever see him again or if he remembers me."

Zor looked at her. He always knew how much his mistress missed him. It would be nice to meet him as well but don't know how he'll meet.

As the two kept on watching the movie, Madison heard something outside that was someone driving by. She already knew that it was the mail truck, who just stopped and then drove off. Madison grabbed the remote and pause the movie as she got up.

"Be right back, Zor." she said to him as she exits her room and went downstairs towards the front door.

She exits the house and walks towards the mailbox. Grabbing a couple out with her hand and went back inside. Looking through them, most of the mail were junk and bills but then stopped at the last mail. It had her name and address, but it didn't show who sent it to her.

Curious to her, Madison set the other mail down on her mother's chair and went upstairs with one in her hand.

"Hey, Zor. I got mail and I don't who's it from." she said as she sat on her bed.

The Bearded Dragon looked at her and looked at the envelope. Madison kept staring at it. She looked at the back and saw a seal with a 'T' but don't know what it means.

"What do you think? Should I open it?" she asked as she looked unsure.

Zor hesitantly nods his and Madison starts opening the envelope. She pulled out a paper and notice that it was a letter and read:

Lady Madison,

I am inviting you to my home at the Tremaine chateau to accompany my daughters: Anastasia and Drizella. After what I've been hearing about your travels on meeting kings and queens from different countries, I would imagine that my daughters would take some inspiration from you. Do come by as we are ready to have your room set, and my maid will try make yourself at home.

Sincerely, Lady Eleanor Tremaine

Madison's eyes grew wide with shock after she finished reading it. Even Zor looked shocked as he heard the name and looked back at the screen to see the picture of the wicked stepmothers.

"Is this for real? Lady Tremaine invites me to go to her home?" Madison questioned as she looked at the letter and then looked at the television. "Why would the villainous, wicked stepmother invite me to her home."

Zor looked at his mistress and chirped as he lifts his tail and points at the moon and sun necklace.

"My necklace? You don't really think that she knows it has magic, do you?" she asked, and Zor just shrugged.

Madison looked both at her necklace and the letter. Still shocked and worry about the option from her Bearded Dragon. She looked up at the screen to see Lady Tremaine but also Cinderella. She smiled as she thought of the idea.

"Well... at least maybe I could help Cinderella. Maybe give her a secretly extra hand on her chores with the stepfamily notice." she said and Zor nods to the agreement. "We should go then. Plus, I do need to pack some things."

Zor watched his mistress got off the bed and brought her suitcase. Luckily, he has to move out of the way but watched his mistress packing. She packed her magic book, and then some clothes as they were covering it. That's pretty much a lot and don't know how long of the stay. But then she zipped the suitcase out and brought a small travel bag that was perfect for Zor. The Bearded Dragon chirped as he was questioning her.

"Yes, I'm taking you with me. Besides, who would scare the wits out of that cat, Lucifer?" she smiled, and Zor gurgled as he was laughing. "But remember this. Do not attack or eat any of the mice. They are Cinderella's friends. Understand?"

The Bearded Dragon nod his head and then used his tail and made a cross on his chest, meaning that he crossed his heart.

"Good." said Madison and then she along with Zor heard a knock. "Wait here. I'll be right back."

Madison went down the stairs again and looked at the window from the door. To her surprise, it was a limo. She quickly opened the door and saw a man, who is dressed nicely but has a cap on. Knowing that it was a driver.

"Yes?" Madison spoke as she looked at him.

"Hello. Could this be... the home of Lady Madison?"

"It is and I am Lady Madison."

"I am here to take you to Tremaines. As it was said on the letter."

"Of course. My bags are in my room. Wait here and I'll be right back."

Madison slowly closed the door but quickly ran up the stairs to her room.

"Zor. The driver's here. We gotta go."

The Bearded Dragon crawled to the travel bag and scurried down in as he was getting comfortable. Madison gently placed the bag around her shoulder and grabbed her suitcase.

"You ready?" she asked, and Zor nods his head.

She walked back down the stairs again and opened the front door. The driver was still there as he was waiting for, but as he noticed she was out, he gently grabbed the suitcase from her.

"Follow me, miss." he spoke.

Madison closed and locked the door behind her and starts following the driver as they for close to the limo. The driver already put her suitcase in the trunk and went to the side of the limo to open the door for her.

"Thank you." she said to him and went in.

Zor has his head popped out and looked around as he was in the limo. It does looks luxurious and there were some snacks for Madison to eat. But once the driver starts moving the limo, Madison starts hanging as she and Zor felt the movement.

Madison start snacking a little on the sweets until she noticed her necklace was glowing. And for a moment not too soon, she felt something strange around her. The snacks in front of her starts shaking and everything started to glow around her. Zor quickly went back inside the bag and Madison closed her eyes until... everything went white.
