It was a big day for everyone at Sakuragoaka High School. It had been an all girls school for decades now, but this year, they had decided to try out a Co-Ed program. It was mainly a test run as it was something the school had never done before. 20 young men were enrolled into it to start. One of these young pupils was Kieran Gecko, a young transfer student from Shining Horizons High School in Canada.

"So, this is Sakuragoaka High School" he thought to himself as he approached the school. He had heard great things about it and was excited to check out it's Light Music Club. Kieran always had a passion for music, especially rock. His favorite bands consisted of Iron Maiden,
Metallica, Black Sabbath, Judas Priest and Queen. He had took a crash course on the Japanese language before traveling there too, just to make sure he could properly communicate with people there. He sighed, feeling tired as he entered the large building.

As he walked through the halls, he looked around absentmindedly at class numbers, trying to find where he was gonna be going. Meanwhile,
a young girl was running through the hallway. She had long-ish brown hair with an light orange hairpiece. Neither of them were paying attention to where they were going and as a result ended up smacking headlong into eachother and falling backwards onto the floor.

"Ow, watch it!" shouted the girl.

Kieran stammered nervously. "S-Sorry, Miss" he said. "I-I didn't mean to-".

"Ugh, it's fine" she said, cutting him off while chuckling. She stood up and noticed how much he was shaking. "Wow, you're THAT flustered?" she laughed. "I'm Ritsu Tainaka. You're one of those new Co-Ed boys, right?".

Kieran nodded and stood up. "I'm Kieran Gecko" he said.

Ritsu smiled. "Hey, you're on Sawa-chan's attendance list. That means we're in the same class" she said.

"Well, then. I'm glad you're not pissed at me. I wouldn't wanna make an enemy on my first day" he replied.

Ritsu chuckled. "Yeah". She thought for a moment. "Hey, you should join the Light Music Club. We'd love a new member to add to the group".

Smiling, Kieran said, "Actually, I was thinking about doing just that. It's one of the reasons I enrolled here".
