bopdog111: Several things. Let's start with the change regarding canon events meaning Lightning. He will stay an antagonist in this version but make no mistake everyone their still won't be the third season where Ai becomes the villain. Then we taken account Nyx's less then satisfied character, Yugo, and Ai being more comedic with them before more duels from characters who dueled real less, Ai won't be the only one escaping Cyberse World from the Knights of Hanoi, and much others. Firewall Dragon will also be used more as well.

"Come on!"
A yellow eyed black digital being having purple lines was holding the hand of a blue female version of him with dark blue lines, and lighter blue eyes with tear dropped shaped hair was floating fast away from a mechanical red gold like dragon with green eyes roaring in a flaming land somewhere in a digital network as the black being cried, "Evasive action!"
The two quickly avoided getting chomped by the dragon.
"What about the others?" the female blue digital being asked him.
"They'll be okay we gotta take the key to Cyberse World with us so the Knights of Hanoi won't hurt them!" the male digital being told her, "As long as we have the Key they'll be safe!"
"Well, as long as..." she started before her eyes widened. "Look out!"
Hearing that he looked over too late to find the dragon reached him, and before he can avoid he got chomped down reducing him to just an eye form floating amass. He heard a scream as the blue digital being suffered the same fate. The male being concentrated before data entered both the two vanishing along with the Dragon leaving four different color lights trapped.
Meanwhile...
A cloaked masked man ran over yelling, "Find those Ignis, and bring them to me!"
"Yes sir!" another masked man saluted hearing that.
"Ryoken what happened?" a man in a scientist uniform asked him.
The first man responded, "We've been locked out of Cyberse World by the WATER, and DARK Ignises. We are hunting for them right now father."
"Two of them escaped?" the scientist questioned.
"Yes, and to make things worse they sealed Cyberse World from us, and they got the key." the first man responded.
"Then finding them is our top priority." the scientist mentioned.
"Exactly my mission." the first man agreed starting his hunt.
Years later...
A blue, and purple haired boy wearing a black school uniform had just finished school. His name was Yusaku Fujiki, a 16 year old young man. He may not look like much but he is more special then you might think. He has a mission he has to complete, and that is gonna happen. But he isn't doing that alone. He has allies, and friends on his side.
He walked seeing a Food Truck seeing someone reading a newspaper obscuring their identity asking him, "Hi Dad. Where's Mom, and Lilly?"
The man lowered his newspaper. "Your sister is in Link VRAINS, keeping their attention off us while your mother is seeing if he's found any information. So far, nothing."
He is revealed to be a purple haired man having on a purple trench coat, and blue jeans while having black shoes on. His father was none other then Yuri Fujiki, the top student of the well known Duel Academy during the events of the Dimensional War that took place years ago. Lately after the war years back Yuri, and Celina, a fellow resident of the Fusion Dimension both had gotten married, and had a family. But now their also on a mission with their son regarding something painful 10 years back. And they think they found out who was responsible.
Yusaku nodded hearing what his father said before sitting down starting on school work he can do before continuing the mission acing them easily in no more then 5 minutes.
"Hey you guys, you might want to come in here for a second." mentioned a male voice.
Hearing that they looked to see a man having a goatee waving to them. This man was Cal Kolter a man who is more then a food-truck salesman he is also a hacker, and is an ally to them. Sometime back after their mission began they encountered Kolter who said his little brother went through the same thing Yusaku gone through, and they decided to work together.
Deciding to check what Kolter founded out the two entered the food truck.
"Apparently SOL Technologies is in a panic trying to find something on the net. A program of some kind, but that's not the most interesting part." Cal told them. "They're not the only ones looking, so are they."
"The Knights of Hanoi are also looking for them?" Yusaku asked Cal. When he sees Cal nodding he called from his Duel Disk, "Nyx?"
"You called?" asked a female voice a bit younger than his. "What's up?"
"Kolter had just informed us that SOLs is looking for a program. But he also said the Knights might also be looking for them." Yusaku answered to the voice, "If you see any program like what their looking for tell us."
"Got it, I'll keep my eyes open." she mentioned.
"Be careful sis." Yusaku told the voice.
"Aren't I always big brother?" she asked innocently.
Yusaku hanged up from that.
"Still amazes me she manages to be a Charisma Duelist." Cal admitted.
"She enjoys it, and with everything going on we need to find joy in what we can." Yuri mentioned.
Yusaku walked out before looking at a big screen TV where it shows of a girl. It was a young girl with pure black hair wearing a dark purple dress that was sparkling as though it were covered in stars, black fingerless gloves and boots, along with very dark blue eyes and a small smile.
Seeing her Yusaku softly smiled as an MC called, "And once more the top third Charisma Duelist, Nyx had won a match against a random foe with a high degree of Fusion! Congratulations Nyx!"
"The night's still young, does anyone else want a turn?" she inquired to the crowd with an inviting smile.
That made the crowd cheered as the MC called, "Well no worries everyone cause tonight she, along with the two others," He gestured to a screen where it shows of a white attire girl with blue hair, a tattoo on her face, and wings was on waving, "the Second Best Charisma Duelist, Blue Angel!" Then to another screen where a tanned grinning man wearing a golden harness was, "And the number one top Charisma Duelist, George Gore or the Gore will all take center stage tonight in one epic battle for the ages!"
The crowd all cheered excitedly at that. Yuri looked before smiling seeing this.
Meanwhile...
"So your reports are telling us that the two Ignis are somewhere close?" a huge Bishop Chess Piece like hologram that glows as he speaks talking to a blue suited man with blue hair having a teal tuff on it in a room.
"Yes, but we haven't been able to locate their exact location." the man answered. "We're searching extensively as we speak."
"Do what you can. Your reports, and searches have not failed us yet Zaizen, and let's hope you can keep that streak going." the Bishop Chess said to him. That was before he added, "And if needed be we have given you permission to do the City Scan software to find them."
"Of course." Akira nodded bowing only to frown. "Bishop sir, permission to say something?"
"Granted." the piece revealed his name as Bishop answered.
"If the Ignis are this large a threat, shouldn't we cooperate with them?" Akira inquired. "Even now the Leo Corporation is still one of the most powerful companies in any of the dimensions and with the Knights of Hanoi becoming more active we need allies more than ever."
"Perhaps we can... But the Leo Corp. had already done enough for us." Bishop answered Akira. That was when he said, "The Lancers, Pendulum Summoning, all of them was their own problem. We don't need to bother them for our own problems."
"I understand, we'll find them." Akira nodded.
With that the room vanished leaving Akira alone as he walked back in a control room where a woman holding a clipboard with green hair in pigtails turned to him, "Akira! We're currently looking everywhere for those two Ignis right now!"
"Expand the search, and prepare the City Scan." Akira told her.
"City Scan?" the woman asked shocked, "But... But we have an event with Gore, Blue Angel, and Nyx tonight!"
"I know, but locating the Ignis takes top priority." Akira told her.
The woman grunted before nodding, "Yes sir." She told everyone in the room, "Prepare the City Scan! Have it running, and double the efforts to locate the Ignis at once!"
"Affirmative!" an employee called.
Back at the truck...
Yusaku was keeping an eye on the screen before noticing someone walking over, "Hey Mom. How did it go?"
"Nothing, we might be keeping our identities hidden but the Knights of Hanoi are doing the same thing." the woman mentioned walking over to him. "Declan and the others aren't having any luck."
The woman has indigo hair wearing a red jacket with a purple tank top underneath having blue jeans on with white sneakers. This was Celina Fujiki, Yusaku's mother, and Yuri's wife.
From what she said the two grunted before Cal decided to start something, "By the way... You three heard of Data Storms?"
"Data storms?" Yuri inquired as Celina glanced at the screen where Nyx was blushing slightly and talking to Blue Angel.
"Yeah. There are these storms duelists can ride call Speed Duels. It's a bit similar to this Turbo Dueling but their are differences." Cal answered hearing that.
"Well unlike Turbo Dueling, Speed Duels allows you to still use your Field Spells, and have limited zones different from Master Dueling." Cal answered him. He then shrugged, "I'm not a dueling expert but even I know that's a pretty big draw back."
"If that's the only difference they sound simple enough." Yuri mentioned. "It just means you need to pick your cards more carefully and... what the?"
"What is it Dad?" Yusaku asked before turning over to see what Yuri's looking at.
On the screen the sky was cracking as Nyx, Gore, and Blue Angel were looking at it in confusion.
"What-What's this?" the MC asked seeing this.
Suddenly the sky crackled off revealing the same dragon that attacked the two digital beings years back roaring loud with someone riding it.
"What is that thing?" Celina questioned in shock.
At SOL Tech Akira meanwhile grunting, "The draw back of City Scan... It lowers our defenses allowing the Knights of Hanoi to break in..."
Back at the area where the three Charisma Duelists are at the dragon started attacking everyone including duelists who vanished in data upon being hit with the dragon's breath as the person riding it demanded, "Ignis! Show yourselves!"
The people started to run and panic fleeing from the dragon. Yusaku grunted, "Lilly!" He ran in the truck, "Kolter start up the virtualization!"
Cal however looked over saying, "Yusaku there should be something here you should know before hand!"
"Make it fast." Yusaku told him.
"I found the two programs the Hanoi are looking for. They've must of split together from the start of the dragon's attack but I'm tracking one of them in one custom path!" Kolter told him.
Hearing that Yusaku grunted sitting beside him, "Then we better have it with us fast so the Hanoi will be lured to us! We'll find the other while in Link VRAINS! Let's hurry, and get the path set up so we can help Lilly!"
"Already on it." he answered.
They both quickly typed in.
In Link VRAINS...
Nyx, and Blue Angel were both running from the dragon to get somewhere safe.
"What's going on, what is that thing?" Nyx asked fearfully.
"I don't know Nyx. We gotta stay away from it!" Blue Angel told her holding her hand.
While running off Nyx notices something which looks like a blue eye on a statue.
'What the...' she thought only to ignore it. "Why today though? I finally get to tell you how much you inspired me and now this happens?"
Suddenly the dragon flew in front of them stopping them, "Where are the Ignis!?"
"Ignis, what are you talking about?" Blue Angel asked.
The dragon charged a breath to fire at them. The two of them looked at the dragon nervously. The dragon fired it as the two cried out closing their eyes only for them not to feel getting hit. Confused they opened their eyes. They see something blue in front of them shielding them before crying out when the blast was dispelled reverting to a small eye form, the same eye Nyx had seen.
"What the?" Blue Angel asked in shock.
"You... saved us." Nyx whispered seeing the eye.
The eye grunted breathing as the person riding the dragon sees it, "IGNIS!"
The dragon immediately starts another breath to destroy the eye. Seeing that Nyx grabbed the eye before running. "Split up!"
Hearing that Blue Angel did not question it splitting up with Nyx as the man looked over, "Ah as if their aren't enough problems!"
Back with them...
"Alright path's complete!" Yusaku called at this.
"And just in time, Nyx is in danger." Yuri told them.
Yusaku pressed a button running out raising his Duel Disk, "If the AI took the bait it'll come straight here!" Lightning crackled around him as he said this.
Celina, Cal, and Yuri watched nervously. When it stopped Yusaku lowered it as his Duel Disk, "Transfer complete."
It was revealed to be a black eye like the other one opening it before growing alarmed, "Oi!"
"Hello there. You must be the AI everyone wants." Yusaku said seeing him.
The AI looked around, "Hey where's my friend? Did you do something to her!?"
"You, and her were split but we can find her later! Right now we gotta help my sister in VRAINS!" Yusaku answered running in, "Kolter start it up!"
"Already done." Cal answered.
Yusaku ran in before the door closed as he armed his Deck, "It's time to Link into the VRAINS!" He glowed before starting to transform where he is now man wearing a black and green bodysuit with golden stripes going across his body and a grey belt at the waistline. His hair color also changes to yellow and red with pink strips and accents.
He flew in before flying in.
The dragon meanwhile caught up with Nyx, "Your toast!"
The dragon fired a blast where something grabbed her away landing on the top of a building revealing Yusaku in his VRAINS form had just grabbed Nyx out of the way. Seeing him she took a breath. "The Hanoi were after someone called Ignis, I think it's her."
As she said that Nyx revealed the blue eye. Seeing her the black eye widened, "Your okay! I thought the Hanoi got ya for sure when we split!"
"You two know each other?" Nyx asked
"Yes... We're Ignis."
the blue eye answered.
The dragon meanwhile flew in front of them, "You dare interfere punks?"
Yusaku glared stating, "My name is Playmaker, and we have what your looking for right here." He raised his Duel Disk to show the eye he has, "So if you don't call off your attack you will regret it."
"Regret it, and how do you come to that conclusion?" the man on the dragon questioned.
"Cause I will delete this AI right now." Playmaker answered.
Hearing that shocked the two AI as the male one cried, "W-W-WHA!? Hey who's side are ya on!?"
"Play it cool." Playmaker said quietly to him before saying to the man, "Now come down here, and face us!"
The man growled jumping down as the dragon vanished allowing all four to see his appearance. He has on a a mask that has a hole on one wearing a white cloak with a hood, and a green belt on him glaring at the two.
"Can you beat him?" Nyx asked quietly.
"I'd say you do need some assistance cause his dragon is powerful, and your Decks not enough against it." the eye on Playmaker's Duel Disk told him.
"Then do you need to pray for me to win?" Playmaker questioned him, "Cause otherwise you'll be going home with the Hanoi."
"AIs don't pray! We make calculations in order to win!" the AI told him simply.
The AI with Nyx asked her, "Can you help him young one?"
"Playmaker doesn't need my help." Nyx answered. "And I'm not that young, he's only a year older than I am."
They both noticed the Knight is calling, "I have them both! I need backup so they don't get away!"
"Not good, any ideas?" the AI with Nyx asked.
Playmaker turned to her, "Split up, and deal with one Knight each!"
Nyx blinked before nodding. "Right, be careful though. You know what they're capable of."
The AI with Playmaker called, "Alright we'll even up the odds! Ready?"
"You know it." the AI of Nyx answered as they both glowed before a storm made of data rose up against them before a wave of data appeared which she told Nyx, "Hop on!" A purple board appeared for Nyx to jump on.
Her eyes widened in shock before doing so. "What is this?"
It sped off where another Knight intercepted her as the AI explained, "Do you know Speed Dueling? If not I can give you a quick explanation on the rules."
"I could use it." she mentioned before glaring at the Knight. "I'm guessing you're not the civil type for ladies first?"
"Boy, Girl all I see are duelists!" the Knight called pointing at her, "I'll get rid of you, and take that Ignis!"
Nyx frowned. "You want her, come and get her."
She then whispered.
"You are a girl right, you sound like a girl at least."
"Yes I am." the AI answered. That was before she said, "Here is what you need to know on Speed Dueling. Unlike Master Dueling you have limited Zones to where you three of each. And there is no Main Phase 2 which means when you battle you gotta be sure your prepared, and ready before ending your turn so you gotta pay careful attention. And lastly once a duel you can activate an ability called a Skill. When we're at the right time, I'll explain more on those. But here."
A Deck materialized in front of Nyx. She blinked. "Next time, I have my own cards for this duel."
"I know that, and I don't underestimate your abilities with your Deck which is incredible but against that Dragon it's not gonna be enough." the Ai told her.
Nyx turned to the AI. "Trust me, it'll be alright."
Hearing that the AI looked worried before the Deck vanished in data saying, "Okay, I'll trust you."
Nyx nodded turning to the Knight of Hanoi and activating her Duel Disk.

Hound from the graveyard fired a purple blast at Cracking Dragon making it screech as it moved to defend itself.

"Ah!" the Knight gasped.
"Shaddoll Core's effect adds Nephe Shaddoll Fusion back to my hand, but now I can attack Cracking Dragon with Construct." Nyx called
Construct charged energy as the Knight laughed, "It's useless! Cracking Dragon cannot be destroyed by a monster with an equal or lower level!"
Nyx's eyes widened at that. "What?"
Construct landed the attack but it was nullified as the AI said nervously, "That's what I was telling ya. Your Deck maybe amazing but against a monster like Cracking Dragon..."
Nyx stared at the monster before frowning. "I... end my turn."
"During the End Phase the effect of Cracking Dragon ends so your monster's points return to normal." the Knight told her.

"I told you when we get to a better tell I'll tell you more on Skills." the AI told her before saying, "Skills are basically Special Abilities, a Duelist can have while Speed Dueling once a duel. You can increase your Life Points, summon another monster, defending yourself, their are many."
Nyx nodded before frowning.
"Find Playmaker." she whispered. "He's about to beat me."
To her shock the AI refused, "No."
"It's for your own safety, go." Nyx told the AI.
"No." the AI told her, "I had dragged you into this, and not told you of Cracking Dragon's abilities. But I know how to make up for it. Your own Skill!"
"I don't have one, and it won't help, I don't have a monster that can beat that dragon. Even if I survive the turn I don't have enough life points to summon a level nine monster." Nyx pointed out.
"I am giving you a Skill I made." the AI clarified, "Trust me, Nyx!"
Nyx stared at the AI before reluctantly nodding despite looking unconvinced.
"By skipping my Draw Phase, when my Cracking Dragon destroys your monster in battle you summon a monster from your graveyard who's level is the least! Sacrificial Burial!" the Knight called at her.

Nyx's eyes widened hearing that. 'My weakest monster is Shaddoll Hound.'
"I switch Cracking Dragon to attack mode!"
Cracking Dragon rose up. (Attack Position)
"Go Cracking Dragon! Traffic Blast!" the Knight called as Cracking Dragon fired a blue blast at Construct.
Construct shattered from the blast as Shaddoll Hound reappeared.

The AI however told Nyx, "Alright Nyx... Now during your Draw Phase you can use the Skill, I gave you."
The infobox appeared allowing Nyx to see it. Nyx looked at it before frowning. "I... use my Skill Purifying Waters?"

"Your only delay your defeat with regaining points." the Knight pointed out.
"No your monsters abilities are also negated!" Nyx revealed shocking him as Cracking Dragon glitched.

"When it activates I add Aleister the Invoker to my hand!" Nyx said revealing a monster card, "Next I equip Hound with Nephe Shaddoll Fusion, and change his Attribute this time to Fire!"

"Then I fuse him with the Falco, I drawn!" Nyx called as the two fused together, "That way I can Fusion Summon, El Shaddoll Grysta!"
From there a knight having flaming wings rose up.

The Knight of Hanoi looked shocked as Cracking Dragon shattered.
"Then by banishing Construct from my graveyard it gains her points!" Nyx added.

"4800!" the Knight cried in horror.
"Go Augoeides finish him!" Nyx called as her monster attacked the Knight blasting him off his board screaming.

The AI sighed saying to Nyx, "That was a breath taker."
Nyx nodded only to frown. 'I just hope you're ok big brother.'
