I present the TRUE Kagura Hearts!
This version won't poke fun at Senran Kagura, and will NOT break the 4th Wall, and will feature an original story for the crossover, taking place after Kingdom Hearts III and before Kingdom Hearts IV. And for the Senran Kagura Canon, it will take place sometime AFTER Senran Kagura: Estival Versus.

Chapter 1 ~ Kingdom Hearts III.8
Sora, the Keyblade Wielder who used the mysterious weapon known by a few as the Keyblade, traveled through many worlds and after many adventures, finally bested his archenemy, Xehanort. But in the defeat of Organization XIII came a painful sacrifice: Kairi, Sora's dearest friend. The battle, despite the change in Xehanort's heart, felt hollow for Sora, who couldn't truly live without knowing Kairi was alright. And so, he used the Power of Waking, one of the Keyblade Master's most risky powers, to jump through time and save Kairi…
…at the cost of his own existence in the Realm of Light.
Kairi and many of Sora's friends attempt to track him down, trying to bring him back home to Destiny Islands, but as they struggle, Sora's existence is taken to a world within another reality called Quadratum…
However my friends, THIS story takes place BEFORE Sora's imprisonment in Quadratum. And so, we are taken to the Realm of Limbo, where the dead are taken before judgment can be passed, where darkness conspires for the hero to be eternally lost in death…
…and where Sora regains the courage to live again, thanks to the friends he made in the world, "Where Mountains Collide"...
Slowly walking through a realm of starlight and water, Sora thought he was in the Final World again. He felt it was fitting since he was there the last time he died, and with his existence sacrificed for Kairi, it made perfect sense to disappear in that realm as he was about to when he first arrived…
But it wasn't his time, as a light suddenly shined in his path and called out to him…
"Lingering Spirit, do not give in just yet."
Surprised by the talking ball of light, Sora had to ask, "...who are you? Could you be…Chirithy?" The light answered, "Actually no…I am a Summoner. And while trying to summon a spirit to save my world, I happened to find you, one who has just passed away…you are 'Sora' of Destiny Islands, correct?" Sora replied, "Y-yes, but I don't see why you would tell me not to give in. I mean…look at me, I'm…I gave everything I am to save someone I loved…and I'll never see her again." The light however said, "Interesting how you believe that. You see, there IS a way your living soul can be restored."
The Keybearer was surprised by the light's words as it continued, "Peaked your interest, eh? That's to be expected since I helped someone like you out of Limbo just as well…unfortunately, the poor boy was never the same. However, HE failed to regain what was lost to him when he died, but I think YOU can make it with your whole soul intact!"
Sora smiled hopefully and asked, "R-really?! This is-...THIS IS GREAT! I can see Kairi and my friends again?!" The light explained, "Well for them to find you, FIRST you must be in a realm with a living body, mind, AND soul. As long as you're in Limbo, you'll be going nowhere…but here's the fun part: Accept my Summons, and you will be given a temporary form, the same as yours, so no worries, just like I did for Ryoki."
"Ryoki?" Sora asked.
The light explained, "A former spirit from my world. After she was finished with her mission, she actually chose to live among her sisters in a celestial form rather than her original Human form." Sora then asked, "Well…that's an interesting story. So, once I'm…summoned…what do you want me to do?"
"(ahem) Well Sora, my proposal is simple. If you can save my world from Four Fiends, your existence will be restored in a Living Realm!" The light explained.
Sora thought for a second and asked, "Well, I had experience with unusual monsters and evil villains, but is that really it? How will destroying 4 enemies resurrect me from Limbo?" The light then answered, "The realm of the dead may seem like the final chapter to some, Sora, but there HAS been a time or more when certain spirits have argued with the rules, and wanted a second chance in the living world. Back then, those spirits had to break a few rules to get what they wanted, but after the last hundred got their wishes and were granted another chance at life, Limbo officials decided to set up a few rules and limits in case another spirit required a second chance. Your form in my world WILL be as it was when you disappeared from your reality, so don't worry about losing any tricks. The body will also be adorned with a Halo, can't exactly let you wander around Limbo for free after all, everything has a price tag, and until you accomplish your duty, you're shelved, sonny."
"So…I'll be an Angel?" Sora asked.
The light answered, "-Without Wings, the correct term for you would have to be 'Summon'. Sorry my boy, but as I said, Rules and Limits are the price you must pay to get a Second Chance. So…will you agree?"
Sora sighed and said, "...One way or another, I have to find my way back to Kairi and the others. My 'death' was a cheap shot, and if I'm going to die, it'll be because I intended it! Ball of light, I'll save your world!" The light went up and down in joy, almost like it was dancing around Sora in celebration as the voice cheered, "THANK YOU SO MUCH! My dear boy, you are a diamond in the rough if I ever saw one! My Granddaughter is going to LOVE you!" Sora was somewhat confused by the light's mention, so it explained, "Oh, my granddaughter, she's someone you have to meet…in fact, you will be making a lot of friends in my world, I'm sure of it!"
Sora smiled and said, "I'll be on my best behavior if I ever meet her." The light then said, "I'm sure you will, just try not to break her heart, OR YOU'LL ANSWER TO ME!" Sora shook in terror from the light's threat, so he said, "I-I promise, no hearts will be broken! If anything, I save more than I break anyway."
The light then chuckled and said, "By the way, it wouldn't hurt your chances to make new friends in my world, bonding with new friends, maybe even new love interests, could earn you your ticket back to the living world. So just keep in mind that not every mission is won through bloodshed alone, missions can be completed with the aid of others, especially those whose hearts you've touched. Can I count on you, Sora?"
Sora proudly nodded, "Either way, I would save your world, mam. I wouldn't be a great Summon if I didn't answer my master's call after all." The light then said, "Such a sweetheart…NOW, no more dilly dallying, FOLLOW THE LIGHT!"
The sky suddenly lit up as if the morning sun was rising to greet him, and as Sora looked above, he failed to notice the water he was walking on change into a small shrine…
Sora then noticed where he was as several torches lit up around him, and lit a pathway away from the very shrine he was standing on…
He followed the lit pathway, and soon found himself on a beach. The sight was breathtaking as he saw the vast ocean, making him look back on the memories he had as a boy on Destiny Islands. So many memories were flowing through his mind as he became lost in the beach's beauty…
"Welcome to the tropical beach of the Forest of Requiem, Servant of Sayuri."
As Sora questioned where the voice was coming from, someone tapped him from behind…
"Sayuri…IS ME! Welcome, Keyblade Master Sora."
An old woman with a red scarf and a LONG pipe gave a kindly smile to Sora, making Sora relax a little while asking, "So…YOU'RE my summoner, huh?" Sayuri nodded and said, "You sir are correct, now come along, whipper snapper, we've got so much to talk about on the boat ride to the mainland." Sayuri then tugged him by the wrist to follow her as she took him to a boat, where three girls awaited her…
"Master Sayuri! The boat is cleaned and prepped for your safe return to Kabukicho!" said a loud girl with brown hair in a twin-tails hairstyle. Sora then approached the girl and bowed to her, "You must be Miss Sayuri's granddaughter! It's a pleasure to meet you-."
"-Hey, dude, what are you doing?! I'm not her Granddaughter!" The twin-tailed girl said.
Sayuri then explained, "Forgive me, my boy, but my granddaughter is not here, these 3 are my apprentices, the Mikagura Sisters. They tend to my needs and services when I require them, they make fine servants if I do say so myself. The big sister is Renka, the loudmouth you've confused for my Granddaughter." Renka puffs her cheeks in frustration and confirms who she was, "Y-yeah, the name's Renka, pleasure to meet you and all that."
Sora then looks over to the second sister, a short-haired girl with green eyes, and gently bows, not wanting to cause another commotion like with Renka…
"Hey, what's with the silent treatment? LET'S CELEBRATE THE BIRTH OF A NEW SHINOBI! C'MERE, BIG GUY!"
The girl openly gives Sora a big and welcoming hug while Sayuri explained, "This loud and proud sister is Hanabi. She's a little slow, but knows everything about explosives, especially…"
Suddenly, a small roll of lit firecrackers spooked Sora as the loud crackling and sparks had Sora dancing like a scared monkey!
Hanabi walked over to Sora and patted him on the shoulder while explaining, "Sorry about that, I was saving this little guy and a few other Fireworks for a festival." Sora's eyes lit up in astonishment from what Hanabi said, and asked, "You…CAN MAKE FIREWORKS?! HOLY-THAT'S AWESOME! Do you make Fireworks for the 4th of July? The New Years? What kind do you have?!" Hanabi proudly answered, "Sounds like somebody's got an activity to enjoy while on the boat! I'll show ya my little babies as soon as we make our way-."
"HEY. NEW MEAT."
Sora and the others looked at the younger sister, who stepped up to Sora and said, "In case you've forgotten, you got a job to do, so pick a place on the boat and sit your ass down." Sora then said, "Um…OK? What's the kid's problem?" Sayuri guided Sora onto the boat and explained, "This one is the younger Mikagura Sister, Kafuru. Adorable little thing, isn't she?" Kafuru then said, "-Here's a tip, addressing me in such a way will confirm you're sexist." Sora however said, "Hey kid, where I'm from, Women can kick my ass as well as the next Titan! To me, you're just as capable as any fighter I know." Kafuru then said, "Well-...thank you…you're still a chump, but…I appreciate it."
"Let's make haste everyone, by now, Asuka will be having some trouble with those pesky Heartless." Sayuri said. Sora looked onward and said, "...summoned to another world to fight the Heartless? I guess some things never change…"
