I stole Mrs Cosie from The Worst Witch '98 series changed her into a hobbit and made her npc. Cos I could. aiming for weekly/ twice a week updates,( i forgot to post on here as well which is why you're getting three at once). lots of chapters but very short, not as short as this first one but no vedis.
Apologise for my characterisation of Taako. He sounds like he's just being a real jerk at first but it becomes clear latte why. Sorry, later!

"Oh! Thank you. Well I have a lecture today at two o'clock so-?" Angus said. He was also going to say he could start this evening or tomorrow.

But the halving shop owner squealed in delight.

"Oh Excellent! If you can lend us a hand, mage or otherwise, for just half hour or so, and that'll be a big help with the lunch time rush! You're hired, dearie! I'll get you a Pinny and a uniform. We're short-handed right now, what with Gora'thien the Blood-Soaked being away. His mum's not well, bless him. How fast can you scrub a baking tray, do you know?"

And just like that, Angus had a side job.
