"Ugh, where am I?" Anxelin groaned as her hazel eyes fluttered and opened. The girl felt a little dizzy as she rose to her feet, and looked up at the ceiling. She let out a shriek and immediately cover her eyes as the bright light shine right in her eyes.

Anxelin partially lifted her hand from her eyes as she took notice of her surroundings. She frowned, noticing that she was in a large room; large enough that it could be a theatre, but without rows of seats.

Another thing that the goth girl noticed was that she looked down at the floor and saw scores of people lying on the ground, including her parents, younger sister, and friends, which stunned her. Anxelin wasn't sure if they were knocked out or asleep.

A plethora of questions ran through Anxelin's mind. First of all, how did she get here? If Anxelin's memory was correct, she and her friends were at the Winter Ball, which was held at Beast's castle as they were celebrating their R.O.A.R win against Sherwood Forest Academy.

In addition, Anxelin remembered when she and her friends were at the punch table, chatting and even betting with them as to if her best friend, Li'l Shang, and his girlfriend, Jamilah, would get married next year.

And that was the last thing the aforementioned girl did before everything suddenly disappeared.

'Ok, ok, ok. How did I get here? When did this happen? Oh God, what's going on?!' Anxelin thought with panic.

Anxelin realized something: she didn't feel itchy at all. In an instant, she stared down at her outfit. She wasn't wearing her black, lacy ball gown(she decided to wear dresses for now) but instead wearing pajamas.

Anxelin furrowed her brow, but at least she was wearing something comfortable, right?

But then again, Anxelin wearing pajamas wasn't going to make the situation any better.

'Ok, what's going on here?' She thought.

Just then, Anxelin heard someone groaning behind her. She turned around and tried to pinpoint where the groan was coming from.

The groan was coming from her mother, Rapunzel.

The goth girl's eyes widened in shock as she started to carefully step over the sleeping figures on the ground, not wanting to step on them as she went over to her mother and help her.

"Mom, are you okay?" Anxelin asked worriedly as she helped Rapunzel to stand.

Rapunzel had her hand on the left side of her head, which throbbed slightly but she gave her elder daughter a small smile.

"Well, other than this minor headache, I'm okay," Rapunzel replied.

Anxelin wasn't entirely convinced by her mom's answer but nodded anyway.

"How about you? Are you alright?" It was Rapunzel's turn to ask as she cupped her daughter's cheek, stroking it gently using her thumb.

Anxelin pursed her lips slightly and replied, "I'm alright, to be honest. But, I'm just completely and utterly confused as to how we ended up here in this large room."

Rapunzel nodded in agreement with her daughter as Rapunzel herself had no idea how she ended up here in this theatre-like room.

"Well then, there's one way to find out," Rapunzel said.

"True, and fast!"

While Anxelin used her hand to comb her mother's long hair, there was a low groan coming from someone, and the two women stared at the ground and found out it was Eugene, followed by Ruby who woke up beside her father feeling a bit dizzy.

Eugene did a few stretches before focusing his attention on his wife and daughters.

"Are you guys alright?" Eugene asked, concern thick in his voice.

"Yes," Anxelin and Rapunzel answered in unison.

Eugene nodded and turned to fix his gaze on his younger daughter.

"How about you, Sweetie?" Eugene asked.

Ruby winced slightly. "Uh, I'm alright, I guess. It's just that I have a little headache."

"Wow, same here!" Rapunzel chimed in.

"But apart from my headache, where are we? What is this place?" Ruby asked, looking around the room.

"I have no idea lil sis, but we're gonna find out soon," Anxelin replied, confident that she would find out.

"Hey!" Ruby exclaimed looking down at her clothes, "Where's my dress? Why am I in pajamas?"

As they heard their daughter, Rapunzel and Eugene looked at their clothes as well. They too were wearing night clothes, which surprised them.

"Okay…." Rapunzel trailed off, "Where's our clothes? Why we're in our night clothes?"

"Ok, now this getting weirder. What's going on?" Eugene asked, no one in particular. There was a twinge of panic in his voice.

No one knows for sure in all honesty, but the truth will come to life soon enough.

What makes matters worse, the windows on both sides of the room had black tints and were covered by drapes, so no one could tell if it was morning, noon, or night.

Shortly after the Fitzherbert Royal family woke up and confused about this whole situation, other people who were asleep woke up. Some got up feeling dizzy or lightheaded.

Anxelin's hazel eyes scanned the room and she spotted some Villain kids(not Mal and her crew) from the Isle. They were here on the other side of the room and they too were wearing pajamas; not the worn and torn pieces of cloth that they were wearing when Anxelin met them a few weeks back.

'At least it was nice to see the Villain kids in better clothes than the ones they were wearing.' Anxelin thought with a tiny smile gracing her lips.

Once everybody in the room was fully awake, like Anxelin and her family, everyone else started to wonder and even panicked about how they found themselves there.

While both Auradonians and Isle kids were discussing amongst themselves about being trapped in this room, Audrey moved away from the others and stood in front of the crowd.

"Alright, people!" Audrey's voice boomed throughout the room as she clapped loud enough to get everyone's attention. And it worked.

As the princess of Auroria got everyone's undivided attention, Audrey spoke.

"Okay," Audrey began, "so I know that everyone is freaking out about this whole situation."

Mal snorted and planted her hands on her waist. "Who wouldn't?"

Audrey narrowed her indigo eyes at the purple-haired girl, which Mal ignored Audrey before continuing with her sentence.

"But, hopefully, we're trying to figure out how we are going get out of this place."

Some people in the crowd murmured in response. Audrey couldn't tell if they were on board or not, while some looked hopeful like Anxelin.

Audrey became annoyed at the crowd because they were hardly paying her attention. So, she asked, "Hello? Has anybody come up with some idea how to get out of this mess?"

Mal rolled her eyes. "How are we going to get out of this mess if we had no idea how we ended up here in this room?"

"I don't know. Don't you have a Magic book to get us out here?"

Mal's mouth gaped, and so did Evie, Jay, and Carlos. She was utterly appalled at Audrey's sentence.

'How did she know I had a Spellbook?' Mal thought.

Little did Mal know, Audrey, before she left and visited her aunts, asked Anxelin to be an undercover spy for her on how Mal wins the hearts and souls of Auradon. Especially Ben. And Anxelin gladly accepted the offer, as she too was suspicious of the daughter of Maleficent.

Mal snapped out of her thoughts after being in a trance for a moment and replied, "My Spellbook isn't a magic book. So I can't find a way to get out of here. Besides, whoever did this, is much stronger than I am."

After listening to Mal's explanation, Audrey huffed. But deep down, she knew that Mal was right; whoever did this was much stronger than Mal.

Fairy Godmother might found a way how to solve this, but the thing is, she doesn't have her wand. So basically, she was powerless as Maleficent without her scepter.

Audrey threw her hands in the air and walked down. She gave up and was hopeless about the whole situation.

Well, at least she tried.

It seems as if this situation was all but hope, as no one had the slightest clue on how they ended up here in this room, especially the Villain kids. They were horrified as to who did this, not to mention that their parents would freak out once they found out they were missing from the Isle.

But no one in the room seemed to notice that there was a figure appeared behind the podium at the front of the room.

This figure had an angelic appearance because of the soft and warm glow emanating from her. She wore a baby blue dress with long sheer sleeves and tiny stars that twinkled each time she made a slight move. The angelic figure had a blue headband nested on her fluffy blonde hair, which matched the dress she wore.

Lastly, the woman had a wand in her dainty hand, a wand that was longer and thinner than Fairy Godmother's, and it had a small glowing star sitting on top of it.

Nobody seemed to notice that the angelic figure was watching them.

Except for Beast, as he glanced away from his wife's and his light blue eyes coincidentally landed on the podium. Beast's eyes widened as he saw who it was.

The Blue Fairy.

"Blu…Blue Fairy!" Beast sputtered out in shock, causing Belle and the other Auradon adults nearby to quickly look up at the fairy.

Blue Fairy gave a short nod and had a content smile gracing her delicate features.

"Hello, Beast," Blue Fairy greeted warmly. Her voice was as smooth as silk.

"So it was you who did all of this?" The former king asked.

"Technically yes," the fairy replied, "but it was the Fates were the ones who came up with this idea. I just put this idea into action."

Beast just stared at her, still in shock. He couldn't believe what he had heard from the fairy.

So all this time when Beast, Belle, and the others who were at the Winter Ball enjoying themselves, the Fates who were behind the shadows came up with a plan to trap the AKs, the VKs, and the Auradon heroes in this room for what? To decide everyone's fate soon? Most likely.

Whatever comments, statements, and questions that Beast had, it had disappeared. He was at a loss for words.

Blue Fairy smiled softly at the baffled former king before shifting her attention to the large crowd in front of her.

"Alright, everyone. You must be wondering why the Fates and I did this."

The majority of the people shouted, 'yes'.

"Very well then, and don't worry about your future," Blue Fairy assured the anxious crowd with a chuckle. "It is sealed. We're not going to the future as yet."

Most people from the crowd breathed a sigh of relief, including Mal.

"However, we're going into the past. The past of the Villain kids that is."

Just as Mal was relieved at the fact that the Fates were not going into the future, she suddenly became lightheaded upon hearing Blue Fairy's second sentence. The tiny hairs on Mal's skin stood stiff.

Ben noticed his girlfriend's actions and took her hand in his, squeezing it gently. Mal turned her head to him and gave him a weak smile before fixing her gaze back to Blue Fairy.

"Anyways, this book," Blue Fairy took up a green-coated book from the podium and held it up high in the air so that everybody from the front like Ben and Mal to the back like Audrey and Chad can see properly. "will tell you the details on how the Villain kids lived on the Isle."

Mal shuddered at the fact that this book would be read loud and clear to everyone who knew, that is the VKs and who doesn't know, that is the Auradonians about the things that she and her friends went through but mostly Mal.

Meanwhile, Evie started to fidget with her fingers as Jay looked up at the ceiling and was startled to whistle hoping that no one would notice, and Carlos held Dude closer to his chest.

Lonnie raised her hand as the fairy placed the book back on the podium and asked, "Blue Fairy, what is the name of the book and is it nighttime like how we're wearing pajamas?"

The fairy smiled at the daughter of Mulan.

"Those are good questions, Ms. Li. The book is titled: Isle of the Lost. And as for your second question, the Fates decided that everything should be stated in the night. So yes, it is nighttime."

"So if it's nighttime, what time is it currently and how come we're not tired?" Anxelin asked as her family moved further up in the room.

"Because when I teleported all of you guys and were knocked out, I placed an anti-sleeping spell on all of you until the book is completed," Blue Fairy replied. "As for what time it is, there's no time. It's infinite."

"So…constant night?" Anxelin guessed.

Blue Fairy nodded. "Yes."

Anxelin's shoulders slumped. Great.

There was silence looming in the room for a moment until it was broken by Freddie.

"Ok, while it's nice that we're stuck in here in this room, the real question I'm about to ask is, where's the food? I'm starving here." Freddie looked around the room before her light brown eyes glued on the fairy. Everyone else agreed with the daughter of Dr. Facilier.

Blue Fairy laughed softly. "That's the best question I've heard. Your wish is my command."

Blue Fairy lifted her left hand while holding the wand and waved. The petite star on the wand started to glow softly, working its magic.

As the fairy began to use her wand, there were long tables of snacks suddenly appeared on the right side of the room where the VKs were, not to mention that there were crates of bottled fruit drinks and bottled water on one of the tables.

Luckily for Harriet, she had a small bottle of cheap whiskey in her pajama pants pocket.

Not only Blue Fairy made the snack tables appear, dozens of bean bag chairs appeared behind the Auradonians and the Villain kids as they settle themselves in the chairs, feeling comfortable. Finally, now they can sit comfortably, instead of sitting on the cold, tiled floor.

As the Villain kids saw the snacks on the table, their mouths became watery, as if they were the lion spotting its prey. They got up and were about to take up every amount of snacks available(and understandably so, they were from the Isle after all) when they were stopped by Blue Fairy.

"Uh, uh, uh," Blue Fairy wagged her finger at the hungry VKs. "You have to wait."

Some of the VKs started to complain and went back to their seats. Blue Fairy called Cinderella, Snow White, Tiana, and Rapunzel to serve the snacks and drinks to everyone in the room. And they gladly obliged.

Once everyone was served, including Blue Fairy herself, she asked, "Okay, is everybody settled?"

"Yes, Blue Fairy," the crowd answered in unison as if Blue Fairy was the teacher and the Auradonians and the Isle kids were obedient students. But some of the kids from both places were students.

The angelic fairy smiled warmly at them as she took up the book.

"Alright then, shall we begin?" Blue Fairy said as she opened the book, skipped a couple of introduction pages, and started to read out loud.
