Chapter 1: Setting up the Stage

There I was FastBuilderMan waiting for a ship to Pufflefluffia, the home planet of my client. You are probably wondering why I'm here at this moment, right? Well it started with me at my desk in my detective agency. The scene switches from narration to shown. "Ding," went the computer."

"Oh an email," said FastBuilderman. "I wonder who it's from?" Fastbuilderman reads the email out loud. "Hello, FastBuilderman from FastBuilderman (The Wolf-Hybrid)'s Detective agency. I found that you may help me with my problem. The thing is my mother has been killed by an unknown killer 25 years ago. The popo here couldn't solve the mystery. I found your ad and thought maybe you can help. If you agree, I will have to send a ship to Earth as this case will be on another planet named Pufflefluffia. Sincerely. Potion and I am a Kittydog species."

"Hmm," I said to myself. "This is interesting. A case from another planet? This I got to do." He replied to the email with a yes I'll do it and where to send the ship. The scene switches to the present. "So now you are caught up, let's continue the story." The ship then appears in my sight and lands right in front of me. I then hopped into it and let it do the rest. The ship then took me to Pufflefluffia. I was riding the ship for at least 3 Earth hours and then the planet appeared. "Wow! That is a cool looking planet." The ship landed where Potion was waiting for me.

"Ah," said Potion. "You must be FastBuilderMan."

"That's Detective FastBuilderMan to you," I responded. "And who may I be speaking to?"

"My name is Potion," Answered Potion. "I am the one who emailed you."

"Great," I replied. "Tell me a bit more about your situation."

"Oh right," said Potion. "My mom is named Crystal Sprinkles and was preparing a meal for me then next thing I know, she's gone with a note."

"Can I see this note," I questioned. Potion gave me the note and I inspected it very carefully. "Well, that's a note alright but there is a flaw in it."

"How so," questioned Potion.

"Well," I answered. "I just noticed you have a crown. Are you a royal Kittydog?"

"Yes," answered Potion.

"Is there any importance to it," I questioned Potion."

"Well," answered Potion. "We are kinda born with it and only the owner of those crowns can have special powers."

"Great," I exclaimed. "That proves why the note is flawed. I have a belief that Crystal has not been murdered but kidnapped."

"What!" exclaimed Potion.

"This is because of the crown," I said. "Obviously her kidnapper wants this power for themselves and the only way is to keep her alive until they figure it out. "Potion was filled with relief that her mom may not be dead after all. I knew I couldn't confirm this yet without more clues and evidence but I had no idea where to look next. "I really hope you know where we should go next to search for clues because I have no idea where."

"That is something I might be able to help you with," said a stranger. Me and Potion turned around to see who it was. I had no idea who this was but Potion seemed to know. Potion then looked at me with confusion. They had that impression of oh yeah I got to show you something kind of look. They showed me a picture of Crystal and I looked back at the stranger and was still confused.

"I'm still very confused," I said.

"Just follow me," said the stranger. "And I'll explain why I look like Crystal but with pink fur and horns." So that's what we did. This was only just the beginning.

Who is this stranger? Why do they look a lot like Crystal? Where are we going? Is Crystal really dead? I guess who would have to find out in the next chapter.
