A crush on Laura

It was a few days after their second field study when Jusis woke up with a weird feeling. It was like he realised something his subconscious knew for a while.

I have a crush on Laura…

He looked around his room but everything seemed normal.

So I'm not just dreaming … I really fell in love.

He stood up and walked over to the window and looked outside. The sun was not yet fully risen and he couldn't see anyone walking through the city.

Laura… Hmm. She is indeed absolutely beautiful and if she would enter now my room… I would tell her …

He stopped in the middle of his thought and turned around because somebody was knocking on his door.

"Who is there?" he asked surprised and a little bit dismissive.

Laura's voice answered: "It's Laura… Do you have some time?"

Laura… Why do you come right now to me?

He hesitated for a few seconds than he answered: "I have some time… Come in!"

A moment later she stood in front of him and because of what he just thought he felt now extremely nervous.

"What do you want?" He asked and tried to put his thoughts together.

She smiled and said without any hesitation: "I want to fight you later after class!"

He asked more confused than nervous: "Why?"

She said directly: "You are a sword man… I want to test my blade against you!"

He nodded.

Okay that made sense… She truly loves her sword and was always eager to challenge herself. Of course she wasn't interested in him or anything like this.

He stayed silence for a moment and just thought how sad his situation was, when she suddenly asked: "What's up you seem to be upset?"

He looked back at her and said without thinking: "I think I have a crush on you!"

Immediately after saying this he realised what he just openly admitted. He blushed at once and turned away back to the window. "I'm sorry this was inappropriate of me!"

It stayed for a while silence and he thought already she just left his room.

After a while he said with a sad voice: "You can just say directly that you don't feel the same things… I think I will survive such an answer!"

He couldn't see her face and therefore he couldn't see the smile which now appeared on her face.

He felt right now horrible. This was the first time he ever fell in love and of course the girl he fell for was not interested at all in him. She only loved her sword or maybe she even already had a boyfriend he just didn't knew about. Maybe someone back in her home town of Legram.

Man I am sooo unlucky …

Because it continues to stay so silent he assumed she already left his room. That's why he whispered now: "Dammit now everything will be awkward between us… Why did I had to be soo honest?"

He turned around and at the same time he saw that she was still standing behind him she said: "I like you too… Maybe I even have similar feeling like you."

Laura… Really? Do you also love me?

He asked again something without thinking a second. "Do you love me too?"

She blushed now and looked though this even cuter than normally. "I don't know… It just happened and I never before felt something like this." He smiled and hugged her then. "Oh Laura… Can I kiss you now?"

She looked at him for a moment with wide open eyes, then she nodded. He tried to stay cool and moved his head then closer to her mouth. When their lips nearly touched he whispered: "I love you Laura!" To his joy she replied: "I love you too Jusis!"

Then they kissed for the first time.

A few kissed later he asked her: "Do you want to be now my girlfriend Laura?"

She laughed and nodded immediately.

"Of course I want this! And you do you want to be my boyfriend?"

He nodded without hesitation and smiled broadly.

They looked deep into each other eyes and kissed then again intensely.
